5 Russet Potatoes 1 Sweet Potato 1 medium orange ½ of a block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese 2 tablespoons sour cream 1 tablespoon of gold decorative jimmies/ edible gold decorations/caviar 1/8 teaspoon or a pinch of white pepper Salt ✨Steps: 1. Fill a large pot to the halfway point with fresh water. The potatoes will fill the pot the rest of the way by displacing water. 2. Peel the 1 sweet potato and 5 Russet potatoes 3. Dice the potatoes into chucks around about 1 inch wide. 4. Add potatoes carefully to rapidly boiling water. 5. While potatoes are cooking slice the cream cheese into small sheets for easy melting. 6. Cook potatoes on medium-high heat until a fork can pierce the potato chucks easily. 7. While potatoes cook, thinly slice the orange. Set aside. 8. Drain the pot containing the potatoes. Leave the slightest amount of starchy water. The potatoes should not be dry. 9. Use a metal masher to mash all of the potato chunks in the pot. The heat of the pot will keep them warm. 10. Add the cream cheese and sour cream to the potato mixture. 11. Use a spoon to stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients. Pay attention not to over smash the sweet potatoes. There should be chunks of visible orange. 12. Add white pepper and salt to taste. 13. Use your large spoon to plate the mashed potatoes. Attempt to shape the potatoes into a large circular half dome. 14. Lightly sprinkle the jimmies caviar, or edible gold sprinkles over the top of your dome of potatoes. 15. Cut one of your orange slices so as to make it easier to twist. REFER to 👉 https://pin.it/2ysYXLN for inspiration. 💥🍊🍠🥔💥 Voila! Orange Sparkle Mashed Potatoes!
