Three family members had the slight symptoms of the virus, we were told to wait 5 days before testing and had to stay at home. Our respond was to take it as an emergency case at home. I would like to share with you what we did with those slight symptoms. I am grateful to everyone who supported us in that journey. This pandemic taught me to become more resilient. Tatay is a Filipino word for father. This episode is very personal and it allowed me to become vulnerable. A father may be biological or someone who held us during our journey. A bond that we could safely say we have someone to call our rock. Thankful to every father who kissed the sun for our future. Gratitude to every dad who silently stood for us when nobody even dared to look at us. Ang Tatay ko is all about my father who may be the same as yours.
