A space for content creators to inspire & connect with the community. Hosted by Carlos Bown (Bown Media)
Evan Bourcier is an Award-Winning Multidisciplinary Creator and founder of Challenger Media House. Growing up with a passion for exploration and expression, he spent his late nights learning to code and studying to be either a fighter pilot or the next Michelangelo, but a sharp disdain for math and lack of patience for drawing put a quick end to those dreams.
When life put a camera in his hands at 18, the opportunity to create beauty and share new perspectives with the world was clear.
Despite not having a college degree or even a GED his journey has taken him around the world, sharing beauty and curiosity with millions of people in the process.
Evan’s passion for collaboration and diverse experiences has always outweighed his attachment to a title, moving from work on one-man-band music videos to large commercial cinematography projects for brands like Apple and Walmart, and from film into performing - hosting multiple podcasts, performing improv, and always being involved in some crazy athletic endeavor.
Whether working in Film, Photography, Podcasts, Corporate Communication, Educational Youtube Content, Experience Design, or creating physical products, his favorite work is applying the magic of creativity to things which feel undeniably real, creating emotional space for people to challenge their limiting beliefs and fully embrace their own humanity.
In today's episode, Tully Chapman talks about his transition from quitting his full-time career of over 10 years to become a full-time videographer/photographer. In addition, we talk about how to break into new industries, the importance of networking/connecting with other creators, how to land new clients, and much more!
