Reflecting on International Women’s Day we asked three of the Rowett Institute’s women Professors to share their career journeys, research passions and achievements.  The following questions were discussed: 

  1. Can you tell us when and why you first become interested in science?
  2. What and where did you study? What made you choose those courses?
  3. What type of scientist are you and how did that bring you to work at the at the Rowett Institute?
  4. What are your current and future research interest?
  5. What else do you do in your role? E.g. teaching
  6. What have been your major career milestones, highlights or obstacles? How did you achieve them or navigate round them?
  7. What advice you would give to women interesting in a career in science research or academia?
