A young student is brutally raped and murdered. Her parents, Tom and Christine, are now confronted with the daunting task of processing their grief and attempting to come to terms with the horror that befell their child. The paths they take in doing so, however, couldn't be starker in contrast. Christine has withdrawn into a deadened world of suppressed rage and bitterness that has left her incapable of seeing beyond the terrible tragedy that has visited her. Her husband, Tom, on the other hand, has taken the unusual step of publicly announcing his forgiveness of their daughter's killer. At the most difficult moment in their lives, a wedge has been driven between them, threatening to destroy the only thing they have left, each other. On this explosive evening of final reckoning, as home truths and simmering resentments are laid bare, each will learn painful, often brutal lessons on both the nature of forgiveness and the treachery of images.

Rebecca Bishop is frustrated. After seven years, her boyfriend, Scott Billings, still avoids making any long-term commitment about their future. As a result, she decides, with the reluctant help of her best friend/employee, Michael Allen, to look into online dating, not necessarily to find someone else, but rather, as she puts it, “to understand my options.” Nevertheless, she does discover a guy who looks promising, and she arranges a meeting. It goes well, and the two decide on a second date. Meanwhile, Michael, convinced that Scott is the one for her, schemes and conspires to try and get Rebecca and Scott back together.

When Brian, a healthcare assistant at the nursing home, informs Davey that the bus stop is fake, set up to catch escapee residents, they band together to try to get May back inside without causing too much damage to her... or themselves.

Painting death-row meals on china plates may seem like a quirky artistic endeavor. But Professor’s made quite a name for herself doing just that from the safety of her conservative Midwestern college. As someone who struggles with gender identity, she’s fascinated by this final decision in a life otherwise devoid of options. But now, pressured by her tenure committee, she has her first face-to-face with the next inmate to die — Texas prisoner Trevor Monroe. But Trevor wants a stay of execution — not a final meal — putting Professor uncomfortably front and center in a very public social media frenzy and setting up a series of life-altering events for the artist, the prison warden, and the man about to die. Inspired in part by true events, including the botched 2014 Oklahoma execution of inmate Clayton D. Lockett.

Marshall Evans is finally back in his Florida home after the police are done with the investigation. There, two days ago, his partner Judge William Kane was found shot to death. Today in the Great Room of the same house, Marsh is being questioned by a young female African-American detective who goes by the name of Charley. It seems that there are doubts about the Judge’s death. The wealthy Mr. Evans finds the interview insulting, but he plays along. Besides, his bar is well-stocked.
Throughout the evening, Marshall shines - expounding hilariously on such topics as Health, Infidelity, and yes, even Death. But eventually, he is forced to face the truth.

The Old Man is dead. He knows it. Endlessly stuck in a bathroom, the Old Man is doomed repeatedly to recall his life through faces he sees in a deck of playing cards while continuously consuming cheap wine. When Al Adams arrives, the Old Man assumes an alcohol-induced hallucination. But Adams is real and has his own past to relive and recall.
Now Adams and the Old Man, by chance or fate, are trapped in a place from which both are seeking escape. Through memories, they face the worst of their pasts and attain an understanding of the need for helping others in helping themselves.

A Black soldier in the American army has been required to perform several distressing tasks: forcing Native Americans out of the Western United States and into Canada, policing rowdy Gold Rushers at the Canadian-American Border, and finally to sail to the Philippines to repress nationalist aspirations of the people newly freed from the Spanish colonial yoke. He balks at this last order and deserts the Army when he discovers and stealthily pursues his true enemy, the scion of a Southern family that once owned his. This play is an expansion of a fictional character in a well-known poem; Captain, from the Robert W. Service poem, The Cremation of Sam McGee.
