THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT: Recent Episodes

Heroes Media Group

Join us as WE come together to see the issues and the needs of today’s HEROES, our veterans and first responders. WE will discuss the solutions and see the organizations that are boots on the ground as WE combat the silent, invisible and deadly enemies our HEROES are facing. WE are a grassroots, nonpartisan, nonprofit acting in the Mission to honor, empower and support those who have served. WE are the shock and awe in combating the silent, invisible and deadly enemies of our daily heroes, the First Responders and Veterans. Our goals come on many levels and forms as WE are raising awareness to those who do not know, WE are providing resources to those in need and WE provide the opportunities to those who are still interested in serving and/or have not had or taken the chance to serve before. WE are the beacon of hope for many to change their world through recalibration and rehabilitation. Our goals are to get our HEROES back into their families and communities. Happy Heroes create happy communities.

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 161:  On July 30, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will share some super amazing guests!!  This week we bring you Brandon Watts of Operation Rally Point, and he will be sharing the story behind the operation, and the drive that keep him going. Stop in to see what Operation Rally Point is all about!  We also have the amazingly talented Mr. Derek Stoner.  Derek is passionate about the loss of battle buddies, in fact, his claim is, “It’s A Damn Problem”.  Derek will share some songs that full of life experience and raw emotion. Break The Chains is the first song he shares and it was about trying to figure it all out. You get to a point where you realize everything has changed and you need to break the chains of the past and move forward with your future. The second song is Will To Survive.  This is about going through the struggles of life and all you need to do is find the will to survive. He drew from his military experience in this song and says that you’ve already, hopefully, done the most traumatic thing you’ll do in life. Now you just have to keep your will to survive and life will handle the rest. I like to say all you gotta do is live. The last song that he shares with us is Bad Decisions. He wrote this song with his wife. We all go through that part in life where we’ve strung together some bad decisions. This is about quitting the bad decision-making and moving forward with life. Good choices lead to more good choices. Spotify Link for Derek Stoner is: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3uI24YS8vNA8fysZfb1Y2F?si=USjnDESuQISSlI8cRehj7g The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes.  We will move forward with our boots on and ready to serve those who have served.  WE are here to help alleviate issues that come with mental health so that we can take “It’s A Damn Problem” and fix it at the root. WE are ready to Be a part OF, not apart FROM, and WE will conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people.  Our guests inspire our listeners to continue the mission they need to better themselves every day and to move forward in helping, supporting and empowering those who are still with us and remembering those who are not. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 160: On July 23, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will share a musician new to the gang. This week we welcome James Adrian - and he will share his story and music with us. James would consider himself as a guy who was “just fixing trucks” when referring to his military experience. We all know that just fixing trucks is an actual big deal in our world. James will share 3 of his current songs with us, and tell the story behind each one of them. He starts out with a song titled Wings. There was a line in the song that says, “I don’t know what this is supposed to mean, I just hope it fixes broken dreams” and I absolutely love that. Sometimes, you don’t have to know the end game to produce the product. Whoever it’s meant for will get it. His second song was called Worse and it was written for his father and dedicated to him, as well. The vocalist in the song is Miss Catherine Grace. Unfortunately, his father passed before he got the chance to hear it. May he Rest In Peace, Mr. Michael Miller. There was a line in this song that talked about teaching your kids so that they don’t have to walk a mile in your shoes and that hit home for me. His last song of the night was called Nothing and it was about losing so many of your friends and family that there’s no more emotion attached to it. You feel nothing. James said he wanted to tell a story in his lyrics and his lyrics definitely do that. James’ music can be found at the following links: www.standpointmusic.com https://www.instagram.com/standpointmusic/

We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will discuss a lot about life, but the best is the agreement to Ride the Highs of Life. This episode features an exciting guest as we visit with veteran and musician Blake Luquette, who was brought on board by our very own Jonathan (Bourbon Battle Buddies) “J-Train” Crochet. Blake hails from the area of southern Louisiana and has stories to tell and love to share. His music is born of his life experiences, but not all relate to his service. Blake starts us out with the song, ‘Whoever Made Those Rules’ and then shares ‘Pour the Hurt On’. Blake finishes the night out by sharing his song called ‘Country Song’. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 158: This episode features the amazing two guests of Brian Romans and his Romans Warrior Foundation, along with our good friend, Gabriel Wren, with Trinity Productions and Chair 55. We will learn about the Roman Warrior Foundation and the mission they are carrying out. There are many angles to Brian and his story and his team, and there are no disappointments here! Hey - if you don’t know where Brian comes from, then you don’t know where he is going.  Brian brings the GWOT - Global War on Terror - around the country to show tribute and support for those who have given or lost their lives to the protection of our country and our communities.

Gabriel brings in some of his dry humor, his intelligence and his supreme musical abilities, and shares some new music and an old favorite.  He never disappoints, and this interview is not disappointing. Gabe loves the old, the real, country music and he shares his passion on the show. Give Me Back My Country was a song he got to put a video together for J. P Godfrey. It’s a great song about how we need to get back to what the Founding Fathers intended for this country. Next we asked Gabe to play his best song and he chose Ain’t No Looking Back which is a song that he co-wrote with Dave Gibson of the Gibson/Miller Band. Lastly, Gabe chose a song from the archives of a country music legend in Mr. Hank Williams Sr. Lost Highway was the final song of the night and Gabe said that he loved classic country music because.  He shares a little of his belief from his training and life lessons:  “If you don’t know where music came from, you don’t know where it's going.”

On July 16, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature exciting guests with comedian Rodney Douglas Norman and musician Blake Luquette.

Keep in mind that you can learn a lot by paying attention to the foundations of life:  If you don’t know where it comes from, then you don’t know where it is going. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 157: This show features the amazing Lo Becker.  He tells the story of his service and how it lead to his music career.  He is a fun storyteller and a truly genuine person.  After sharing his beginnings, Lo starts us out with a song that is going up to Brian - “Do it Again”.  This one will get you thinking about choices you make and how they affect others.  After more banter and conversation, Lo shares that he was also a correctional officer, and that makes him fit our full mission for veterans and first responders. The next song that Lo shares is the first song that he wrote- “Thank ‘Em”. He was reflecting on vets and his friends and how his life has gone when he wrote this one.  Lo finished up with the last song, “Riding High”, which is an exceptionally positive song. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 156: When you just remember why you have that right to listen to what you want to hear, please think of us, The People’s Patriot Project, on We Got Your 6@6.  This week’s show has an incredible message, and most of it starts with loving what you did or what you can do for your country.  Our night starts off with awesome discussions between our guests and the three of us. Jamie Bunetto, who was in the Marines, and loved his service so much that he went back in after 911, when he thought he was done.  Jamie shares about his service and what he is up to now, living near Dallas and moving into a new world of investigations.    Rick Brown is our music guest today and we are excited to learn more about him. He was in the Navy - and wanted to be on the ground and working on SEAL things. He got to travel to places most of us don’t even dream about. He has been able to follow his music desires, and shares not only the songs, but the stories behind them. Listen to “Take Me Back to Texas”, “Long Necks and Honky Tonk Angels”, and “Drinking Man Blues”. Rick is very passionate about what he did and accomplished in the service, and he wants everyone to just remember why you have that right.

On July 2, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature an exciting guest Michael John and musician, Lo Becker.

On 18 June, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime shares some very special guests. We need to have a Calling all Fathers moment to thank all those dad out there doing their deal! We have Mr. Scott McEwen starting us out. Scott answers some very deep questions about his relationship with Chris Kyle.  They were friends and coworkers before they dreamed of putting “Amerian Sniper” into words to fill a novel. Scott was able to share how deeply affected he was by Chris’s life, and how he worked through so much to come back home. The best part is that he does not focus on his role or how important Chris Kyle was, but instead he focus’ on the importance of the ‘band of brothers and sisters’ are in the military and especially in the face of the enemy.

Our music for the evening was presented by Jamey and Rebecca Bagwell. The Bagwells are newlyweds, and have a talent for writing and singing that has bonded them in so many ways. The connection has brought them to a new house that will have a space to entertain their talents and those of others. They will have a grand opening in July to share all of their ideas and other veteran music and comedy.  They are definitely a couple to keep an eye on!

The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. Tonight we are Calling all Fathers who have instilled the love of USA in their children, so much so that their children have signed the line for duty. WE are ready to Be a part OF, not apart FROM and conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people. WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. It’s about those who served, and we are here now to serve them. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 154: On 11 June, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime shares some very special guests. After an “alleged” cancellation, we hop on with our new friend, Brandon Johnston, OFP Comedia, who will charm you with his antics. I made an announcement that there might be someone special dropping in later, and that special guest actually became our scheduled guest, Jason Steiner, will Piggy Back on That to share his upcoming event, HEROSTOCK. Listen in while we banter with our guests and share stories of the truths of those who have served and continue to do so with their nonprofit organizations and their talents.

After some silliness and seriousness, WeP3 shared music from two of our former guests. Cody Howell starts us off with his awesome song, Saddle Up. This is a song that will make you think, while you can sit back and enjoy the music.   The next song is from another fairly new friend, JayP, and he shares his “Ride Into the Sun” release, which really shows his versatility with music and his voice.   To Piggy Back on That, Lake and Lyndale’s song, Long Way Home, is our finisher. We loved having them on the show, and their music rocks!!!

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 153:  On 04 June, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime shares some very special guests. Michael Madsen with Foxhole Internet Radio is here to inform and entertain. Michael is here to let you know about the world of internet radio and how it will work for our veteran and first responder musicians and bands. Michael is aggressively changing the world one radio station at a time. There is no such thing as Not Just Any Old Replacement in his world.

After some discussion about AI and WeP3 Radio, we dive into our music for the show. We last-minute had asked Tim Newton to come on in and share his new music and talk about what is in his near future for the band. Luckily, because they are Not Just Any Old Replacements, he was able to bring along some band members. Justin Silkwood and Derek Dankenbring joined the group and we talked about old times with fun and new times in the plans. Tim explained Man in Nashville, the first song we listened to, as describing the way he felt when he was putting his music out there.  He said he felt as if most music sounds the same right now and he just wanted to do his thing and be different from everyone else. Be yourself and just be good at being that. Missouri Throwdown is next and this song was him showcasing what he felt like they were all about in Missouri.  Country Girl is a brand new release from the Tim Newton Band and it is a good one! If you want to go and check out the Tim Newton Band, you can find all their info by clicking this link:  linktr.ee/timnewtonofficial

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 127:  WE have some friends that we met down in Nashville this last time!  Jacob Hale, our friend from the Timothy Newton Band, brought some friends on the show with him, and it was a very endearing conversation.  Tammy Folvarcik and her daughter, LaShaya, came to share how they lost Jer Bear (husband and father) to the demons that are out there trying to control the minds of our First Responders who have faced trauma and lost the match. These are some tough conversations, but they are conversations that need to be had, even though “nothing comes easy”.  It is a consensus that the only way we can keep this from happening is to put it on the table and try hard to fix it.

This week brought music from another connection in Nashville. JayP joined us at The Bold Patriot and impressed us all.  He has a refined voice and his songs are very touching. JayP is also a veteran, and he is here to share the stories of his life as well.  JayP learned early in life that “nothing comes easy”, and he is willing to work for everything he can.  His music is amazing, and his drive and desire will keep pushing him forward.

The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes.  We are here with our guests who have used their inner strength when it seems  “Nothing Comes Easy”.  Our guests have been inspired to  move forward and help support and empower those who are still with us and remember those who are not.  If you want to be involved in helping and paying it forward, please get in touch with us and we will find a place for you.  #communityheroes   #NeverForget   #PatriotPride   WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 126:  WE have some new blood in our lineup today!  WE will start out with Mr. James Stokes, who is more well-known to you as none other than Jason Vorhees from our favorite scary movie:  Friday the 13th. James has some experience with people and hard work, having been a Marine, firefighter, EMT and a paramedic, and then transitioning to an actor.  If that is not enough, his real passion lies with interacting with youth and talking to them about antibullying and anti-suicide messages. He works through the million other options in life, starting with Choices, Changes and Chance, and the interacting factors brought on by each step. WE are hoping to have much more conversation with James in the near future.

Our musician this week actually was the catalyst for having James join us!  Dawn Rix has been very busy traveling, attending events and accepting awards. This is the result, of course, of her Choices, Changes and Chance on her life path. Dawn is a strong and hard-working person who has earned every one of her awards.  With a passion for helping others, she uses her music and her person skills to spread positivity in all her travels and relationships.

The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes.  We are here with our guests who have used their “Choices, Changes and Chance” to move forward and help support and empower those who are still with us and remember those who are not.  If you want to be involved in helping and paying it forward, please get in touch with us and we will find a place for you.  #communityheroes   #NeverForget   #PatriotPride   WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 125:  WE have some new blood in our lineup today!  WE will start out with Brian “Big Country” Conwell and his story of Battling Adversity, and how he uses his health, his ambition, and his desire to be a better person to push people to be their best person. Brian has been through the fire with losing a leg, and while he thought he might just be done with it all, he decided he would give it another chance. He has a big message and he wants to share his passion for his “new” life.

Our musician this week comes to us from the Nashville area again. It has been a pleasant time getting to know Kevin Palmer and hearing how he has found how music can be a gentle push into healing if we let it. It has been a story of personal healing and a road to understanding and helping his son.  Battling Adversity has become a healthy challenge for Kevin and he has leaned on music and the memory of his father to push him forward with that healing.

The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes.  We are here with our guests who are “Battling Adversity” that help support and empower those who are still with us and remember those who are not.  If you want to be involved in helping and paying it forward, please get in touch with us and we will find a place for you.  #communityheroes   #NeverForget   #PatriotPride   WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 118:  This episode will not disappoint.  We have special guest Mike Zannitto joining us with EMT Cop, Peace Keepers for Life, and Love Hope Ranch.   Mike is so amazingly in touch with the trauma and PTSD that is the plague of our first responders and our military and his desire is to make a change with the way things are being handled.  We discuss the stress of keeping your thoughts and issues to yourself and going to your job every day and pretending that everything is just fine. It isn’t healthy and it isn’t the right way. Mike is a firm believer in keeping these issues much more acceptable in these professions.

We are also graced with music from some of our favorites… we shared music from Sal Gonzelas and his song Heroes Aren’t the Ones Who Came Home and we added a little more lighter music with Chris Turner’s Take You Out (Waffle House). The concept of Love Hope Ranch will grow quickly and WeP3 will enjoy bringing help and support to the world with musicians to this program. It is another way we will be able to reach more with our community heroes!

Please join us on the 9th for our show!  We will have John Engfer with Warrior’s Path to share in his mission with the program. He is so full of energy and enthusiasm - you won’t believe it!

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 112:  In this week’s episode we spend time chatting with none other than American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones. WE met Scott on a support trip to Georgia, and both of us landed at the same place. Scott’s mission is to help injured service members re-adjust to civilian life through job training. American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones as we ask, “Why Not?”.  The question was spurred by the conversation between Dan and Scott, and they decided that was the theme for the night! Scott has also implemented a program of Pay it Forward where he puts together a ‘dream vehicle’ for injured service members. Make sure you check out the website for American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones at https://www.americanwarriorgarage.org/ to see the amazing things they have done to support those who deserve the best.

Our music portion tonight was a mix of some of the best! We did a little review of the weekend event in Granite Falls, MN, with the Ride to Remember crew. The weekend started with breakfast and a presentation that included the introduction of Shannon Book, who then shared his soul-touching song, “You Are Not Alone”. Kickstands went up at 11:00 and the ride was a success!  The day ended with dinner and more music from Scotty Hasting, Deliberately Broken and JT Thompson. WE will continue to share parts of the day, but the entire six hours of entertainment can be watched on Facebook at:  https://www.facebook.com/patriotproject2018/videos/1093973031514151 . Michelle has a heart of gold and it’s as big as Texas. Michele is very busy all the time, as she leads the National Veteran Resources, and the nonprofit, Mothers of Veteran Suicide. Her mission is to support those mothers who have lost sons or daughters to suicide after having served our country. She was able to not only share stories of meetings and people, but she gave us a very detailed description of how these meetings work and what they do for people.  Come and listen to Michelle share her experiences, knowledge and compassion with those mothers who have lost their veteran children to suicide.

Our intent was to have Alyssa Ruffin join us tonight in person, but technical difficulties kept us from getting her live on the show. We were very excited to share her National Anthem at the beginning, however, as we opened this week’s show, Mothers of Veteran Suicide.

Episode 102 brings the Patriots and Heroes to the front of our talk. On tonight’s show of We Got Your 6@6, we talk with Mr. Kenny Lee of Kenny Lee Productions. He will share his passion for supporting our country's traditions and patriotism, and how he puts those elements together. He has had many service people in his family, including his father, who suffered the silent enemy of PTSD.  Through his music, songwriting and production talents, Kenny Lee has created and sponsered many events that show just how much he loves the Patriots and Heroes of our country, past and present, and especially those who fought for our freedoms.

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome Aaron Quinonez of Operation Pop Smoke! He is the Sr. Executive Director of Operation Pop Smoke, and the owner of Reliable Commercial Cleaning and founder of the veteran non profit Q Missions.  Aaron shares the story of how he wanted to make a difference, and how it is not the way of struggling military and former military and first responders to ask for help. He has created this program as a first defense for fighting the thoughts of suicide, and even preventing those thoughts from surfacing. This uses a ‘community’ or team- type approach and is really an awesome way to keep people together and safe. Andrea and Mark are hoping to keep connected to Aaron and in the future maybe we can also say #ProblemSolved.

We were also gifted with the presence of our new friend, veteran and musician who is honestly down-home and #straightfromtheRanch - CJ Garton! He is a 6th generation rancher from the amazing state of Oklahoma. He is the true gentleman who has the charmer voice and music. CJ has many songs that are reflections of his military life and those he has lost to the deadly enemy of suicide. A man of amazing words, he said “....the lost, not to the War, but to the Aftermath.” He would like to help and heal, and claims, “...that is God’s gift to us.”

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome back Johnny Cole Murdock to the show!  He brings his musical talents, with some new songs. You can hear them on all platforms… Spotify and IHeart radio.  Johnny’s experience in the military has some support in his songs, but ultimately it helps him use his talents to help others. We love him!

We were also gifted with the presence of a few of our other friends, including Bobby Withrow from Texas Fallen.  WE heard how is working day and night to make sure those affected by tornadoes in Texas have food and care. He is one busy man, and we love to support him. He is definitely a #communityheroes type of person. Bobby knows how to use the #ShockandAwe when taking care of his people. We will stay tuned and keep you up on what he has going.

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome all-star guest, Chef Bryan Jacobs. Bryan is a former Army corpsman, and is now a chef extraordinaire, who will share his story about how he got to the place he is now. Wanting to use his talent to help other veterans brought him to the pinnacle of the food industry. Bryan has some new ideas and fresh videos coming out soon. In order to share his #ThreeSuccesses Bryan shared his military experience, which led him to a little down and out. We all know that it is difficult to come home and adjust to the ‘civilian’ life, and Bryan helps us understand that maybe we don’t have to just accept, but instead use our talents and follow our dreams to find our place in the world.

Along with Bryan, we had the band, Three Beards come in and entertain us with their music.  WE welcome a new friend - Hank Barbe and the band, Three Beards. This is a bit different than our main music, they are a rock band. This would be #2 of #ThreeSuccesses. Please give them a listen, as we think you will enjoy their sound! Hank and Bryan found they had a strong connection, as they both lost brothers to suicide after serving their country. This common point was one of the darkest times of both of their lives. It was also where each realized they were still here to make a difference in the world.  There may be more in the future for these two strong veterans to meet and hang out. It works out great, Hank loves food and Bryan is a chef.

The third of #ThreeSuccesses:  Andrea enjoyed a new experience this last weekend…. She got to be a judge in a chili cookoff. While being worried about having some hot chili to deal with, and then remembering that she was not in Texas, she soon discovered that it was an amazingly fun experience.

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome all-star guest, Greg Pihs and his training with Mindset Academy. He will guide us through the process he leads and share with us the intricate patterns of our minds. Why do we hold onto some of the worst parts of our life?  He shows us that we don’t have to continue to be defined by what happened to us, but instead use that as a building block to who we want to be.  You can reach Greg on Facebook, or by his email: greg@gregpihs.com.

Along with Greg, we had Kim Donnette and her band return to share and entertain us with some new music, and of course one of our forever favorites, Come Home. #KimDonnetteBand is in our hearts and minds with so many lessons of not only how service is for those who serve, but how hard it is to be the one that wants to help and heal those same heroes who are suffering. At the end of the day, we can only show them our love!

This week's show brings us Fred Lewis from the exciting show, Gold Rush. If you didn’t know, Fred is a veteran, and part of his veteran training is what helped him get on the show. He is also able to use some of his proceeds and profits to continue to help other veterans. He has a heart so big and a desire and drive that will keep him moving forward and doing good thanks. Can’t wait to hear more about his next venture! #ThePeoplesPatriotProject is looking forward to being able to enjoy the show, and maybe be involved with the next veteran recognition event.

David Chamberlain, also a veteran and a first responder, brings us some amazing music tonight. He shares with us a very personal song, “Freedom Don’t Come Free”.  As he shares the background on that song, you will find yourself wanting to hear more. There is no way for the civilian to understand the real horrors of war, and DC is well aware of this.  His next song, “Cowboy Up”, is absolutely nothing less than amazing and entertaining and also comes with a message about not giving up and getting back in there. You will hear this last song from David, “She Ain’t Rich but She Can Rock a Feller”. I guess there’s some background on this one but you might just have to listen to see where that storyline goes.

He entertains us with some of his best poems and helps us understand the depth of healing that comes with pouring your soul into the words that come from the heart.

Jenn Ford jumped in with us to play a couple songs that she wrote and performed… and she just never leaves without amazement behind.  Jenn never fails to entertain, and we find ourselves falling in love with her dynamic personality as much as her music.  We got to hear the background story of how, why and when she wrote these songs, and then that voice!!!  Oh yeah!

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome back a near and dear friend in Shannon Book. Shannon was first introduced to us as a southern rock, hard rock mixture of a musician, who mixes life experience with his military experience to create, play and sing incredible mixes including I Need to Breathe, Not Alone and Dear Mom.  Shannon shares his passion for songwriting and gives us the story background of the songs we played tonight. His story is not pretty and some of it will pull the heart strings, but the message is amazing!

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome Dr. Tania Glenn and Old 81 Band.  Tania has so much experience and passion for what she does!  Why does she do it?  Because she was born for this!  Tania comes to us from Texas, but her reach is around the country. She has worked with first responders, military and many levels of trauma-related incidences.  Most recetly she helped support a flight EMT that had to deal with making the decision to do a double amputation. That is a level of decision that many of us will never even imagine, much less live through!

Along with Dr. Glenn, we had some very special music. Our friend, Ryan Helm, brought his friends, Old 81 Band in with him tonight.  Ryan was on our show once before, and now he will continue his music journey with this group of awesome musicians. They entertain us with stories of creation and two of their more recent songs:  Austin and Branded.  Branded is a song that came with the personal experience with a friend whose husband came back from Fallujah with severe PTSD, and watching from the sidelines is not fun or easy. We love our new Old 81 Band! Come in for a listen and see for yourselves!

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea welcome Chris Tice of Eagle Fire Enrichment to share his message. The music side is covered by visiting with Adam Berry, who Mark and Andrea watched live in Fort Worth, TX this summer.

Chris Tice and his Eagle Fire Enrichment were here to share the message of leadership and positivity. His goal is to guide other leaders to be better than him. He lives on the idea that how we communicate with others is how we communicate within ourselves. Much of his work and message centers around positive actions and hope. Influence and impact equals INSPIRATION, and inspiration makes us keep reaching for better.  As we do better, so do the people around us.

Adam Berry comes to us from the heart of Texas, with his original songs. Adam has always had a soft spot for civil service men and women. He wants to give back.  He claims to have put Denny's spin on the song “Boots on the Ground”, and he donates 100% of the proceeds to Denny’s mission OPVeteran.  Denny Katona stepped in for a short time to shoot the chit with Adam, something about a butt chin.  Denny also took some time to promote his OP VetFest that is coming up in October. Adam performed his song, “Close Enough” and thanked everyone for listening.

The People’s Patriot Project has some events coming up. Mark and Andrea just got back from Georgia where they supported Adam and Matt with Feeding the Heroes, and spent time with Bobby Henline and 9 other nonprofits that help veterans and first responders.  In October, they will host veteran and first responder musicians in the Twin Cities… they will play together on Friday night, the 22nd, at a fundraising event for a local LEO whose house recently burned down, and on Saturday, the 23rd, they will share their talents throughout the day with the Ruckers and Cornholers!

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea focus on six of their past guest musicians.  This is a celebration as well as a preview of the upcoming weekend in Minnesota for these musicians that are also veterans. Mark and Andrea will discuss the interviews and aspects of the veterans when they were guests on the show previously, and then they will showcase some of their music. There will be new and old music, and some brand new releases will be shared. We will start showcasing the ones who make the difference. We make sure they show their mission. All of these artists will be present at the fundraiser for a local LEO on Friday the 22nd, and they will take part in, as well as perform at, the Ruck event on October 23rd.

The first musician to share is Doug Lane with his new song “22 Brothers”. This is a touching and heart-tugging song, and many will relate to the message.

Next up is Jenn Ford with The Wild Eyed Devils, playing the song “Hurricane”.  This is extra special because Jenn is the first female artist to cover this song.

Following this we featured Steven John with “Southern Attic”. Mark shared that “Steven’s songs sing to my heart, he is an all American Boy. I am not even from the south and I think of the past when I hear these songs.”

Right after is Dom Cours with his amazing “Roll On”.  On the live video it shows all the instruments, which Dom made!  You don’t want to miss these!!!

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea focus on other groups that have the same ideas in their mission as The People’s Patriot Project. There is a big focus on the September 11 events and memories shared. We began our live show with a video memorial to the music from Disturbed called “Sound of Silence”.  We also enjoy the music of Elliot Mackenzie and his “Star-Spangled Banner”.

Our guest this week is Heather Clark, Founder of ‘Merica Flex and Host of her very own podcast called “If you Drink”.  We have crossed Heather’s path often in the past. She and Mark share their Wyoming backgrounds and a passion for helping veterans and first responders. Heather started doing yoga herself. Medication was not working so she started doing yoga. It got her off the medication. She started looking at a private business until COVID. She also used her trauma experience in her Yoga. She takes others to the field, takes them through a mission, and completes that mission. All of this is shared to help get them through some traumas they are facing.

Our music for the evening will be provided by JT Stubbs, an All-American Patriot and loving supporter of first responders and veterans, the heroes of our country.  JT shares his message of awareness of PTSD and suicide plaguing our first responders and veterans, and calls all to stand up and support and respect the job that they do.

A big group of local People’s Patriot members did a little security duty for the Sara Evans Concert in Hastings MN.  It was a long day, but the camaraderie was amazing! There was another event in Leon, Kansas, that will be attached to WeP3, which is the “For the Fallen Music Festival” on September 11.  The People’s Patriot Project has some events coming up. In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea focus on other groups that have the same ideas in their mission as The People’s Patriot Project. It is almost eerie when the founders of each group hear the same message and phrases that each uses.

Our guest this week is Jeremy Parkins of Dress, Right, Dress, Inc.  Jeremy was referred for the show by Derrick Iozzio, from Catch22.  Jeremy has post 9-11 experience in the Air Force, and has come to find that many veterans struggle to find the type of connections they had while they were in the service. “When you leave the military you lose that purpose.” The focus of his  foundation was solidified when he found that the demons were causing many veterans to lose their purpose, which leads to homelessness, alcohol abuse, substance abuse and all around sense of worthlessness which can many times lead to incarceration. “It was kind of like falling in line (dress right dress)”.  Jeremy now leads the effort to help with transitions to a better life for all those veterans that have become lost in civilian society.

Our music for the evening will be provided by Steven John, with his song “Life Is Good”.

The People’s Patriot Project has some events coming up. They will be helping with security duty in Hastings on September 11 with the Rivertown LIVE event. In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea focus on the ties that bind, meaning the relationships that make the world of veteran and first responder support happen.

The Ties that Bind, Guests this week include Shawn Thomas, founder of 1st Responder Conferences.  Shawn brought her tribe with her, consisting of Jeff Thomas, Mike Washington, and Amanda Brumbaugh. The topics discussed revolved around the need to have support and acknowledgement of the emotional, psychological and physical needs of our #communityheroes.  It was agreed on that many of today’s first responders have a military background, which can compound the need for support.  The conversation quickly added the topic of the spouses of First Responders. Their role is critical in supporting and understanding, but how much of each tragic and traumatizing moment should be shared? 1st Responder Conferences will help with the wording and understanding of how to handle these conversations and keep the spouses as important supporters.

Our musician for the evening is Cody Howell from Nashvile.  Cody has a strong voice with which to share his messages to the world. Listen as he shares the background of his song “Saddle Up”. Check out his other music on YouTube under Cody Howell.  Big things are in his future!

In this week’s episode, Mark and Andrea and the guests of The People’s Patriot Project will bring in energy that begs the question, “Are you ready to make a commitment?!”  Others have spoken about the desire to help, but it can only happen if and when you are willing to step out and do it. Boots on the ground, and this is how it happens!

Guests this week include Joe Schirmer of Rise as One Foundation, and the program “Homes for Vets”.  Joe shares the story of who he is and how he came to be a Founder and President of Rise As One.  He just could not bear the things he learned about homeless vets and he moved when he heard the call.  Our musician visited us from the beautiful countryside in Montana, beside the flowing river, Clark’s Fork. With the river and sun behind him, he shared two songs… “Hammer Down” and “Don’t Go Away”. He will be traveling the Northwest area and performing along the way.

WE had some tender moments tonight… stop on in and listen to Mark share how scooping dog shit grounded him this last week. We all need moments to bring us back to why we do the things we do, and at times it is the simplest of things. It’s about those who served, and we are here now to serve them.  New friends Joe and Jack with be back to visit us in the future - and next week we will talk about #communityheroes with Adam Bird of Heroes Media Group.

Tonight’s episode starts out with recognition for our first responders and our veterans. Andrea presents what has been happening in our world and what days we are celebrating at the beginning of August in honor of our #heroes. Mark and Andrea highlight their busy last couple weeks, including a trip that took them to Southern Illinois to support Brian Gibson and his fundraiser for FOB Rush. They came full circle as they travel to Kansas City to visit with Andrew Farrer and Jesus Fuentes, and to make connections with others at the national VFW conference.

Our guests this weekend are none other than Buzz Brian and Matt Bllom, co-authors of the wonderful book, “The Warriors Book of Virtues”. Matt and Buzz will share the creation of this book and those pieces important not just to our #heroes but to all those who look for help when coming through struggles in life. There’s a lot of good advice in this book and support for those who are looking to live their lives with values and morals at the front and center.

Wonderful music from Chris Turner and the Kim Donette Band is included in this episode and WE are certain you will enjoy it!!!

This week’s episode is an amazing recount of #heroes in action.  Mark and Andrea were able to go to southern Illinois to support Brian Gibson in his fundraising efforts to get FOB Rush fitted to be opening doors to struggling veterans.  Many new friends and family have joined the ranks of The People’s Patriot Project as they continue to spread awareness and expand the reach of the networking community that will work together to end veteran and first responders suicides. In an effort to make sure #communityheroes and their supporters would not go hungry over the weekend, Mark stepped up to run the smoker and create pork shoulder heaven! The very best compliment ever came from the amazing Chris Turner, “How’s a northern boy like you make bbq like this?!”

Guests Andrew Farrer and Jesús Fuentes were in the house -physically- to share the word from the National VFW convention in Kansas City. Mark and Andrea left FOB Rush to meet up with Mark’s family and the VFW peeps to prepare for the show, and network with #heroes at the convention. Andrew belongs to a lot of Vet Organizations, and a big passion right now is for Veterans of Foreign Wars. Andrew is a chaplain for a Tennessee post, and is the state leader. The whole officer corps is here from Tennessee, and he enjoys meeting new people from all over the US. I am here for everyone is his motto. There is a discussion about how VFW is understood by outsiders and the younger generation. They don’t want to go around changing it, they want to enhance it and add the younger generations.  Listen to Andrew give a shout out to the many organizations he belongs to and has been supported by. Jesús is the brains and Andrew is the speaker… they work well together.

Our #communityheroes are here every day to keep us safe, and The People’s Patriot Project is here to support that mission and keep our #heroes safe. Enjoy music from Chris Turner Music (If You Drink) and Elliot McKenzie (Fight Back) as we close out the show for this week.

Derrick will share the message of his mission, and he will explain the importance of nonprofits like us working together to make a bigger difference. WE can work together to help our #heroes ! Prayers to all. This is why we do what we do…. All about family. Steven John music was played, and #lifeisgood becomes the theme for the evening. Live from Texas: Andrea and Mark explaining their whirlwind trip to Austin and the area

This week’s episode of WE Got Your 6@6 was broadcast in the midst of a visit to Texas to celebrate the heroes of VFW and Legions by Andrea and Mark. They were down in Pflugerville to spend time with The Real Doug Lane Band and it turned out to be a great weekend of meeting new and old friends, and putting paws on those we could meet in real life, versus the virtual world where we initially encountered them. This week’s guest was Nick Valentine, from Operation Phantom Services. Nick shared about his support business in Killeen that is open to all veteran or active duty military heroes with needs such as food, clothing, employment, school supplies, car repairs and more. Mark shared the number of people we got to meet with in Texas: Erik Oligschlager, Bobby Withrow, Doug Lane, Dom Cours, Adam Berry and many more! Andrea shared statistics on firefighters and the numbers of suicides and cancers deaths growing.  Coming up for THE PEOPLE’S PATRIOT PROJECT is the Forward Operating Base Rush with Brian Gibson and Project Die Hard in Makanda, Illinois. Scotty Sexton with Forgotten 22 joined us and talked about how important it is to network with like-minded people and businesses. What can we do for our heroes in the veteran and first responder world?  Mark called for all to do their buddy checks and stay in touch with our heroes.
