Season Finale! Change is inevitable. Learning to navigate change during life transitions when we are so invested in the outcome can preoccupy our thoughts with worry, cause excessive stress and distract us from remembering that Allah is facilitating our affairs for us in the Best of Ways.
Allah (swt) instructs us to “persistently stand firm for Him and be witnesses in justice and not let (the) hatred of people prevent us from being just” (5:8).
Though it is our duty as Muslims to stand for justice it can be utterly overwhelming because there is no shortage of movements to support and causes to advocate for. No matter who you are or what your background is you can make a difference, even when the world is indifferent. Your voice matters whether you stand up for Black lives, Palestine, the Uyghurs or any other people who are oppressed. How will you use it?
