Michigan squeaked by Bye Week and Ohio State didn't exactly burn up the field against Northwestern.
Nebraska has lost 9 straight games with bowl-eligibility on the line. This week is probably must-win for Michigan to make a bowl game, is must-win (along with next week against Rutgers) for Michigan State to make a bowl game, is probably must-win for USC to make a bowl game, the winner of Wisconsin-Nebraska is bowl eligible.
Michigan goes into their showdown with Northwestern and Ohio State gets possible cupcake Indiana for another probable Top 5 win in our Game of the Week.
Oregon & Ohio State are clearly the top 2 in the Big Ten this year. But does Penn State belong in the Big __? What about undefeated Indiana? Or would both of them be in the Little...in this case...16?
Ohio State dominated Purdue. Michigan almost pulled an upset in Bloomington -- words Adam has never spoken before in his life.
And Adam just wants to sim to next season while Zack is more confident than ever that OSU will win the National Championship.
James Franklin just keeps losing big games and keeps getting contract extensions. At what point do they cut bait or is this acceptable or is this just good enough?

This was recorded before the Big Ten said there would be no punishment for anyone relating to the skirmish that started when an MSU DL hit Colston Loveland in the face during a kneel down.
Ohio State struggled but the bigger concern might be their LT depth. Big (noon) game on the road against Penn State but it's dumb it's not a night game.

Probably the best playoff in this era as Michigan beats Alabama by 7 in overtime and Washington beats Texas by 6. Should be a great National Championship featuring the clear two best teams in the country, with contrasting styles and philosophies! Also, win or lose for Michigan and Adam might not survive Monday night if it's another crazy game.

To nobody's surprise, the Big Ten East representative (Michigan) beat the Big Ten West representative (Iowa) again. RIP Big Ten West. There's also a growing exodus out of Columbus -- we'll both wait and see who transfers in before making any judgments on the severity.

Ohio State struggled again to the point that Zack has real concerns about the Buckeyes for the first time since Adam has known him. Crazy. We had some technical difficulties but that couldn't stop us from talking about the incredible week of marquee games that was college football week 3.
Michigan "struggled" 31-6 and Ohio State won a lot to a little. Also, Georgia struggled with South Carolina, Florida State beat a bad Boston College on a last second field goal, Penn State struggled with Illinois, Kansas State lost to Missouri, Alabama looked real bad against USF, Tennessee lost to Florida, Colorado State took Deion to overtime, and Texas only beat Wyoming by 21. After RichRod and Brady Hoke (and to a lesser extent, Harbaugh's ancient struggles against Ohio State) Adam is just happy to be at a point in human history where a 31-6 Michigan win causes this much discussion.
Adam was an absolute flamethrower with his picks, getting the show's first ever undefeated week at 13-0. The guys answer a couple of viewer questions: 1) What’s a realistic record for Colorado for the rest of the year?; 2) Who should MSU target for their head coaching search?

Michigan repeats as Big Ten Champion with a 43-22 win over Purdue in a game that looked a lot like Michigan games this year -- a low scoring first half giving way to an eventual blowout fueled by suffocating defensive adjustments and big runs. Ohio State is able to keep their dream of a rematch with Michigan and a potential National Championship alive as Utah beat USC again, this time in their own blowout.
Is the blowout against Utah enough to keep the Heisman from Caleb Williams? Adam and Zack agree on their thoughts on Williams as well as on Stetson Bennett possibly being the worst Heisman finalist of all-time. Is Adam okay with Blake Corum not making it to New York after giving MSU fans crap occasionally over their unsuccessful pushing of Kenneth Walker as a Heisman finalist? Then on to the Rapid Fire Turd Pile Big Ten Bowl Game Predictions and a couple of thoughts to wrap up the 2022 regular season of college football.
Moving back into basketball, Ohio State lost a close game on the road to Duke while Michigan lost two close games, against Virginia and Kentucky. Both Ohio State and Michigan play a struggling North Carolina team in a couple of weeks, as well as a Big Ten game and a buy game.

OSU sneaks by Northwestern and Michigan starts slow against Rutgers but let's just focus on the nonsense that is the Big Ten West. Awful. Plus a little bit of basketball talk and one more shot towards MSU's amazingly great culture by Adam because of tiny Tom Izzo's giant mouth.
Beating someone with a football helmet for, worst case, talking trash, is never admirable regardless of what the MSU beat and fanbase says. Moving on, Blake Corum is good and MSU is not. Penn State gave Ohio State a little scare but ended up losing comfortably.

March Madness is here! We jump right in looking at Michigan and Ohio State's first round games and then talk about how far we think each will go and say what we think needs to happen for them to make a run -- if they each win 2 they'll meet in the Sweet 16 and we'll legally be required to go.

Adam is wondering: Is it a shock to anyone that Brad Davison elbowed Hunter Dickinson's ribs then walked away with his hands up or slid underneath Devante Jones' feet then walked away with his hands up? No? Then is it a shock when Brad Davison's head coach initiated contact then acted like he was just being a nice guy or an assistant coach (who was the Brad Davison of his day) initiated contact with two players then acted like he was feeding orphans before crazy Juwan swung for no reason only to walk away with serious injuries? Adam thinks we shouldn't be surprised because the motto for Wisconsin basketball is: "Instigate, escalate, walk away. Wisconsin basketball."

Ryan Day quitting Ohio State to buy a now-infamous bar from his embattled predecessor may not have happened but Adam wanted to bring it up. It being embattled Urban Meyer selling his now-infamous Columbus bar.

These next few weeks (3 Top 10 matchups, plus at currently-ranked Purdue, plus against currently 4-2 Maryland I guess) might tell us more about MSU than a bunch of teams who will struggle to make a bowl game. In Tucker's defense he did finish a full Covid season last year, he just went 2-5.
