Jesus is continuing our previous convo "Why must I Fight Gain, Jesus?" with a new focus in this episode.
There is a clear call from Him to those of us who have been wandering in the wilderness of deconstruction, disillusionment, and loss in the last few years.
Come back to Me. . .
As I stand in the transitional place between the borders of my wilderness and the borders of my promised land, Jesus is calling me back gently into the good fight and teaching me how to engage in the process of restoration, reconstruction, and redemption.
Jesus is calling my disillusioned, disconnected heart back into the fold, reminding me why I need to re-engage in the fight of faith again.
In this convo, "Why must I fight again, Jesus?", Jesus gives me TWO compelling reasons that galvanized me into my calling again.
If you are in disconnected and disillusioned in your faith walk by Christians, Christianity, or past church experience, this short recording might encourage you.
I felt His deep compassion for the disillusioned as I recorded this podcast. He really hears us, even the pain that caused us to leave the fold.
And moved by compassion, He is leaving the 99 for one who was left behind.
Much peace & healing to you as you listen in.
Where does Jesus stand on grief? Let His own actions and words speak for themselves.
Sitting Shiva is the week-long mourning period in Judaism for first-degree relatives. Its primary purpose is to provide a time for spiritual and emotional healing, where mourners join together. Grief and lamentation are an essential part of our spiritual journey with Jesus, where Emmanuel sits with us through our sorrow, and our pain and becomes to us Comforter, Healer. - Rapha Navigating pain is precious to Jesus. He is tender with the broken reeds and can be trusted not to bruise that are already vulnerable and hurting. Learning to sit with Jesus in our sorrow is a life-transforming experience that results in having an intimate relationship with God.
"Grief and Glory" is gonna explore His heart, his true heart because grief and glory are two sides of his multifaceted, loving heart.

Welcome to the Intro episode of the Series called "Grief & Glory".
Did you know that God can both carry joy and sorrow, both simultaneously, and do so wholeheartedly and healthily?
Maybe, in our assertions as believers - that we want to go where God is going, be led by the Spirit etc. . .- we need to seek Him in both these things while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus?
Here's a Selah moment - a pause and reflect moment - from this episode: The promise of Isaiah 61, the very passage that Jesus read out loud in his hometown synagogue at the beginning of his ministry, is a promise that contains an exchange. God is ready to give us joy, health, and freedom in exchange for something from us.
And the word of God and Jesus say it loud and clear right in this passage that what Jesus came looking for from us is NOT PRAISE. IT'S NOT HOLINESS.
Incarnate God doesn't want our praise. He is already enthroned in the praises of innumerable beings. No. The Father came and is coming and looking for someone to love. Someone to carry, Someone to give something to.
"Grief and Glory" is gonna explore His heart, his true heart because grief and glory are two sides of his multifaceted, loving heart.

Hello there! Today, the need to constantly flow in the grace of God so freely available for me as a mom of two small children really grounds me. Especially when the precious Holy Spirit puts this humbling insight in my heart: "Shayani, you realize that as a mom, you are only as old as your oldest child, right?"
Wow! That's how kind He is to me. To us. His angle is always, always full of kindness.
And that is the place from which I am sharing this episode with you today - Am I enough for you Beloved? Please ground yourself, with me, in the Presence as we start this episode. And may you be superabundantly blessed by the grace and kindness of the Father!
Thank you for your time,
sincerely,
Shayani

This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the LORD. “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the LORD Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house. Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
We are in a season of acting like the true sons and daughters of God we are. As part of that reality, we are to learn how to reign and rule over the spiritual atmosphere with the supernatural weapons of God. Not only do we have to engage the correct realm in our offensive against the enemy, we also have to deploy the correct weapons. Take a listen to understand what I mean. Thanks 👍
2 Corinthians 1:20: For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ, and so through Him, the Amen is spoken by us to the glory of God.
What is Abba's heart towards me? Is it a mystery? And where does He stand with regards to blessing me? What do I need to do to receive His blessing? Do I need to do anything?
"In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!" Hebrews 5:12 (NIV The secret to a life of overcoming is maturity in Jesus Christ. The way to maturity is developing and harnessing spiritual discernment, which brings us brings wisdom and fruitfulness. Learning to listen to the voice of Jesus opens us to the heart of the Father, where we learn to fear the Lord rightly. And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
