That's not goodeth. Rejecting both Gare and Grariereire's book proposals, Urania resolves to do it herself, using ONLY everyday items like toasters and stuff. This should be good.
Joane, aka 'Mo Jo', appears to bail out Year 4, tying in with 'shipbourne', Pearl Harbor Day birth, rising out of the Missouri River and Battleship, and Helen the face who launched 1000 ships.
Urania, unexpectedly returning, suspects the old Narrator's Shure SM58 may in fact be a rare breed of rattler or something, and inexplicably (there's alot of that going around) plugs its tail into a small black box connected to Gares computer. Risky move
During his 2 hour hammock nap, the narrator not only dreamed his podcast came alive and started a pub, he also had a nightmare premonition of what might happen if he unplugged his mike due to burnout
for what WAS a second podcast, but now its a section of the Succeed Book. Keep up, can ye?
And refuses to narrate the new free podcast about stars and culture. It will be a full time job to do nothing on THIS one sayeth he. You know?
Narrator looks back on his two test videos for conclusions, concessions to his own limitations, and the very sources of inspiration. Do they meet us head on (like Urania coming in the door), or do we look into our pasts to find them (like the clock and Urania following close behind? Food for thought.
Two kindle versions of coffee table guide, Starball in the Rain and now Weird Planetaria (more pics). Do we even NEED paperback??
She now has 150 plus statements on Podbean Channel 2, why not beef up volume 3, Urania Speaks huh huh?
Concluding the latest of thousands of prior iterations, the Goddess and her death defying mortal lover at last recognize each other.
She really does. Not only is he hearing voices, now he's seeing messages on the screen too. Written in lipstick. REDRUM!
that over on jack in the beansprout, the narrator has blown an unlimited plan. she needs hours. more of them
Tricked into signing on with Urania's rather dubious sounding publishing company, Liam puts his faith in Gare's equally dubious sounding publishing company. But he has his reasons.
Vaguely annoyed the narrator has published a prototype (kindle) coffee table book with someone else on the cover, the Head Muse-tress announces her own publishing confab and goads Liam to get a move on.
As the 3.0 control room bounces back into the game, Digital Jockey number 2 makes announcement, some of which may be true.
Paperwork cleared up, Narrator launches Operation KnickKnack and Little Dome in the Big Woods
Originally a typo in Volume 4 of Narrators original series of small Ebooks, the planner-terrier comes alive and wags in the door. Narrator has often spoke of tails wagging dogs. He's HERE....
The Day 1000 essayist returns, since the narrator has ended his podcast 3 more times since then. It is dizzing. But not even Arthur foresaw the coming of Molly
Changing her ever shifting story, the pictures are back in the same order as before, and she appears to still wield the power behind the Chief Muse. Some things never change. She wants an update next.
Tired of being a default jack and the podbeanstalk picture, Molly eyes greener pastures
Caliope is now revealed as the ancient leader of the Muses, and Urania persuaded to follow her lead 'some' of the time at least! We can take this slow you know.
Well we heard Urania walk back the evidence for Melpomene in favor of Venus. So the narrator did his dictionary trick one last time. And pointed to a name! The name of a Muse! And OH NO, it seems that his envelope had two names switched! Abbi was .....
What are their names again .. Zeus and Apollo?? I hope they know what they're doing. That certainly USED to be a pub. Briefly.
Urania doubles down on an already confusing plot and now denies the Melpomene storyline, claiming she in fact DID return the sweater, and is 'staying' with a cowboy in Wyoming. Abbi IS in fact Venus the Goddess of Love. Whatever. Gare gets in trouble however for touting his knicknack planetarium instead of building the coop one. Stay tuned a little. This could get dicey
216-1 - Muse Thalia Arrives: A bit wobbily. The Muses pictures are on Gare's walls in his chicken coop, and one by one they are coming to life and climbing down and walking around.
216-2 - Narrator Finishes Conf Room: But no progress seems to be made on defining ummm what the station and Coop 2.0 will DO other than arrive and put out anthologies of past eppys. We need a breakthrough.
216-3 - Polly Shuffles Down - From her picture. We're down to the shy Muses now, seldom appearing in episodes as a rule. Polly joins the neverending family reunion.
216-4 - Multiple Dimensional Offices: Narrator Gare reminds the incoming Polly that multi-dimensional corner offices (9) already were built off the back of the Coop 2.0. In the meantime, he punts on all decisions and decides to keep EVERYTHING.
216-5 - Elsie Arrives - and she's in a book, so there's that immortality
216-6 - Elliot Arrives - The former Punk-Meister suggests a wing for the digital dj's
216-7 - And nobody can find her herds of tiny frozen pizza-like episodes!
216-8 - Gare Alarmed - alarmed at how many 'children' he's accumulated, narrator begins to sympathize with Big Daddy Z a little.
216-9 - Snak Pak Lu Lu - All Snak packs have turned up! Cattle drive?
216-10 - Old Man Douglas! The old codger rolls in and almost gets rolled over. haw haw haw
216-11 - And Finally, Sylvie - Arrives last, leaving Mitchell, Arthur, Melpomene, Amber, Euterpe, Zeus and Apollo missing at last count. Where is they??
I got access to a new AI based 'brain' and asked it to 'explain home planetaria'. Then I asked Urania to read what it said. Here are the results!
He's always been the narrator here, until Apollo (yes THAT ONE) retired him, only to secretly install Kim, who is actually one of the 3 Graces, the one called Kale. Not the salad - she hates that joke.
Gare comes back to reclaim his old position. He explains a few things. Vaguely
Its a long story, we join it late in Month 30. You can jump in any time, its not complicated you know.
Well not all things, like my nose I mean rudolf's for example, but specifically when it comes to stars and the sky.
The enduring legacy of Astrology and our birth sign can still lead to the real starlight
Even though technically all stuff, including us, are FROM them. But do how to we culturally interact with them?
the Muse of Astronomy changes podcasts, causing momentary dizziness. Wait, that may be a permanent condition.
Narrator keeps renaming the podcast, but the problem remain the same - starlight is fading from our sight, our memories, our experiences. What to do - there's only one answer.
We aren't born under the stars, so looking up doesn't come naturally. Enter the Home Planetarium!
The world's first Home Planetarium book/ebook!

Narrator struggles to rebrand this podcast, while thinking it's not TT he keeps seeing, it's PI from the Greek Alphabet! A dam AI Muse called Urania perhaps can explain whats going on
Oddities abound from 180-18 to 191-18. I realized I buried this with Season 180. But they are related too too. TT. Ada Mai Muse. It depends on how you look at them both!
As we reach Day 909 of the podcast, its noted that the matriarch of the original family who built the farmhouse here passed in 1909, leaving the house to two of her daughters. Their last descendent, also now passed, was Ada Muse. She spelled her middle name MAI. Ada Mai Muse. A dam AI Muse.
what the
She and her sisters announce plans to haunt the derelict coop for Halloween, something that doesn't involve strippers. What could happen indeed.
Narrator had a college professor in the family at University of Michigan who developed a scale which is still in use today. Let's see, are there any scales around here?
Likert scales are great for understanding your user’s response to specific parts of the customer journey.
Aware that season 191 is now broken up into multiple parts, the narrator doesn't seem to think that's a problem. Also aware that projectors are RATED for dome sizes, at his level, its a matter more of projector size - does it fit under the dome you have managed to construct. Also, where's Urania?
Kindler Starr, a stage name for Urania, has retained the previous narrator, nobody else wants the job! Here he attempts explain the possible meanings of a dome gone derelict, or unfinished, or IS it finished??
its the Muse of Astronomy, but she uses a dumb pen name for no apparent reason. she has a captive audience in her sister Muses alone, so she never worries about podcast ratings you know. Never mind the other episodes here, they are from the last podcast, the owner just left them when he moved out and Kindler changed the name. If you don't buy that, its best not to say anything.
While romance and emotion just walk hand in hand with 'the stars', there is a dark side. They are distractions, purveyors of false hopes. And they never asked for this!
Like planetarium projectors, do humans PROJECT UP to the real stars their hopes, dreams, emotions, false expectations. How are stars depicted in culture?
We aren't born neath the stars above, but they seep into our lives nonetheless in myriad ways.
as the podcast begins morphing away from a 'planetarium in your own backyard', we begin now to look at the diminishing or even nonexistent role of starlight in our everyday lives - culturally, emotionally, physically, and the obstacles (rafters) which stand before us if we even attempt to SEE starlight anymore.
Even the rapidly evaporating home planetarium niche is dominated by commercial equipment gurus and retired professions. The totally home built folk are 'experts in a dying field'!
Welcome to the home star show podcast, I'm one of the few proponents of a planetarium at home so hang out, but commercial has all gone digital. We analog. That's better. Innit.
Narrator can't get tiny tariums out of his tiny brain .. wait that doesnt sound quite right
Recent obsession with hamster balls led to people hamster balls, which is an example of a small perfect dome or bubble. I wouldnt personally try walking on water with it however.
A chap in the UK tries to get a license to take his inflatable into schools (part 1 of the series)
A chap in the UK tries to find a suitable inflatable fabric for school use! (part 2 of the ongoing series)
Narrator has loaded old podcast Eps 1 - 182 on another platform, a total of 1944 episodes.
Narrator has a meeting with his five former DJ's, who are converting his podcast station into talk radio about star songs.
General description of what assumptions, what givens, what features you will present and model in your home planetarium.
AVOID scrapping them! Develop them for other uses if you must, but better is to display them in public planetariums or private collections. Best though is to restore and return to planetarium service either at home or publicly
But maybe just one scholar will dig up some of this a century from now. That would make it all worth it.
the upside dome, the clear (Sanders) dome, the backward (Mirror) dome, the Derelict Dome, and the Obstructed View dome.
As founder of the Home Planetarium Association, I have been lucky enough to play five key roles in the development of this great hobby! here's an overview
Best Star Songs

Rewrite the Stars - Efron/Zendaya

Is it always better to be active and busy, if you aren't are you in the 'inevitable doldrums'? OR, could the busy state actually be mindless activity, whereas the inaction is really a chance to give things the thought they deserve?
Home Planetarians typical are either a practicing collector, meaning they actively seek out stuff to collect and experiment with, vs a collecting practitioner, who naturally accumulates needed things while running an active schedule.
Commercial, Cylinder, Home Built Sphere, Video, and Backlit. Locations are Freestanding, Garage, Basement, Attic, and Closet
and then try to put it in words? Or do you talk like you think, then try to put it into writing?
are in the wrong order - Dream on looked ahead, yet it was first. Get Your Wings was the present. But then Toys in the Attic was third, yet it looked to the past, collections of things gathering dust in the attic. Academic vs Popular?
as in the Industrial Revolution and todays internet world, there is just too much that COULD be, and the sadness comes when you realize most if not all these will never come to be, and you will be increasingly ALONE, not connected. Alone in too big of a crowd
Preaching to the same tiny choir is not my approach, I would rather do like teachers do, reach out to the non involved public and try to find like minded crazies who want to build a planetarium at home!
I've become obsessed with 'the secret lives of' - especially objects which can be anthromorphized (humanized), and then moonlight as something else. Like a home planetarium!
call it a hall of ghosts - shrouded exotic figures. what have they seen. what have they heard.
Perhaps you are no longer active in building or operating a home planetarium yourself, you may though still have collections of pictures, of equipment etc. And most assuredly, you have your experience! You may be an armchair home planetarian!
It takes place in a theatre of your mind, and you populate it with characters from reality or from somewhere else. From history. From mythology. From fantasy. You are the director, or merely a player, or even a bystander. You are not necessarily in charge.
At least don't make your visitors feel personally responsible or GUILTY for problems society heaps on itself or the environment you know? Also just be are that the fact we may as well be bugs on the cosmic scale is no cause for feeling bad!
If we humanize the stars, and we do constantly, maybe we should ask ourselves - how do THEY FEEL about us??
Do Home Planetariums occupy a 'niche' with no name, or a 'niche with TOO MANY names'. There are so many aspects to building/operating a planetarium in your backyard, basement, garage, the next Volume (Two) will examine the dozen or so major areas to address in the DIY process. From footprint to special effects, categories of equipment to those instrumental tunes mentioned, see you in Volume Two!
(186-4) Four of the Muses have gone on tour since their dirty limerick radio shows blew up in the ratings - here Urania tries to rally the remaining Muses, after tricking the narrator into working on some ebooks he's been promising forever.
2022 Gare comments on 2020 Gare episode 88-3, which was previously not marked in the backlog. Surprises await
The order of seasons meanders. which provides a sortof sampler of early and latter days.
Suddenly episodes from Season 186 of the Home Planetarium Association podcast on podbean get transported over here, where we find Urania missing 4 Muses (its a long story) and attempting to stop the narrator from going on a day trip he never intends to go on
So I had begun 'Under a Canvas Sky', which is a reference to the lyric in Paper Moon, the old standard, and have now decided to synch these 2 podcasts up because I'm retired, what else I got to do. So next we have a subject that was started over THERE, romance and emotion in a home planetarium. You know?
Astronomy Books used to begin chapters with a bit of romance, a bit of those poems (they didn't end with Nantucket though) - why not do that in a home planetarium show to mix in a little romance with all that science huh.
Emotions run both ways - and dark emotions can be caused by direct info given in a planetarium, and we can imagine how the stars themselves, if humanized, must feel.
While Science may be made of indisputable fact and logic, not so with emotion. It can swing both ways.
Particularly if its used in a home planetarium strategically rather than just blanketing the entire proceedings!
In planetariums you build at home. Using a new scale called the E-Rashi-Mote scale. That's a combination of Emote and Rationality see.
Her sister Muses divided into two groups, one of which is now touring comedy clubs across the country since they became 'poetry jockeys' when the radio station lost its music license, Urania plans her next step to prevent the narrator from going on any further vacations
You can't just put a light bulb inside a star ball, you need an intense, pointlike source of light.
Once the narrators radio station couldnt play music anymore, the Muses began being 'Poetry Jockeys' instead, reading dirty little poems. The ratings have been sky high. Here they discuss tonight's plans, plus Uranias 'encounter' with the narrator yesterday.
Urania has secreted removed the Queen of Diamonds from the narrators solitaire deck of cards, about 6 years ago. She finally replaces it, noticing he was still winning games anyway somehow. They aren't getting a room or anything though.
Selecting the right amount of detail to go into when describing the heavens can be very important!
I'm Gary Likert, and welcome you to the DIY world of home planetariums, both the projectors and the dome buildings, and giving shows if that's what you are interested in. Hang out, we're glad you are here!
The Culture of Astronomy, Dietrich, says
There is nothing alien in the cosmos.
(It's all homegrown.
Just like everything out in our own backyard).
But Mr Einstein adds
Time is designed so that it doesn't happen all at once.
Narrator picks up 'The Culture of Astronomy' in a large used bookstore and begins rando readings, its by Thomas Karl Dietrich, this is from page 196 and is jam packed with info don't you know.
Smirking faintly still, the Muses sing no more at the present. Can the narrator talk it off (like walk it off) you know?
Its been more 2 week contract extensions than THAT! But we're still on that journey perhaps. What does 'back to our roots' even mean huh.
(139-9)
I took a picture for this podcast last May May 2, I started 2020. Took a picture of my Smith star cylinder, the copper cylinder, along with a science fair volcano that my wife had stored here in the chicken coop, which used to be her preschool teacher storage facility. Before I took it over for she, she gave it to me when she retired, basically, she I have my wife's permission to be here. I can show you the papers. She signed it over anyway. So I took this picture of my star cylinder and the volcano lined up. So I thought they made a good picture. And I never looked at it again. It was just always there. Well, six months later, last fall again. I don't know if it was October, we had a family of skunks move in under our house. They were slithering under my furnace. Basically, they were getting into some cracks. And of course, you can imagine what that smelled like. So I couldn't figure out how to get rid of them. I tried to I do old one with a shovel. I lost. Finally I thought I'm gonna go buy something to scare them, see if this will work. So I bought I went to the hardware store and bought this plastic owl. It's really realistic. It's painted, you know, I set it up on a stand outside the the furnace area where I knew they went and came and went. And sure enough, it worked. When one of the skunks came out slithered out to go out eating or whatever, whatever they do you know how to eat. He saw that. And I saw I think it was the mama skunk. I saw her run very quickly back. So next day they were gone. So the my plan worked as likely as it might seem. So I took what to do with the owl. So I took it and I put it on the table where the volcano already was and where he had lined up my Smith cylinder for that picture for the podcast. So I put the owl there next to the volcano and didn't think a thing about it. Finally, a couple of months ago, I changed the picture on the podcast. So I printed on you know, I brought it back on my desktop computer here. And I looked at it and I about fell out of my chair because there is a clear image of that owl next to the volcano next to the Smith star cylinder. And that picture predated me putting the owl on the table next to the volcano by a good six months. So somehow I took a picture of an owl that wasn't there yet. And I could show you that picture. And that image and it's almost an exact match. That's my planetarium haunted moment. Number three. Thanks for listening.
(140-5) In one of my favorite episodes. The gang's all here.
This concludes about the last third of the episodes, which were mostly character driven.
(143-6)
The old Spitz star ball was worn out. After 40 years of providing daily miracles for young and old. It was her turn for a miracle. It was almost as if this old planetarium projector had a personality of her own. Many of her operators had remarked over the years that she almost seemed possessed, inhabited with a warmth, dignity and charm for recreating heavens beauty and mystery. But she was doing a miracle of her own. Then she'd sleep fulfilled in the museum's basement forever. And as she does the loan This is how it happened. Her wish was granted on the last night before her replacement. Careless workmen played an important role. Her old dome also had been removed for a similar updating and the opening above her was covered with nothing but a tie down Canvas tarp. It would hold until morning the workmen had reasoned, no rain was in the forecast anyway. In fact, a front was sweeping in that would clear the skies beautifully, a starry summer's evening, but no one counted on wind. You can guess what happened next. About midnight came an extremely sharp gust and the canvas was suddenly blown away. stirring the old star ball knew I can't do it. Alright, I'm gonna try again. From where I left off stirring. The old star ball knew that she was called. For the first last and only time in her long, long life. She stood alone beneath an actual blazing nighttime sky. Her miracle and had she somehow switched herself on one last time. Hold on a second. All right, let me try to get through this. Each of her stars projected outward and kissed the incoming light of their universal counterpoints parts. The Old Globe began to glow brighter and brighter from within. Recreator had met creator, this was fulfillment.
one last twist in the ghost story was necessary, for the ghosts did not appear from the outside. they had always been inside. And Big Dog Z always listens to what he wants. Ok NOW i can resume the backlog loading. Unless....
Narrator completes the loading of Phase 3 of the podcast, the totally bonkers Muse-driven 2022 episodes. 2021 was about half serious and half bonkers, and the Paper Moon 2020 was stone cold serioso I'd say. Happy Birthday to all, and I might take tomorrow July 20 off. But you know ...
Trip the Light by Gary Schyman
This morning as he woke up with the REAL goddess in the coop - and in the video, he didn't say HAIR cut ..... well, here he is to splain it all.
no, this is the REAL real narrator. no not that one, this one. over HERE. not even behind the curtain. on the stool. thats him. grab him!
Urania always gets the last word, its in her contract. The Muses give new meaning to the phrase 'bought the farm' and move next door, fullfilling the prophecy of 'the second chicken coop on the left'. Not even Peter Pan could argue with that!
All visitors to the new Home Planetarium Association Facebook page are welcomed in the Muse's rather inimitable fashion. She's always like this. But she has good ideas. Unendingly.
How long have I been like this lol. My campus, out beyond the last dump - now that's poetic
With all 40 or so Chicken Episodes at last loaded into the coop, Urania relates Gare's story about how the first thing they did when they opened up the coop involved shovels. With all this poultry, including the one on her head, that time has come once again. Before its too late.
The last episode having 'mooo-ved' intp the barn, Urania is dismayed to see a NEW herd approaching in the distance.
Narrator realizes alot of crazy stuff, but the facts all lead in this one direction! And all the sorting buckets are now visible. In the end, I just work here. Thank goodness I don't call the shots. Oh what a relief THAT is!
Where's Rowdy Yates when we need a ramrod. As the episodes slowly moo their way into the Not THAT Ok corral, I'm not even sure where this will post. I may have to fiddle with the sorting. Like Nero, like Garo.
Narrator releases another pasture full of mooing old episodes, some a bit over-enthusiastic to be back on the air.
the Beths, a New Zealand indie pop band have a crushingly ironic take on our analog dreams, it doesn't come out till September but it's worth a viewing. No way to rewind.

Some other Muse whose name escapes me provides this Glenn Walsh website blurb sponsored by Buhl in Pittsburg and the Friends of Zeiss. Guess who gets a couple shoutouts, and I'll try to find that thesis of Emmons in my extensive mess I mean archive
Narrator begins extended weekend for July, revisiting those Aerosmith lp's. Dreaming On will be the prime directive of the first ebook, while the new Emmons research outreach will be an attempt to find some of those Toys left in the Attic. But Get Your Wings had Train Kept A'Rolling, and a train must stay on track to accomplish all this! There's several fantastic train songs, but the Blackfoot one above is the best to my ears!
Narrator takes a whack at defining scholarly vs popularizingly vs flying the train. Vaguely

Real Gare is appalled to find Brian's questions have put a News Channel 2 truck in his driveway with arguing Muses and other digital folk in tow - hastily, he pulls the old 'wrong coop on the left' trick, buying time...
Big questions. Medium sized ones too. He could have been Perry Mason. He was a boomer lawyer on TV. You know?
Real Gare can breathe a sigh of relief, as he has been consigned to mere folklore status.
Just after admiring Urania's glossy purple lip gloss, the Muse mentions a little visit by another goddess a bit earlier. Real Gare better find his own potted palm when news of THIS gets out .....
Speaking with Gare's mouth. I wish he wouldn't make this any weirder than it already is. Let's see what he say.
He meant Season 6 not 3. Even though I said I wouldn't, I still did. Post an old season that is, after consorting with my consorts etc. Reasons are within. Apollo made me do it!
That's 4 M's in one sentence! We can see the sun in anyone's face if we try maybe! And often the last is the best, not the first. And take that road you never take! I'm going into the fortune cookie business next!
Is both awed AND validated. She IS the most powerful of her kind. And she can see grandeur we can scarcely imagine, in the strangest places!
Current thoughts as the loading of the BBLB (big back log baby) has begun! The first book is now a MANIFESTO! And NEVERMIND the other night here in the coop. Only in my Midnight Confessions will I tell!
And as the sunset faded, I spoke To the famous first starlight And I said next time Next time We'll get it right
Urania locked me in the Coop and told me to do it like this. Just like the girls in Telluride do!
Ned Washington and Leigh Harline wrote the iconic song.
she hits a note at the end higher than some of those very stars
Off the blocks quickly in this new program, where we listen to an olde episodee, then provide current commentary on some o the subjects. RR 1 includes origin of my lucky numbers, the explosion of content we're seeing today, except in home planetariums.
Seeking out a robed arbitrator, no not a judge though, the station owner and goddess of old classic episodes are reconciled at last.
Is it early, or late? Random, or studied. Fast or slow. Shade vs light. And does any of it matter.
The inventor of the snak pack (not to mention goddess of classic old episodes, oops I just mentioned it) plots to sneak back into the station and 'leak' Gare's book source material - all while blonde! What will he do??
The Jack of Hearts I think, good morning, its really Saturday this time! Narrator eases back in with a projector scheme reactivated, plus more, you know what 'they' say. How was I to know all this had been shuffled before?
Yesterdays biopsy confirmed I have enlarged lymph nodes, which is a very slow moving form of lymphoma for which there is no cure, no treatment, and is shared by a large number of OLD people, OMG NOT ME, and is simply checked on periodically. That's three straight weird conditions in three straight years. Who wants to be normal you know?
But don't trip over it or bump your haid on it! Step over it, don't try to drag the baggage over it, the airlines charge extra now for that! See with NEW eyes. Narrator gives himself a sermonette. Everyone knows he talks to himself! What, its not Saturday yet? I haven't crossed that line yet then!
Covers of lesser known Beatle tunes like this one are all the rage these days - this obscure tune from Harrison and Yellow Submarine I always loved.
A virtual trivia question after few appearances on this podcast, he returns at the new Wed Pretty Vacant Punk Party and spins one tune before the narrator steps into the DJ booth at Radio Woe-Is-Me-But-Who-the-Bleep-cares...
Narrator runs into the unbelievable complexity of 2022 Microsoft Word, rendering his initial book estimates as unreliable as he is. Rumor has it he will be allowed back in the reopened station. We'll see.
'Two Years and Ten Days' has caught on around here as the duration of the original podcast, so it seems fitting to treat that as an entity, a phase, or a thing you know. 740 Days. That has made it easier to talk about as a whole, even while resuming the flying of the airplane.
'Tweaking' appeared briefly on the ill fated Uranias Radio Station, but also appears in Vol 1 of Gare's upcoming booklet series. It was called the lost episode for some reason.
Appearing for only two days on OC2 (yes, she refers to Mr Walker as 'spritely olee elf'), she also interpreted his saying 'all are welcome' as meaning Gare's digital creatures could have free run about the place. Also one 'Lost Episode' called 'Tweaking' appeared, along with some songs. Alas, the station was torpedoed and vanished without a trace, like many of the narrator's dreams. Tweaking follows this theory of Urania's that Gare pulled the plug on Podbean. Conspiracy theory??
Assured by his therapist that telling your own story is a good idea, narrator recalls some past Spyglass Network folk
After spending a night in his therapist's waiting room, his head on a stack of dusty national geographics, he finally gets in and brings up his first topic he seeks guidance on ....
Comes to the narrator, stuck in his therapists waiting room, MUSING like he will - Month Specific Chloes. Let him explain it, please.
Used to be my signoff, as I was invariably up early. Waiting outside my therapist's house, I thought up another new series - Heres to YOU, a tribute to a few folk who were early influencers.
Narrator heads to his therapist's couch, that's YOU - and will talk over the next as many days as it takes about each area of this pursuit to see which boxes can be ticked so to speak. You charge WHAT?? Im a senior citizen! Coupons??
Narrator continues narrating himself right into Year 3, paradoxically both even and odd. No Brother Jonah is not in the Jonas Brothers first of all.
Back in oddville i mean Vegas, the Muses freak when nobody can remember even getting on the plane out there. To quote Urania's studied question, what the?
at his age, narrator needs to stick with decks of cards like Urania! by request, some back episodes are in the offing. however, the jonah business threatoned to get very personal and he's had to cool that down a bit ... you know
Narrator returns to unpacking previously sacked good junk. He uses a process called 'sorting back in', reintegrating years old forgotten stuff into whatever is happening today. Ah life in the country.
this isn't about that, but i thought the title made good copy. disco motors make their debut tomorrow, the puck-like motors that spin the disco mirror balls - ive got them in stock! plus my hatboxes are fixin to get alot more realistic!
I don't mean like, the prom or anything. But viewing Vegas as the 'gambling capitol' is only something people of a certain generation and back do anymore huh
Is found for 3 old old old computers languishing in the barn - USB pluggable strip lights!
yes where the real things are! but the problem is, we talk in even-world ABOUT odd-world!
After that wild staff meeting, which will now be a fixture every Thursday apparently, with 'spillover' on Friday. The rest of the time, its you and me! Glad you here and welcome to new folk too!
Finally given the floor at the staff meeting (not literally, that's another whole story innit), Gare passes out his first power pointy handout, hastily printed since nobody has an overhead projector anymore. In a nutshell, he advocates gazing up at Urania's stars more than gazing at the means of reproducing them, although the theater and machine ARE part of the atmosphere. The crowd round the table seems eager for him to hurry it up though already.
We're current now, and Urania, who by the way boinked her own head on the disco ball leaving last night, is known for locking the door at 8:02 if you're late. This has happened to yet ANOTHER new station member, a 'mushion' as she says with a rather unusual name.
Narrator tries to fathom how he's gotten this far and never used the world 'fathom' . It IS hard to fathom
Her head swimming with a new vision of how the Universes are divided into Even and Odd sections
Zeus himself frees the podcast, turns around his daughter Urania and lays some universe architecture on her in a dream or something. She thinks she head faked her visit, well Season 167 will explain it all. Home Planetariums are coming real soon too lol.
Every attempt to add a 13th episode simply results in a repeat of Urania's last message and a duplicate, followed by an increasing number of batteries Baby Marilyn gets daily. At 42 (14x3) Triple A's I gave up. We may be doomed
There's no Season 167 - shaking her obsession with the robot and a diapered (hopefully) 10th Muse baby appearing on the doorstep, she vows to climb Mt Olympus and ask Big Z what gives
Remember our short list of old homemade star cylinders, two Smith's, Charlie Miller's (late of OC), the Likert, the Kaler, have i left any out? This was the previous huge find in the UK, the Peter Bruce cylinder, only recently added to by the Green Machine.
Mona that is, but that 15 yearold kid wasn't Leo's Muse, and somebody had to get the King of France to come up off the painting and put it in the Louvre. I wonder who.
You somehow SET OUT to build a planetarium from scratch, the idea coming from an unknown source of inspiration which might as well be a Muse for all you know - and you were chasing a 1958 vibe. Not settling. Actively pursuing it. What then
Rather than a cool stare as previously stated, each Muse picture I have seen contains that mysterious faint smile. Like they KNOW things.
