Welcome to the Audio Awards. A podcast based in Liverpool. Each episode myself and a guest talk about current affairs, music, movies, what job we want to do when we grow up and more. We also answer questions from our listeners and most importantly - we hand out an Audio Award 🏆This can be anything from a song or a quote, to an idea or a joke. So expect a lot of bad impressions and repeating the same silly stories. We hope you enjoy and tell your friends.

My guest this week is Scott Lyth. Scott is a recovering addict who came on the podcast to talk candidly about his tramadol addiction. It's a fascinating and scary story with a positive ending. We discuss the history of the manor house and grounds, the work that has already been done and what's planned for the future. I hand out an Audio Award which comes with a happy coincidence and John hands his to a well deserving bunch.
Alex runs TikTok account Living Liverpool Tour. We talk local history, a few hidden gems and Alex tells us about the importance of engaging with the past, here on Merseyside. Audio Awards are handed out to a favourite novel and for the appreciation of the absence of sound.
In our first episode me and my mate Gibbo talk Kanye, The Sopranos and reminisce about our favourite English teacher....we also get the boot into 'modern culture'. Audio Awards are handed out to 2 giants of the Rap game, one sadly no longer with us, the other might never return.
