As an "Ausome" Father, I found it hard to process my feelings and thoughts when my son was diagnosed at age 3. I had anger, regret, depression and readily took it out on everyone, including my wife at that time. Throughout the years, I learned to be blessed with my son's gift, and speak out to other Fathers, Mothers, and those in our Ausome community. Join me as I speak (transparently) from the heart about past experiences and lessons learned in my journey with my son
This episode, Ausome family, was one that left me shocked! But it also gave me more to think about; perspective about the current state of Caregivers, and what IF this theory has evolved into today?
Definitely take a listen and share your thoughts!
I love you all!
It's finally summer time Ausome family! I hope you and your family are enjoying the weather and all the "feels" about summertime (Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff in the background, lol).
I'm happy you decided to join me today, as I talk about Pennsylvania's "Yellow Dot Program", and how YOU can get your Ausome loved one enrolled.
I also wanted to take this time to speak man to man to those Ausome Father's out there. I hope you receive me and my message as another layer of Transparency.
I love you all!
Hey Ausome Family,
I'm not sure how this episode escaped my radar, but this is A MUST, for all my Ausome Fathers (and Mothers) to listen, and receive! I had an opportunity to sit an talk to my brother Joe about Faith, and my navigation through it.
I hope this invokes some deep conversations, thoughts, and growth.
I love you all!
Ausome Family!
I hope you enjoyed your Ausome holiday weekend. It's officially the start of summer, and I've been getting a lot of questions regarding what is the difference between OVR/ODP (Naughty by Nature playing in the background :) ).
PA residents of our Ausome community. If you don't know what the difference is, and when or if you can utilize their programming, this is an episode you should listen too.
As always, I love you!
We are back with another episode. The 2024 Autism Fathers Conference was AMAZING! Listen as I go over some of the highs and lows of the conference, and planning for the 2025 conference.
I also wanted to touch on the options of OVR (Office of Vocational Rehabilitation) and ODP (Office of Developmental Programs) for our "Ausome" loved ones, briefly and the importance of "Power of Attorney" and "Guardianship.
Make sure to have your pen and pads ready!
I love you all!
Hey Ausome family! I hope everyone has been well. It has been a minute since I've been able to publish some new content, and I wanted to apologize and make it up to you all. I have been "sitting on" these two episodes for the past month, but they are so full of "rich" information, and perspectives, that I had no choice but to share them. Not to mention, I was able to get Shayne on the Mic :)
I hope you enjoy!
I love you all....
On March 11th, the news and media rang of a death in Apple Valley, California. 15-year-old Ryan Gainer was shot and killed by two California deputies. Ryan Gainer was an Ausome young man, who is gone too soon.
This was a VERY emotional episode for me, as I have a 15-year-old; soon to be 16. On March 11th, I lost a child; we ALL lost a child.
Please listen and share!
I love you all
Ausome Family, welcome!
I'm so happy to be back in the studio, addressing some things that are important to our community. On this episode, I wanted to talk a little about Governor Shapiro's 2023/2024 Budget, when it comes to families and individuals with Autism or an Intellectual Disability. Is it enough?
And, I have an exciting event coming up...Tune in to hear about it, and how YOU can be a big Part of it!!!
I love you all!
Hello my AUSOME family. It's your host Jamiel ("J"), and I wanted to sit and talk with you about something that normally doesn't have a seat at the dinner table... and that's sexual abuse! I recently had a training class about the signs, and identifying sexual abuse in our Neurotypical children, and I started to wonder what that looks like in the Neurodiverse community and the statistics are STAGGERING!!
Make sure to pull up a chair, get your coffee or favorite drink, and let's chop it up.
I love you all!
Ausome family, I hope everyone is enjoying the snow (Don't complain, it's been two years since the last snow fall, lol). Join me as I take a deep dive into the new legislation that was passed by Governor Shapiros office, as well as the PID (Pennsylvania Insurance Department).
And as I give insight to another look at life through Shayne's eyes after having our weekly conversations. As always I love you all!
Hey Ausome family!
Happy New Year; 2024. Well, I wish we could start on a "good" note, but we have to address the challenges, to make sense, learn, and make do for the good! Sit and listen as I address these two topics that I have been dying to talk about.
As always, I love you all.... and even you Mrs. K :)
Hey Ausome family, it's a wrap for 2023, and I'm looking forward to a successful, prosperous 2024 with YOU! Listen in, as I wanted to talk a little bit about my year, and some words of encouragement for us all going into 2024......
I love and appreciate every one of you.
Thank you
Hey Ausome Family. Happy Holidays! I can't believe that Philadelphia has hit another "First" milestone!!! Make sure to sit back and listen as I go over what this means for you, and I, as well as the city of Philadelphia. You know I also have to give my two cents about this amazing accomplishment, and also I touch on the transition to Adulthood mindset; NOW!!!
As always, I love you ALL!
Happy Holidays my Ausome family! It's your boy "J" , and I'm happy to be back behind the mic, and talking to you on some topics I have encountered both Professionally and Personally. Today's two-part episode is speaking on the topic of, FC (Facilitated Communication) & AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Have you ever heard of either one of these? Have you ever used any of these? This might turn some heads after hearing about each one of these tools!
Sit back and enjoy the conversation. As always, give us your thoughts, concerns, and comments; email us at Theausomeshow@gmail.com.
I love you all!
Hey Ausome friends! What a year it has been. I have to say sorry for being absent from the platform for so long, but it hasn't been in vain! I have been out in the field doing great things Professionally, and personally with myself and my nonprofit organization called Ausomeness Inc. I am also happy and blessed to announce that the show is back on online radio at www.whiz-radio.com every Saturday at 9 am. Check out this latest episode as I challenge your thinking as an Ausome individual to think about AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Health care... It's coming!
Ausome family, how have you been? It's that time of the year; Autism Awareness Month! Shoutout to all of my Autistics, Advocates, and caretakers. I appreciate and acknowledge YOU!!!!!
Unless you have lived of the grid in the past 8 days, you have seen that the CDC( Center for Disease Control) has released NEW Autism prevalence rates. Wellll, let's just say I don't agree with this "finding" all together. Tune in to here my take on this new development, but also as I speak about employers so called "lack of quaility" employment candidates, SMH. This is an episode you don't want to miss any second of. But I also want to hear from you. So make sure you drop a comment, concern, or request to Theausomeshow@gmail.com
I love you guys!
What an AUSOME way to bring in Spring! I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Andrew and Jomaira Ortiz; Co-founders www.rootedheartsminitires.org . Can you believe that these two AUSOME parents have made it their life's passion to Advocate, Educate, and love on each and every Autistic individual in the world with their non-profit organization and AUSOME FREE SENSORY BOX! This interview really talks deep into the thoughts of both Andrew as an "Ausome" father and Jomaira as an "Ausome" mother, and what it takes to stay positive, and keep their family together. Make sure you listen to the very end of this episode, and also support the Ortiz family and their ministry.
You can follow them on all social media platforms, as well as at www.rootedheartsminitires.org. Don't forget to order your free sensory box today on their website as well.
Love you all.....

I was waiting ALL week for this interview Ausome family. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Kerwin Yarde about his amazing platform "Father. Son. Galaxy", and his even more amazing family! This was an AUSOME interview where we talked about Star Wars and Star Trek, as well as talked "shop" about Autism and his personal connection with our community. If you're not a fan of Star Wars or Star Trek; or just maybe a fan of one, you definitely want to listen to this episode :)
Make sure to follow and support "Father. Son. Galaxy" on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and by checking out their website at www.fathersongalaxy.com

What a year already for us here at The Ausome Show. And with growth ALWAYS comes education. In today's episode, I wanted to speak to a stakeholder in the Autism community that could give me a perspective that I could never attain. I would like to introduce the AMAZING, AUSOME, Zoe Darazsdi. Zoe Darazsdi is a mental health counselor with nearly a decade of experience empowering neurodiverse people. In that time, she has helped countless teens and adults to navigate the challenges and gifts of living with a unique brain. Her practice is trauma-informed and guided by Adlerian counseling theory and disability rights activism.
Zoe’s work is supported by her own autistic self-advocacy and the professional research she conducts on autistic peoples’ experiences in counseling. When Zoe is not counseling, she is writing, kickboxing, and playing with her dog, Beezus.
A MUST LISTEN TO THE VERY END!!!!!

Today's episode is nothing but PROOF that WE Neurotypical individuals THINK we know it ALL. And we are sadly missing the mark. I had the absolute pleasure of having Mr. Khylil Robinson on the show to talk about being a man who is Autistic, being an Autistic man from the Black and Brown community, and his perceptions and experiences about Transition programs, and where organizations are dropping the ball...
Make sure to listen to the absolute end, and don't forget you can always chime in by leaving a message, comment, or your concern at Theausomeshow@gmail.com.

January 28th, 2023, I was able to bring my dream to fruition. With the help of many collaborative organizations, I was able to have my first ever Autism Town Hall. This was something I wanted to put together since 2020, but didn't know how and what direction I should go. After sometime, and God placing the right people and resources in play, I was able to make this happen for Norristown, PA. I partnered with the Norristown Police Department, and other local law-enforcement, educational institutions, Autism driven organizations, and more. It was a successful event, an I'm looking forward to bringing this to Philadelphia in April of 2023.
But I didn't want to get on here to gloat about this event, but more so I wanted to talk about two topics that came up in the Town Hall; Police interactions with Autistics, and Transition to Adulthood programs. I could go on and on about what I talked about, but I would rather that you listen, and give your opinion!
As always I love and appreciate you ALL

Now, topic of today's episode; "The American Dream" Is it for the Autistic Family? But this not only speaks for the Autistic family, but for adult Autistics, those with other Intellectual disabilities, as well as physical disabilities. Listen, as I share some personal views, but challenge your thinking about this dream that we often find ourselves chasing for our loved ones; for ourselves, but is this really something that still exists today?
What's your thoughts?
Whole heartedly I believe this quote from Bishop T.D. Jake's. My wife sent me a podcast link from Sara Jakes Roberts, and when he said this; wow factor! I had to reflect on this and my heart. Listen as I challenge your perspective and heart on this true statement!

Hey Ausome family, J here. I wanted to talk to you guys about my thoughts on organizations that "serve" our "Ausone" community; or do they really🤔. Being a professional in the Healthcare field, and also being a parent in need of resources, services, and just an ear to listen, I know what are communities need. And that's for these "Big box" companies to meet people where they're at! Tune in as I challenge organizations to "self check" how/if they are answering the call. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Hey "Ausome" family! "J" here with something deep on my mind. I can't recall why this came to my mind, but I wanted to talk a little bit about Birthday parties, being scared to throw them for my son Shayne, and how we as "Ausome" parents should address them. This could be something out of left field for some, but for others like myself, it is a harsh reality on something that is so simple. I hope that after sharing my personal thoughts and experiences, that we will together grow and move past " our fears", and allow for positive affirmations to come true.
I love you guys!

Hey guys... I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday. Despite things going on in the world, we ALL have something to be thankful for. Today I wanted to pick your brains about your plans in case of a fire. Ummmm, don't have one🤔. I think NOW is the time to start thinking about it. Make sure to listen as I give vital information about extinguishers, location and challenge you to "outside the box" thinking! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Good morning Ausome family!
I know....I know... there has been plenty of bad vibes regarding and to Autism speaks. I can only speak from a parents perspective on what I need, and would love to see. But I have to/will acknowledge Autistics and their feelings and thoughts. With that being said, I was given an opportunity to make this video to present at an Autism speaks virtual conference. But I wanted to share this with you!
I love you all!
Today is a sad day as I just seen the news about Jason David Frank; the white ranger on Power rangers committed suicide😔. Here on the show, I make it a priority to speak about social issues that plague our community. Today, I wanted to acknowledge those we loss, their families and loved ones by speaking about a chapter in my first book "Life is a puzzle; God gave you a cheat sheet" speaking about my battle with suicide. Text/call "988" if you ever need someone to talk too regarding suicide; reach out to me if you need a ear (445)247-2071. Hello "Ausome" family🤗. It's finally the weekend, and with all this talk about Congress, and locally, talks about the new governor, I wanted to touch on a topic. Act 55 was passed by local legislation late last year. Do you know what this Act is? Do you know how this affects your "Ausome" child? If not, listen as I tell you but also challenge your way of thinking... psst! By the way, you're AUSOME for listening ❤️💙--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Hey Ausome family👋🏾. It's been sometime but I'm back with a fresh and new perspective on love, inclusion, accountability, and empathy! Today, I wanted to start off season two with something that has been on my chest🤬. More and more today on social media, I've seen these support groups losing members because of backlash from its own members, without administration stepping in to acknowledge the wrong and mend the relationships and integrity of the group. Let's chop it up about my thoughts, and as always, your thoughts matter too. You can always email us at Theausomeshow@gmail.com with thoughts, concerns, questions, and topics to cover. And don't forget to log onto www.rvntelevision.com and click on "The Ausome show". --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
New year, new episodes. Blessings beloved and thank you for your continued support. I had to get some issues off of my chest as I see the need for someone who has been through "the fire", needing to prevent others from going through it.

Ok guys, yeah it's a topic that makes no sense, but believe me it will when you hear what I want to tell you from my heart. We have to experience REAL love to give and recieve it. And that starts with removing negative things from our life... so let's chop it up about how I removed this weakness and became stronger to love my Ausome son and family the way a Man should✌💪
