North Staffs News editor Jerome Whittingham meets Reb at B Arts Stoke.
Reb tells Jerome about the theme of this year's Etruria Canal Festival, which takes place Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June, 11am to 5pm.
Reb said: "This year we're doing a celebration of Women of the Water. It tied in with the Jubilee. We had a conversation about how we'd like to reflect on anniversaries and people who've achieved extraordinary things over a long period of time - people with a connection to the waterways, and particularly women."

“You can whinge. You can complain. You can do all that kind of stuff. If you don't do anything about it, then nothing's going to change. And that’s the secret. That's where we come along with We Get A Deal,” says Craig Price.
Craig is Director of We Get A Deal, an online platform that might just have the answer to the decline of our High Streets and town centres.
The editor, Jerome Whittingham, met Craig at the Connections business networking event. Craig got in touch with North Staffs News afterwards to tell us about his mission to help put money into the tills of local businesses.
The answer, Craig explained, is to make it simple and cost-effective for local businesses to compete with the well-known, global, online retailers.

North Staffs News editor Jerome Whittingham was invited to take a look around the Brampton Museum and Art Gallery by Elise Turner, the museum's Activities and Events Officer.
Elise said: "Thanks to the National Lottery we are just finishing a £850,000 redevelopment and expansion of our beloved local museum, including a new café, shop, a dedicated events space and new art gallery. It would be lovely to arrange a podcast interview with you at the museum to tell you about the new spaces we have, all free to local people, and the exciting new events and activities we have coming up."
The museum was bustling with visitors!
Elise talked about the wide range of activities now being delivered at the museum, including visiting exhibitions, events on the museum's park, school visits, public talks, film club.
She also introduced the editor to Allyson, leader of 'gentle exercise classes' at the museum.

Martine Greenwell, director and trainer at Burslem's Hourglass Performance Training gym, is an inspiring woman.
North Staffs News editor Jerome Whittingham paid a visit to the gym to learn more about Martine's mission to empower local women.
Martine said: "There's women here with so much potential and they just don't have any self- belief. When you start training them, and they start physically becoming stronger and fitter and more confident, it's like, 'why don't you do this?' 'Oh, never thought that.' 'Why don't you do that? She can help you with that.' And that's what the women here do."
Listen to hear how Martine has helped women to start up businesses, supported women through domestic violence, and created a community focused on kindness.
