Derek Davis is the third-longest tenured coach at Columbia, the program has reached new heights each year under his tutelage. Davis has coached six recurve teams to national gold medal finishes (2005, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017) and three compound teams (2015, 2017, 2018). Three times Davis has been awarded national coaching honors by USA Archery after first being named the USA Archery Doc Counsilman Coach of the Year in 2013.
