Podcast exploring the beauty of existence

Sometimes when I tell people about my core three policies – free speech, fair borders, full sovereignty – I feel just a little self-conscious, because I know many people hearing them will automatically jump to the suspicion of racism, anti-immigrant ideology and hatred. None of these are nice things at all! Hence the tension. And yet these 3 Fs are the true point of balance that all societies require in order to flourish in justice, kindness, love and peace. The truth is that being genuinely open-minded often involves things that seem ignorant or dangerous suddenly revealing themselves to actually be the very opposite. Of course, this is not always the case, and sometimes the thing in question really is objectively negative. But we must always strive to keep an open mind and an open heart, to hear people out and let their views merge with and dance with our own, to see if there is anything new to learn. The present video is directed to those who may feel my positions seem a bit uncomfortable as if secretly hiding some nefarious far-right xenophobia – I hope that by the end of the 15 minutes you will see my point of view and agree that there really are fair points to be made on both sides of these very divisive political issues of speech, immigration and sovereignty, and I hope beyond winning your support I will also have kindled a brighter awareness of the beauty of facing our triggers and potential blind spots, in giving other views a chance. We are all branches on the one tree of Life, and I love every human and every nation; even if above all I love my own family and my own nation. This is natural :) But let us honour the diversity of genes around the world, and the diversity of thoughts, beliefs and feelings.

To my dear fellow Irish, you have until midnight tonight (11:59pm Tuesday 12th November) to register to vote in the upcoming and EXTREMELY important general election. The state has in the last 5 years trampled all traditions and respect for civil liberties, democracy, the well-being and aspirations of the Irish nation, and our right to sovereign self-governance. It seems there is no bad idea they haven’t already tried to force on us or at least have flirted with, so it behoves us to do our job as free humans and vote them out of power. We needn’t get distracted by whether their insane policies have been motivated by ignorance, corruption, or some mixture of the two – the fact is we’ve been out of balance and this has been a wake-up call for the nation, to rise up to clear consciousness and courage, or fail. Registering to vote is quick and easy and allows you to push back a little bit (potentially a very HUGE push, if enough of us do it) against your fellow citizens who have felt they had the right to force terrible punishing policies on you and me, without consent or empathy. Please: go to https://www.voter.ie (if you are in Dublin) or https://www.checktheregister.ie (for the rest of the country) and register to vote. Then, on Friday 29th, give a vote to all the independents and nationalists who stand by FFF (see https://www.fff.irish) and not a single vote to anyone who doesn’t care to respect Free Speech, Fair Borders, Full Sovereignty. The time is now. Let’s show ourselves, our ‘representatives’, and the world we are alive!

Why are Democrat and Dem-leaning voters choosing Donald Trump in massive numbers? Because Kamala Harris is clearly a puppet of ruthless corporations, intelligence agencies and corrupt bureaucracies which seek profit even at the cost of human liberty and dignity. Meanwhile Trump is more mysterious, now seeming to have learnt his lessons and truly seeking to do right by America and by the world, a force for peace, freedom and justice for all peoples. Yes, it is possible that this too is an act and in fact Trump will ultimately serve the globalist elites, but we don’t know this for sure, and my intuition is Trump is for Love. So I would encourage every American to vote Trump, as this gives Light a fighting chance.

I love people and find beauty in every culture of the world. The vast majority of people are cool, kind, honest and interesting; it’s just the crazy minority which stir up all the trouble. However, that doesn’t mean I want every person in the world to come live in my house, nor to come live in my country. That would be ridiculous. You can have too much of a good thing, and immigration is only good in certain times and places, with local consent. Ireland has an endangered (by colonialism) native language, young people fleeing due to a brutal housing crisis and inflation (money-printing) crisis, and a unique and world-famous culture of hospitality, humour and humility which is being eroded by mass influx of other cultures. Who really wants the whole world to look and live the same? Is that ‘diversity’? Yet so many in the status quo pushing and profiting off mass immigration demonise any who express a democratic difference of opinion as ‘racist’ or ‘far-right’. In truth, one can be pro-immigrant yet anti-immigration. I am! Perhaps in the future immigration to Ireland will be beneficial, but at present it is clearly very damaging; and we can say that with full love and respect to every individual and every foreign culture. We need to shake off the brainwashing and shackles of fear and self-censorship and start talking about the obvious. No culture in the world would want to be flooded by other cultures like Ireland is being. We must end illegal entry, deport any who have broken the law, and legal immigration should be paused or reduced. There will be room for exceptions, but if this beautiful island is to remain ‘Ireland’ in the true sense, it’s imperative that the Irish come first. It’s only fair!

The ‘woke’ in Ireland who call anyone wanting to limit immigration ‘far-right’ and ‘racist’, waving rainbow flags as if afraid we’ll forget they exist, always talking about ‘trans rights’, climate change and protecting the vulnerable from ‘hate speech’ – ironically, these people would in most cases have been Nazis in Nazi Germany, dogmatists in Catholic Ireland, and fundamentalist supporters of the Taliban if they had been raised in Afghanistan. Because the majority of these people, I believe, hold their views not from independent thinking but from conformism, from directly accepting the opinions and claims of others. Sometimes it is from fear (of ostracisation, career-damage, social awkwardness, etc.) but more often it is probably from laziness, simply assuming that the people in government and media must know what’s true, otherwise they would be at a march in Coolock. Either way, these people have shown repeatedly in just the last few years their utter malleability, shifting opinions at the drop of a hat as soon as RTE or BBC say it’s now OK and true. So what would keep them in Hitler’s Germany from falling into the trap of that ideology? Or in any other case of dark culture? Tragically, the people most loudly professing their opposition to racism, sexism, prejudice and ruthless power in general, are the very ones falling for it yet again. But let us hope that pointing things like this out might wake them to join love’s true side.

I doubt it. Or if some of them do, they dishonestly hide it – which might be even worse. But we simply cannot trust any person who pretends to know everything and to always be right. That is the perspective of someone who will be blind to incoming information that could uplift and expand, clarify their models of reality. Ironically, the loudest and most confident people in Irish politics – overwhelmingly the Establishment parties in government and ‘opposition’ – are in fact those we should listen to least. While those who speak seldom and quietly, carefully, due to not being totally sure if they are correct – these are the people most likely to make the necessary adjustments with evidence, logic and experience to have an accurate mental map of reality in terms of what is real and what we should do about it. Yet these people are often cowed and impressed by the confidence of the arrogant and never-self-questioning. Ireland must find a balance between questioning ourselves and ALWAYS keeping an open mind to the possibility that we are mistaken about even things very fundamental and dear to us – and yet on the other hand also committing ourselves to standing on our instincts, to say that for now this is what I’m believing and until further notice I will argue for it without fear. A key transformation in this landscape could be if enough people realise the government are always certain they’re right – they NEVER say ‘maybe’ or ‘I don’t know’ or ‘Our opponents might be right’ – and so they thus disqualify themselves from being taken too seriously. If the middle-ground of Irish voters can realise their self-questioning and uncertainty is a sign that they can be trusted better than the Establishment about what’s what, sanity rises.

Here are a dozen questions I would LOVE to hear Irish politicians asked. Alas it seems one of the requirements of being among those who get to ask the questions is that you don’t go too close to the core things we need to just say plainly in the faces of those so out of whack. If we can ask these simple but hilariously outrageous questions to our ‘representatives’ so busy running the country into the ground, I think it will do us all a world of good. Will we?

Do you do drugs? Don’t answer that! I’ll respect your privacy. And which drugs anyway? Alcohol? Caffeine? Sugar? These all affect the mind enough to be properly called drugs – but they are the drugs modern industrial civilisation endorses, because they amplify its values of productivity, orderliness, political centralisation, cultural conformity and materialism. Other cultures in space and time have chosen different mind-altering substances as their own chemical allies in the pursuit of civilisational purpose, and give them nicer names, like ‘medicine’ or ‘magic potion’. The chief argument of this episode is that if you are not hurting anybody else, then you have the absolute right to put whatever substance you want into your body, free from persecution. Especially since many ‘drugs’ allow one to explore one’s own consciousness and sense of self; and if we can’t have such a freedom, then what freedom do we have at all? So let’s look at the case for why ALL drugs (or at least most) should be legalised and regulated; even those with a greater potential to cause us harm. We must see drug use in perspective as a fundamental human activity that can be good or bad depending on context and intention, and which like all things must be dealt with by education and consciousness, not by Big Brother beating us with a big stick. This is a controversial topic but if we can get this right, our societies will see immediate and exponential benefits, allowing us to flourish beyond anything we’ve come to expect.

Vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, omnivores and carnivores unite! Let us discuss honestly the controversial question of what we should be eating. I offer my views on the pros and cons of each of these diets, in terms of optimising health and ecological flourishing while minimising the suffering of sentient beings. The core theme is that there are many roads up the mountain and we can and should and must learn to engage each other respectfully, accepting our differences and focusing on the common ground upon which we can begin to make practical changes to transform our world into a little bit more of a paradise.

History isn’t over yet. It is not just the past but also the present and the future; the greatest story ever told – ever imaginable – as it is the sum and whole of all stories ever to be. This episode gives a brief (ahem) overview of world history, with a particular focus on Europe and the near East; vital knowledge for anyone who wants to know where they are and where they are going, wants to understand their true context in space and time. We also look at how and why things change in the world, giving history its momentum and flux. We look at the challenges presented by biased and incomplete information and how to approach historical sources so as to see clearly what is true, what is false and what is likely. You will also learn of the staggering revolution taking place in our understanding of the events of ‘prehistory’, and the increasingly strong evidence for a lost civilisation of great advancement, even up to the present day scoffed at by most mainstream historians. Most of all, I hope this episode gives you a sense of your own precious presence as an integral part of the flow of history – and your own power, opportunity and responsibility to be the change you want to see in this wonderful, chaotic, yet divinely ordered Earth in motion.

Awakening is the single most important thing in your life. Truly! For it is to experience the mindblowing lucidity of pure awareness without thinking – which is actually who you are. It goes by many names, can be understood in many ways, and has formed the core of all major religions throughout history, but the essential point to understand is that human beings can ‘wake up’ to a wiser, more peaceful, loving, practically powerful and indeed very humorous sense of self existing hidden in all of us. Enlightenment is real, it is simple and it is easy – though overcoming the belief that it is difficult is indeed far from easy. In this episode we discuss the nature of the true (and false) self, practices for how you too can realise (or remember) your authentic deepest nature, and what this revelation might mean for the world ‘outside’ ourselves. I hope you (or I?) enjoy this one, as only you ever could.

We in the so-called developed world spend so many years in school and yet in adulthood so often wonder why we were never taught fundamental skills and knowledge that could save us much heartache, blood, sweat and tears; the ignored doors to a better life missed. Much of this lost education is simple, practical and even enjoyable, but revolutionary in its potential to uplift human beings to lives of greater clarity, calm, courage, contentment, competence, caring and a whole host of other good things beginning with the letter C. This episode humbly offers these lost treasures for your integration (into your own life or that of your children) as well as discussing the big picture of what education is and just how juicy and enjoyable it can be when done right. We look at the future of education and what a wise school curriculum might include (and exclude), but most important of all is the love of learning for its own sake; the lifelong quest to see more and be more, always growing.

Let’s give it up for Mother Nature! What a gal. She gives us literally everything we have and asks nothing in return – don’t say she doesn’t speak, you’re just not listening! Or maybe you are. Maybe you too are aware just how plentiful are the gifts and opportunities dangled before us like lush fruits of the jungle as we spin through space at stunning speed. In this episode, I discuss the nature of nature (including reasons to think the Earth is literally a sentient entity) and why the prevalent self-hatred of humanity (often justified with reference to ecological abuses and failings of conscience) is but a juvenile cocoon ready to be released as the butterfly of forgiveness when we realise we ARE nature and that Gaia is doing this to herself, through us – and our awakening will also be hers. We are the cause of many terrible crises facing the biosphere but we are also the creatures that make music, poetry and paintings, that tell jokes and fall in love, study nature, play games, build rockets, care for the weak and read children bedtime stories. We must acknowledge and work on our darkness but must also see and celebrate our light, or else we will fail to unify enough to implement the powerful solutions which already exist, needing only mass public awareness to do their magic. We belong here, just as all Earthlings do – we need only find wisdom’s balance. We are Mother Nature’s sons and daughters and it’s time we came home to our senses, to embrace and give gratitude to our beautiful living planet.

P.S. Here’s the poem I couldn’t quite remember during the podcast: “Our Home In The Stars”

Through window skies, crystal clear

should a far, lonesome traveller peer,

everyoung Nature will fill their eyes

in sweet, swaying light, dancing alone

No warmer welcome, no kinder prize,

our home in the stars, our garden stone.

Deep forgotten wells of stardust swell

into her flawless, flourishing flirt;

Love – the flower of life itself,

flowing wild woven clothes for her

She is the laugh and sigh and smile

of the slumbering Oneness, a precious sunlit isle,

and we are her dance amongst the stars,

to bloom and be the dreams we find afar

Tune in as I psychically connect with my twin brother Mark via various hilarious and generally flamboyant esoteric magical practices long ago encoded into our DNA and higher-dimensional astral skeletons. We discuss truth-seeking and the joys of seeing life as a journey of spiritual education; also the ways in which black magic aspersions such as 'conspiracy theorist' are often cast upon those who ask uncomfortable questions, whether it be by an individual seeking to explain away spooky contradictions or by a status quo attempting to defend against public consciousness-expansion; as well as the nature of 'spirituality' and what it means to be authentic, peaceful and as wise as a talking monkey can be! Here cometh shenanigans . . .

In this episode we look at what 'free speech' is and why it is so important. The freedom to say what one wishes (so long as it doesn't violate the non-aggression principle) is the most fundamental of human rights, because it is the mechanism by which all rights are decided. This most precious power is not only enjoyable and useful for collective problem-solving, but even necessary for the survival of civilisation and the sacred homecoming of human enlightenment. Censorship of 'bad ideas' is itself perhaps the worst idea of all; whereas the trust that truth percolates to the top if we allow an open conversation? That's genius.

In this episode I talk about why 'being yourself' is a really good idea! More than a cliché, this is timeless wisdom that will elevate one's existence if taken sillily (or seriously). I discuss the various levels and meanings of 'being yourself' and how I think we can live more joyfully and authentically, connecting with ourselves and others by dropping the masks and sharing our true self (or selves) with the world.

One small step for me, a giant leap for hyperbole! This is my first ever podcast episode and I talk about my reasons for starting this project - and why YOU too could (maybe even should) lean into that glowing golden dream floating about elusively in the back of your mind - or if you don't have a dream, then just to take some humble step toward a life you would prefer to live. I discuss some reasons why we should even bother with starting new things and also do my best to show why we shouldn't believe in the various reasons our minds find to hold us back.

There are 80 million people worldwide who claim some Irish descent, with 3 million being Irish-born emigrants, their children and grandchildren. This group of 3 million are legally recognised Irish citizens and tend to share quite closely the sociocultural norms of Ireland. The majority of these people also left Ireland with great reluctance due to the hardships of various oppressions (imperial, fundamentalist, bureaucratic) and the spiritual and material poverty such pressures engendered in the Irish population. Most left to escape injustice, to find a fairer field over the sea; but except for the born adventurers, these Irish folk left with a sorrowful heart for farewelling the people, places and perspectives of their homeland. In a poetic twist very fitting for the Irish, there is a chance now that these long-lost sons and daughters of Éire may in a way come back over the seas to her aid in an hour of great need. Irish liberty, sovereignty and even ethno-cultural existence are being attacked by forces who have the nerve to claim to be doing it for virtue, justice and enlightened perspective. The Irish diaspora cannot vote in Irish elections (one must be a resident) but our kin across the seas can send in the cavalry with financial support for patriotic candidates and parties, with media campaigns raising awareness in their countries of the plight of the Irish people, and by sharing inspiration and information on social media and Irish radio, offering the clarity of their more distant eye to help Ireland see how the big picture looks zoomed out. It will be much more difficult for the Irish government to slander the diaspora as ‘far-right’ and demonise citizens of foreign countries, and this may encourage resident Irish to stand. If even a tenth of the Gaelic millions abroad decide Ireland is too beautiful to be betrayed again after all we’ve been through, and we put our foot down to declare that this time the Irish will see the end of tyranny and taste the sweet fruit of freedom’s victory . . . imagine! This will happen, if we let it. May the prodigal son return. Céad míle fáilte to the Diaspora!

It’s human nature to look forward and try to master the future, to better our lives. But it is crucial that we balance this with a primary focus on the Now, and in particular on enjoying this present moment as full and enough; to strive ultimately only to be a good person today and let tomorrow be the duty of tomorrow’s self. We think ahead and act diligently, but we ground this is the relaxation and inner peace of knowing that we are where we should be; that in the ultimate sense Life is where it should be, society where it should be. It’s all on the road to Destiny. We can understand it is more about the journey than the destination, and that the purpose of love, truth, justice, peace and freedom is at its heart to express and experience these, even (perhaps necessarily) amidst their opposites. This is how we learn. Such a ‘zen’ perspective is beneficial for our spiritual well-being, but also for the practical achievement of our goals. Today, liberty and national sovereignty dangle by a thread while tyrants hold sharp scissors; more than ever, we must orient our ways wisely to the utmost.

Universal Divine Consciousness:REACH OUT WITH YOUR FEELINGS

We tend to get what we anticipate. Thus it is essential that we devote our hearts to a faith that Love will triumph over illusion, fear, separation, conflict and evil. We need not have evidence of this destiny – in fact that’s what makes it faith in love and something specially precious in the human condition – but merely the understanding that whether we end up winning or losing the battle for Love’s triumph, by believing we will win we thereby gain the ability to give our best and avail of our full potential in making the fight as best we can. I believe by tapping into such faith and trust in Nature and Cosmos, that Love will indeed be victorious over the totalitarian forces currently circling the free peoples of Earth, but even if the cynic is right and we end up losing, at least we will have made a closer fight of it than if we hadn’t believed, and we can be proud of that, as can our ancestors, descendants, and Love itself. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain by simply assuming that we will triumph in the end, and justice will be done. Let’s get to it, doing whatever it takes.

Notice the exclamation marks. This is extremely serious. As serious as it gets. You may or may not have noticed, powerful leaders in the USA and Europe are increasingly beating the drums of war against Russia. This would very likely mean nuclear war, as Russia’s arsenal is greater than America’s and they would not be able to compete in a traditional war. In this episode I do my best to make us remember how beautiful, vital and fragile peace is, and why we must all take a good look in the mirror and ask if we can do more to bring inner peace – this being the fundamental condition for outer peace in the world – and to influence the tide of opinion around us to insisting upon peace among nations. Because America’s pushing for WW3 while pretending to seek peace has naturally seen an increased aggression in Russia’s rhetoric, bringing Earth closer to armageddon than it has been since JFK miraculously resolved the Cuban Missile Crisis back in 1962. We must act. Alongside the Ukraine crisis, we have the crises in Israel-Palestine and potentially Taiwan; these make the need for peace and diplomacy globally all the more urgent to re-establish. Events now have the ability to spiral beyond the point of no return faster than you would find out about it even by Twitter. We absolutely MUST calm things down, if not for our own jaded and often fatalistic selves then for the innocent children who need grownups.

Even if Russia had started the war in Ukraine, nuclear apocalypse would not be justified. Two wrongs don’t make a right, and deleting civilisation only serves injustice to everyone. Even then, if Russia were to blame, diplomacy and compromise would be the answer. But I here explain in detail why in fact it was the USA who began the war; we could say either in 2014 with their overthrow of Ukraine’s democratically elected government, or after the fall of the Berlin Wall, when NATO promised not to move one inch eastward – a promise they then broke, time and again, doing all they could to make Russia into an ‘other’ and enemy. We citizens of the West must have empathy and the ability to question our own narratives in service to peace, and above all we must find the peace and forgiveness within to cool our emotions and reconnect to reason, to love, to humanity – and then act in whatever way we can to steer the course of history away from the rocks of collective psychosis, to love’s light. Meditate. Educate yourself on the conflict (RFK Jr.’s podcast has several episodes on this, as does Dave Smith’s “Part of the Problem” podcast) and share this with everyone you can, from friends and family to colleagues and strangers who might happen to mention Russia. Call or write your democratic representatives and the unelected bureaucrats. Email local journalists and ask them to write stories advocating peace and/or exposing the true history of the Ukraine conflict. Anything you can do, please do it now. Our children thank you.

Dear friends and strangers, I am running for election to Dáil Éireann, and need your help. Freedom, peace and truth are all under increasingly violent assault by those claiming to protect them, and I believe in my bones that I have the character, skills, knowledge, and consciousness to defend them – if enough people like yourself choose to believe in me. My core policies are Free Speech, Fair Borders, and Full Sovereignty. Is that so much to ask? Go to https://www.gaelicawakening.ie to learn more about me and my vision for Ireland.

The status quo is rotten, and has been degenerating for some time, while Ireland has slept. The creeping bureaucracy, Bankster Bailouts, War On Terror, Covid Lockdowns, cultural Marxism of identity politics, WWIII-mongering, Hate Speech Bill, WHO Pandemic Treaty, EU Migration Pact, mass illegal immigration, and the corruption of mainstream media now operating as a propaganda wing of the Irish government – itself looking a lot like a front organisation for the power of transnational corporations and their NGO spinoffs. The whole thing is sordid, deceitful, unhealthy and unsustainable. We need love. We need freedom, peace and truth. We need normal people to sacrifice time, energy and reputation to stand up and step forward to serve this beautiful country – Ireland – marshalling our democratic people power to simply say “enough” to the genuine Far Right which is the divisive and aggressive Dublin government in its marriage to massive corporations and foreign powers like the WEF. Together, united around a clear vision of strong intellectual and moral foundation, the most conscious segment of Irish society can chart a course back to balance, back to centre, where we can dwell happily in Irishry as our ancestors intended.

This campaign will certainly raise awareness and stimulate debate; but if enough like you join me with your passion, we can bring a true force of cleansing reform into Dàil Éireann, where I will be honoured to loudly raise every awkward question career politicians avoid. There are ways to phrase things politely but with incredible directness so that ignoring the question becomes impossible, as it would make the wrongdoer look ridiculous or corrupt, and so they lose their insulation from public awareness and must adjust their expectations.

Longer-term the goal would be to gain the balance of power and enter into coalition with a larger party, requiring adherence to freedom, peace and truth in all matters of governance.

You can help me by becoming a member (for free) of my political party, Gaelic Awakening (https://www.gaelicawakening.ie); by voting for me if you live in the constituency of Dublin Bay North; telling others about me or sharing my podcast and social media posts; donating to my campaign (even the price of a cup of coffee is enough); running in your local area as a Gaelic Awakening candidate; and above all by simply reading the content on my website and thinking through the questions and potential answers our time and place is calling the virtuous to grapple with and overcome, giving ourselves to the cause of Ireland and of love. Complacency, cynicism, despair and fear haven’t worked yet to do anything for humanity and it remains true that only calm and courageous consciousness will bring beauty’s fruit.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr is one of the three major contenders in the US presidential election in November, and I urge you to watch him speak for two minutes and if you are won over (as I am sure 90% of people will be) then reach out to each and every American you know or happen to meet, and ask if they will vote for RFK. This may at times be awkward, but it’s worth it. If Mr. Kennedy wins, so much of our troubles around the world will begin to heal. Incredibly, many Americans are still unaware Kennedy is a strong contender for winning. This is surely intentional, because RFK’s message is a dagger to the heart of US corruption. Hence the corporate media continues to misrepresent him, or else pretend he doesn’t exist. This man has the wisdom, courage, humility, charisma, contacts and incredible work ethic to transform our corrupt corporatized political systems back into the genuine democracies they once were. With the kind of America he is talking about and has the genuine ability to come good on, the whole West will change, and so the planet. This is a huge opportunity! The bright side of America and humanity can be redeemed and reborn, if we believe in it. Excluded from CNN’s recent presidential debate despite meeting their own requirements, RFK broadcast live online at the same time The Real Debate, with an audience, 5 million viewers online, a moderator and a screen showing Trump and Biden debating on CNN. Kennedy gave his answers to the same questions and the difference in level of honesty and vision is jaw-dropping, enlightening and frequently hilarious. I encourage all to watch it and share it on social media or with American friends. This kind of intelligence, empathy, character and consciousness has the capacity to radically improve the world, and our lives. We are at a historical crossroads and must take the path toward the light of love, truth and peace. Tell your Americans about RFK, and let’s get the ball rolling on a global awakening!

Friends! I am running in the local elections on June 7th to win a seat for Howth/Malahide on Fingal County Council. If you live in the area, or you know people who live in the area, please share this video and help me get voted in! I am a person who strives for excellence, integrity and consciousness in all things, so if elected I will devote myself to raising the bar on local government and radically improving the well-being of the communities of Fingal. But beyond this, I seek to gain the position of Councillor so as to boost my voice and help me in my upcoming run for a seat in the Dáil, by adding legitimacy and opening doors to speak to people of influence in my quest to raise awareness and stimulate debate about the elephants in the Dáil: the imperative necessity of free speech, fair borders, full sovereignty. Locally, issues on my radar are: 1) preserving the traditional village feel of Howth, i.e. not turning every other building into a high-rise; 2) empowering locals by actively seeking out locals’ views and ensuring these are heard in the Council chamber; 3) making the transport experience more beautiful and organised (taking pressure off parking and traffic); 4) more supports for mothers (get creative to help boost creche availability, more mothers groups); 5) an awareness-raising campaign in schools to address the entrenched littering epidemic, and organising periodic nature walks to clean up such natural spaces as the Hill of Howth. If any or all of this sounds worth making a reality, please do whatever little or big part you can to get votes beside my name on June 7th! Go raibh míle maith agaibh, gach beannacht!

Migration is a normal part of plant, fungi, animal and human existence; however, in the human world, the flow of large populations between societies is often wrought with peril for one or the other group – or both. Thus it is extremely important that a calm, loving but clear-headed analysis is sought on how to balance immigration with native rights. This podcast looks primarily at the current situation in Ireland – where the government has been pushing mass immigration and allowing mass illegal abuse of the asylum system, against the wishes of the vast democratic majority of the indigenous Irish population. However, this discussion also touches on the fundamental issues and principles of migration in general and what is and is not reasonable and healthy. There can be many benefits to migration – for both the point of emigration and the point of immigration, as I know personally – but equally these can be harmful and even devastating in the wrong context. We owe it to ourselves and indeed to the world at large, that we clarify this matter and come to clear action steps. I believe modest and careful immigration can be a blessing, but uncontrolled mass influx of people is culturally destabilising, in Ireland’s case historically insensitive, economically pressurising, and at the end of the day often unfair to communities on both sides of the equation, as the Brain Drain prevents the poorer countries from growing, while rendering traditional ways of life in the wealthier country in many cases more difficult to be continued. Tune in to hear why I feel a reform of Irish border policy is urgently needed, but with love!

Ireland is beautiful! The grass is always greener and so Australia may seem like the wise move if you are a young Irish person looking around at the mess our government has got us into and the many pressures and limitations one must deal with on the Emerald Isle. However, this island and this nation are precious beyond imagining and in this episode I will offer you my perspective on why Éire is the place to be! Born and raised in Australia to Irish immigrant parents, then ‘reimmigrating’ to Ireland myself as an adult, I personally prefer to live in Ireland and hope to share among the disenchanted Irish an awareness of just how magical and special this country is. Australia is a lovely place and full of potential for a great life, and very likely some Irish people are just better suited to the sunny shores of Down-Under; but I believe the majority of us are instead naturally suited to and in love with our island home in the misty north, full of history, culture, craic, colour and humour. All we need is to nurture and devote ourselves to spiritual, intellectual and political revival and with even a fraction of the population all-in with this quest, Ireland will in a few short years look far more like Australia in the best of ways, but with that home-feeling that those who go to Australia suffer missing. And the truth is Ireland is in a sticky situation, attacked by powerful forces which – for whatever motivation – are seeking to utterly vanquish what made Ireland Ireland and what so many of us feel echoing sweetly in the halls of our souls. I ask any young Irishman or Irishwoman reading this: devote yourself to a life in Éire and in your own way help our soulful island heal and flourish like we haven’t in a millennium. This generation of the Irish have the opportunity to bring our ancestral story to a glorious triumphant crescendo, making all the sufferings and struggles of our forebears worth it. The most meaningful life is in pursuing the good not only of oneself but simultaneously a greater good beyond oneself; so we can have all we dream of and more, by shouldering the burdens of the imperfect Ireland of today and giving our powers to unleashing a spiritual and political revolution that will allow our natural wealth and well-being to flower, and so inspire the whole world. We can follow our mates over to the underside of the planet, or make Ireland so damn deadly that our mates move back with smiles the size of Australia.

Last episode we got into the nature of the sevenfold awakening I am advocating for Éire and by extension for the whole planet; essentially, activating human potential in certain vital aspects which have the beautiful potential to transform the world for the better, one person at a time, starting with oneself. Today I read through the ‘Principles of Purpose’ document which is available at https://www.gaelicawakening.ie and articulates the vision for this movement, one aspect at a time. If you are curious about or inspired by this dream that inspires and captivates me, then Principles of Purpose offers you a detailed, compact, soulful pathway forward which I hope you may be moved to experiment with in your way.

Gaelic Awakening is a new political party contesting the upcoming election in Ireland; but more importantly it is a cultural movement seeking and embodying the realisation of Irish potential in a sevenfold awakening: spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical, political, economic, and cultural. Check out www.gaelicawakening.ie to learn more about this holistic vision for the next stage in Irish destiny; freedom, justice and wellness by expanding heart and mind.

Today’s episode covers the big picture of what myself and Gaelic Awakening, my newly formed political party, seek to bring to Irish politics and society at large. In a nutshell, we need liberty – saoirse. The very thing our ancestors so long laboured and died for is just what is needed to reset our country and by example perhaps help reset Europe, the West, and the whole world. The problem is too much government and the control this allows corporations and the ultra-wealthy to wield over us by using money to gain command of the expanding bureaucracy and its projects. Freedom for the individual brings natural cohesion – cooperation and competition – and the peace and prosperity we all long for. But this political awakening is only one of seven aspects of the awakening to truth and full potential that I dream of for the Irish and for humanity as a whole. Most fundamental of these is spiritual awakening, knowing Oneself; but it also includes emotional, intellectual, physical, economic, and cultural awakening. Our next episode will look at this movement I hope to inspire, beyond mere politics, to help Ireland along the healing road back home.

I am running for elected office! Ireland is in crisis. Europe is in crisis. The West is in crisis. The Earth is in crisis. You might think we deserve this or that it doesn’t matter, but both are wrong – both are untrue and unjust to proclaim. The systems of liberty and limited government upon which you and I have depended for almost every joy we have been graced to experience, are now under extremee pressure from a combination of confusion, incompetence, ideology, corruption and psychopathy. We need not get ourselves worked up and divided over the cause; let us focus on solving. Gaelic Awakening is a new political party in Ireland for whom I will be running for office, to shift the political conversation to the true sources of our sufferings, and hopefully to take power on behalf of awareness, to connect soulful and sane philosophy to the high peaks of politics so that our destinies shall not be wasted upon the unlearnt lessons of yesterday but instead given with consciousness and triumph to our own highest callings – to peace, to love, to living in whatever way one chooses so long as allowing others the same right. Will you help me? Registering (for free!) as a member at www.gaelicawakening.ie will help give me the numbers to officially appear on the ballot papers in the coming elections and so give me a voice to raise issues the status quo have been so long dodging or clouding with lies and omissions. Even if you only agree with me on a few core issues, if you believe in personal liberty you are welcome in Gaelic Awakening and by joining will boost dicussion of these vital issues, so truth can set us free. You can be a member of another party, even vote for them, or you can seek to roll up your sleeves and help me take back our birthright; either way, I gratefully embrace your help. Ireland being my home, I am rising to serve our local awakening to truth and sovereignty, but I am also a human being and extend the hand of friendship to all around the world in search of the same liberty and soul. Wherever you are, I encourage you to stand for truth. Information on the policies and principles of the party is available at gaelicawakening.ie

On one level there are many problems that confront us; some being life and death, torture and freedom. But ultimately there is only one problem: believing that problems exist. For in truth there is only the Now, including those things out of power to change (which the sane simply accept) and those things in our power to change – which the sane carefully but playfully guide and control, modifying and creating, empowered by alignment with life. Yet the plot twist is that even this problem of believing in problems is itself not a problem! It merely is as it is; from the highest perspective, whether you fall for this illusion or not, the universe and your higher self remain always inevitably and invincibly at peace. Amen!

When in doubt, assume you can do it – whatever it is. Happiness and success arise from having the wisdom to ask the question ‘Is this thing within my power?’ and if it is not, then to leave it be and fully accept – even embrace – it. Or if you decide you do indeed have control over the thing in question, then act and wield that power as wisely as you can. Once we are already on a path of action, it is purely beneficial to assume we can do what we aim to, and purely self-destructive to question one’s ability at all. We can keep an eye out for new information that might cause us to change path, but otherwise we must focus on our task and cultivate the belief that we shall achieve our goal. Living like this makes us happier and more successful, which takes pressure off of others, making life easier for all.

Being down to earth is heavenly high! Thankfully a big part of humility is being humble enough to accept that you’re not perfectly humble yet. These things take time, and you are not God! (So to speak.) In all aspects of life, from learning, to leadership, to true kindness, our ability to help ourselves and others depends so deeply upon how well we can keep in mind that we may not know everything and we may not be able to overcome our limits. With this accepted in our hearts, our full potential becomes open to us, to strive our best.

Negative energy is that which shrinks the potential of life for creativity, higher-order complexity, harmonious interconnectedness, and the experience of love, joy and being. Positive energy is that which uplifts, expands, grounds, nourishes and enlivens the living. But there is a time and place for negativity; sometimes it is healthy and even inevitable to feel or express negative emotion, words and actions. Criticising and complaining can be a trap and egoic indulgence in one’s addiction to negativity and its sense of being right; but these can also be done consciously so as to communicate what is fair and so restore order and balance in a system of people or things. Suspicion is more subtle, being the critiquing one explores within oneself as potential grounds for criticism, complaint or resistance. This too is healthy as a response to true danger and injustice – to notice it – but can easily get out of hand. Especially in public communication, we should err on the side of trust, for this will often be jusitified, or sometimes will even be false but paradoxically become true.

Companionship, affection, romance, sex; it can all come from casual connections. But a true long-term relationship offers all this and more: not only in spite of, but also because of the difficulties of adjusting one’s ego and habits to the ways of another wilful individual, living together inevitably means learning and growing together. Not only from inspiration and example but from the necessary patience, negotiation, empathy, kindness and respect that a relationship demands in order to remain happy and nourishing. Where a couple is out of sync, they must determine if the subject of disagreement is merely divergent wants or if it relates to needs; does it relate to the non-negotiable core essence of one’s nature? These we must accept, or else walk away. But where mere wants are concerned, through honest conversation in search of truth, harmony can always be found; and so we grow.

Nihilists argue nothing really matters; there is no right and wrong, no meaning, no love. It is all a grand and pointless illusion, they say. But there are three problems with this. One, they don’t act like they believe it – for they get unhappy if you cause them pain. Two, the costs of nihilism greatly outweigh the benefits to oneself and the world. Three, nihilism is an assumption lacking enough evidence for its claims; it makes no better sense of the data of experience than belief systems professing meaning, love, purpose, goodness and beauty, and in fact a closer look at what we know indicates far more reason to believe Good exists.

Culture is the beliefs and behaviours of a society. What do we think is true or false, and good or bad? How do we convert such thinking into action, habit, custom, etiquette? But one’s own personality is in essence an individual culture, while the family, community, town or city, country, continent and world constitute larger scale cultures. Each person within a culture is unique, yet far more similar to their fellows than those on the outside. Just as it is usually impossible to rank best-to-worst the various personalities in a friend circle, the same is true for cultures at large: we have our intuitions, but mostly these are open-ended experiments in what does and doesn’t work for our survival and flourishing. I contend that absorbing and integrating culture (especially true art) is not only in our self-interest but also a responsibility for any human being wishing to uplift existence. Culture must always be adapting, keeping the wise and letting go off that which no longer serves. You and I can be beautiful servants in this sacred mission, in ways big and small, to help.

Just as individuals in a circle of friends help one another grow by supporting but daring to draw attention to blindspots, cultures at large (families, creeds, cities, countries, regions) too can strike this joyful and enriching balance of being inspired by friends and inspiring in turn, each offering and accepting the gifts of our unique angle on belief and behaviour; and crucially, refraining from judging others as inferior simply by virtue of being different. Some things are clearly right or wrong, but so much is just a matter of personal expression.

Words run the world; they are a powerful agent of change equally able to uplift to the good or pull down to the bad. We can use words wisely to alter our perspective, emotion, habits. But if we are not careful the words we use use us, blindfolding the soul in their concepts and causing us harm. This episode goes into how one can use words as “magic spells” to modify our psychology and thus physiology and behaviour by focusing the mind upon certain words and their associated ideas and feelings; also, how to be practical with one’s use of language when negativity arises; and finally how this connects to spiritual sanity.

“The bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.” Quite. This quote sums up the problem when a system of offices and officers are allowed to rule over society on taxpayer funding, making rules and restriction, providing goods and services, yet never having to face the disciplining justice of liberty via the free market. Our world – particularly the West – has increasingly been struggling under the weight of a most misguided expansion of the state apparatus into the realm of the economy. While at this point in history I agree we need a state to provide laws, courts, police, prisons, military, politicians and bureaucrats, I believe we would be wise to keep them to their rightful role of enforcing the non-aggression principle (be free while letting others be free; so no harm) and come to our collective senses and begin to demand a shrinking of the state with the end goal of either a much lighter government intervention in the economy, or none at all. How simple it’d be to enjoy a society of minimalist bureaucracy! How much do we need?

Tragedy upon tragedy. A brutal stabbing of children today has sparked a massive riot in the city of Dublin, with police being attacked, vehicles burned and shops looted. While the core of this violence and criminality is surely hooliganism and young impoverished people looking for some mayhem and an enemy they can enjoy fighting, equally we would be wise to see that deeper issues have fuelled this riot and indeed Irish politicians must look themselves in the mirror and assess what they can do to begin addressing the underlying reasons for grievance, distrust and anger among the Irish public. This crisis demands all rational observers do their utmost to see as many sides of the story as possible, to come to a place of understanding upon which genuine healing and stability can be built. The truth is Ireland has been treated poorly by its government for a long time, and this played a crucial part in allowing this terrible, inexcusable violence to unfold. Children are wounded and one child is in grave danger; so may we focus on positive thoughts and wishes for them and upon that pure energy lay the groundwork for dialogue, honesty and self-examination.

The biggest crimes by far have always been by governments. Throughout history everywhere and still now in the present moment of our time on Earth, the terrible crimes of dark and unhinged individuals pale in comparison with the atrocities committed by governments equally against their own people as well as against those of other countries. Yet governments find it extremely advantageous to confuse us to this fact, and revel in the ambiguity between state and country; a conflation which is made all the more appealing during times of stress, struggle, conflict and limited attention – such as governments also find extremely advantageous to perpetuate. But we the people must make a radical change, to see our commonality with foreign peoples and to unite in opposition to state overreach. The individuals manning the organs of state must not be despised or made into an other, yet we must reassert sovereignty over these armed bureaucracies which have committed crime after crime until the present day and would seemingly like nothing more than world war and the increasing enslavement of free human beings to the whims of intrusive rulers. So with love, understanding, inner peace and courage – let us not punish whole peoples for the actions of their so-called representatives in power, but unite in a populist wave to wash away corruption and avarice from governments everywhere. This begins with not falling for divisive campaigns for war, nor domestic witch-hunts. Bit by bit, we can unite.

While we can and must agree on certain standards for human behaviour, I feel it is often overlooked how one’s context affects the question of virtue and moral excellence. If you are born into the mafia but do your best to err on the side of kindness within your world, then you seem to be showing greater moral effort than one who is born into a family who value and practise humanitarian, socially conscious existence – if that person fails to ever grow and aspire to be better for the sake of uplifting the world. Such a dynamic reveals itself to us everywhere we look, and by keeping it in mind we may just open the door to a greater empathy, peacefulness, pragmatism and spiritual unity. No one is perfect, so let us not rest on our laurels judging those born in darker times and places, but do our best to be deemed worthy of even those enlightened future humans whose standards we can hope will be far loftier than our own, as life evolves ever higher toward awareness and harmony.

Javier Milei is predicted to win Argentina’s presidential election on October 22nd, and after checking him out I am very impressed with his presence and his principles. His recipe to reverse the staggering economic decline of his nation is to shrink the state and restore its resourcres and power to the people. For liberty is the core and foundation of not only our happiness but also peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, governments all round the world have become ever more controlling and socialist – intervening in our economic life in an attempt (often corrupt, but sometimes genuine) to improve the conditions in society by forcibly reallocating resources. Yet the ideals of socialism are only possible through the mechanism of capitalism – free markets, private property, the non-aggression principle. Classical liberalism, or ‘libertarianism’, sees the state as the protector of these conditions and as a destructive parasite whenever it grows beyond this healthy limit of purpose. Just as with RFK Jr. in the USA, Mr Milei seeks to bring the bureaucracy back into line, which is what we need in all countries. I wish Argentines the best of luck in rediscovering their freedom, prosperity and the pride it rightfully restores. May we all join such a movement!

Life and you and me and even perfection aren’t perfect – but that’s perfect! It’s all perfectly imperfect, the best it can be given that it is what it is. But apart from the mystical heights where all is seen as as it should be (which consciousness propels what is to loftier levels), imperfection also helps us learn and helps us experience the ups and downs of the world. Perfectionism is where we allow our healthy desire for excellence to stray into sickness by deceiving ourselves into thinking a given task deserves further attention when in fact our greater perfection-at-large in life requires us to give up that task and move onto the next. By allowing ourselves a mere 80% perfection in our tasks, we likely get 20% more done; which means our overall performance in life will improve. The jewel in the lotus flower!

Therefore, today I am doing my part to help a man possessed of integrity and wise leadership to win the most powerful office in the world, and so usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, justice and freedom for a troubled world. 19) pardon Julian Assange, release and encourage whistleblowers

20) decriminalise/legalise marijuana and psychedelic medicine

This episode invites us to consider radical possibilities about what might actually be true. It presents several important yet controversial (and to some, far-fetched) ideas about the world which I invite you to reflect on and investigate with a sceptical but open mind. Some I know to be true, others I think are probably true, and still others might possibly be true. I also preamble this with a brief overview of critical thinking skills needed to parse through the many contradictory and opposing views on any given contentious subject. Most of all, my message here is that for most things in life we simply don’t know the ultimate truth, but we can wisely embrace honesty and humility in this matter and so open ourselves to a clearer view which weighs up evidence and is comfortable with a very large “Maybe Pile”. Talking is healthy, so let’s open up the old mind and mouth and get sharing possibilities!

You know the feeling. (Or I guess so.) You don’t know where to go in life; be it the day or the year or from here to the grave. Maybe you don’t even know why or if you really want to do anything at all; can’t find the will to care enough to be logical and proactive. Never fear! Episode 70 is coming to the rescue – or I should say your own curiosity is coming to the rescue of your own apathy, inertia, disorientation. We briefly lay out seven ways to shift things up to get into a new groove and see what the day can offer. Namely: 1) Time Travel; 2) Changeling Swap; 3) Opposite Day; 4) Inspiration; 5) Journalling; 6) Drugs; 7) Socialise.

Sex is essential, blissful, exciting, terrifying, dangerous, healing, downdragging or uplifting depending on the way one approaches it and embodies their sexuality, their sexual being. Much more than mere pleasure, or radical freedom of expression, sexuality touches upon deep issues of social cohesion and even civilisational survival, and so must be carefully balanced in the individual and the collective. Yet at its pinnacle, this primal connection between beings – oneness returning through and amid duality – opens a portal to the love supreme and allows a spiritual practice by which we can accelerate our self-realization. This topic is too deep to capture very much of the essence, but here’s the tip of the iceberg.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is a man of virtue and integrity who I hope to be the next president of the United States of America. Compassionate, intelligent, knowledgeable, diplomatic, humble, empathetic, strong, independent, brave, lighthearted, serious, powerful, open; these words describe him well, yet the corporate press (whose owners stand to lose vast sums of money and societal influence/control should RFK Jr. take office in 2024) paint him as a nutcase, a madman, a fool, a ‘conspiracy theorist’ and a danger to the public. Do you believe this? Perhaps you do, perhaps you don’t, or perhaps this is the first you have heard of this remarkable human being. Whichever it be, I urge you for the sake of our shared future to watch five consecutive unedited minutes of RFK in interview, and you will know the truth. I’m old enough to not jump on political bandwagons too readily, but this is a rare jewel of an opportunity for a true man of character to take power in the West in its hour of need. This is just a short intro and invitation to get interested in RFK, but I hope you enjoy!

Beauty is far deeper than the way a person, object or natural scene meets the eye; at its most heartfelt and profound, it is something like the soul of God, the feeling that takes your breath away when a film takes a perfectly unexpectedly inevitable bend of joy, when the balance and harmony of existence is revealed as reassuringly, undeniably meaningful. Join me as I try to get my head around perhaps the most mysterious of words, and hear why I think beauty might be the ultimate meaning of life – or at least my own journey.

Ah the Devil. Always messin’ out there on the fringes of the mind, of society, of belief. Let’s discuss the meaning of ‘the Devil’ or Lucifer or Satan, from the figurative and mythological to the religious. We will also analyse the claim made by some self-described Satanists that theirs is just another religion, equally worthy to those propounding love. While we’re at it, let’s get some context on why some people believe powerful elites actually practise hellish luciferian blood-sacrifice rituals, as well as the scientific reasons why in theory it may be possible that such a demonic supernatural being could indeed exist. Sure the Devil most likely doesn’t exist beyond being our own darkest impulses – so what are you afraid of?

Some things are easier to do than others; but all things are easier when seen as easy. So long as one is actually doing one’s best to prepare for and perform one’s work in this life, our chances of getting good results are only improved by telling ourselves that, yes, we can do whatever needs to be done. By avoiding unecessary anxiety, doubt and hesitation, the mind is focused upon the task at hand (possibly enhanced by the placebo effect, expecting success) and the body hums with a more benevolent vibration, maximising energy and skill. Whether or not we ultimately get what we want, our belief will have brought it closer.

Today we look in-depth at why we should use cash as much as possible and not consent to the increasingly bold (if subtle and plausible-deniability camouflaged) suggestions by governments and big business to remove cash freedom from the people. In short, the benefits of removing cash are minor and yet the harms of doing so are enormous, and potentially even lethal to the preservation of human rights. We must keep cash alongside digital money and get the best of both worlds. Anyone who insists that cash is outdated is either unaware of the threats we face, or part of the problem. The freedom to use physical money free from Big Brother’s prying eyes is the foundation of our political independence from central authority, and simply makes for a more beautiful life. So take the time once a week to get a wad of cash out of the ATM, and whenever a cashier reaches automatically for the card machine, you can just smile and say “I’ll pay cash.”

All beings deserve to be treated with love, but above all this means not lying to each other; instead we must tell the truth as we see it, so that our fellow soul can thrive free from illusion. Sometimes we may disagree, but so long as one is not directly hurting another, one must be free to express and experience their life as they wish. True diversity means embracing each other’s right to hold opinions which we ourselves don’t believe in. I personally truly believe we are universal consciousness (ungendered) incarnating in a male or female body, so I’d be lying if I said I believed it possible to change gender. So the same logic of love by which I respect a person’s right to feel they’re trans (which I absolutely do) rightly means a trans person should respect my right to believe trans is a state of confusion about identity. For harmony and friendship, we must discuss what we really think; but we must do so with a spirit of kindness and empathy. We are all a bit confused, and all a bit wise. Let’s share it.

These days it’s all too often said that the individual citizen must defer to ‘the experts’; even on matters very intimate and pressing for oneself but for which one lacks ‘formal’ training. Yet nothing in life can be understood separate from its context  (sorry, Reductionism!) and frequently the right answer to a question demands multiple lenses of analysis be applied. So a technocrat might have his ideas about public health, for example, but a street vendor might have life experience qualifying him to best the former man in an argument; say, via long-term observations of human nature, or his personal health regimen, or reading books. Who exactly is the expert when disciplines overlap? Who is an expert on who is an expert? The truth is we must all articulate and advocate our beliefs, but humbly admit that it takes a village to raise a child and a village to figure out just what’s what in life, by talking freely.

No one wants to be smeared and vilified as a ‘conspiracy theorist’ but is it more dangerous to assume that everything is fine on Planet Earth when red flags wave like innocent blood? I argue we DO NOT KNOW if a global coup is taking place at the hands of billionaires and the many power pyramids they control, but we DO KNOW this is a plausible possibility, based on recent events mysteriously overlooked or downplayed in the corporate press. This episode argues that we can find a powerful and wise middle way by ACTING AS IF a global coup is underway, and so marshalling a massive public movement toward restoring individual liberty and addressing crony capitalism, corruption and authoritarianism. If we are wrong and there really is no cabal attempting to take away our freedoms, then at least this movement will have made some improvements to an already safe democratic system. But if we are right, then we will have triumphantly outwitted the greatest evil ever to take aim at the human race – it will be the most monumental achievement of world history. On the other hand if we fear the taboo of questioning the crowd and orthodoxy, waiting idly for some hypothetical complete certainty that will never come, we at best get nothing good and at worst face the most shameful of enslavements of we, our children and grandchildren simply because we would not open our eyes and mouths and start thinking, talking and acting upon the possibility that bad people were quietly working at the highest level to strip us of our birthright so that they could win the most ancient and dark of prizes: world domination. If Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Henry VIII, Montezuma, the Inquisition and Genghis Khan were real and not ‘conspiracy theories’ then why wouldn’t this all be possible now? Something sinister is afoot. We must be careful. Just to be safe, let’s act as if we must act.

P.S. One such way to err on the side of safety is to get out and get involved in such things as the upcoming WeAreReady event which will take place on 20th May this year, all around the world, showing our numbers and unity, the same day as the Bilderberg Group meet to discuss their secret plans for our planet. This episode lays out the arguments you need to know to arm yourself for communication with your family, friends, strangers and public ‘representatives’ on the topic of freedom of speech and the NECESSITY to prevent ‘hate speech’ laws from being passed in the name of love, kindness and equality; but which would in fact feed division, fear, hate and harm. An egregious and horribly anti-human ‘hate speech’ bill has passed the Irish lower house of parliament and is on its way to soon be made law unless enough citizens of Éire (and the world, for the same insidious trend is afoot in many countries) take a clear stand en masse and say NO MEANS NO, to laws that would give the government (and the fallible humans who run it, today and into the future) the ability to imprison citizens, should they merely possess material subjectively deemed ‘hateful’, though the bill never defines what ‘hate’ is. Democracy does not need this law in order to function, but totalitarianism does. Speak up!

Mistakes are inevitable; we are only human, and life is only life. So in order for us to do our best and so meet our destiny to live in utmost harmony with the cosmos, it is paradoxically and ironically necessary for us to embrace and be welcoming of mistakes. By accepting and even ‘befriending’ the fact of our repeated failures, we free up wasted energy from resisting the inevitable and instead channel it into the present moment to uplift our level of skill in whatever task we are engaged in. We become open to feedback and learning from errors. Thus mastery of life requires understanding how helpful mistakes are, and to even seek them out within the realm of doing one’s best, and indeed to see that ultimately there are no flaws in the flow of universal goodness; merely opposites in flux and a damn fine story.

I believe life is actually perfectly fair; yet from a lower perspective it’s true and useful to say that life is in many ways unfair. Bad actions are rewarded, goodness gets punished, tyranny thrives and nobility is suppressed – but in order to properly understand these challenges, and so deal with them wisely and skillfully, it is first necessary to connect to the big picture reality that everything that exists is indeed an inevitable and flawless, integral part of the glorious whole of creation. This is to say that both dark and light, yin and yang, are needed to make a world via the play of opposites; and so even while we should work to grow the love, we must appreciate that there is ultimately nothing to scorn in existence. It just is.

Believe it or not, in the year 2023, some very powerful people think it’d be a great idea for the USA and its allies to engage in mass killing with the Russians and their allies. So let us all wake the hell up, lest the heaven we have slip from our grip. This episode explores what a healthy relationship to fear might be; within ourselves, between ourselves, and in society at large. But we also go deeper and consider the true nature of fearfulness at its core, revealing that in fact you and I, the soul itself, are never afraid, but rather only dream so via identification with a false self in the form of the thinking mind. Awakening sees we were never fearing, but rather fear was an illusion we needed for a while in order for us to grow into our boots.

Conflict is sometimes necessary, but we must strive with all our conscience and power for violence to only be let loose in self-defence; whether individually or collectively. Today I present my thoughts on the connection between inner peace and outer peace, when and why it is morally justified to fight, explore much of the messy in-between areas where one might wonder whether it is our right (or even obligation) to intervene or not, and finally I discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine and provide some backdrop to these terrible events. All of this is done in the hope that I, you, and all our fellow humans may come to a greater awareness of our oneness and interconnectedness, our interdependence, our shared identity; and in transcending ‘us against them’ psychology, to usher in a new era of hope and flourishing. There is so much darkness, division, doubt and disdain floating around the air of 2023 but I firmly believe by cultivating our own peacefulness and inner balance, and by learning to communicate and cooperate fairly with others, the light will prevail.

Honesty is the bedrock of a healthy society and a healthy mind, the means by which we find what is real and what is right; without which individuals and groups cannot flourish. Yet we lie all the time, in ways great and small; only a slim slither of which is justified. Be it for reasons of ethical principle, pragmatic ease of living, or soulful authenticity, the truth shall set us free if only we will stop putting it back in the cage of our ommissions and lies. As the planet enters a critical phase in its journey toward a revolutionary new state of peace, purpose, prosperity and perception – awaiting us the far side of some turbulent times as the edifices of deception crumble under the weight of their own inadvisability – we each and all have the responsibility and above all the opportunity to live honestly.

We all want things: to get this and not to get that. This is one of the most natural things imaginable, being the bedrock of most animal brain structures and behaviour. Of course desire can cause problems if we become attached to outcomes instead of accepting the results of circumstance with grace, or if we seek things which are harmful to ourselves or the collective, breaking the balance and harmony of the ecosystems in which we are embedded – however it is essential that we cultivate our willpower and do not shy away from it for fear of the terrible responsibility of creating reality and carving out our lives. The key is to found our choices upon self-awareness, which will ground us in love and respect for all beings, and to explore and enjoy our freedom in a way that uplifts ourselves and others to higher possibilities, more colourful dreams, and clearer wisdom. We are all unique (ironically), so let us live in our chosen ways and share the music of our desires.

Each and every moment, thing or person can be celebrated – given our attention and appreciation, setting negative aspects aside and allowing the positive to reveal its full glory – and doing so is a skill that can and should be practised for us to live in health, happiness and wisdom. Many of us can stuggle to celebrate ourselves or others and the worthy things we achieve, but focusing on the bright side is essential to keeping balance over the mind. Festivals such as Christmas are formalised celebrations which seek to focus appreciation on certain values by which the society can flourish; like personalities, these vary wildly in their choice of worthy things to embrace as admirable, however to celebrate something is essential to a culture’s preservation and evolution. Christmas in the year 2022 may not be perfect and may have become hostage to unsavoury consumerist interests, but in the sense that it calls for the veneration and embodiment of kindness, generosity, peace, joy and love, I for one will be gladly joining the celebrations – in ways overt and subtle – to lift my own eyes as well as the collective toward a vision of well-being that must be let bloom. Whether you join in or not, may your end-of-year be full of goodness, renewal and life.

Like the mythical orouborus, there are times when ‘kindness’ is in fact unkind; when a stance of softness and allowing becomes harmful and thus, in truth, a form of meanness. The modern West has learnt much from the crueller episodes of world history and come to an appreciation of the value of gentleness, inclusion and respect for the disempowered; however, as is so often the case in life and learning, the mainstream culture is veering too far in this once progressive direction, to the point that we are growing zealously fixated on a narrow and ideologically-constrained definition of kindness, virtue and goodness. We must recognise once again that in fact to be truly kind and good, one must be capable of telling harsh but healing truths, as well as be willing and able to enforce boundaries for the protection of oneself, loved ones, and even the values and institutions harmony rests upon.

Let’s take a look at the very persuasive arguments for why free will is an illusion and in fact our whole lives and the entire universe are as determined as an elaborate wind-up clock. Sadness and loss of drive and direction are normal and even healthy in a balanced life; so long as they arise only now and then, and briefly, then passing on as joys spring up anew. Sometimes such pain may stay longer, due to some great loss; a friend, a lover, a dream. But when the blues is outstaying it’s welcome, settling itself in the house of our hearts for weeks, months and years on end . . . it is not healthy and we call it depression. As someone who has endured and overcome depression in my life, I am offering here some practical tips for how to deal with it. We will look at various mental and physical ‘hacks’ which can be used to get oneself out of the darkness right here and now, as well as lifestyle changes which can reduce the regularity, intensity and duration of bouts of existential gloom, and finally also look at the root of depression, as I see it: psychologically, the traumas we need to learn from in order to release negative emotional baggage; and deeper still, spiritually, to understand the involvement of the ‘ego’ or false self in the perpetuation of suffering, which is also the doorway into permanent peace – once we learn to live by nature’s laws.

Critical thinking is a vital skill which is sadly absent from most people’s schooling. It is the systematic questioning of everything by time-tested tools of logic in order to assess the merits and demerits of any claim a person might make about what is real and what is right. This episode examines the fundamentals of how to think in such a way that one combines open-mindedness with a careful scrutiny of all ideas, no matter their source or emotional colouring – a skill upon which our well-being and happiness depends, individually and collectively. Underpinning such a skilful application of the mind, however, must always be the practice of the art of living in the present moment free of any thinking at all; the core of wisdom being the ability to enter mental silence and observe various thoughts impartially.

The way forward to realising our deepest dreams of social harmony will not be built upon eradicating or scorning money but rather rebalancing our relationships to this vital aspect of our lives. Experience isn’t everything, but it turns out to be quite a lot. Even in the space of a day we can learn so much and come to a place where future opportunities and challenges can be more skilfully navigated, for the lessening of our suffering and the blooming of our hopes. Yet it seems we today are strangely out of touch with this fact, for no longer do the eldest among us command the greatest status and respect in society; instead replaced by the cult of fame, wealth and power. Admittedly, we nowadays seem to have many more elderly and seniors than true elders – much to our detriment – and yet this episode advocates a return to greater appreciation of and consideration for those of us richer in age than in youth.

Is pain, loss, failure and limitation really the enemy? While I agree it’s a wonderful idea to minimise their presence in our lives, it’s also true that much of our suffering can’t and thus shouldn’t be avoided, but rather embraced as if it were what we wanted all along. To go with the flow and offer no resistance to what life gives us, because it’s already happened, inevitable. This is the secret to inner peace, transcending even the most dire suffering. But beyond this, suffering is in fact our benevolent and unfailing teacher, ever forcing us to go deeper and wake up to clearer consciousness in order to right our personal imbalances – every single mistake we make leaving a breadcrumb trail of sorrow and destruction which we can anytime choose to follow back to its source and so learn how to be better versions of ourselves, uplifting our own lives and the whole world toward peace and wisdom.

I suggest the highest expression of fashion is to use our appearance as an amulet to guide our subconscious mind toward the aspirations of the soul, while humbly accepting the rules of any games we wish to join with others expecting a certain style of dress and demeanour. We can have the best of both worlds if we just keep the aim of our image-projection the uplifting of our deepest dreams.

All sensible people will agree that sexism, racism, classism, homophobia and all their ilk are irrational malfunctions of the mind, the unfortunate and very harmful punishing of the innocent individual for things which are out of their control and shouldn’t restrict their freedom to thrive and flourish in the world. But what should we do? This episode explores this question and suggests that cultivating one’s consciousness is the core remedy, but also we can recognise such biases within ourselves before condemning them in others, and see that while we are not responsible for the crimes of those who died before we were born, we can nonetheless take responsibility for dissolving prejudices of all kinds by practising love.

It is a curious and rarely noted fact of history that the Irish, famed for their colourful use of English, actually have their own native tongue – Gaeilge, anglicised as Irish or Gaelic – which is utterly foreign to English and was only two centuries ago still the dominant language in Ireland. Sadly, a long series of tragedies and injustices beset the Irish, bringing Gaeilge to the brink of extinction, such that today it is spoken by only a tiny fraction of the population. Despite some hopeful signs of a mighty rebirth, the situation remains dire. Today’s episode will be of primary interest to the Irish, but all are most welcome to join the rendezvous as we take a look at the past, present and future of Gaeilge, celebrating the beauty of this most precious element of Ireland’s ancestral heritage. We discuss the factors holding the language back from widespread adoption and make the case that Irish in the twenty-first century stands at a crossroads, and the choices of every single Irish soul shall determine its destiny. If we can learn to love our forgotten voice, we just might be reborn.

The idea of having children is nowadays often met with scorn or a belief that one can’t or shouldn’t bring kids into the world; but this episode suggests parenthood is an incredibly underrated opportunity for a depth of fulfilment and self-growth that most people won’t be able to find elsewhere – as well as being a powerful way to support the well-being of Mother Earth, humanity and civilisation. It’s not for everyone and that’s just the way it should be, as it takes all kinds to make a world; but here’s why you might want a family.

The Covid era was and is very divisive, confusing and important to understand. But even if we don’t all agree on the crucial questions, it is beneficial for us all to at least be conscious of the various sides of the arguments. We don’t need to make conclusions; consciousness of the opposing views is in itself already a massive step forward into empathy, restoring social bonds, and getting to the bottom of just what it all means. To that end, this episode hopes to put side by side the most important points of disagreement. At the end of the day, the greatest legacy of Covid shall be its raising of human consciousness.

I once believed in the notion that government should interfere in the economy in order to provide balance and protect the poorer among us from predation by the wealthy, but with time I have come to see many persuasive reasons to think socialism isn’t what it seems. This system in fact hurts the poor and middle classes, contributing to poverty, oligarchy and unsustainable indebtedness where it is allowed to grow unchecked. I provide reasons and examples for the case that, counter-intuitive though it may seem, raw free-market capitalism is actually the kinder force and the source of peace, prosperity and our future. People more expert than I are cited throughout and balance is sought in this complex discussion; for it seems likely some element of socialism will remain, but freedom is king and I argue for a gradual transition away from central planning toward traditional ways.

I discuss the fundamental questions of politics and sovereignty – from how and why we draw the borders of a state, to how much power its government should have at the expense of the freedom of the individual, how we might minimise corruption and oligarchy, and how we might encourage a shared world peace and prosperity – doing my best to provide a balanced assessment of the pros and cons of the major proposed solutions to the seemingly intractable problems of how to organise human societies given our differences of opinion. This is the big picture, intended to help us clarify and reframe politics out of its daily filth.

Wanna know how and why to learn a foreign language? First of all, it’s enormous fun! Learning to express and experience yourself and the world through a new language connects you with others and even yourself in a whole new way. Much like getting tipsy for the first time, this is something you won’t truly understand until you try it for yourself. Acquiring a language also sharpens your mind and expands your imagination, your ability to see things; even through the lens of your own native language, which you’ll now see in a different light. Beyond this, a language is a vessel for and an expression of a unique human culture, a way of being and thinking about what is and what ought to be; so by learning to use a language you are connecting to and embodying an ancient stream of living tradition which can transform your outlook and identity. On top of going through the practical side of what you can do to learn a new language as quickly and easily as possible, I’ll also give you a few tips for how to get out of your own way and feel confident using your new language to interact with others without getting anxious, disheartened or embarrassed. It doesn’t matter if we reach full fluency or not; word by willing word, the magic happens.

Do you believe in the existence of evil? Are some humans so fundamentally corrupt and monstrous that they are beyond hope of redemption, not worthy of forgiveness, unable to love or be loved? If you ask me, Yes and No. The paradoxical key is to understand that on the ultimate level, evil is an illusion. No conscious being acts but out of love. Evil is but a more extreme version of standard contemporary human consciousness, which is a kind of dreamstate in which the soul loses sight of its oneness with life, instead identifying with thought processes – the frequently unreasonable voice in the head –  which create a false “us and them” mentality centred around an individual ego perceived as separate to others. Depending on one’s interpretation of such concepts as “self” and “fairness”, this can either produce your average person, or someone we would call “evil”, willing to exert all their power to use and even destroy others in the pursuit of their so-called self-interest. Keeping in mind this context of love and forgiveness for our troubled brothers and sisters, I explore the evolutionary reasons for the existence of evil, and what we can each do to overcome this force and advance humanity toward the destiny of love and higher consciousness.

Poetry is a most mysterious phenomenon. It is the heart of truth, the soul of emotion, closer to music than storytelling; the meaning of life revealed in rhythm, rhyme, sound and symbol, when words are woven with the loose gaze of the wandering mind. Logic has its rightful place and to some extent is part of every poem, but poetry comes from a unique angle, being the meaning we read between the lines, touching the depths of what we can never quite explain. Life without poetry is a desperate affair, whether one realises it or not. Often overlooked and underrated, many seem to think it’s neither necessary, cool, nor particularly interesting. Guess again, friend! You just haven’t yet found the poetry that sings the song of your soul, but it is out there somewhere – and perhaps in there, within.  Even the most artistically apathetic person can’t help swaying in time to music, rapping along with Eminem as he flows, and falling to their heavenly doom at the hands of a few well-chosen words that illuminate whatever they have been living, or would like to live. This episode will teach you (with live demonstrations!) a few ways to write your own poetry, as only you can – to express your thoughts and feelings in ink and so create a feedback loop of elevated awareness and connection to beauty that will enrich every moment of your life – as well as discussing the profound nature of poetry and sharing some poems which I particularly love. This episode is abstract and practical, like poetry.

P.S. Here’s the poem I couldn’t quite remember during the podcast:

Our Home In The Stars

Through window skies, crystal clear

should a far, lonesome traveller peer,

everyoung Nature will fill their eyes

in sweet, swaying light, dancing alone

No warmer welcome, no kinder prize,

our home in the stars, our garden stone.

Deep forgotten wells of stardust swell

into her flawless, flourishing flirt;

We discuss truth-seeking and the joys of seeing life as a journey of spiritual education; also the ways in which the status quo attempt to defend against public consciousness-expansion via such black magic aspersions as 'conspiracy theorist' to those who ask uncomfortable questions; as well as the nature of 'spirituality' and what it means to be authentic, peaceful and as wise as a talking monkey can be!
