We are a local church family on a mission to bring Christ's compassion to people at the CrossRoads of life. We recognize that we live in a world that is broken, so we are doing our best to Love God and to Love Others as Jesus has Loved Us, because we believe that is how we all can bring Heaven on Earth.
We live in a lonely world. Our world struggles so much with the issue of loneliness, it has become a public health crisis. How are we able to combat such an epidemic and is there really any hope to do so? The Proverbs certainly thinks so.
Everyone in the world today seems to be asking the same question: "What was I made for?" As people in culture continue to pursue a life of individualism it can be harder and harder to answer this question in terms of all of humanity. What were we made for?
Have you ever heard someone exclaim, "Wow." because of something you said? Why was that? Was it because your words were full of foolishness or because they were full of wisdom? The Proverbs helps us to make sure that we are using the power of our words for good.
In life we desire many different things differently. If we were asked the question: "Do you desire God most?" Would we be able to honestly answer, "Yes"? If not, why?
How do we become wise? How do we get better at life? Surprisingly, it requires fear. But, not quite the fear that we're used to thinking about.
The book of Proverbs is filled with many wise sayings across a wide range of topics and a common thread that is found across them all is their promotion of Freedom.
As we wrap up John's first letter, he gives us an inside look into where the fullness of life is truly found.
Sometimes in life it can be challenging to know if we're ever doing enough. How am I supposed to know if I'm even doing a good? What am I really supposed to do? Really, we should just do our best and...
Getting better at being loving is just like anything anything else in the world-- it takes practice. How we practice love can make all the difference in whether or not we see its effects in our lives.
If we're truly loving God in this broken world in which we exist, then loving others should come naturally. How we love others, now, that's what we need to talk about.
If we truly want to begin to discover our purpose in life in this broken world, then everything in our lives should revolve around one idea-- to love God.
As CrossRoads looks forward into the future, our vision is one of love. How then, in a world that is broken, are we able to make sense of such a complex issue?
Jesus had a simple to say command for all of his followers and yet, it is one of the hardest truths to live in our lives.
When Jesus came to Earth he taught a very specific way of living and treating others and this, this is the way.
What is that we have to tell ourselves when it comes to following Jesus' final and great commission?
Easter is a celebration every year, but what are we celebrating? How is it that the whole world was saved through one man and why did Jesus even come to the Earth in the first place? In today's message, Cooper shares about the greatest Rescue Mission that has ever taken place in history.
Often times we can become so distracted with the everyday business of life that we can miss what truly matters. In this message, Cooper helps us better understand what Jesus was teaching all throughout his ministry, but especially in his final days. He was teaching us to live like we are dying.
In this message, Cooper talks about the emphasis that Jesus placed on raising up the next generation. We all came from somewhere and we were all led by those who had gone before us no matter how long ago they were around. You could look as far back as St. Patrick if you wanted to.
Many people have a particular type of Jesus that they prefer to think about whenever he comes up. The Truth is we don't get to decide who Jesus is because made it clear who he is in his time on Earth. If we don't subscribe to the Jesus that is the Messiah and the Son of the Living God, then we have the Wrong Jesus.
Have you ever wondered what it truly takes to grow in your faith? Jesus was the greatest teacher who ever lived and he knew exactly how to make that happen. Much of it depended on the environment you were surrounded by. If our church is to be a place where anyone is able to grow into who God created them to be, then we must become Good Soil.
This message begins a new series entitled "Heaven on Earth". Over the next 6 weeks we are going to look at how following Jesus makes it possible for us to experience the realties of heaven in our everyday lives. Pastor Cooper talks about how Jesus' concludes his Sermon on the Mount with some of the most helpful and applicable teachings for any person to build their life or the life of their church on.

Pastor Cooper outlines what it looks like to be "the salt of the Earth and the light of the world" in today's culture, specifically in Syracuse, NY. The concepts that Jesus taught are timeless and this important teaching certainly applies everywhere we may find ourselves.
In this message, Pastor Mick takes us through the most controversial, yet inspiring introduction to a sermon ever. And, it wasn't just any sermon either. This was the most famous introduction, in the most famous sermon, taught by the most famous teacher ever. It is the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount preached by Jesus himself.
Knowing where to go in life can be hard and we need a guide us to help us. Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted and he emerged victorious. When we follow him, the same can be true for our lives too.
On today's message, Pastor Cooper talks about the voice we have all been given and how God has given us that voice to build His Kingdom wherever we go.
In the New Year, people are constantly asking the question: "Can I Change?". Pastor Cooper explores the idea of truly seeing your life changed through repentance as John the Baptizer personally preached about.
Pastor Cooper explains how the genealogy of the Christ found in the book of Matthew illustrates the fact that Jesus did not come from a perfect family. His family of origin was messy just like the rest of the family of God and it doesn't matter how much of a mess you may think you are, there is room in the family for all.
