Our podcast team is comprised of Prevention Specialists with expertise in the creative arts, youth programming, gardening, and Hip Hop culture. We are based in Alabama and committed to increasing protective factors and reducing risk factors in communities around the state.

Dr. Sima Gupta is a Doctor of Optometry and also hold a Master's Degree in Public Health. She serves as Director of COVID Services and Health Services Coordinator for Aletheia House in Birmingham, AL, and previously as Optometric and Public Health faculty at Ansal University, School of Health Sciences, Gurgaon, India. She is the the co-founder of Seeking Her Empowerment (#MakeWomenSafe), an organization which promotes women's safety initiatives in India and which was instrumental in helping pass the Juvenile Justice Act.
