Bitcoin mining and Blockchain have come under a lot of scrutiny and fire for the environmental impact it can cause. The amount of energy that it takes to process a transaction can be the equivalent over 1,700 kWh of electricity, which is almost twice the monthly amount used by the average U.S. home.
However, there are ways to transact in Bitcoin using much less energy. Ocean Falls is a Canadian Company looking to change the image of Bitcoin Mining into one that is environmentally friendly and sustainable.
