Today we’re delighted to be joined by Diane Glover who is the Marketing Manager for the fabulous “Beatles Story” exhibition in Liverpool.
The Beatles Story transports visitors on an incredible immersive journey as it tells the story of how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of fame and fortune from their humble childhood beginnings.
In the exhibition, replicas of the casbah, Mathew Street, Abbey Road Studios and The Cavern, authentically capture the early '60s, allowing you to personally experience the very places that helped make the Beatles the greatest band in the world.
Diane talks us through some of the incredible memorabilia they have on display at the exhibition and tells us the story behind the pieces in this fascinating conversation about Liverpool’s homage to its most famous sons.

Today we’re delighted to be joined once again by Jane McKay who is going to be talking with us all about Shakespeare Distillery in Stratford Upon Avon.
Established in 2015, Shakespeare Distillery is an artisan spirit producer based in Stratford Upon Avon, named after the town’s most famous inhabitant. Proud to live and work in this historical town, they wanted to create something authentic to the area. And, of course they couldn’t distil the bard himself into a bottle so instead they chose to draw inspiration from the Tudor period in which he lived and the characters he created in his plays, and then bring the essence of this into their spirits.
Today they craft a range of premium, handcrafted gins and rums made entirely onsite at the distillery, including the award-winning Stratford Dry and Jester White Rum.
We caught up again with Jane to learn more and find out why Shakespeare Distillery is well worth a visit this year.

Blenheim Palace is a country house and 2,000 acre estate in market town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. It is the seat of the Duke of Marlborough and the only non-royal, non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. One of England’s largest houses, Blenheim Palace was built between 1705 and 1722, and designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1987.
