Paul corrects an error in the church, where they were fearful that they had missed the coming of Jesus and The Day of the Lord. He tells them what to watch for and gives them HOPE amidst tribulation.
Do you believe that we come to church gatherings with a sense of urgency? What about the way you share the gospel, or represent your savior?

The New Covenant does not begin in Matthew. It is represented through the promises in Genesis. The law does not save; it causes those who are apart from God to see their need for a savior.
Bros. Stephen Belk and Bo Kelleher teach from the 4th chapter of Ephesians on Unity in the Spirit and Putting off the Old Self and Putting on the New Self.
Pastor David Ashworth examines the preparedness of the church for revival. Some in the church are more prepared to endure tribulation in a bunker than they are prepared for the Holy Spirit to awaken their church and their community through revival. "We should never imagine that our work here is done, if Christ has not returned!"
Bros. Joseph Mason and Jason Washam bring us teaching from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Ephesians 3:1-13 deals with Christians facing their trials with faith. Verses 14-21 encompass a prayer for spiritual strength.
Why do we not see revival today? It's not for a lack of Christian perfection. Revival comes because people are surrendered. Pastor David Ashworth preaches on the need for prayerfully seeking after God and the heartbreak the must necessarily accompany a prayer life that sees the hearts of men and the world just as God sees it. A heart after God's heart will be one that is in anguish.
God is everywhere, but doesn't always make his presence known. Revival is a time, usually brought about by a heart of repentance and a prayerful seeking after God, where God's presence becomes unstoppable. Revival doesn't begin with unbelievers. It begins first in the church. The triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem at the beginning of the Holy Week was the fulfillment of prophesy and the beginning of the end of Jesus earthly ministry. Jesus shows himself to be King, Prophet, and eventually Priest.
We normally don't record Wednesday nights but David requested that Stephen share from his recent missions trip to El Salvador. He spends time talking about healing testimony from before the trip and then the actual trip itself.

What implication does the Marriage Supper of the Lamb have on our lives? If we understood this, we would understand the promises with us and the promises we wait for. It is in the second coming of Jesus and this celebration that brings hope to many.
What authority do we give Jesus over our lives? As we examine how we should live, what does it mean spiritually to have sight? What does it mean to be able to hear? These are critical questions to answer as we follow Jesus.
What does it mean to be a slave of Christ? Often we don't see ourselves as we should: fully submitted to the will of God.
Being a bondservant to Christ means that He paid a debt we could not pay, therefore we are His servants for the remainder of our lives and as we submit ourselves to Him, we find an unexpected freedom, even as servants.
