UN DÍA BASTANTE ESPECIAL
A VERY SPECIAL DAY
El día de ayer, 21/02/22, logré presentar mi trabajo de grado para optar por el título de Médico Cirujano; por fin.
Para nadie es un secreto la situación que atraviesa el país (Venezuela), y, la educación no escapa de esos problemas, sobre todo la educación universitaria; los jóvenes que aún queremos seguir adelante profesionalmente, somos pocos, y, no muchos llegan al final de la meta, por diversas razones.
Culminé mis estudios (académicamente) a mediados del 2021, luego de tantos tropiezos. Presentar mi trabajo de grado ha sido una total odisea, y ni hablar de poder recibir mi título.
Desde la problemática en la recolección de los datos, motivado por la pandemia, hasta la eliminación de mi inscripción de trabajo de grado del sistema.
Sí, mi intención era presentar mi tesis de grado en diciembre del 2021, pero, una semana antes de presentar, mi compañera y yo nos topamos con la penosa noticia de que "por error" el sistema había borrado las inscripciones de trabajo de grado de los ya inscritos, incluyéndome.
En los departamentos correspondientes hicieron hasta lo imposible por no colaborarnos, ya que, "se aproximaban las vacaciones decembrinas, que dejáramos eso para enero", y así fue.
En enero, mil trabas para resolver el problema, hasta que por fin el 15/02/22 apareció nuestro trabajo de grado inscrito en el sistema, no perdimos tiempo y programamos la defensa del mismo para una semana después.
Llenos de nervios, sentimientos encontrados y mucha ansiedad, llegó el momento de presentar; nada más gratificante que escuchar la palabra "APROBADO", fue un momento muy emotivo y emocionante.
Yesterday, 02/21/22, I managed to present my degree work to opt for the title of Medical Surgeon; finally.
The situation that the country (Venezuela) is going through is no secret to anyone, and education does not escape these problems, especially university education; We young people who still want to move forward professionally are few, and not many reach the end of the goal, for various reasons.
I finished my studies (academically) in mid-2021, after so many setbacks. Presenting my degree work has been a total odyssey, not to mention being able to receive my degree.
From the problem in data collection, motivated by the pandemic, to the elimination of my degree work registration from the system.
Yes, my intention was to present my thesis in December 2021, but, a week before presenting, my partner and I came across the sad news that the system had "mistakenly" deleted the registrations of the degree work of those already registered, including me.
In the corresponding departments they did everything possible not to collaborate with us, since, "December holidays were approaching, we should leave that for January", and that's how it was.
In January, a thousand obstacles to solve the problem, until finally on 02/15/22 our degree work registered in the system appeared, we wasted no time and scheduled the defense of it for a week later.
Full of nerves, mixed feelings and a lot of anxiety, it was time to present; nothing more gratifying than hearing the word "APPROVED", it was a very emotional and moving moment.

Para nosotros ha sido bastante tórpida y atropellada nustra carrera, para que tengan una idea, nosotros tuvimos que habernos gradruado hace aproximadamente 2 ó 3 años; pero, debido a los problemas que han ocurrido en el país: paros, protestas, etc., y, la llegada de la pandemia, todo se nos atrasó bastante. No obstante, lo logramos, gracias a Dios.
La decisión de realizar una caravana fue bastante problemática, debido a la situación pandemia, sin embargo, logramos conseguir los permisos requeridos para ello. Ya que, dentro de tantos problemas, queríamos celebrar que ya por fin estábamos terminando la carrera.
For us our career has been quite torpid and run over, to give you an idea, we had to have graduated approximately 2 or 3 years ago; But, due to the problems that have occurred in the country: strikes, protests, etc., and the arrival of the pandemic, everything was quite late. Nonetheless, we did it, thank God.
The decision to make a caravan was quite problematic, due to the pandemic situation, however, we managed to get the required permits for it. Since, within so many problems, we wanted to celebrate that we were finally finishing the race.

Luego de tanto esperar, el momento llegó, el día de nuestra caravana ya era un hecho. Muchas emociones en un solo momento, la adrenalina que corría por nuestro organismo era impresionante

La pasamos excelente, disfrutamos nuestra caravana como queríamos, todo salió muy bien; bailamos, reímos, disfrutamos como debíamos hacerlo; son momentos que solo se viven una vez y hay que drisfrutarlos.
We had an excellent time, we enjoyed our caravan as we wanted, everything went very well; we danced, we laughed, we enjoyed as we should; These are moments that you only live once and you have to enjoy them.

Luego de todo, me fui a mi casa junto a mi familia, donde allí me tenían preparado un compartir; la mejor manera de terminar el día.
