Al Jathiya: 12 / Allah here is informing us of the blessing of sea travel that he gave to us, that is still fundamental to modern life.
Al Jathiya: 11 / Of all the gifts we could give our non-Muslim friends, colleagues and neighbours, da'wah is the greatest for the consequences of denying guidance Allah informs us about in this ayah.
Al Jathiya: 10 / Islam and Muslims are being persecuted all over the world. Here Allah informs us what he has in store for them.
Al Jathiya: 9 / Allah describing those that mock the verses of Allah when they hear it. This may not resonate with us in Britain but what this would also apply to is those that mock the Shariah of Islam and portray it as barbaric, backward and oppressive to women.
Al Jathiya: 7-8 / Though these verses were revealed regarding the idol worshippers of Makkah, it also applies to the atheists of today who deny the clear undeniable signs of the existence of Allah.
Al Jathiya: 6 / Haven't we as born Muslims come to our faith by memorising phrases from a book rather than, as we are instructed by Allah, to come to belief via using our minds and exploring the signs of Allah all around us?
Al Jathiya: 6 / Allah is summarising what he has revealed in the previous 5 ayaat of clear signs of the truth of Islam and what we find is Allah is sending us on a treasure hunt, for the greatest treasure in human history...
Al Jathiya: 5 / Allah is pointing towards 3 phenomena of the natural world as signs of his existence for people of intelligence.
Al Jathiya: 4 / Allah is pointing us to look at the design of our own selves to find signs of his existence.
Al Jathiya: 3 / Allah here is informing us where to look if we want to become firm believers.
Al Jathiya: 37 / In the last verse of the surah Allah draws attention to his might, glory and power over everything in his dominion. What impact does that have in our lives and the situation of our Ummah?
Al Jathiya: 33-35 / Allah speaking about the situation of the disbelievers on the Day of Judgement in the past tense and what impact that has on our actions in the present?

Al Jathiya: 25 / Allah 3zza wa jal refuting the claim of the idolators of Makkah that the only cause of death is the passing of time and enlightening us in this modern age where the cause of death is still undefinable.
Al Jathiya: 23 / Allah highlighting the one who takes his/her desires as gods which they worship.
Al Jathiya: 21-22 / Beautiful ayaat where Allah is rebuking those that think they can get away with their crimes in life and in death and of the infinite justice of Allah.
Surah Al Jathiya: 19-20 / Allah exhorting the beloved Messenger (saw) to follow the shariah and not be swayed by the wrongdoers.
Surah Al Jathiya: 16-18 / Here Allah ta3ala talks about the many favours and bounties he bestowed upon the Children of Israel.
