Elder Rasband charged more members to serve senior missions and spoke on the blessings that would follow. We compared this to challenges each of us are asked to overcome, whether missions, callings, or personal sanctification.

Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke during the Saturday afternoon session of October 2023 general conference about the blessings that come into individuals’ lives as they obey the law of tithing. Kevin and Todd share quotes and discuss the important role tithing plays in sacrifice and sanctification in the Lord’s kingdom.

Elder Bednar expressed his love, admiration and gratitude for Latter-day Saints worldwide and described examples of those who are pressing forward “in the path of their duty.” We expound and share personal stories of instance where doing the small things really mattered in our lives and the lives of those around us.
Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke during the Sunday morning session of October 2023 general conference. He used the parable of the prodigal son to illustrate how God rejoices when His children enter “the road that leads home.” Kevin and Todd review the Parable and Elder Uchtdorf’s take on it.
Todd and Kevin discuss President Ballard’s Testimony and how, when it comes down to it, our testimony of the Living Christ is one of the most important things we have. We also discuss President Ballard’s gratitude for Joseph Smith and the role he played in restoring Gospel truths that we know today.
President Henry B. Eyring, second counselor in the First Presidency, spoke during the Sunday morning session of October 2023 general conference. He spoke about how to qualify for the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. Kevin and Todd talk about the importance of the Holy Ghost in our lives, what to do when we are struggling to feeling it, and ways to magnify feeling that Spirit.
President Oaks brings the heat and shares in a very Oaksian way some Gospel Principles that members of the church needed to hear and be reminded of. Kevin and Todd discuss his message and share insights about how we can ensure we are setting our sights on the Celestial Kingdom and then doing the things we need to ensure we are becoming who we need in order to be comfortable there.
Kevin and Todd attempt to review some crucial wisdom from President Nelson’s years of experience. He shares the importance of intentionally living a Celestial life, with the intention of ending up in the Celestial Kingdom. Doing so elevates our lives and helps to ensure that we are doing all we can to end up where we want to be, relying on the Grace and Atonement of Jesus Christ, after all we can do.
Todd and Kevin discuss President Nelson’s closing remarks. He testifies of the importance of the Holy Ghost in understanding the messages shared. He encourages us to review Holy Week and 3 Nephi. He announced temples and urged us to make Jesus Christ the central focus of our lives.

She testified of the relief found in Jesus Christ and we expand by sharing our own experiences and the need to rely on Him instead of our own merits.
Kevin and Todd review K. Brett Nattress’s story talk from the Saturday evening session of April 2023 general conference. He shared the story of a young man’s journey of repentance and forgiveness and shared how we each can never fall below the loving grace of Jesus’ Atonement.
Todd and Kevin discuss Mark A. Bragg’s talk from the Saturday evening session of April 2023 general conference. Addressing poise, Elder Bragg explained how Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of divine and spiritual poise.
Kevin and Todd have run out of messages from Prophets and Apostles to review, at least from the April 2023 General Conference. We have turned our attention to other Conference talks which stood out to us. In this episode, we cover Vern P. Stanfill, a General Authority Seventy, who spoke during the Sunday afternoon session. He spoke on the difference between perfectionism and being perfected in Christ. We talk a lot about providing an acceptable offering and what that looks like. We also talk about love, feeling fantastic and even about chocolate cake!
Todd and Kevin chat about Ulisses Soares’ talk from the Sunday morning session of April 2023 general conference on Followers of the Prince of Peace. In a world of personal attacks and heated disputes, Elder Soares taught about developing Christlike attributes that promote the Savior’s peace and we share ways in our own lives which helped us to be a little better.

Everywhere Elder Gong goes, he gratefully learns from those who minister and care for others as the Savior would. We share stories and insight into the importance of ministering for ourselves and those we minister to.
Kevin and Todd tackle Elder Dale G. Renlund’s talk from the Saturday afternoon session of April 2023 general conference. By intentionally walking the covenant path — from baptism to the temple and throughout life — one can receive the power to go against the natural worldly flow.
Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles shared a message during the April 2023 General Conference. He detailed the Easter story in 3 Nephi and invited all to consider the Book of Mormon’s witness of the resurrected Christ. Kevin and Todd dissect the talk a little by discussing the differences in Christmas and Easter and the benefits of putting more emphasis on the latter. We can also benefit from a deeper understanding of the doctrines of Christ found in the Book of Mormon.
Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke during the Sunday afternoon session of April 2023 general conference. He spoke on ways the doctrine of Holy Week applies to one’s life. Kevin and Todd discuss discipleship and the role we play in coming unto Christ.
Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles spoke during the Sunday morning session of April 2023 general conference. He used Alma’s phrase in the Book of Mormon — “my mind caught hold upon this thought” — to illustrate what it looks like to focus attention on Christ. Kevin and Todd share thoughts on the talk and the importance of making Christ a priority in our life.

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles encouraged parents to turn to the Lord for strength. Todd and Kevin discussed the critical role that parents play and why it’s so important to be the people we need to be, for our children. We also agreed that inviting Christ into those critical relationships is essential to spiritual growth and development.
President M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, spoke during the Sunday afternoon session of April 2023 general conference. He outlined the things that matter most. Kevin and Todd review this talk and discuss ways we can make the most important things a priority in our lives.
