Actually trusting in God is radical. Telling people to trust in God is misunderstood. And sometimes telling God you trust in Him is just a straight up lie.

In this episode, Eve and Shelby discuss what God's providence really is: those moments when you don't know what it means for God to provide, or the times where you don't know if you can give God control.

This SEASON EIGHT (what??!) kickoff delves into the understanding of God's providence, its representation in scripture, and the vulnerability associated with it. This is what really happens when you give God your heart, and accept His along with it.

In 1981, the Blessed Mother supposedly appeared to six children under the title "Queen of Peace" in Medjugorje. While not yet an approved Apparition Site in the Catholic Church, it is a place of pilgrimage for many Catholics seeking healing, answered prayers, and peace.

Last month, I pilgrimaged to Medjugorje, and honestly, I don't quite know what to make of this experience. In this episode, I share about my experience: the honest reflections, moments of transparency, and some practical tips for visiting along the way.

How often do we forget that our vocation isn’t something we go out and find, but a gift to receive?

We can spend so much time in prayer asking God for answers, but in this episode, Jessica shares that true discernment is less about figuring everything out and more about allowing God to love you. Instead of overthinking, we’re invited to recognize that everything we’re given in the present moment is a gift.

Jessica also shares what it means to imitate Mary without misplacing devotion, how to walk in obedience to God’s call, and practical insights on discernment.

We don’t talk about sin enough, or we talk about it in all the wrong ways.

In this episode, we’re getting honest about the reality of sin, what it means to pursue virtue, and the discouragement that can come when we keep falling short.

But this isn’t a conversation about shame. It’s about mercy.

God’s mercy isn’t something we earn after we “get it together”, it’s what meets us right in the middle of our weakness. No matter how many times you’ve fallen, you are not too far gone.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same patterns, discouraged in your faith, or unsure how to actually grow in virtue, this episode is for you.

Just because our faith is deep doesn’t mean our feelings disappear. True faith invites us to bring those emotions to Jesus, not avoid them.

Margaux, a student at Franciscan University, shares her journey from viewing Catholics as hypocritical to encountering true freedom in the Catholic Church. Along the way, she opens up about her struggles with anxiety and what it has looked like to truly surrender that to God.

In this episode, we talk about facing our emotions head-on instead of dismissing them with the phrase “just give it to God.” Jesus offers real inner healing; but it’s through walking with Him in our struggles that we begin to experience the fullness of life.

What does it mean to be truly accepted?

In this episode, we sit down with Madie whose journey took her into the LGBT community, where she was searching for belonging, identity, and love. While she found moments of connection, she still felt like something was missing.

Everything changed when she encountered Jesus in the Mass.

In this powerful reversion story, she shares how her understanding of acceptance was completely transformed,, not by leaving behind the desire to be loved, but by discovering a love that was deeper, personal, and rooted in truth.

Now a student at Franciscan University, her “yes” to God has led her to a life on mission. As the president of an Abortion Outreach Ministry, she spends her Saturdays in sidewalk ministry outside a Pittsburgh abortion clinic, accompanying others with the same love and truth she encountered herself.

Today’s guest, Sarah, has spent the last few years living boldly on mission as a FOCUS missionary. But saying “yes” to God hasn’t always looked easy or ideal.

In this episode, Sarah shares how God has met her in the tension of trying, failing, sacrificing, and learning how to rely on Him in prayer. When she began her journey in faith, she had to learn that the faith is not about performance, but allowing God to work within our weakness.

Together, we reflect on how prayer becomes the place where God reveals His love for us personally; sometimes calling us to things that feel impossible, yet giving us the grace to say yes.

If you’ve ever wondered whether God really loves you as much as He loves everyone else, this conversation is a powerful reminder that His love is intensely personal. The same love that calls us into deeper prayer is the love that sends us on mission.

Sainthood isn’t optional and your path to it is absolutely necessary.

In this episode, I sit down with Connor McLaughlin (@connormclaughlin__) to talk about what it actually means to become a saint in real life...not someday, not abstractly, but here and now.

This conversation challenges the idea that someone else will discern your mission for you, confronts the temptation to reduce faith to consumption or content, and invites you to ask a harder question: What if God is waiting on your yes?

Perhaps if everyone lived this way, sainthood wouldn’t feel radical, it would be the default.

What does it really mean to be called by God? What is it to hear His voice and to actually follow it?

Eve sits down with Sr. Inga of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy for an honest and deeply human conversation about vocation, encounter, and learning how to show up before God as you are. Sr. Inga shares her multiple year long journey to finding her vocation, how God “casts us into the net” of His will, and why no two vocation stories ever look the same.

Together, they explore the misconception that religious life is only about sacrifice, and instead reveal the surprising joy of giving one’s life completely to God. This episode invites listeners to keep their eyes open for the signs God is placing in their own lives, and recognize the imprint of His love in everything.

2025 was the year of complete and total unexpected circumstances, and somehow we’re already weeks into 2026 wondering, okay God… what are You up to now?

In this episode, Eve and Shelby sit down for a relaxed, honest conversation reflecting on the lessons, surprises, and growing pains of 2025 and sharing the word God has placed on their hearts for 2026. No agenda, no pressure, just two friends yapping, laughing, and noticing where grace showed up when we least expected it.

From radical surrender and confident hope to courage, curiosity, and a theology of fun, this conversation explores what it looks like to live the next year with open hands and a deeper trust in God’s presence within us.

If you’re entering 2026 with questions, excitement, or a quiet sense that God is inviting you into something new, this one’s for you.

Before we set resolutions, chase goals, or dream up who we want to become next year, we have to pause and ask a deeper question: Who is God to me right now—and how is He making Himself known within my heart? What parts of me am I unwilling, or struggling to give to Him?

In this episode, we turn toward Jesus as the Divine Healer and toward the unfathomable mercy poured out in the Divine Mercy image. This is the second episode in the series Learning to Love Jesus Again, where we explore how to fall in love with Christ in every season—especially the unexpected ones. Learning to let Jesus meet us in the places that feel uncertain, tender, or in need of renewal.

Join me as we reflect on the God who doesn’t just save, He heals, restores, and gently reshapes us into who we’re meant to be. Let’s learn to love our Lord again, and trust the mercy that’s already shaping our hearts.

Is the Rosary boring? Honestly, most days it feels like it. But is it worth our time? Few things compare.

In this episode, Eve and her guest Caroline unpack how the quiet repetition of the Rosary mirrors the beauty of the ordinary and how it can spark real transformation in our lives and the lives of those around us. They share personal experiences of finding comfort in the Rosary during sorrow and offer practical tips to deepen your meditation.

The episode wraps with a heartfelt conversation about long-distance relationships, praying with your boyfriend, and why spiritual boundaries matter just as much as emotional ones. It’s all about admiring someone’s faith life without losing your own and remembering that the same God who’s present in your relationship is the One who meets you in personal prayer.

Ever feel like your life looks nothing like the dream you had in your head? You’re showing up, trying to pray, trying to trust, but everything feels a little too… ordinary.

In this episode, we talk about how the “ordinary” parts of life--the slow seasons, the everyday yeses, the quiet moments when no one’s watching—are actually where God does His best work. You’ll hear real stories about saying yes (and no) to the right things, how to recognize when God is redirecting your plans, and why faith is a continuous reevaluation of who you have been, who you are now, and who God is calling you to be.

If you’ve been wondering what it looks like to live a holy, purpose-filled life right where you are… this one’s for you.

“Love Is Blind” gives us a front-row seat to what happens when love becomes about taking instead of giving. What begins as attraction often turns into pressure, and what should be a gift becomes a demand.

Drawing to the deeper question of what real love looks like, we talk about how easily intimacy can be twisted into something transactional and how God invites us into something so much greater.

This episode becomes a reflection on what happens when we confuse lust for love and how Christ redeems even the most broken versions of it. Jesus desires to heal our broken hearts and understanding of love, let's allow Him to heal us!

We hear the words each time we go to Mass: "this is my body given up for you". This is our greatest example of love in faith: Jesus giving His body for us. Yet, what does it mean for us to return that love back to Him?

Rachel shares her journey: traveling to countries where Christians are persecuted, speaking on pro-life topics, and witnessing the profound faith of those who are in the minority for being Christian. Her story is a beautiful reminder to us all that the faith transcends our understanding, and is something we are called to give our lives to.

Honestly, I never thought I'd veil. I remember the first time I saw a woman veil, wondering "what is on her head??"

Then, I learned the beauty of the tradition and had my own encounter with reverence veiling before the Eucharist. In this reminder of beauty--a sense of other-worldliness--I was able to witness God's love in a new way. In this episode we cover topics such as:

  • Why do women veil?
  • How can I know my motivations in veiling are pure?
  • Will people judge me for veiling?
  • Do I have to go to Traditional Latin Mass to veil?

This episode delves into my personal testimony in veiling, while answering YOUR questions about the tradition.

We've heard it, we know it: sometimes the waiting season is where God does His greatest work. Yet, we don't always want to listen to that reality.

Shelby joins Eve to share her story of patience before the marriage proposal—how she learned to trust, release control, and wait for the mountaintop moment that was always meant for her. If you’re in a season of “not yet,” this episode will remind you that every delay in God’s plan carries purpose, and the story He’s writing for you is worth the wait.

In this powerful episode, Michelle shares the beauty, challenge, and grace of her homeless street ministry — a mission rooted in mercy and radical trust in God. In this episode, Michelle reminds us that Christ is profoundly present in every encounter.

She opens up about learning that mercy is a bilateral experience, that fulfillment comes only from living the mission God has given you, and that trust in His will is often tested in unexpected ways.

This episode is a moving invitation to all of us: to be missionary disciples right where we are and to find God in the places we least expect Him.

In this episode, we explore what it really means to live your daily life for God: through small moments, lasting friendships, and the love of Christ on the Cross. Jerome's story reminds us that people can change, that joy can be shared, and that true evangelization begins with knowing who Christ is ourselves.

We talk about how to keep giving the little moments of our day back to God, why Christ’s sacrifice was always freely given, and how His love is so great that He would do it all over again—for you.

What happens when you give nine years of your life to God in consecrated life—only to realize He’s calling you somewhere else? In this episode, I sit down with my spiritual inspiration, Ms. Wesolek, to talk about the confusing seasons of rejection and redirection.

Her story of leaving a religious community and re-entering the world is one marked by surrender, wrestling with God’s will, and learning to trust when nothing made sense. We dive into prayer as a joyful encounter (not a duty), what it means when God’s “no” feels crushing, and how every redirection is an invitation to deeper faith.

If you’ve ever wondered whether God is closing a door or simply leading you to something greater, this episode is for you.

College is one of the most formative seasons of life—where friendships, career pressure, and faith all collide. In this special episode, Eve weaves together stories from two past guests with her own reflections on what it looks like to live as a Catholic student navigating surrender and friendship.

Anne Marie shares about her desire not only to keep her faith but to form it more deeply in college, while also wrestling with her tendency to plan out her life and even how others would see her. Annie reflects on a season of transition, when she wanted to transfer schools and had to learn what it meant to surrender her own plans and embrace God’s.

Together with Eve’s own insights, this episode explores the importance of faith-filled friendships and the invitation to live radically for God—even in the everyday moments of college life.

In this episode, we dive into the powerful witness of a young man who learned to root his life in Christ after the tragic loss of his close friend at just 16 years old. His friend lived an ordinary life, but one marked by extraordinary faith—constantly tying everything back to God. That legacy continues to inspire him today.

He shares honestly about the challenges of living out faith in high school, from feeling like faith was just another “fad” to realizing that Catholicism is both accessible and life-changing if you’re willing to take the chance. Along the way, he reflects on what it means to be called to sainthood right now, why prayer isn’t always easy, and why men in particular should not be afraid to openly talk about their relationship with God.

This conversation is a moving reminder that holiness is not reserved for later in life—it starts today, and it’s strengthened by the witness of those who’ve gone before us.

What does it mean to live in Christ’s mercy? In this episode, we dive into the heart of Divine Mercy through the words of St. Faustina, the teaching of the Church, and the witness of St. John Paul II.

We discuss why every soul desperately needs mercy, the power of Christ’s wounded hands that bless and heal, and the transforming grace of Divine Mercy—likened by theologians to a “second baptism.” You’ll also hear about JPII’s devotion to St. Faustina, the saint of mercy, and why the message of Divine Mercy is meant to prepare the world for Christ’s final coming.

At the core of this message is trust—not as a passing feeling, but as a radical way of living like Jesus. This conversation is an invitation to look into the gaze of Christ, the One who gave His life for you, and to let His mercy change everything.

Joining us on today’s episode is Nick, a courageous high schooler whose story is a powerful witness of God’s relentless pursuit. Unlike many cradle Catholics, Nick didn’t grow up in a practicing family. Faith wasn’t central in his home, and yet, in a way that only God can, He sought Nick out, planting questions, curiosity, and eventually conviction deep within his heart.

In this conversation, Nick opens up about his journey to discovering the Catholic faith—how knowledge and wisdom became avenues for encountering the truth of God, and how reason and faith began to beautifully intertwine. He also shares the challenges and graces of living out his faith in a family that doesn’t fully understand or practice it. From defending the existence of God to witnessing with love and patience, Nick’s story reveals the courage it takes to live as a young Catholic today.

This episode is a reminder that no matter where we begin, God never stops chasing after us, and that the search for truth always leads to Him.

Discerning a vocation often feels like one of life’s greatest struggles—Who does God want me to marry? Am I even called to marriage? What is He asking me to do?

St. John Paul II wrestled with these same questions. Though he once dreamed of being an actor, his deep desire for holiness ultimately led him to the priesthood—an unexpected path that God had been preparing him for all along.

In this episode, Eve and Dr. Grattan Brown explore John Paul II’s own journey of discernment and why vocations became such a central theme of his ministry. Together, they uncover how he guided young people in discovering God’s call and the timeless wisdom he leaves us today as we seek to follow our own.

Like we've celebrated this past year in the Jubilee of Hope, John Paul II also was a "Jubilee Pope" for the year 2000. In many ways, he considered this a paramount moment in his pontificate.

In this episode, Sophia and Eve discuss how to look back at 2,000 years of Church history and see where we are invited to follow God's plan for the world in the third millennium. The Church, in many ways, is a guide for society. It is up to us in the third millennium to lead culture, through the Church, into the hands of Christ.

St. John Paul II is known for his joyful disposition and deep prayer life. Little would someone know from meeting him the incredible suffering he faced throughout his life.

Losing his entire family by the age of 21 years old, multiple near death experiences, standing up in the face of Communist Poland, and attending underground Seminary--just to name a few before his papacy had even begun.

St. John Paul II teaches us lessons of hope, perseverance, courage, and trust in God's plan for our lives. Dr. Grattan Brown joins us on this episode to delve into St. John Paul II's disposition in the face of adversity and how we can overcome suffering with the same faith as this remarkable Saint.

A Papal term lasting nearly three decades, within the boom of technology capturing his legacy left and right...St. John Paul II quickly became known as the most photographed man of his time.

How did he capture the hearts and eyes of so many? What has this Catholic done to merit such attention from secular audiences? St. John Paul II knew eyes were on him, but he didn't use this attention for his own gain, but rather to bring to light cultural and political problems across the globe.

From sitting down with dictators, to spending time with children passing by, John Paul II garnered a legacy of impact. This episode we sit down with Bethany, the archivist at the St. John Paul II National Shrine to discuss how JP2 led with such conviction while remaining well liked, and how his legacy continues to impact lives today.

Truth be told, to learn of St. John Paul II is to love St. John Paul II. His hallmarks of teaching span controversial topics such as human dignity and sexuality, communicated in a way that lays a blueprint for generations to come, study, and explain the truth in confidence.

In this episode, Fr. Bill joins Eve as they discuss the basis of St. John Paul II's theology, particularly how it coincides with the issues we see in the world today. Tackling topics such as what love is, the relevance of JP2's work, and what we learn from this unapologetically intelligent Pope; this episode lays the groundwork for understanding the living legacy of St. John Paul II.

"I asked Jesus to show me if He was real, and He sure did!"

Ana was baptized Catholic, but without any follow up or catechesis, her life took a turn to exploring other spiritual practices. From witchcraft, the Hinduism, to New Age practices, she explains that these spiritualities left her feeling worse off, trying to please others gods, and finding the strength within herself to do better rather than turn to a loving God.

In the matter of about two years, Ana's life completely changed. In her last resort, Catholicism became the answer to the burning question of her heart for peace and purpose. This episode dives into her INCREDIBLE story of redemption, while touching on the help of the Saints, God's providence, and His intentional gifts to each of us!

At the St. Rita Shrine we are reminded that our wounds are evidence of God's redemption, and that they are not meant to be hidden. Rather, we live out each day as a reminder of God's glory within us, patiently and excitedly walking through life's circumstances with God.

Walking into the Confessional is no easy feat--in fact, many of us find ourselves avoiding this Sacrament.

In this episode, Fr. Jack of the St. John Neumann Shrine reveals his profound insight into the Sacrament from a Priests perspective. What do Priests think about during Confession? Do they like hearing Confessions? What if I haven't been in a while? This, plus St. John Neumann's own compelling story, is answered in this episode. Both St. John and Fr. Jack are part of the Redemptorists order, so there is no better place to be to learn about being within the walls of a Confessional and the greatest moments of redemption than from them!

A fun heart to heart with Eve Rosemary as she talks about how the speaking tour is going so far, where we are going next, and also shares some WISDOM on Lent this year!

It can be difficult to know how to approach Lent as a young person. Not knowing how to fast well yet, learning how to suffer with Jesus--oof, that's tough! This episode is a good reminder of how to unite sufferings to God this Lent and what that ACTUALLY means.

What compels a man to return to a place where his life is in imminent danger? This episode delves into the inspiring journey of Blessed Stanley Rother, a humble priest from Oklahoma who made the ultimate sacrifice for his faith and his flock.

Answering a missionary call in 1968, Father Rother served the Tz'utujil people in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. Amidst the turmoil of civil war, he became a beacon of hope, translating the New Testament into the native language and standing in solidarity with his parishioners. His unwavering commitment placed him on a death list, prompting a brief return to Oklahoma. Yet, his dedication drew him back to Guatemala, where he met martyrdom on July 28, 1981.

In this episode, we explore the profound lessons from Blessed Stanley's life:

  1. Perseverance in Vocation: Academic setbacks didn't deter his path to priesthood.
  2. Embodied Love: His actions reflected Christ's love in a war-torn community.
  3. Legacy of Faith: His sacrifice ignited numerous vocations in Santiago Atitlán.
  4. Universal Belonging: Every individual has a place within the Catholic Church.
  5. Eternal Mission: Earthly death doesn't conclude one's spiritual impact.

Join us as we honor Blessed Stanley Rother, the first U.S.-born priest and martyr to be beatified, and reflect on how his legacy continues to inspire faith and courage today.

For a visual portrayal of his life and sacrifice, watch "An Ordinary Martyr: The Life and Death of Blessed Stanley Rother"

We often hear about the Blessed Mother appearing to people, but how often do you hear about St. Joseph Apparitions?

At the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, NM, a group of Loretto Sisters asked St. Joseph to intercede for them. They needed to build stairs to their choir loft, which was never finished due to the architect tragically passing away. On the ninth day of the novena, something incredible happened that even 200 years later, pilgrims marvel at today.

This episode covers the history and miracle of the Loretto Stairs while also discussing St. Joseph the Carpenter and his intercession for us today. Men and women alike can learn from this obedient, trustworthy, and protective Saint!

Join Eve Rosemary at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, WI. This Shrine was spearheaded by the now Cardinal Burke in 1995 as a means to draw people closer to God through Marian devotion. In inspiration, Cardinal Burke knew that a Shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe would fulfill the needs to revive family devotion, which has suffered so many assaults in recent times.

Becket, the Shrine's Director of Communications, shares about the inspiration for the Shrine as a means of hope for families, a safe haven for those who have lost infants or are struggling with infertility, and Our Lady's love for her children to bring us closer to her Son. In its spiritual prominence, visitors today may receive a plenary indulgence from pilgrimaging the Shrine.

Heaven isn't a business plan. It's not something that takes only 5 steps and you've "hacked" your way to Heaven. Benji shares that the way to Jesus is actually quite simple! Through his story, we get beyond the view of faith as something to be attained but rather something to be lived. God is encountered everywhere, and our faith should never press "pause", nor should we ever assume we've "achieved" our spiritual goals. Loving God is a continuous, non-strategic, organic act!

As a chastity speaker, I traverse the country speaking to hundreds to teens about chastity and forming pure relationships. As a Catholic, I spend a majority of my talk looking at this topic from a religious lens. However, there are SO many reasons to wait for marriage, that I'm dedicating this entire episode to reasonable, non-religious reasons to save s*x for marriage.

Reason and faith always coincide, and that is evident to see in this topic. This episode can be listened to whether you're religious or otherwise, because the message applies to all. If you have a body, this topic is for you!

"Jesus, I trust in You" can sometimes feel like an empty sentiment. Truthfully, I hardly know how to trust in God and stumble within little inconveniences, mishaps throughout the day, and ruined plans. Yet, our joy and peace rests on the shoulders of our Beloved Christ.

Through this episode, we look at what it means to trust God, practical tips, and what the root of trust is. Trusting in God will transform the way that we live and the way that we interact with our daily activities, if we allow ourselves to fall into His loving embrace.
