As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are commissioned with spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and that is my goal in creating this podcast. In this show, I plan to cover a multitude of topics that cover the Christian faith in a compassionate way to help believers grow in faith and non-believers Find Jesus. The Lord is always near. In the dark times of our life and in the good, He never forsakes us. In this episode I lay out steps to a pattern of prayer as seen in Lamentation, Matthew, and Philippians. Glory be to God!
"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." (2 Peter 3:9). God longs for all to turn back to Him and His love. His compassion on us brings arms of grace and mercy that wrap us up.
As believers in Christ, we are made new and by putting on our new self, we are called to surrender to the Lord and surrender to the will of God. In this episode, I talk about wrestling with God about giving up control in all areas of our lives and making Jesus Lord over all things. "Sometimes we don't want to give control to the Lord because it means we won't always receive everything our flesh eagerly desires,"
In this episode, I go over the Armor of God (Eph. 6:10-18) and really dissect scripture to help all of us understand what Paul was visualizing when he wrote this scripture. We are fighting a spiritual war every minute of our lives and it is crucial to keep the Armor on at all times- especially in a day and age like today.
When Joseph, son of Israel, was faced with difficulty, he chose Integrity and stayed devoted to God rather than letting his own emotions take precedent. Integrity is a choice we all get to make in our daily lives and when we continue to put Jesus first and at the center of our lives, it will become a pattern that leads us to greater situations.
This is a random pop up episode- totally random and very spirit led. I was left in awe at seeing deer in the yard and after hearing the song "As The Deer" by Steffany Gretzinger for the first time ever, right after seeing them, I felt compelled to dive deep into deer in the bible. Roughly 30-45 minutes later, I had this put together ready to share with you the Glory of God.
In this episode, I present biblical evidence to God always having a purpose and a plan for us. He gives us meaning as he is the source of all life. I talk about his love, grace and mercy that he extends to us and tie it all together showing his faithfulness and purpose for our existence.
In this episode, I am going to share my testimony of becoming a follower of Christ and go over where The Trough came from and the purpose behind this all.
