This is my entry for this week and the title of this song is One Call Away by Charlie Puth because it relates to the theme this week.
I choose this song because I always helping people in need that I am just one call away if they need my help. I related to this song because I am always there for them if they have a problem. The only problem is I always hesitant to say no and putting down myself and I always said that I am a bad friend if I say no. That is why I felt drained and overthinking because I tolerate this kind of behavior so I think deserve it. Despite of this I show heroism in both good and bad way. Good because you help to resolve their problem. Bad because I didn’t know that they take my advantages and I felt loss.

I am blessie2000 and this is my entry for this week the title of this song is The Apl Song by Black Eyed Peas. I choose this song because this is my own interpretation of theme DNA.
The Story Behind This Song
The lyrics of the song are all about apl.de.ap one of the member of Black Eyed Peas who is half Filipino. He remembers the difficulties of growing up in the Philippines. He borrows the Tagalog hook borrowed from the song Balita by Asin because he wanted to tell the story to Filipinos and worldwide.
Characteristics of Filipinos
The lyrics part that struck my heart is "Everyone helpin' each other whenever they can" it means to me that Filipinos are ready to help even with small things. Filipinos are known as hospitable even if they are from different states and countries.
Challenged face during the cover of the Song
The challenge that I faced is in the rap part because this is my first time covering the song while playing ukulele it is worth it. Sorry if it is not perfect but I stuttered during the cover of this song.

I am blessie2000 and this is my entry for the theme of Luz de Estrellas in English Starlight. I chose to sing In the Stars by Benson Boone because I want to dedicate the song to my niece Laraine and to my friend Victor because they passed away last January. Last January 9 my niece Laraine died last January 10 due to complications and her body didn't absorb medicine while Victor died last January 25 due to enlargement of the heart. It was so heartbreaking to me because my loved ones are gone too early.

My name is Blessie and I am a newbie in this blogging platform. This is my first time to try blogging because I want to explore Hive since I saw it on my brother’s FB account @tpkidkai.
My friends and relatives called me “Bless”. I choose the username blessie2000 because this is my birth year and easy to remember.
Currently, I am in 2nd Year College and my course is Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I choose this course because I want to make website and learn more programming language. Currently we are studying Java and C# at first, I was struggling because I do not know how to approach my classmates as I haven't seen them yet in person.
At first, I want to give up and stop pursuing college but I realized that I am lucky that I am studying for free in the state university in our place.
My hobbies are singing, playing the ukulele, eating food, draw, reading the bible, and many more that I did not mention.
These hobbies released my stress and fulfil my life
You expect my contents will be the following:
Cover Song- I sing in minus one or playing the ukelele. Sometimes I will upload my original composition. I am doing livestreams in Tango and Kumu and I am using the username unogirl. By using those apps I was able to jam with singers and celebrities I stopped doing livestreams because I am busy with my studies.
I am diagnosed with bipolar disorder II and because of that mental health awareness is close to my heart. I experienced bullying from people because I am different and people tease me with words like "luka-luka, baliw, may sayad, abnoy and many hurtful words". I was able to endure it, but there are times that I am triggered and I cannot control my emotions. Having this disorder is hard, because I don't know when I will have such attacks. I was able to cope up by undergoing psychotherapy and it helps me a lot by communicating with others.
I want help on spreading awareness that mental illness is not seeking attention from other people and being self-centered. But rather, there are underlying factors that contribute to ones health.
I am hoping that on this platform I will be able to increase my audience and inspire other people who are having problems. I also look forward on meeting new friends virtually and learn more about life from their experiences.
