Into the Golden Thread
Into the Golden Thread is a perennial and curious approach to exploring and discovering meaningful and actionable subjects through conversation. Dialogue and soliloquy range in topics from metaphysics, health, self-knowledge, thresholds and myth - to science, scientism, religion, and... My intention is a proliferation of the genius within every individual, support in composting elements ready for death or renunciation, the the planting of seeds in mind and heart to grow well in usherance towards coming home to ourselves in communion with greater family.

Today's podcast is Into the Golden Thread's first in-studio conversation and I'm joined by my friend Andrew Gibbens.
Our conversation explores some of how individuation includes all the joys and trappings of being a part of and moving through all sorts of group experiences.
As a lifelong artist, musician, former Hospice Chaplain and local agricultural steward, Andrew's range of experiences and humility continually enrich dialouges exploring creativity, getting to know historical and current influences on the state of our world, and candid sharing of the journey of coming to 'know thyself.'

This episode does some exploring mostly through the lens of a few noteable outspoken commentators: a philosopher, writer, and a psychologist, on what makes Scientism very different from science, and very dangerous when it exists without being called out or discerned as a fundamentalist worldview. Scientism can be viewed as a secular religion, running on blind faith, heralded through a select class of 'experts' that now overflows in to government and corporate statism.
