The Bell family moved to a new farm house in Tennessee by the Red River. Soon after getting moved in and starting to dig the place a ghost started smacking them and cussing them. After the eruption of Mt. St. Helens on May 18th 1980 the U.S. Government sent as many people from as many different branches of the Govt and services as they could to help in recovery of civilians and to clean up. Although most humans were aware of the coming disaster, the wildlife was not. The government went in and retrieved many animal bodies that were killed in the aftermath of the eruption.
