Eat Laugh FIGHT | podcast is where 3 friends who are pursuing their food, comedy, and mixed martial arts passions and also share interests in them as well.
We get together weekly to talk with each other, as well as guests like local food and drink purveyors, comics, and other people involved in mixed martial arts who we find interesting.

This week we tried to get the 3 of us together to catch up since the three of us haven't been available to podcast together for a few weeks, and the trend continues because Chris had to work later than expected and couldn't make it. So James and Matt do some catching up and talk about Matt's trip to Detroit for work, how the fight card that Matt had to withdraw from due to a training injury, as well as how the "Unusual Suspects Comedy Show" went, and the Benefit show that James will be hosting on May 3rd, and horror movies.

This week I sit down with Returning guest Cris Rodriguez and the house MC at The Parlor Live, Manny Martin. we talk about comedy and have a lot of laughs in the "castcave"! These two are a lot of fun to hang out with and It was great to have them both on the podcast.

This week Matt Juarez was at the fight that he had to withdraw from due to injury while training to watch and support 6 Feet Under MMA Fight Team with coach Travis Doerge. Chris and James sit down with another new comedian J Rock after he started a Facebook campaign to get on the podcast by posting photos of food he made at home and Tagging Eat Laugh Fight in them. He's a cool guy and I always enjoy seeing him at different open mics around Seattle and Tacoma WA.

We spent the first weekend in March on Whidbey Island, in Coupeville, WA. for our 6th year hanging out at the Penn Cove mussel fest. Chris Garr volunteers his time to do cooking demonstrations representing Ivar's Acres of Clams, and we make it a full weekend, hanging out and enjoying food, and LOTS of drinks! this Year we sat down with Rawle Jefferds, Joseph Labatt, Big Steve Clarke, and a quiet, but great guy Charlie after hanging out in the beer tent listening to live music.
Just a warning, we basically brought a party to Chris' room and this episode gets to be a hot mess! We interrupt each other, repeat ourselves a couple times, end up having multiple conversations at once, and there are people being loud in the background. But we had a blast hanging out, and despite the craziness talked about some great stuff regarding Penn Cove Shellfish LLC, and the people who make that company so valuable to the community, as well as what makes Penn Cove Shellfish important to the local culinary industry. We also get some great insight into the culinary industry here in Seattle in general.

I sit down with returning guest Brian Myers, the marketing and sales manager for Uli's Famous Sausage after dinner and (a lot) drinks on out first night in Coupeville, WA. for the 2014 Penn Cove mussel Fest.
Brian and I decided to do a test run after setting up the new equipment "on the road" for the first time. After we scratched our heads for a while getting things rolling we talked about the place we were staying in that night, what its like working for Uli Lengenberg and where Brian grew up, and Coupvillopoly!
Matt hit record while Chris and James finished cooking the food before the podcast. it gets a little crazy with everyone having their own conversatons and eating. Enjoy!

This week Chris made some delicious food for everyone to eat during the podcast although we ended up eating before recording after we stuffed our faces. Chris made some yellow curry coconut steamed mussels, house smoked Pork belly Sliders with Tomato-basil Chutney, and Gorgonzola Gratin with seared, rare beef and topped with some Gorgonzola cheese. all of those things are DELICIOUS and are on Chris' menu at Ivar's Acres of Clams in Seattle, WA.
