I achieved a 6KM run for the first time today. I've always wanted to to double the daily 3.5KM I'm used to. So today I put myself to the challenge and ran 6KM in 37 minutes and some few seconds.

Lately I've been going on morning run averaging from 3.5k to 5km. Over time, I plan on increasing it. So I got the idea to start documenting my runs here. I keep track of my running stats using the Strava App.

It's exciting to have made it into another month in the year 2022, and I'm pleased to wish everyone a Happy New Month. The month of February as always been significant for celebrating Love. I shared my own meaning to Love and why it is important to show an act of Love during this period.

It has taken me virtually a whole month to get myself together to begin putting in the work required to take my life from where it is now to what I actually aspire for it to be. I then decided to review my previous year goals before deciding to set a new one. It was a struggle achieving few out of last year's goals so I decided to go a little bit slack with this year's goal.

trust I meet you doing good?
Its been exactly thirty (30) days since I last published on my blog. The last thing I remembered sharing here was my preparation towards my first official Association meeting, and afterwards I vanished. My plan was to share a blog the following week's Monday discussing about how the meeting went because I traveled home that same day after the meeting and while I was at home, I was literally left with no chance to blog. But little did I know that universe had a different plan for me.
The new week arrived and lectures became a little more intense. The courses I offer began to look broad and difficult to easily understand. Well, it was expected because it's the final level (year) and the complex part of the course was finally being revealed and taught. The first day of that week was completely exhausting, and just after I thought I had gone through enough stress for the day, I discovered that our previous semester Examination result has been posted on the notice board while we were still In receiving lecture in class.
I confidently approached the notice board and hastily glanced through the list in search of my matriculation number to see what grades I've got in my exams. I was feeling a little bit tensed but I was handling it very well that it would be hard for someone to notice that I was. I saw my CGPA (3.12 out of 4.00) and I felt sad immediately. I was expecting to have an increment of at least 0.1 from my previous GPA (3.24) but instead I dropped. I know some might be wondering why I felt sad for such a result which is still very much good although it's not the best. Well, I felt sad because of the sacrifices I had made during the course of the exam. Only I knew what it cost me to prepare for the exams so that why I felt sad for not reaching my target/expectations. Catch the Full story in my video!.

Hello everyone, trust I meet you all doing good?
Its been two weeks since the completion of my examination for the fourth year in my course of study (Electrical/Electronic Engineering). Life during the fourth year hasn’t been much of what I expected. Lot of unexpected incidents had taken place and what was ‘the expected’ never occurred. The recently concluded examination came off as a success overall for me, but in between were several challenges.
In my video today, I and my friend/colleague @shamzy who I recently invited to become a member of the Hive community, spared some time to discuss about our experiences and expectations from our recently concluded examination. It was more of an interview-like session and glad my friend Shamzy was really confident enough to expressively deliver his words to my viewer, being his first time ever getting on camera.
In summary, what our discission entailed are; why we are studying the course Electrical/Electronic Engineering, what our expectations are from studying the course, how confident we were in achieving an excellent grade before sitting for the examination, what our expectations were before and after sitting for our recently concluded examination, what we would be using our two (2) weeks holiday to achieve, and lastly what our plans are moving on into our final year, which is HND2.
Below are some highlights from our discussion session;
- Studying Electrical/Electronic Engineering is something I would call a miracle because I wanted to became a Farmer. – Shamzy
- I’ve had a thing for Electrical Engineering since I was young that’s why my parent advised me to study Electrical/Electronic Engineering in the Higher institution. – K-banti
- I’m glad I quit my dream of becoming a Farmer to become and Engineer who can solve the world’s problem with the use of Technology. – Shamzy
- I wasn’t scared to sit for the examination despite knowing I wasn’t fully prepared. – K-banti
- I studied hard and did a lot of overnight readings in order to have an A in all my courses. – Shamzy
- I will use the first one week of my holiday to rest in order to get refreshed and then I’d work more on creating content on Hive and do a lot more of researches. – Shamzy
- I will mostly likely be studying Power options during my HND2 because I have been exposed more to the power related studies and I also underwent my Industrial training (IT) at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). – Shamzy
- I don’t shy away from what is difficult, it’s just that I have had a thing for Electronics from way back. – K-banti

It's with utmost pleasure I write this blog post after three (3) weeks straight of no content creation. Today marks the completion of my examination which was the reason why I haven’t had time to spare to create Hive contents. I’m grateful to God Almighty for success of the examination and also for the successful completion of another year in my course of study.
I'm eager to resume posting on Hive, but then I’d need to do that on a gradual pace due to the fact that I still need to rest my body and brain from the stress it underwent during the course of the examination. Can’t wait to pick up from where I left off and catch up with things have missed out. Looking forward to doing Hive full-time once again.

Hello everyone, trust I meet you all doing good?
It was crucial and important that I remind myself to get prepared for a tideous month ahead, so I strategized how to mange my activities here on Hive alongside with my Academics. I had initially filmed this vlog three weekends back and planned on posting it the weekend after. But after going through the week I realized, there was absolutely no way I was going to be able to achieve all I've planned with so much school activities lines up with few weeks, so I refrained from posting it. But today, I just woke up feeling the urge of posting the video. I've been sacred of posting this vlog because I knew I was going to fail in achieving my plans, but I don't feel that way anymore. Seem I woke up today feeling great 🙂
Initially, I had plans to keep grinding hard with Hive during this period while I'm in school so my blog doesn't become inactive like it did the previous time I was in school. The previous time, I had to completely ignore my Hive blog because I resumed back to school and there was a lot of rush in activities. This is because the academic session in recent times hasn't really operated smoothly as a result of the corona outbreak which caused us to go on a long break and also the ASUP strike that occurred which put a stop to lectures. So when we're asked to resume back to school for lectures, we will be left with very little time left to round up with the semester and there would always be a rush to cover up all activities that was planned for a 13 weeks semester within 2-4 weeks. So it's always hard to multitask during this period.
That's why most times I end up ghosting on Hive and all focus are channeled to my Academics, not because I want to, but because school activities are just too much that it gets overwhelming and I get consumed by it. But this time around I tried to change the narrative which still ended up being impossible. Although this time around I still find myself being able to get active on Hive during the weekends. I try to create one or two contents during the weekend and interact with few individuals in order not to go dead and retain a little activeness on my blog.
My wildest dream of being an active blogging student (i.e. actively blogging while in school 😜) are still yet to be fulfilled. I won't be posting at least once daily as previously stated in the video, my plans on getting more active with the #hivenaija community would still slowly manifest. And every other days I find the space and energy to make a post, I'd most definitely do. Lastly, shutout to @starstrings01, @josediccus and several other Nigerian hivers who are students. You all deserve to be praised for your effort and ability to maintain your Hive activities with Academics. ... **THANKS FOR VISITING MY BLOG

Hello everyone, trust I meet y'all doing good? Happy New Month.
It has been an hectic week for me so far, from one class to the other, Assessments (Test) back to back, writing of report for exercises carried out, and lot more. On top of it all, Exams starts in a week time. The conclusion of the semester has been a big rush. We were given just few weeks to round up so we can take our exams.
It's that period of the semester again when I do get anxious. I've always never found myself well prepared before an exam is being announced. Oh! Well, I've still got about a week till exams begin, so I'm just gonna use the time left to get prepared. But I'm filled with worries on how to go about the whole study process, how I'm gonna read a material that was meant to be treated for three months in just a week? I think I'm overwhelmed.

Today, I failed at achieving what my set goal for the day was. I had planned to use my weekend to create some contents I had in mind and also to visit my school campus to study and finish up a group assignment. But unfortunately, I was lazy and kept procrastinating the time until the day ended and I couldn't get any of it done.
Now I've got a lot more to work to do on myself. I need to work on getting more disciplined in order to get rid of laziness and procrastination. I hope it happens fast 🙂.

After a tasking overnight preparation for my first test during the week, I have come to realize that success can't be achieved overnight. That's why I've chosen to adjust my reading schedule to something more defining with an hope of guaranteed success. Basically, same applies to life, it takes gradual process until success is achieved.
The week was an awesome one, and I've sacrificed a little more time into study during the week. So , I'm looking forward to an exciting weekend and the hope of maximizing the weekend to create some contents.

Hello everyone, trust I meet y'all doing good?
All my energy has been channelled towards my academics lately. I was meant to have me first test today, but fortunately is was moved to tomorrow. I'm so excited about that, because if I has taken the test today, I had no two option than to fail it.
The lecturer in which we would be having his test tomorrow was in class today to do some top up and on what he has taught us so far. It was then I realized I've still got a lot to cover. After the class I and few of my friends began to study immediately.
In fact, I'd be doing an overnight reading in the school library tonight. The part time students are currently writing there exams so I'm hoping the school library will be opened for students who want to come in to read. And if not, I will just find and area within the school premises to study. |
What my gallery looks like at the moment.. Filled with snapshot of notes I'm to read through before sitting for tomorrow's test. I'm most beginning to get anxious because I've still got aot to cover with school work. I was even planning during the weekend on how I was going to manage my content creation hand-in-hand with my academics but right now I'm even scared to share the video where I talked about my plans because I'm beginning to feel I'd end up failing to keep the ball rolling with Hive during period.
Although I remain optimistic. I'd watch closely to see how I am able to deal with this week before I conclude if I'd be willing to take the challenge of managing my Hive blog with my Academics within the next two months. Till then, Bye!

Fridays on my lecture time time are free days. But free days do eventually becomes an activity filled day. Today I woke up to firstly do my laundry. Then I freshened up and decided film a vlog. Unfortunately there was a mix up with the topic I discussed I the video which I found out later in the evening so I just deleted the video. Will be refilming it again tomorrow. I visited the saloon to get a haircut when I was done filming the vlog. I also tried searching for a telecommunication store to purchase a new SIM card but I could find any. I just trekked back home dissapionted.
