Lately, with the economy and inflation, along with rising interest rates, buying a home has developed some challenges, however, there are several things you can do prior to buying to alleviate those challenges and make the process very smooth! She is going to share market conditions and tips on securing a mortgage.

Carry a balance on your credit card - False Contrary to popular belief, this does not help your credit in any way. You should never carry a balance (of any amount) on your credit card.

Start saving for your retirement in your 20's - True You start investing in the market at $100 a month, averaging a positive return of 1% a month or 12% a year, compounded monthly over 40 years. Your friend, who is the same age, doesn’t begin investing until 30 years later and invests $1,000 a month for 10 years, also averaging 1% a month or 12% a year, compounded monthly. After 10 years, your friend will have saved up around $230,000. Your retirement account will be a bit over $1.17 million.

You shoud start a business when you are young - True Alternatively, starting a business is a good way to grow your money. In today’s technologically advanced world, it is important for youths to learn to grow a business digitally.

Growth in Downtown Augusta Statistics - 8 New Restaurants have opened downtown in Augusta in the last year. From a wine bar to a new fusion restaurant, the foodie's are rejoicing and the diversity of the restaurants is phenomenal, with affordable pricing.

Apartments/Housing Developments - 6 new residential and mixed use buildings are in the works and will be located in the downtown area providing a significant amount of housing for many living in the area.

Today's Trends:

Several new stores featuring gift shops, clothing boutiques and bookstores have opened, sending the message that downtown Augusta is a great place to open a business!

Customer Centric Approach

Now more than ever, customer interactions can have a decisive impact on loyalty and trust. Consumers are re-evaluating their social, work, and purchasing decisions, which can significantly affect employee and customer retention. In 2021, a Mastercard study revealed that are more likely to buy from brands that demonstrated concern and provided excellent care for customers during the pandemic. A customer-centric approach is vital for growth and customer retention in 2022. But most companies still face significant barriers to become customer-centric

Hometown Happenings:

After two years of missing the Master's, the city of Augusta was excited to welcome spectators both near and far to the Garden City with open arms!!! Everywhere you went, you could feel the excitement in the city that the Tradition unlike any other was back in full force!!! Even though the peach ice cream sandwiches were absent this year, various restaurants took the recipe and made their own version for patrons to enjoy!!! It was so fantastic to be back to "normal" as far as the Master's is concerned and that Augusta once again was able to realize a significant increase to our local economy!!!!

This trend makes sense as women empowerment is an important part of our society in the 21st century and because real estate offers women the opportunity for economic empowerment and career advancement
