A single mother, solo entrepreneur and a student talks about going through life parenting while healing from childhood trauma and past relationships. Being a parent is no easy task of being a parent while healing and trying to be your own person at the same time is a roller coaster. Come with me on this journey as I talk about the ups and downs of being a parent with my close friends and family who are also parents. Learn some ways to deal with your mental health and ways to heal while still being able to to show up for your kids.
This journey of healing has been very very long but I can honestly say it's complete. It took me reading the first few chapters of The Four Agreements to finally fully forgive myself for the things I've done that I am not so proud of. I also broke negative agreements that I made for myself and others have made on my behalf. In this episode, I go into detail about what my experience was like and how this can help you and your kids.

In this episode, I discuss a tweet I saw from @Daquandsg about parents forcing their kids to tell them everything instead of allowing them the space to do so. This reminded me of a discussion I had with my mom, aunt, and brothers a few weeks ago.

Have you ever felt like your goals, dreams, or aspirations were belittled as a child? I feel your pain!
In this episode, I express how my goals were belittled as a child and how it caused some trauma. I try my best to encourage my daughter and push her to be the best at everything she wants to do and is currently doing. It's important to do these things with your child so they become fearless and confident.
As always, thank you for taking the time out to listen to my podcast.

It’s tough being a human being as is but when you’re a parent as well things can be even tougher without the right support system.
In this episode, I explain a few things about trauma responses based on an incident that happened with my daughter cracking her phone screen.
This was an impromptu episode. I literally had a mental breakdown before recording this. I address so much in this episode about how I’ve been feeling.
Disclaimer:
This was originally recorded back in October 2021. It took me a while to release this episode because of me being vulnerable. I hope you enjoy and know that you are not alone whether you're a parent or not. I love you!
