Here we talk to Mark Arnold from Urban Saints about the work he does with children and families with additional needs.
Here we chat to the brilliant Ali Boulton who talks about the work she does on new housing estates...
Ali was a sort of Bishop type person in the Baptist Church, and I remember seeing her helping a colleague/friend out at new wine when his kids were sick in the night, mopping up sick and helping tired parents... Showing servant leadership in a way that really inspired me. She's very cool and wise, and worth a listen!
A great interview with Rach Hepburn who shares not just about her time working on a new housing development and but also about life at its toughest and God's faithfulness... She also includes an amazing story of two friends coming to faith.
Looking at Jesus' words to "Seek first the Kingdom of God" -alongside Haggai's warnings not to live in panelled houses whilst the temple of the Lord is neglected.
It was great to chat to two great guys from my previous parish of Kingswood about the Churches they now lead and especially the work we did together on the Streets of Kingswood with "Street Pastors" -Church in Action on the Streets... Hear a bit about the Archbishop getting flashed!!
Each week we have a different challenge from someone with the School of Mission, we share together on our next Webinar how it went?

How good are we at doing something nice for us where we feel truly alive?

Jackie tells her story (very honestly and vulnerably), for those who don't know Jackie she was a minister with Elim (leading for a while the church in Kingswood where I was Vicar). Jackie was chair of the Evangelical Alliance and spearheaded the turning mission in Bristol, and is the only person I know who can 'accidentally plant a church'... Worth a listen/watch.
An amazing evening with Daniel Dugmore... but do watch this and I believe it will massively bless you. It is 50 minutes of amazing content -if I had the money I would pay Christians to watch this!!!
Much of my ministry has been much more "pioneering" doing stuff around fresh expressions etc, Alan's work has been much more that of a traditional evangelist doing more "presentational evangelism"... Thought this would be an interesting conversation between the two of us!
Looking at Jesus saying
"I will build my Church and even the gates of hell wont prevail against it"...
We are called to "Seek first the Kingdom of God"... What does it mean to be missional? The Five Marks of Mission, Tell, Teach, Treasure, Transform, Tend. Stems from Discipleship "Doing the things of Jesus for reasons he does them".
Mission is more than evangelism, words need to be backed by our walk -how we live our daily lives

Imagine going out on mission, not knowing where you were going without money and all your stuff -a bit like Jesus sent out both the 12 (in Luke 9) or the 72 (in Luke 10) here Dave tells his story of going out with the guys from Fusion (a University Mission group) where four of them just got on a plane and trusted God for a weekend and trusted that he would used them, and he did, it's about 24 minutes but an amazing story, worth checking out.... We hope to do something similar to this but would be within the UK.
AJ is one of our 'founding members' at the School of Mission (www.schoolofmission.co.uk @schoolofmissio2) and here he is talking about his role as a youth worker in Bournemouth, especially doing detached youth work. He shares about the importance of relationships, 'small ins' and the importance of listening to individuals rather than 'stereotypes and strategy'.

Pastor Benson, a friend of mine, talks about how he and his family moved from London to Bristol to plant a church, and gives us some wise insights.
Here I share few thoughts on "knocking the dust off our feet" -am I devoting my life to the things that God is calling me too or am I just being pushed around by other people (and maybe my own) expectations?
John Chapter 5 (although I say 4) "Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda[a] and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. 3 Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralysed. [4] [b] 5 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked".
