Through the word of God we are taught to learn from the errors others make. Not only is this true through Bible study, but also through observing things in this present world. Take the time to listen carefully to what God says on this matter.
Is the drinking of wine, in any amount, acceptable unto God? We are going to look at this subject matter in this Podcast. Listen all the way through to the end.
Do you have a relationship with God? Are you His son or daughter? Are you sure? Open your Bible and follow along as we see what God says about having a relationship with Him.
The Catholic Church just recently appointed their new Pope. Other religious groups have their self-appointed anointed ones too. This is all wrong and everyone should know it. Brian and Trey Yeager talk about this in this Podcast.
What does it mean to be modest? Is it about what a person wears regarding clothing? Is modesty about one's conduct? We are going to look at this subject matter and use some reason to consider how God expects His people to be modest.
In this Podcast we are going to listen to a statement made about a stronger woman being behind every great man. We are then going to go through the Scriptures and think through the roles of men and women as well as what Biblical strength really is.
Christians generally understand the need to “…earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3). What we need to emphasize more is the need to do such as a united group of faithful saints. This is not just the work of the preacher or elders!

Many people are members of certain churches because that church is the “family church” (so to speak). The sense of belonging is powerful and is often controlling. What one must question is if this is what God desires of you? We are going to have an interesting look into this common practice.

You can look at the world around us and know things are getting worse. You can look at the Lord's body, the church and see that there has always been a lot of problems. This can all be discouraging. Well, you need to change what you looking at. This is what we see in this lesson from II Timothy 2:14-19.

Christians should understand that we need authority from the rightly divided word of God (II Timothy 2:15) for all that we say and do (Colossians 3:16-17 and I Thessalonians 4:1-2). Though that is often understood on the surface, there are things that people want to do in the name of Christ that they cannot support through the rightly divided Scriptures. Then comes in the ward “expedient.” It is a Scriptural word and the concept has some Scriptural basis. However, whether or not something is expedient is often more restrictive than permissive in the Scriptures. If you search in the Scriptures you are not going to find this word. There is a reason for that. Yet, it is commonly used in some religious circles. There is a reason for that too. God has given mankind authority since the beginning of Creation. Sadly, authority has been abused about as long as such has been in the hands of mankind. We are going to talk about some of this during this Podcast.
Whether it is the Methodist Church, Holiness Church, Baptist Church, the Church of Christ (Restoration Movement), etc.; they all have church directories. These directories are used for people moving, traveling, etc. to find people of “their brand” (so to speak) to assemble with. This was a live sermon preached in El Paso, TX. God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding (I Kings 4:29). Yet, when Solomon was old his wives turned away his heart from God (I Kings 11:4). Solomon did not have his heart fixed on God. Sometimes Christians think they need to study more, learn more, etc. and that will keep them from falling away. Certainly, knowledge is important. However, it is not the safety net some think it is.
