Looks like this might be merging the recordings of dusk and dawn ... birds koalas frogs and more from the hillside
Noticing more bat activity in the trees near me this last few evenings ... it hasn't been a common evening sound in the last few years ... hopefully a good sign that the last few wetter years may be boosting their populations again (since the heat waves and dry hot years)
It's just so incredible the variety of creature's birds, frogs, cicadas, giant crickets ... and more and of song 🎶 on this little hillside I call home ... rains are due by the weekend ... red sky this morning ... Bundjalung Country
Overcast and cooler weather ... my bird neighbours are singing and human neighbours on occasion drive past along a remote dirt road ... Lorakeets, Currawong, Whip Birds, Pigeons, Finches, Wrens, Magpies and more
March 13 2024 ... dew drops dripping off the roof ... star's are still visible... fading away to daylight ... kookaburras have the first laugh and some plovers have a cackle... more and less each day the cycle forwards
The sun was slow to rise this morning a coolness in the air the seasons are cooling autumnish is in the air
6:20-7:20 am ... overcast autumn morning... hot 36 degrees yesterday and at the edge of a storm and rain last night ... the humidity and heat have subsided for now ... the days are getting shorter
2am froglet party in the tank overflow pond ... tiny but deafening little cuties ... so many of them too
After a scorching hot day of 36 ... it didn't get below 26 degrees Celsius last night ... arrrgh mozzies and humidity) ... coolish breeze at dawn as everything came alive again ... a red sunrise and sprinkles of rain ... waiting on a storm ⛈️ today
I can't recall ever hearing this bird call ... an overcast day ... wondering if it's a call of the Blue Kingfisher that's been living along the dam and creek
After a pretty hot week ... 28 degrees C ... 14 degrees C at night previous day ... this morning was brisk and chilly wind and a cooler week ahead
Satin Bower Birds (stoked I got some recorded) ... so many (15 or more) amidst a chorus of Australian birds, frogs, insects ... the odd plane and car ... after a day of gentle rain 🌧️ ... about 7mm ... the hills are alive!! ... the dusky end of the day
After having the paddocks slashed this morning ... recorded the birdsong hillside sounds just from 4-5pm ... neighbours tractor in background for a moment ... Nimbin hills ... can here me and my dog walking away and walking towards at the end ... a tad louder end and start crunching grass
A fresh air to wake to ... sun breaking through the trees ... shimmering light ... buzzing of insects ... bird choruses ... and a deep sense of calm ... 8-9am Sat 27 May
3 parts of the day from the hills of Nimbin ... living out bush ... bees, birds, insects, aircraft, cars, chooks, clunks, dog bark, sunshiny mid season day
I haven't listened back yet ... am going to now to sleep ... clouds cleared birds sang and frogs croaked ... and a mega rainbow as the sun set
Really heavy rain in this recording ... under a tin verandah roof sounds a bit like white noise ... some birds and some quieter moments through the rains perhaps some frogs in the background ... will do another recording after the rains ease ... decent watering
A still clear autumn sky at dawn ... birdsong awakes ... and chooks cackle as the sun rises towards the end perhaps to lay an egg ... teenage rooster perhaps trying to cockadoodledo ...

Some afternoon sounds from the Nimbin Hills ... I think it's a whip bird making different sounds at the start ... maybe a baby ... they were playing around on the ground and in the wild raspberry bush
Frogs, crickets and other happily rained on night critters on the hillside... Nimbin NsW
After the rain that cooled to humid sub tropical day ... I should just say in Nimbin ... cause it's just over the hill ... literally ... frogs and crickets and some breeze's ... from the east facing hillside ... I find the wind almost like static ... windy white noise and a couple of gusts 💨
Just under an hour .. unedited sounds of the storm moving over the Border Ranges ... NE NSW ... Bundjalung Country ... from frogs, cicada's, birds, windy gust's, swaying tree's, banana leaves rustling, rain drops sprinkling, perhaps me chasing the neighbours doggo home before the storm kicked in ... thunder rumbling and a massive crack as it hit just overhead ... loud and quiet bits ... 💥 ⚡️ ⛈ ... some decent rain followed after the recording ... excellent!!
Just some early hours weathery mozzie woken break in the sleep ramblings ... to describe some cloud types and species to you to educate and inspire and hopefully also encourage a new fascination with the sky and the clouds that inhabit that space ... and hopefully calming to listen to ... I haven't listened back yet so will do that now myself and hopefully go back to sleep ... 4:13 am here ... was quite a relaxing way to spend my woken hour and now back to zzz for me with some cloudy meanders .. enjoy ☁️
Some Koala grunts in the background if you listen closely at the start and another time I think ... crickets , crinkling trees, wind, some drops of rain and maybe a tree falling and other odd critter noises, frogs, to help you switch off your mind for a few minutes
Sounds of birds, frogs, wind, creatures crawling through the raspberries, an airplane and a dog ... with the audio tinge of alien landscapes ... familiar sounds made unfamiliar yet comforting somehow buzzy fuzzy and zoney
Sounds on the east facing hillside as the mist thickened and the full moon began its eclipse... hope you enjoy ... perhaps it'll help sooth and sleeps will follow the excitement ... what a joy this earthy sphere is to experience with all the senses 🌕🌚❤️
Frogs, kookaburras, insects, a plethora of birdsong, frog-song and raindrops ... through a misty cloud filled sky scape ... this one is great ... I actually slept an extra hour back in bed listening to this one ... excellent!!

This is a podcast concept (wasn't quite meant to be published just yet ... though ... as couldn't share privately due to size of file ... still pretty much a Luddite untechsavvy bush critter when it comes to that kind of thing .. but carry on sharing ... gathering ... gaining momentum in ideas and use of voice ... )) though this was meant to be stealthily sent to a specific desired human recipient as a little get well morning bedtime story ... it's here for all to enjoy ... excuse the throat clearing ... if/when reread the material... may learn to edit and quieter the uhmms and page turns in the future ...

Just a concept freeform ramble when I was awake before dawn ... no editing just pressed record ... august 2021 ... almost a year ago ... have since this episode been diagnosed on the autism spectrum ... coupled with adhd ... I'm well versed in sleep disturbed nights ... anyways thought I'd put this here too ... kinda like a random diary and backstory ... maybe one day it'll all come together in a magnificent chorus of all the things that you really don't have to listen to ... but can if you choose ... hopefully so you zone out ... sleep ... or just get some quiet in your own mind ... almost a year since this ... think it might be soon for a seriously produced and composed episode ... stay tuned to tune out
Still working this out ... zilcho idea about the tech side of things ... deco could be better edited with fade in and out and levels ... just going to share as is ... I like it somehow been listening for a cpl hours lol enjoy ... just sweet bird sounds for the last few minutes ...

This is just a trial at a remix with beats ... the bird song's from the hillside and some vocals of myself ... tweaked a bit ... I think it still has a sleepy monotonous vibe ... I'll try develop this concept perhaps
