In today’s episode:
There are coaches or people who are interested to build a coaching career.
Karim’s question is very simple.
How to use the coaching techniques, this concept of helping others unleash their potential and to help them see things that in the normal days and the busy days, they can see it?
How we can use this, to implement a culture or to help an organization builds the culture within their business?

In today’s episode:
We have a lot of revolving doors in organizations, people leaving and trying to come in and when you ask people, Why they're quitting?
It has to do with things like flexible work hours or having a meaning and purpose in the work, having strong cultures.
But if you read about what's happening in the newspaper companies are trying to solve it with money, with compensation.
Ironically, you might attract people to come to your organization for a higher paycheck, but you will lose them very quickly if you do not create meaning in the work and create a culture that matters.
How important culture is today?
A quote that I came up with, is:
“Culture Is to Recruiting And Retention As Food Is To Hunger”.

Today Karim is going to start by asking a simple question.
Imagine yourself running with an emergency to a hospital and when you reach the hospital, you're going to be looking for some help.
So, the first thing you're going to be looking for is someone with a white coat.
If you find each and everyone who are in casual clothes, it's going to be difficult for you to trust that they can help you. As we are wired that the doctor has to be in a white coat.
We trust people based on the way that we see them and we get credibility, of the credibility that they're having.

What to do and what not to do when it comes to tasks?
Now the tasks are what your clients agreed to do, after each and every session, you may finish the session without tasks, this can happen.
But usually, in most cases, you're going to finish the session with a couple of actions, that the client has agreed that he is going to do them.
Before coming to meet you during the next session, or maybe immediately. So those are the actions that your clients he committed that he got to do them.

Karim has been elaborating on the importance to differentiate Coaching from Mentoring from Counseling from any Chat with another person.
We highlighted those differences and how important it is to know what we are doing exactly when we are coaching, or when we are mentoring or doing any other teaching or even training.
Today, Karim is going to highlight the importance of Mentoring in coaching. It may sound a bit strange. But yeah, there's Mentoring and coaching.
It is not happening when you are as a coach coaching your clients. It's happening when you are improving. And you are getting better at your skill of coaching, whether at the beginning or even during your journey of coaching.
There’re always things to improve, there's always things to get better. We highlighted before that any coach needs to have a coach because this is a growth journey that one won't stop.
Coaching is a continuous growth journey, we're going to keep growing, keep developing ourselves, and keep getting value from others so that we can add value to our clients and whoever is getting the benefit of our coaching.
What's Mentoring for us as coaches?

Our best way to approach these situations is to have an open conversation, when you have to work as a coach and a business owner, the first thing you have to do is understand your clients.
So, we have to deeply understand them through our capacity of active listening to understand what are the rules and what's the game, they're going to play.

Karim has been elaborating and exploring the concepts of personality types, and how important it is to master those personality types in order to reach a better connection and better communication with our coaching client.
Mastering the personality types is going to help us know exactly the preferences of any person who is with us and is going to help us know what he wants, what he prefers, which is the best way of communication with him.
Today we will get to know one of the main tools of personality assessment, which is the DISC, and why we are choosing the DISC?
Because this is the most the simplest one, at least in the beginning stage, it's very simple since basically, we're talking about the main, four dominant personalities in the DISC while there are 16 in the MBTI and around eight or nine in the Enneagram.

They have been married for 20 years, have 5 incredible children, have lived through numerous moves and military deployments while raising their family- all while discovering the special needs that two of the children were born with.
They have endured hardship and have built joyful resilience through the process.
They love to travel, meet new people, eat good food, and are completely hooked on helping families transform their lives from chaos and tension into lives lived with purpose and passion.
In today’s episode, Karim will be discussing with them the importance of the family. and the top values of love for each and everyone in it.
Family is one of the important things. Family is important. But the question is, are we treating this area, the way it needs to be treated?
Are we giving it what it needs to have? Are we really prioritizing it when it comes to time, when it comes to being open, when it comes to learning, when it comes to growth, when it comes to development, and so on and so forth?
So this is one of the most important topic's impacts and one of the most important fields of coaching.

4- Connection usually is going to depend on the type of coach you are, the area that you are coaching in, on whether it's one-to-one or group.
5- It depends on so many areas and criteria.
6- Everything is going to start from the point that we reach a good level of connection.

The first time I read Robert Kiyosaky book Rich Dad Poor dad, I felt as if Robert was talking about me and telling my story. How was that and how it was reflected on my entrepreneurial life?
I still remember that night in Nusa Dua in Bali like yesterday, It was the last holiday I’ve had while I was working as an employee,
It seems that the beauty of the place and the moment played a big part in pushing me to quit my job and start the entrepreneurial experience .
That night was very special, as during which I tasted one of the best dishes I’ve ever experienced until that day.
Both me and my wife couldn’t decide what to eat that night, while enjoying a second to non breeze and the magic sound of the beach waves so we decided to ask the waiter to recommend something for us , as we usually do when we travel. The rest is a new, different, strange, amazing taste of a well done Mie goreng with such a mixing of texture, colours, spices, smells, I still can feel the taste now
I wanted to share that today,
I’m a big fan of food, and cooking new things in general, in fact
my wife always tells me that I’m the king of sandwiches, of all types, as well as Pizzas and Crepes, I’ve my own set of pans and other tools in the Kitchen as cooking is a moment of joy for me with each meal of dish I cook, especially when I see Ihssen or the kids enjoying each every bite or spoon.
Considering the fact that I’ve lived in 3 continents, and being a big fan of travel, I’m having fun mixing different cuisines that I’ve experienced and tasted in different parts of the world and usually it works great, with new tastes.
I’m really thinking of opening a restaurant, or small sandwich chain, after a few years.
In fact I guess what attracted me to this entrepreneurial word, or business building, coaching, and maybe restaurants, was the fact that I’m a true living example of Robert Kiyosaki Book : Rich Dad, Poor Dad,
I remember the first time I’ve read the book, I said, Boy, he’s talking about me, as my Dad how was an Assist Agriculture Engineer, was educated, a big reader, and very strict in terms or rules and importance of education and did his best to pass the same to us, My eldest brother, my Sister and me, He amazingly succeeded with the help of my mother to manage the limited employment salary to grant us a decent life, without a feel that we’re poor, and to make sure we all succeed our education and get good jobs. On the other hand, I had my uncle, my mother’s brother, who was not educated at all, and had a mechanics garage. My uncle, in fact was almost the only one not educated in both my father and my mother families, but he was doing more than all my aunts and uncles doing together, living a good life, travelling whenever he wants, helping whoever in need in the family and loved by everyone, and mostly enjoying and loving his job.
It happens that the big family spend the summer holidays in my uncle’s big house, fully sponsored by him, and I was always watching and admiring him, in fact my first business, immediately after graduated from the university was a car repair center, I don’t thing it was a random choice, I guess both consciously and unconsciously I was positively inspired by my Rich dad.
I’ll say that I was very lucky living between those 2 world, and my life got shaped by both of them, yes I learned the importance of entrepreneurship and freedom from my oncle, after 3 decades of my life I got the habit of books reading from my dad, and today I’m doing an average of 50 books per year, I even started writing books, so …
This is my story between a Rich Dad and strict to the rules dad.

My Mentor John C Maxwell always says, “ Be A River not a Reservoir” highlighting the importance of sharing acquired knowledge” as by adding value to others you add value to yourself. Why I’ve decided to consider teaching Marketing as one of the things I may do in the future.
I’ve shared before, my passion for marketing and how I’m learning about it every day, as everything business raises and falls on marketing not only these days, but since ever, marketers and copy writers were among the highly paid individuals and agencies hired by companies .
Same as any other professional coaches who are selling intangible life changing packages need to have solid and strategic marketing plans to build a solid business and generate a constant flow of leads and customers.
So one of my future plans is once well equipped with the knowledge and tools, I may start helping coaches by teaching them marketing.
In fact, even if you are going to hire someone who’s going to run your ads, or a person who’s going to create your funnels, or someone to work on your copy
and mostly, you’re going to do that, it’s extremely important to have the basics of marketing to be able to understand and assess what’s going on in your business,
Finally and this is with what many entrepreneurs miss, as being the visionary of your business, understanding the basics of marketing will equip you with the right pair of glasses that will allow you see the movement, the trends, and activities in the market, and see what’s working in your niche and what’s not, where to invest ( In terms of platforms) and where not, and so one

I quickly realized that there wasn't a job that was really calling me, there wasn't something that I was really passionate about, because it wasn't for me.
If I have the capabilities and knowledge to actually build up towards creating a business, as well as the confidence to keep it going and move it forward? Then why not test it out?
I trusted myself enough to actually start honing my skill.
It was a bit difficult for me to accept that just by speaking with someone you can change his life.
I kept on getting training, looking for trainings, summits, advices and stuff like that, I was doing everything to develop my skills, and not myself.
The other advice I'd give for coaches is, quite frankly, just go out and try. You're going to learn so much about yourself and do this process, both of coaching others and yourself when you're in that experience.

Why do the majority of coaches never quit their 9-5 jobs, and miss on the biggest gains and benefits of being a coach? And how to overcome that and be the coach we always dreamt to be?
End of 2019, few months before the COVID pandemics starts, I was delivering a series of Leadership Coaching training in the middle-east,
during one of the events, one participant was really good, very active in her participation, adding lots of value to the session, to me and to the group,
the second day I had small chat with her during one of the breaks,
I discovered that almost same as what happened to me years before, this was not her first training, in fact, yes she was there to develop her leadership skills, but despite the fact that she is a certified coach since over 3 years, she was still doing mostly free sessions to friends and some very low fees hours to some referred clients.
When I asked her why she’s not practicing professionally, and building her coaching business, she literally answered me: I have a good government job right now with a decent salary, and I’m scared that if I quit and launch my coaching business, it will not reward me financially the way I’m making now!”
This is not a special case, or a special story, of a single separate coach, In fact,
I discovered through my journey of coaching, that the majority of coaches never leave their 9-5 jobs and one of the main reasons is their lack of confidence that they can convert the new coaching business into an official income generating source, similar or more valuable to their existing one.
This way unfortunately,
even after getting well trained as a coach,
they will gradually lose the passion of building the coaching skill,
and then get more and more less confident in building a coaching business and even in their capability to add value and deliver life changing coaching.
which is to put it in another word,, they will lose the Freedom, they were seeking from the beginning
Considering this I created a model, that is allowing coaches overcome this doubt, fear and lack of trust, and go through a safe bridge that will allow their pass from 9-5 employee job, to a the real freedom, to practice their coaching professionally, and work when they want, where they want and only with those who they want to work with and making more than what they were doing.
A kind of transition program, towards their dreams.

How do you see the importance of being available in different areas, whether to just add value or to do work like whether I will say that whether pro bono for free or like working on these different areas and aspects, how important it is for a coach to build his coaching business?
I believe you need more life experience at this called Life Coach life coaching
you need some years, add on, to your coaching in order to be able to really understand
a coach has to be empathetic
you have to be able to put yourself in other people's shoes
Dealing with different niches, is it going to affect your business?
it's an added value to you as a coach and your experience becomes wider
There is no big difference between how you implement your coaching style
it is about the added value
it is about connection

Since couple of years, I decided to explore and learn about psychology,
as this is a field that I’ve found directly related to the behaviour, and mind process.
Since my whole new life was around business launch and Startup up, I’ve found in the consumer behaviour an area that amazed me with all it’s continues changing and search of pattern,
This passion about the topic, led me to start a deep learning journey about marketing, strategies, techniques, tactics and all the related topics. And that mixing between psychology and marketing really represented my favorite taste these days, and the more I learn, the more I enjoy more and the more I need more, it’s simply amazing.
I decided to learn from a variety of sources and leaders in the field, to have a generic understanding, before creating my own ideas, leaders like Daniel Kahneman, Robert Cialdini, Charl Duhigg, Malcom Gladwell, Dan Heath, Chan Kim, Seth Godin and the list is long.
I even reached a point to say that everything rises and falls on marketing,
whether when it comes to individuals searching for job,
a businessman searching for partner
or a sports team looking for sponsors, it all depends on how the individual or organization markets themselves, their product or their vision…
ways are different, approaches are different, and tools as well are different, From writing your copy
Running Ads
Organic tools to bring traffic
creating the best funnel that convert
passing by email marketing and the list is long
I really found lots of fun and value in these topics, and highly recommend exploring it at least lightly, by any coach or professional linked to the coaching industry.

I was always interested to learn about successful people, independently of field of success, whether in technology, science, music, art, literature and how they reached and achieved their success, what motivated them, how they got their breakthroughs, their environment, and despite the fact of some similarity in few behaviours, environment, and other criteria, what differentiated them was way than the similarities, which led me to be fully convinced that
Every human being is full of potential and deserves to discover it to accomplish the mission he’s on earth for. I hardly believe in that.
I believe also that coaching is the best technique that helps us think, and ignite that potential.
In other words, I believe that coaching is THE way to get the true you from you.
Many people come to live, and leave it with their gift inside, never discovered, never used for their benefit and for the humanity in general.
Just , let’s think about the big inventions and discoveries in our history, and let’s imagine, those scientists, researchers, philosophies , and other great people, didn’t get the opportunity, to think, to ask questions and to discover life changing things that you and I and billions on this earth are getting benefits of them every day.
To succeed in this mission to help people discover their potential,
having the basic technical skill of coaching is not enough nowadays, with the speed of development and change ,in marketing, technology, behaviour, … a new wholestic approach that equip coaches with the psychological knowledge, Behavioural knowledge, business building and all the needed knowledge is a must,
in fact it’s the only way to be able to help people and organizations go through the vision and dream journey and experience the breakthroughs they are chasing.

Emotional intelligence is probably the most valued currency in the business world right now.
My skills, my role as a husband, is to make my wife love her more than she could love me.
The by-product of emotional intelligence is the more you make somebody else successful, the greater they wish you to be.
How is this concept that you've been describing going to be applied within the roof of an organization or a company?
It is my job to make his or her job as easy as it can be during this working day.
you have guaranteed business success. That's called cooperation of health.
Not one person is firing at the same level of emotional intelligence as the next person.
We're all born with interpersonal skills, they get reshaped and somewhat manufactured during the early part of our lives.
You know, your job isn't to change that person. But your job is to help influence the belief of confidence in our person.
You know, your job as a coach is to improve the efficiency.
