Midnight Convo: Recent Episodes
Coffee & Soju
We talk about things, everything. From a cute dog we saw at the bakery to the recent economic and political turmoils. You know, a random convo you would overhear in a random coffee shop.
Episode 2 - Moving to another location, which was a place that provided good drinks disguised as a restaurant, Friend A and Via once again rambled on and on about different topics. We started by talking about introvert vs extrovert, and our personal personality types. Referring to our own respected experiences, we then talked about social anxiety and isolation from society. On the topic of society, we then went on and on about “taking action” and our opinion on schools advocating doing so, as well as the stereotypical view on high school. Following through, we then discussed work-life balance and the importance of maintaining it. At the end of the episode, we also discussed other topics we would like to talk about in future episodes!
Mekong Merchant: The restaurant was very beautiful as the entrance was cutely decorated with fairy lights. We did want to record the episode inside but there were some very loud people inside so we moved outside. It had red-orange lighting which gave it a very heart-warming vibe, accompanied by tea!
sitting in a new cafe at 9pm, we rambled about the significance of food in terms of culture, cultural diversity, the pros and cons of being whitewashed, different school systems, and taste in music, and all sorts of other little things.
