In Acts 14:1-7, we find Paul and Barnabas boldly proclaiming the Gospel despite facing fierce opposition in Iconium. Their unwavering faith and perseverance, fueled by the joy of knowing Christ, enable them to press forward amidst trials. The Spirit of the Lord testifies to the message of grace through signs and wonders, affirming the truth of the Gospel and drawing souls to Christ. Just as Paul and Barnabas found joy and strength in serving the Lord, we too are called to live with joy for the Lord and press forward in the face of opposition, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit to sustain us. As we honor Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, let us commit ourselves to prayer, fasting, and the diligent pursuit of holiness, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain.
In this follow up message to How to enjoy rest and rejuvenation, Pastor Andrew encourages believers to remember the tremendous blessing of the Sabbath which involves both time for Rest and Kingdom Work.After all, those who are in Christ are both benefactors of His blessing and workmanship. Today, as we look to the Word of God, we will explore a profound truth that may get your ‘back up’ at first. There is no advancement for the gospel without opposition. As we allow scripture to inform and formulate our soul, we will understand and understand that there is no advancement for the gospel without opposition. In this message be encouraged to press on in our mission to advance the gospel, even amid opposition. Let us embrace prayer and fasting as powerful weapons in our spiritual arsenal and stand firm in our faith, knowing that God is with us every step. Rising Above the Roof: Faith that Heals. The story of a band of four bringing a paralytic man to Jesus presents a great challenge to believers in Christ today.Do you profess in Christ, our Faith Tears Down Barriers and Restores Wholeness? Does Jesus meet our needs?These four had the 'faith' that Jesus would deliver on this, all they needed to do was gird themselves to get this man to JESUS. They kept the faith, did their part, and layed him before the 'will' of Jesus.Check out Jesus response in verse 5, "seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, "Son your sins are forgiven".When others questions whether Jesus could or would come to this mans aid, or if He had the authority to do so - the four believed in Jesus. That's what counts!Thank God one does not have to prove their faith, our mighty God and saviour sees our heart of faith, no matter the degree. He always sees.Coming to Jesus is never the wrong decision.
In this message, Pastor Andrew concludes the Next Steps sermon series in the book of Galatians. In all of one's steps, the greatest is keeping in step with the Spirit of God. This means the difference between sowing for life and sowing for destruction. In all, walking by the Spirit, can seem like a big ask, but that's the deception of the enemy against the voice of truth, who is Christ in you - the hope of glory. The truth is keeping in step with the Spirit is possible for every believer, because of their union with Jesus Christ. It's the IN-CHRIST factor. Simply, in Christ all things are possible. Now say that out loud! Get that in your soul. Let that direct your thought life. Speaking the name of Jesus pushing every 'other' voice aside. IN CHRIST, we have the means in abundance to keep in step with the Spirit. We have all we need to cultivate fruit in our lives to the glory of God. Jesus invites all who call on Him and receive His hand of fellowship, by grace by faith, to follow His voice. He promises to lead his followers out of darkness and into the newless of life, which embodies the light of God's kingdom. Pastor Andrew exhorts those in Christ to see that all righteous steps will be affirmed by the Spirit. It's not about what we 'feel', but rather what we know to be true. It's a matter of status and the fact that we are in Christ. Living by 'feelings' alone can get Christians into trouble. Jesus did not say, do what you 'feel' is right. No, He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. His invitation is always based in the wisdom and truth of God's will and purposes. His invitation is to walk in the truth of the gospel. Reaping not to the 'flesh' and wordly desires, but by what they know to be true for them in Christ. Gleaning wisdom from Galatians 6:11-18, we discover that the knowledge of God and his saving work through Jesus on the cross, as revealed in Scripture - makes us wise for salvation. The revelation of newness of life at the day of the Lord is also being manifested here and now. Living in the promise of the finished work. Now, as new creation - IN CHRIST!The Spirit of God testifies to this union in Christ, a sweet truth for all who profess faith in Jesus. Through Jesus' finished works at Calvary, all the passions and desires of the flesh have been crucified—an exhaustive encompassing list. As a result, believers can claim this is truth each and every day and walk in dominion over the 'draw' of the flesh, because they are drawing life from Christ who is their very life.This life means believers have the liberty to sow not in obligation to the flesh, but to life through the Spirit. And yet when we falter, Christ's finished works remain true. We are saved and empowered to endure and get back up in the power of the Spirit to live our life forward to the glory of the Lord.
Do miracles still happen? The Apostle Paul believes this for all Christians as they desire to sow the things of the spirit, over the deeds of the flesh.Jesus said the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. All people, let alone Christians know this to be true. Except followers of Jesus are not without hope. The beauty of the Christian life one is never alone. We have the promised provision of heaven, our mighty God and saviour, faithful counselor of the Holy Spirit who counsels and teaches us, as well as empowers us to minister and speak to one another from a place of a deep-seated love for the Lord who saved us and calls us to love one another.This love involves restoring a brother or sister in the Lord when they 'miss-step'. This is already difficult enough in a world that is so counter to biblical truth and principles. That is why it's so important for believers to remember they are loved and have a host of fellow believers cheering them on. Sharing an incredible freedom and mutual responsibility to one another.In this message, Pastor Andrew encourages Christians to not be quick to refuse the counsel of a brother or sister in the Lord, who is following the biblical call to restore the one who has 'miss-stepped'. Miracles happen when fellow believers are seen as teammates instead of the enemy. The evil is not speaking out in love, the evil is the enemy of our souls winning out in deceiving us into thinking we are better off with the love and fellowship of the body of Christ. As we encourage, exhort, and rebuke one another to keep in step with the Holy Spirit - miracles will happen because God's commanded blessing is there!!!
In God's Presence, You Are More Than A ConquerorChristians are not gladiators in an inch-by-inch battle of life and death to obtain acceptance in God's glorious Kingdom. Rather by grace through faith in Jesus victorious works, all Christians are justified, members of the family of God, seated at His table, and conferred with the Kingdom of God and Divine power.This divine power involves blessing upon blessing, abounding in grace, enabling Christians to have all they need for life and godliness. In light of all these great precious promises, Pastor Andrew encourages Christians to live in the now! The freedom to 'rest' in Christ and 'press forward' in heavenly calling, all of life's challenges, along the path of victory He blazed for us. The victory is already won. In Jesus his followers always win!The Apostle Paul, who knew 'trouble', declared in JESUS, WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERS! Whether in death, or suffering, and in trouble of varying kinds. We always WIN! Glory to God in the highest heaven :)What is left for us? The production of godly fruit, that is the works Christians do. The glorious fruit of sanctification, on route to eternal life. Following in the footsteps of Jesus, on the path He secured for all who look to Him. It is in this understanding, Christians can 'rest' in the presence of God, which manifests in every believer through the reading of the Word, revelation through His Spirit, and grace to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. In Christ, we are more than conquerors. WE ALWAYS WIN!
How do we respond to all the terror and evil in the world? At this point in history, the events in the Middle East, especially against Israel - the people of the LORD are at the forefront of the news. Yet, this is nothing new under the sun. In fact, Jesus informs all who will listen, as accounted for in the scripture, that this enmity will continue time and again until His return, because those who engage in such terror against the people of God are following their father, the ancient serpent, Lucifer the Devil. In this message based in Luke 21, Pastor Andrew invites Christians to respond to terrorful events on the world stage and domestically, as Jesus would have us respond. Jesus instructs us to not be troubled. He is not saying Christians are to be impervious to terror and evil of many kinds. In fact, experiencing emotions is part of being human. Made in the image of God. Able to experience the power and presence of God. However, Jesus' point is that Christians who place their hope in Him, do not dwell in the trouble and alarm of terror and evil, to the point we lose perspective of our hope in Him.In v.28 of chapter 21, Jesus says when you see all the events of wars, famines, and great disasters, do not be troubled or alarmed. Instead, look up, and lift your head, because your redemption is near.Jesus' return is closer than it was yesterday. He is not slow in His return (2 Peter 3:1-9). Rather, God's timetable is perfect. He knows when He has planned for Christ's return. His delay is not cruel, instead highlights God's kindness (Romans 2:8), so that all may turn from their sin against God and enjoy right relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. Psalm 107:1 is a powerful poetic reminder of our how GOOD we truly have it in family of God!Yet, as poetically profound as the Psalmist's statement is, it gets even better! Those who are in Christ have experienced this literal truth first-hand!In this message on Psalm 107:1, Andrew invites us to take the opportunity to have an attitude of gratitude, taking stock of our relationship with God through Jesus. It is from this foundation, we overflow with thanksgiving and are poised to take next steps in the foot steps of Jesus.But what are those next steps?In all we do, do it to the glory and praise of God. It's that simple, but yet again the 'foe' of our lives desires to complicate things and damn up our spiritual celebration in Jesus. | "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." |This verse is a powerful reminder of God's unwavering love for us. It's not just a poetic expression but a literal truth that we see throughout the Bible. Invite the incredible life transforming presence of Jesus into your life, by starting with attitude of thankfulness in all things - to the glory of God.
Our 'faith journey' and relationship with Jesus is full of steps. Essential steps, in which the grace of God abounds to us every day. The favor of God teaching us and empowering us in every step in being conformed to the image of Jesus.At times we can overthink these next steps, cutting off the growth that the Holy Spirit desires to manifest in our lives. There is also the peer pressure effect. Galatians 2:11-21 is a good example of 'forces' that are for us and against us. From the moment of salvation and onward there will always be 'counter forces' to the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Lines and allegiances will be called.In Christ, believers are a new creation. New identity. Groups may have known you one way, but when they see the new you - they may insist on seeing you return to the form they remember or prefer. Peter experienced this peer pressure firsthand from Jews from James (leader in the early church) neck of the woods who were strict adherents of the law and thought Peter should continue to live the same and insist such living on gentiles believers. Peter was stuck. He felt the pressure, to the point he gave in to appease the group. His hypocrisy even led other Jews to follow suit. This has far-reaching implications because his actions of not dining with Gentiles, due to ceremonial dietary laws, he and others were declaring the Gentiles were not part of the family of God, let alone not included in the gospel.Paul knew this was not true. He also had gotten to know Peter. This wasn't like Peter to act in this way. But he had bent to peer pressure for the sake of keeping the peace.In this message, Pastor Andrew identified one of the greatest 'dams' to one's spiritual growth and walking in freedom of Christ is Peer Pressure. That is why we need to speak the truth in love out of mutual respect for our brothers and sisters in the Lord.Andrew insisted good leaders, those who are spiritual will exhort and encourage one another to keep on in the truth of the gospel and spiritual growth, no matter the pressure. Paul's account of publically calling out Peter for being 'two-faced with the gospel message depending on who was in his presence, highlights that various forces will always look to impede or 'dam' up your spiritual growth. The key is to not worry about appearances, but rather follow the voice of Christ over any peer pressure.In this message, Pastor Andrew emphasizes that cultural peer pressure is one of those forces that is a constant vice especially when discernment is not exercised and one is not open to being told the truth in love. Sometimes face-time with a fellow believer and friend can mean and make all the difference. Both to the sharer and the recipient. Don’t shoot the messenger. Instead lean into the grace of God to grow As with the journey, we have not yet arrived at the place of becoming like Christ. This will not occur until the Day of the Lord. Until that day, the future state may seem daunting or too far off. Instead of putting off the spirit, look to your next step, as the Spirit leads you. Don't focus on the future goals and milestones, focus on your next step. You'll get there in due time :)
As Christians, plenty of opportunities will present themselves to be unwavering and committed to the ‘true’ living gospel, exhibited by true-living faith in Jesus.
In week 2 of our new series 'Next Steps', we look to the Apostle Paul's letter to the churches in Galatia and his appeal to them to take the necessary next steps in their newfound faith in Christ. In Galatia, they received the gospel message of Jesus, without a hitch. Now Paul has to speak in a serious tone as they have taken backward steps, due to the pressure of 'outsiders'. Religious folk insisted on Gentile believer's adherence to all the works of the law. Essentially, faith is not enough. To help address this, Paul affirmed the 'gospel' they received was in fact 'genuine' revelation because Paul spoke to them what he received from the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul took an important step in defense of the 'true' gospel message, by defending the divine nature and uniqueness of his Apostle As Christians, we will be led by the Lord in the next steps, as such our commitment to the gospel will equally be 'tested'.
Stepping out to 'serve' in areas the Lord calls us to and areas of need is exciting to know you can make a difference in life.Sometimes that decision to 'step' forward can be daunting because it's new territory, a place you have not gone before. We have all faced similar moments where we are not sure of ourselves. Yet we can learn from Peter's encounter with Jesus walking on water, that when we just focus on our next step in faith in Jesus - he will not see us sink. The key is to be undeterred in taking that 'next step'. PETER NEVER WALKED ON WATER BEFORE. No easy feat. In faith of Jesus the demonstration of the Lords power went before him!!!Where are you in those ‘steps’?Perhaps you’ve ventured out, but are now back in ‘a sort of boat’. What boat are you currently in? LOOK beyond that place, SEE Jesus, hear His voice, and STEP OUTWhen you don’t overthink it and ‘step out’, that’s when the experience of a lifetime can become a reality.
What Do You Do When You Want to Give Up? A lesson from 1 Kings 19 and the Prophet Elijah.In this message on 1 Kings 19, we learn from Elijah's journey - to Mt Horeb. Elijah is in a place of desolation, exhausted on many accounts. It is in that place, out of the silence via a small whisper God speaks to Elijah. God is always at work and desires to minister to us. Our part is to embrace the personal relationship God offers and let His voice be our guide, bringing comfort, direction, and hope in all aspects of our lives.TAKE AWAY:In our fast-paced, noisy lives, we must learn to slow down and listen for God's voice in the midst of chaos. He may not always come in grand displays but can be found in the stillness and quiet moments of our hearts. When we feel overwhelmed, desolate from a state of ‘fear’, the key is to remember that God is our refuge and strength, offering us His peace and guidance in the chaos.
In this message entitled, "Embracing the Refining Fire of God: Lessons from Elijah" Pastor Andrew exhorts believers to be bold in faith and embrace the refining fire of God, that is present, powerful, and superior to any 'man-made' idol. Those who worship the true LORD, their petitions and faith are never misplaced.
The narrative of Elijah and his showdown with the Prophets of Baal highlight his trust in God's providence. In the end, Elijah is the messenger in true prophetic fashion calling upon the LORD, who shows himself to be the one true God!
As Christians, we are encouraged that although the enemy of our souls and their ministering 'agent's claim territory, it is always homecourt advantage for the LORD. Just the 'fire' of God fell revealing the LORD as the one true God, as believers embrace the Refining Fire of God we are transformed to the glory of God. All who call on the LORD, will experience God's presence in a powerful way.
Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
Christians are called to live faith out loud. Not ashamed of the gospel. In this message Pastor Andrew, preaches on the narrative of 1 Kings 17 and the reverent servant of the LORD, Obadiah and how his obedient faith encourages us today. All believers are essentially ministers of the gospel, called to serve in whatever sphere of influence and season they are. Obadiah didn't wait to act in faith when his people were in need. He acted out of reverence for the LORD. Granted Elijah gave him reassurances. Nonetheless, he acted. Didn't wait until a future season to serve the Lord. He choose then and there to serve.
FAITH and RISK ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE? 1 KINGS 17 and the account of reverent servant of the LORD Obadiah, shows us our faith is to be lived out loud, here and now. Even when it’s ‘risky’ or ‘inconvenient’. Obadiah didn't wait for a new King to ascend the throne in order to act. He didn't wait for a coming 'season' of life to serve.
The truth is, our ‘faith’ and expression of it will not always be convenient. In fact, it becomes incredibly inconvenient because of the waywardness and idol worship of even our time. Just as in the time of ancient Israel and even the early church when the epicenter of society was faithless and acted in rebellion against God, believers are not to follow suit. Instead in the midst of apostasy speak the truth and be the truth, to the glory of God.
Does God See Me?
More than safe to say God not only sees us, He is intricately involved and present in our lives. The question to ask is are we primed and ready to SEE GOD AT WORK?
1 Kings 17 and John 9 remind us of the profound connection between faith, suffering, and God's providence. In moments of trial, let us remember that our faith can move mountains, that suffering can lead to God's glory, and that our role is to extend love and compassion to those around us. Pastor Andrew encourages us to see how scripture is the call of God over our lives be a testament to the transformative power of God's grace and love. Scripture beckons Christ followers to go-forth, inspired to live out these truths, trusting in God's unwavering goodness and mercy.
We have all encountered dire situations. Moments when we couldn't see beyond what was happening. It's in those moments we begin to accept our circumstance and begin to make peace with it. It’s in such a place we are primed to receive the turn around supply by the command of the LORD.
In 1 Kings 17, the Widow of Zarephath thought "this is it", we shall eat our last meal and die. They had reached the end of their supply, and blamed the LORD for it. Now in an unconventional manner God would give them a reason to praise, for they would receive a supply that would not run out, restoring life unto them.
In this message, Pastor Andrew encourages us to take a note from the widow, to not get 'fixated' on our circumstances to the point that we are unable to identify God's unconventional supply coming to our aid. Like the widow, may we step out in faith obeying His call even when it seems unconventional or uncertain. Let us be reminded of the unchanging nature of our God. His provision never dries up, and He remains faithful in every circumstance.

When we give preferential treatment to the obstacle before us, establishing camp that becomes our portion - affecting our attitude onward. The beauty is that as Christians the enduring presence of God sustains us to overcome that challenge.
In Luke 22, Jesus displayed his humanity and will which ultimately was not in opposition to the LORD. His prayer for the cup to be passed from him revealed his agony in the flesh, but his spirit was undetered staying the course.

Pastor Andrew shares how there is always counsel, available, but it's godly counsel that is what we should prefer to follow while also seeing opportunities to humble ourselves when we have made poor decisions or have a chance to make things right.
In the account of both King Solomon and King Jeroboam, both had the opportunity to repent and be just in their dealings with those under their governorship. Instead, both 'dug in' and made things worse. The result was the prophetic word of the LORD, coming to pass, that the united kingdom of Northern and Southern Judah would be no more.
At the same time, God was loving, gracious, and merciful to the household of David's descendants, not willing to destroy them completely. We see from his actions that all he did was to humble both Kings and give them the opportunity for repentance.
As we reflect on this story, we can see how God is 'just' and 'merciful' towards mankind. For he removed the heavy yoke and burden of sin and its consequences for all mankind. We did not suffer to the point of death for such freedom. As such, we can certainly follow the heart of Jesus to lessen the burden of others through wise counsel.
Jesus is aware and knows all that we face. He is every present as we endure what is lying against us. All we are asked to do is keep the faith. In whom we place our faith is key! Our faith in God who can move and work the impossible - will be rewarded.
When your house is not in order: Turn to the Lord. A prayer of faith, will prevail.
As children of God we enjoy many blessings of God and also as such beneficiaries, we encounter the opposition of a prideful enemy, Lucifer the Devil. The accuser of our souls and his demonic spirits, at work to thwart and oppose God's will and purpose for his creation.
In this message, we are encouraged that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to recognize and stand up to demonic spirits in the name of Jesus. Jesus IS the NAME above EVERY OTHER NAME. Demons fear the name of Jesus and must flee when commanded to do so, in the name of Jesus.
Yes, as Christians we encounter spiritual warfare, but in Jesus the battle is won. This is the wonderful testimony of relationship with Jesus - in whom we have the forgiveness for sin and salvation from various forms of oppression.

In this message, Pastor Andrew encourages Fathers to prefer to be known for their relationship with Jesus above all else. This doesn't mean Fathers cannot enjoy life. In fact, scripture tells us that God has created everything for our enjoyment and to be enjoyed in glory to God. Ultimately the blessing of life is to direct us to our Heavenly Father who loves us with holy love.
We are all created in the image of God and being reformed by the Holy Spirit to reflect our Heavenly Father's character. His Spirit constantly leads us and creates opportunities for us to serve Him.
As such, Fathers are to lead faith in the home and seek out opportunities for healing to be realized in our family. Like the Centurion and men and women of faith long past, when we are not too proud to approach Jesus in all matters of our life, His power will meet our humility and trust resulting in supernatural healing. Healing is not limited to physical ailments but also extends to emotional, spiritual, and relational well-being. When faced with any matter as a Father, as a family, go to Jesus.
If you were facing a fiery ordeal, would you trust God in your situation no matter what you face? Just as Jesus was the fourth man in the fiery furnace shielding Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego in the fire, Jesus is always with us in all life situations, sustaining us as we trust in Him.
In fact, in 1 Corinthians 12:9 the Apostle Paul encourages believers on the manifestation of the spiritual gift of faith. Unlike saving faith, which all believers in Christ exercise, this gift of faith is supernatural trust in God in extraordinary ways, in certain situations no matter the outcome.
In this message, Andrew encourages believers to see that as we rest in our saving faith in Christ Jesus, we can rally behind the spiritual gift of faith, the supernatural ability of faithful vision to see beyond the situation with faith for a shift in reality because of faith in Jesus.
Scripture invites all followers of Jesus to desire all the Spiritual gifts, including Wisdom and knowledge. True wisdom and knowledge are found in a relationship with Jesus.

In this message, Andrew preaches on the Spiritual Gift of Prophecy. Prophecy is an important verbal manifestation of the Spirit. An important revelatory gift, where a believer is empowered by the Spirit to prophesy, communicating God's will to his people, to guide and direct them in their walk with God. Instructional guidance, that is always in conformity with the truth of scripture, declaring the truth of God's will for each believer, in any season, delivered in such a way that encourages us to keep the faith and become more like Christ. In 1 Corinthians chapter 14, the Apostle Paul exhorts that prophecy is a greater gift because it builds up all in attendance. Intelligible revelation, speech that is discernable by all. Affirming and validating the activity of God amongst His people. His discourse on the spiritual gifts (1 Cor 12-14) affirms that not only are the spiritual gifts for every believer as the Holy Spirit determines (1 Cor 12:7,11), but the normal pursuit for all believers during these last days.Just as salvation is a free gift given out God's love, so also love is the spiritual makeup and vehicle of delivery for the gifts. The key aspect of spiritual gifts, including prophecy is one cannot work in exchange for receiving a particular desired spiritual gift. The gifts are simply not for sale. No keynote speaker, nor any person, aside from Holy Spirit has the authority to ensure the impartation of a spiritual gift. Jochebed, Moses's mother exemplified courage and selflessness as she trusted in God over fear to save her son. With faith in God and a steady plan, Jochebed defied Pharoh to safeguard her child from certain death. Her courage and selfless act preserved her son and God’s plans for Moses and the Israelite people. In today's day and age, we can all be like Jochebed, standing up for what is right even when one’s biblical worldview (theocracy) does not align with government proclamations. Life-defining moments reveal our heart and trust in God.
Are the Spiritual Gifts for today? In Week Three, Pastor Andrew turns our attention to the agency of the Holy Spirit in the DISBURSEMENT OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS, as He wills. There is a great number of spiritual gifts to aid believers in effective witness, but not all believers believe the gifts are for today, or at least only the teaching and wisdom gift.In this message Pastor Andrew explores key statements based on scripture used to support cessation of the gifts, while passionately equalling affirming from scripture that the spiritual gifts were not limited to the early Apostle, but for all believers as the Spirit 'wills'.Jesus promised power for His followers to witness. Looking at 1 Cor 12, it is clear that not only are the gifts for all believers but there is a vast array of spiritual gifts that are intended to BUILD UP AND UNITE US, NOT DIVIDE US.The apostle Paul illustrates the proper function of these gifts from the bedrock foundation of love, love of God, and love for others. When the spiritual gifts are functioning properly the church is positioned for greater efficiency of witness. In this message, you will be encouraged to desire and be open to all the Spirit of God desires to disburse, as Pastor Andrew emphasizes that it is the will of the Holy Spirit that all believers have a gift and that a healthy church celebrates all the gifts.
When you're labeled as 'crazy', that doesn't always make it so. The believers in the early church were called 'drunkards' and 'crazy' when the Holy Spirit moved upon them. But the truth was God was really moving among them and within. There were also those keenly searching for answers.Holy Spirit is promised gift who continues to operate in these last days, as we await the return of Jesus. "Follow me" is an important 'call' of Christ, to all who believe in Him. Simple, yet His call is not obstacle free. The early followers learned this lesson and it's a lesson still being learned by believers today.It's human to get distracted from one's role or assignment in fulfilling the Great Commission, especially when comparing oneself to another or becoming overly concerned with what the Lord reveals to another. In John 21:20-23, Peter is learning this life lesson. He's hit the obstacle and is overtly concerned over the Lord's plan for John, the beloved discipleship of Jesus. Peter is quickly corrected by Jesus that this matter is none of his business. Jesus reminds Peter to essentially refocus, by saying "Follow me".In this message, Andrew shares how all Christians will benefit from heeding the word given to Peter, in that God's plan for one's life, is up to the Lord. He determines the outcomes, we do not. We all have roles and assignments to discharge, each role, gifting, ministry, activity is invaluable. Let us learn from Peter's interaction with Jesus to heed the instruction of overseers responsible for our very soul and to focus on the assignment that the Lord has revealed to us to walk in, as part of fulfilling the Great Commission.

In Triumphal Entry Part 3, we look to Luke 20:9 and the Parable of the Vineyard Owner and The Judgement of the Tenants.This story is employed by Jesus as a 'mirror' for the religious leaders - who serving as Tenant ‘farmers’ are entrusted to lead the people and produce fruit, glorying God, but they are sour in every way possible. Seeking forge their own path, that they believe is to in keeping the law. The have truly lost their way! Jesus foretells of the leaders collective plans to kill Gods beloved Son. Opening the door for repentance by calling them out for their rejection of the ‘chief cornerstone’ of the new temple of God. Yet they connived and plotted all the more to kill Jesus.As Christian’s we see Jesus is the beloved Son of the Vineyard owner, of the story. In the midst of the chaos, the story also showcases God's resilient and patient love in sending His son to forgive the trespasses of the tenants. A story that would climax at the cross at Calvary, with Jesus taking away the sins of the world and enacting the New Covenant with His very life.The very resilient and patient love of our Heavenly Father, to be known by all who receive Christ with faith and love in their hearts.
Following Jesus entry to the temple, the chief religious leaders questioned Jesus’ authority and agency. While the crowd recognized Jesus and worshipped Him, large number of the religious sects did not. Ultimately, those who remained in opposition were willingly complicit in Christ being crucified. At the end of the day, as we view this story with New Covenant glasses, we see God works through anyone and anything to accomplish His purposes. Worship the Lord, He is worthy to be praised.
Do you like to celebrate victories? In Jesus' Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem, the crowd was doing just that, celebrating the arrival of the prophesied Messiah, who would take away the sins of the world. "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord". Just like today, the crowd is equally made up of those who recognize Jesus Christ as Lord, ready to enjoy the peace He confers upon all who celebrate His victory, and those who resist or outright refuse His Kingship.Jesus humbly rode into Jerusalem, upon a donkey as prophesied, a true and faithful King, with authority to execute justice and usher in peace for all His people. A peace that He knew would cost Him His life to secure it.Pastor Andrew encourages Christians to be thankful for one's eternal security in Jesus. Whereas by Christ's own words, those who reject Christ's Lordship encounter turbulent destruction, by their own omission. For all who do not know Jesus, now is the time to heed His call and not resist. When He returns it will not be upon a donkey to usher in peace, but upon a white horse to rule the nations and separate the righteous from the unrighteous.
In Jesus is My Life, Pastor Andrew encourages us to live our life in Christ from a place of urgency and hunger for the things of the LORD. What are you focused upon? Is it seeking Christ's Kingdom, His righteousness - kingdom living? Resist applying spiritual sunblock. Jesus promised those who follow Him, would enjoy life and life to the full. THE FULL. How sweet is that!!!The Apostle Paul in Eph 4:16-32 speaks of this new life in Christ. Offering the 'how to' walk in it. This involves a new of thinking, believing, and acting toward God and one another. The beauty is we are not in this on our own. Operating under our own steam. Rather, we have the indwelling Holy Spirit guiding us and empowering us to walk wisely with our words and actions. Foster kindness over slander. Truth over falsehoods.Think about it. Followers of Jesus are marked with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit. Signaling not only that we belong to God and that we will enjoy the promise of the future hope of eternity with Jesus, but also hope for today. The reality we can walk in kindness over anger, honesty over falsehood, and compassion instead of malice with the help of the Holy Spirit.The Apostles teaching echoes through to today. Christ is calling you to embrace your new identity in Him. Embrace it whole heartily, for when you will encounter live changing transformation from the inside out.
The Bible tells us without revelation, people cast off restraint. Vision gives us clear direction on where we are headed. A desired future state and the best way forward. Can we follow any vision? Proverbs 29:18 tells us that as we follow divine revelation, the instruction of the LORD, via the written Word and the Word that became flesh in Christ - we will be blessed and happy in it.The Word of God directs our steps in harmony with the vision and mission of heaven for our lives. In this message Pastor Andrew preaches from Revelation 21 on the vision of the desired future state of believers at the coming of the new heaven and new earth. At this conjunction is history, there are two possible states for people, those whose names are in the Lamb's book of life and are saved; and those who refuse Christ and perish. Looking to 1 Cor 15, we look to the Apostle Paul's exhortation to the believers in Corinth, words that ring loud and clear into TODAY - "Bad Company corrupts good character".As Christians, we are members of the Body of Christ that is being built up and growing into the stature of Jesus Christ. We face the opposition of the enemy of our souls. Seeking to thwart the plans of God and knock us off the assignment of office. Nonetheless, in Him, we encounter grace for the forgiveness of sins and grace to walk more like Jesus in these last days. Free to embrace all He has for us. This is not a pointless act. Our faith in Christ is not meaningless, it is life. The very foundation on which we establish our today and tomorrow, to the glory of God.
In Week three of our message series Truths to Live By, we look to 1 John 2, on Cherishing the Anointing every follower of Jesus Christ enjoys. The promised Holy Spirit, a spiritual blessing in Christ, enables all to remain firm in the way and teachings of Jesus; in the midst of turbulent movements and deceptive teachings - seeking to make Christ followers sacrifice all that makes one a child of God. In this message, Pastor Andrew exhorts the church not to listen or entertain this worldly allurement; but attentively embrace the timely warning for today. As even in 2023 we encounter antichrist movements and deceptive teachings contrary to our identity in Jesus. Nonetheless, by the anointing every believer has in Jesus Christ, we may be poised to discern and redeem all the work of the enemy - as we partner with Holy Spirit. As the turbulent waves of deception increase in these last days, we can discern deception and redeem what is contrary to our identity in Christ - through the anointing of Holy Spirit.
It's Day One of 2023. Why not begin with the resolve to cross over into the New Year by devoting yourself in service to the LORD. Yesterday has passed and today is a new day to witness the wonders of the Lord in your life.In Joshua Chapter 3, we are shown that when we consecrate ourselves to the cause of God's kingdom, we become vessels fit for service and encounter wonders by way of the grace of God. No obstacle is to big for God to bring you through.
The vantage point of the Nativity story in Matthew 2, shows us the great lengths God works to capture our attention. Like the star which led the Magi Wise Men to Jesus, God also uses the seasons in our life to draw us unto Himself in worship. The gift of his leading presence is so precious a gift. When we open our spiritual eyes to His leading, we too like the Wise Men, are overwhelmed with joy in God's faithful leading.What PEACE and JOY we have in the knowledge of faith that Jesus Christ is saviour, the true light of the world, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Worship of Him is never in vain. As we worship him with our very life, we are like shining stars of God's handiwork (Daniel 12:3) . His divine power has given us all we need for life and godliness.This Christmas do not discredit the power of your witness. By the power of God's Holy Spirit, Christ in you the hope of glory, you are anointed in such a season to draw people to Jesus.
Do you remember the greatest gift you ever received? Sometimes and appropriately so such a ‘gift’ fosters within us, an attitude of gratitude and praise to those who love us. Perhaps even better, a restoration of faith, "they love me, they really do love me".The Nativity Story proclaims to us, God really loves us. The occasion for Christ's birth calls us to receive Christ in Faith. Encounter the glory of God in the highest heaven, as reflected in Jesus, the Greatest Gift ever given'. In Jesus, we encounter the radiating presence of God himself. We encounter His unparalled glory through faith. Like the Shepherds who heard the proclamation of 'peace' from the multitude of angels, so also by the Holy Spirit, we are equally beckoned to waste no time in seeking out the things of God.Like the Shepherds, who did not waste time in seeking out Jesus, living on the edge ‘so to speak’, when we are willing to step out in faith, we too will encounter the glory of God in Christ for every season of our life.
In Week two of our Advent Series, we look to the arrival of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. The Bible tells us in Isaiah that those whose minds are set on the Lord will be kept in perfect peace. The Nativity of Jesus and Mary's role as a vessel of the virgin birth is no different. Mary is chosen and overshadowed by God to serve as vessel, as the mother of Jesus. At first, this greeting of angel Gabriel is troubling, but through conversation with the Angel Gabriel, Mary is filled with peace by faith in the Most High God's plan to see the Messiah brought into the world - by overshadowing Mary with His presence. Uniquely and totally set-apart. This side of the Nativity story, all Christians are filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and can encounter a similar peace as we trust in God's perfect plan, look to the scriptures, and anointing of the Spirit of God.
Advent of Hope The Christmas season is the most wonderful time of the year, for a good reason! No, it's not the feasts, as delicious as they are. It's not even the about the gifts, as cool as they are to receive. It's also not about the parties, as great as it is to get together with family and friends. Christmas is an opportunity to celebrate the true reason for the season, the 'arrival' of Jesus. As we look at the Nativity Story, the occasion for the birth of Jesus, and the prophecies fulfilled, we are moved to appreciate the arrival of Jesus to manifest hope for all mankind. The scriptures beckon us to celebrate our saviour's arrival, as we also look with equal desire and anticipation for the return of Christ.
Part 2: Genuine affection alleviates affliction. So also being real in vulnerability we open ourselves up to be comforted. Do you believe this?

Pastor Isaiah preaches from Proverb 4:20-27 on how to Utilize the Word of the LORD in one's life.
No matter our net worth, our vocation, or social stature in the community, we all at one point or another encounter circumstances by which our supply cannot meet. It's in those moments we realize how much we need Jesus. Looking to Matthew 8, Pastor Andrew encourages all who call Christ Lord to fight the flight of doubt and come under Jesus' wonder-working authority, no matter the size of the obstacle or need. In faith, we bring can bring all our needs to the Lord and believe He has the authority to meet that request at any given moment. In this message we are, like the Centurion, encouraged to seek out Jesus, cast aside doubt of what's possible, and humble ourselves before God, believing that upon confession of our faith, He will always work his good plan and purpose to completion no matter what.
Faith over doubt. Testimony over the fear of humiliation.
Jesus' Authority over all life means fulfillment of the gospel in all aspects of our life from here to the day of the Lord. Jesus’ interaction with the man cleansed of Leprosy reveals to us that in Christ by His authority, we encounter both life transformation and spiritual growth, as we step out in all of life’s processes as living testaments - testifying to the goodness of God’s authority & grace towards His creation.
Imagine for a moment what can happen as you with humble faith bring your needs before Jesus. Pastor Andrew preaches on how after Jesus delivered the vision of the Kingdom of Heaven in His sermon on the Mount, Jesus came down from that mountaintop experience and got to work. Putting his words into action. Jesus’ authority | over disease, sin, and death speaks to who He is and who we are in Him, through faith | As we step into His life we witness His life-giving, life-changing authority. Let us confidently come before our mighty God and saviour and be changed by the warmth of his transformative presence.

A Christian life is not a ‘coast’ your way through 'fake it til you make it' type of life, but one marked by obedient surrender and intentionality of faith in Christ. Engaging the power and presence of our Mighty God and Saviour, Jesus Christ - bearing fruit (good works) - in service of His kingdom and not our own. Pastor Andrew humbly directs us to the words of Jesus, in Matthew 7:22, which teach us that knowing God is not the same as being known by God. To be known by God is to know His trans-formative power of presence in one's life. Encountering His grace, which moves us in the way of service of God's kingdom. The good works (fruit) that we do, as part of God’s design for our life, in Christ, is an INDICATOR of a Christ-saved, Christ led life. FAITH is personal, it hit's home. The flow of grace from King Jesus terraforms our life. Our relationship with Jesus, is not about kicking back, engaging autopilot - and hoping everything works out. We need to remain ‘awake’ and ‘engaged’ in following His prompting voice in these evil days. Fighting the spiritual forces of darkness, who direct the flow of culture in the world, is all part of what we do as ambassadors and followers of Christ.
As Christians our ‘works’, are the byproduct of faith in Jesus, and thus of great importance to witness to our world. A Christian life, is not a ‘coast’ your way through preferring the spoils of the world type of life. If you live in such a way, of knowing God but devoid from being known by God in His trans-formative presence for service, you may be like what all pilot's dread to acknowledge: ‘MAYDAY’/, I am going down.
As we look at Matthew 7. We once again ‘check’ our motivations when it comes to judging others. Is wrong to judge on all accounts? We have been given the mind of Christ, with the ability to assess, critique, and discern matters; yet we cannot outperform our need of God’s grace & mercy. Jesus in other words is encouraging us to 'fight the puff up'. None of us have arrived in reflecting the fullness of spiritual maturity in Christ. We all fall short, equally a work in progress enjoying transformation by the power of God's Spirit. The mark of a believer's spiritual maturity is the willingness to be open to the critique of fellow believers, while equally inquiring of the Lord together and serving one another towards the goal of becoming more like Jesus.
In week 10, we look to Jesus exhortation on Fasting and one's pursuit of material possessions (ie.,Mammon). Fasting is not meant to be a gloomy spectacle but a joyous opportunity to gain greater clarity of kingdom vision and dependence on God. Our Heavenly Father cares deeply for us. He will provide all we need as we forego our dependance on the material. At the end of the day, like a good optometrist Jesus is checking our gaze. Asking of us, "what is your focus in life? What do you value? Is it the need to be seen as religious or even the acquirement of wealth? Pastor Andrew encourages us to see that Jesus is helping us to see kingdom vision with greater clarity, to value treasure stored up in heaven over earthly possessions. The pursuit of material possessions are the 'things' of yard sales. When we die we cannot take it with us! You never see a Uhaul behind a hearse.
What do you treasure? Jesus calls out to us, "where your heart is there your treasure will be also."
You will be encouraged and stretched by this timely word on fasting and material possessions.
How is a Christian supposed to pray? In Matthew 6 Jesus gives us a framework to build our life of prayer. Prayer is a incredible vehicle of communication with God. It's also worship and praise unto God. Therefore, how we approach God in prayer is essential part of our DNA as Christians. It's not about us and the rewards we receive. It's not about our carefully crafted and excellently spoken prayers. No, it is so much more than that. Prayer is praise and worship to God. Pastor Andrew encourages us to see that as we pray, we tune out the distractions and the desire to be seen and heard, and exchange it for God's will to be done in our life. For His kingdom to be realized in our life. Empowering us to bring the kingdom to others. To this end, our motives matter. It is within the 'secret' place of prayer where our attitude and motives are kept in check and prepare us for active prayer in public. He can turn any moment, even a public square, into a beautiful moment of prayerful communication. Will you give your today to the Lord? As you turn to Him in prayer and seek his will above all else, yours needs with certain be meet for his plan is to prosper you and not harm you.
Pastor Isaiah preaches from Matthew 6, drawing upon the teachings of Jesus on how believers are to give. Isaiah looks at how believers can give cheerfully and without strife, as they give with the right motives to glorify God over the trying to been seen. What matters is God sees and blesses those who give without making a grandiose announcement. All believers by the power of the Holy Spirit can be poised to give from a heart set on glorifying God, over self.
In part 7, we look again to Matthew 5 in how Jesus calls all who will listen to a life of none vengeance. Looking instead to multiply reconciliation, over personal retribution and retaliation. In life the road is marked with joyous encounters, victories, challenges, and even suffering. They are all opportunities to reflect the light of Jesus into our world. Pastor Andrew encourages us to see we are mirrors of of God's loving kindness and mercy, displayed towards us in Christ Jesus. Just because Jesus calls us to not taking vengeance into our own hands, does not mean His plan for us is to go through life abused, bruised and confused. Our Heavenly Father cares for us and will faithfully exact his righteous vengeance and justice, seasoned with mercy at His appointment time - as we trust in Him.
In Week 5, continuing in Matthew 5, we look to verse 31-32 on the matter of marriage and divorce. Does Jesus give a clear cut escape clause to exit a marriage? For reasons of marital unfaithfulness? Or is this a nod to the concession of the law (Deut 24:1-4), all the while promoting God's intetional design for marriage? In this message Pastor Andrew shares various passages that give further 'food' for thought on the subject, which do not include an escape clause. Rather, point to the focus of Jesus reminding God's people on His intended design for marriage and not the permissible concession. When we're focused on an escape clause that's all we will see and give our heart too. When we are looking to glorify God, we can be moved with resolved intention of heart, where even what appears to be an impossible reconciliation becomes possible.
Let us not be hasty in pursing an escape clause or escape hatch. Rather, in our forgiveness of adultery even, let's celebrate the blessing of our marriage bonds and by the grace of God chose to glorify God in our marriages, intending to be faithful this day forward. ...Fear cannot stand a chance when we still in the love of our God...
It's day four of orientation day. This is what it feels like as we continue in our sermon series A DAWN OF A NEW DAY based in Matthew 5, grasping the teachings of Jesus, as we look to the word and grow in our understanding of the heartbeat of heaven. In Part 1 on God’s design for Marriage, Pastor Andrew teaches on how Jesus continues to reorient his followers in the ways of the Kingdom of God and now sets his sights on marriage and its 'vice' adultery. Jesus teaching encourages us to rather than seeking ‘greener pasture’ in another or looking to concessions in the law to dissolve a marriage, or using grace to pursue another; Jesus invites us to engage his grace and mercy that’s more than sufficient to lift us up, fix our outlooks, and even reconcile marriages.
IT's ORIENTATION DAY In Week 3, Pastor Andrew preaches from Matthew 5:21-30 and Gen 4 in how in Jesus we all undergo heart surgery. The epicentre of our life is under daily renewal, so we become more like Christ in this world. As we encounter the grace and mercy of God we are moved in the way of right action in response to the outpouring of God into our hearts by way of his Holy Spirit.
In drawing upon Matthew 5 and Gen 4, Pastor Andrew teaches on how IT'S ORIENTATION DAY. Like one learns the heart beat of the company, in Jesus we learn the heartbeat of heaven. Jesus is showing us the way forward in His kingdom, as salt and light. Loving others, as Christ loved us. We will face difficulty. Yet, Jesus remains involved in our life, and just as God was concerned about Cain's 'next steps', we can rest assured God is with us in our next steps. Promoting us, working within us by His spirit, to de-escalate and pursue reconciliation.
Week 2 | Dawn of a New Day | In Christ we have Peace and Hope
Now thanks to Jesus there is a new way forward to enjoy the presence of God. In Christ we have peace and hope by way of grace through faith in Jesus finished work on the cross. In Christ there is a way forward—to encounter God’s covenant realty to the full, by way of God's grace and mercy, as displayed in Christ. Through faith in Jesus, we’re REBORN - our heart reoriented bursting at the seems with an undying love for God and our mind being renewed daily by Holy Spirit as we enjoy our eternal security and His abiding presence - Beckoning us to move on in maturity of faith as ministry recipients of God’s ministry through Christ; but also participants of ministry in the kingdom of God.
In this message Pastor Andrew emphasizes the wonderful favor of God displayed towards us all who believe in Jesus. In Christ we stand in eternal security, which propels us forward in ministry service. Ministry natural happens when we are at peace. As we rest in our secure position, we are full of hope and peace.
In Christ a light has dawned. In Him the Kingdom of God has come near and is being realized in Jesus. The great announcement that all who receive his call to 'follow him' enjoy the dawn of a new day.
Be encouraged as Pastor Andrew preaches from Mark 2 in how Levi, a tax collector experienced that light which took him from a mediocre job in Galilee to Jesus inner circle. Serving at a toll booth for a self proclaimed king to serving the true king of Israel. In Christ each day brings with it new benchmarks and opportunities to behold God's grace as revealed in Jesus.
Prayer thwarts the enemy of our souls. Prayer in Jesus name gives us access to the divine grace and procurement of heaven to stand against the enemy and live for Jesus in this world.

What are your dreams? Now think about your children’s dream. In what ways are you championing their dreams? John C Maxwell once said ‘teamwork makes the dream work’. This is so true. God has not designed us to do this on our own. As we put our faith in God and live on purpose to live a godly life - we will forge that path, leaving a legacy for our children to follow. In this Father’s Day message Pastor Andrew speaks transparently about becoming a godly man. God’s man. A man living after God’s heart.
Becoming a godly man does not happen by accident. Rather it takes a degree of intentionality in partnership with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

We are uniqeuly suited for the days in which we are living. A beatuiful promise is we are all equally FITTED with READINESS for the gospel of peace. Peace by way of Jesus. The peace we experience through faith in Jesus, who is the propitiation of all our sin. By way of great exchange, Jesus took upon himself the consequences of our hostility, turning away God's wrath directed at sin, and thus setting us free from our alienation - alive to live for God.
In this message Pastor Andrew encourages us from Ephesians 6 and Ephesians 2, looking at through the cross of Christ ALL, all who look to Him in faith, are Reconciled to God and made one of the family of God, with complete access to the Father. This peace and access, encourages us to rise out of our 'fox holes', fighting the bombardment of the enemy and taking the fight to the enemy with the gospel of the peace Christ has won for all. As we walk with this ‘peace’ as our grip, we can do the distance without looking back to former way of life. As we live this way - the (junk food of darkness) masquerading as light is destroyed. The spoils of spiritual warfare > goodness, righteous, and purity of truth).
As we continue in our sermon series "A Worthy Pursuit", we look at one of the defensive weapons of the armour of God, the breastplate of righteousness. Pastor Andrew preaches from Eph 6 on how the breastplate is our heart protector rooted in the truth of Jesus Christ. He is our truth and guiding light. By the power of his spirit we can walk in this world like Jesus, with Righteous Integrity.
In this message, we look at the importance of resisting the evil darkness that is prevalent in our world, by the strength of the Lord and by Putting on the Full Armour of God. Taking up the full armor of God is necessary to defeat all of the schemes of the evil one. Starting with the foundational piece, the belt of truth - that is the gospel of Jesus.
A worthy pursuit is living according to the Lord’s will (5v17). The Apostle Paul taught the Ephesians the Lord’s will includes submitting to one another, out of reverence for Christ (5v21). This deep seeded conviction of respect for Jesus is held within the understanding as Christians we all have the same Master, our Lord Jesus Christ. We are under his authority, the name ‘above everything other name’. Our interactions with others and the varying aspects of those relationships are to flow out of this relationship with God, in Christ. With this in mind we are empowered to obey our earthly master's and those with authority over us in the work place.
Do you want your life to go on well for you? Enjoy long life in the land? A clear promise of the Word is when we follow God's ways, commands, and precepts, we will surely enjoy many blessing's even in the midst of tough choices.
In second week of our 'A Worthy Pursuit' series. Andrew takes us on a journey into Ephesians 6 and Genesis 22 that serve as exhibit for self-reflection on the importance of Honouring one's parents and the blessing therein. Pastor Andrew shares how like Abraham we have duty before God to raise our children in the ways of God, and children are to respect and honour their parent's even if what they are teaching them doesn't make sense at the time.
God is always using life encounters to teach us His ways. To live a right and full life in the land we do well by living out the 5th commandment of God "Honour Your Mother and Your Father".

We know life isn't a game, yet there are times we ride the bench when it comes to actively engaging our life-calling. Engaging our God given abilities and talents.. This happens for various reasons, including but not limited to being our own worst enemy at times, even preferring flight over fight. Packing in our calling when we mis-step and returning to a more familiar or former way of life. In this preaching segment, Andrew shares practical teaching points from Jesus 'fireside' chat with Simon Peter, including how He calls us out to us who have mis-stepped, preferred to ride the bench, or have even gone back to a former way of life. In John 21, the 'fireside' chat, Jesus calls out to us even today. His questions and statements minister to our hearts, leading us out of our mis-steps, off of the sidelines and into our calling. Life is but a vapor, we are here one day and gone the next. No better time to engage the present and looking beyond past experiences and occurrences. Jesus wants to include you and not exclude you. Get in the game.
On EASTER SUNDAY | Pastor Andrew spoke on the Victory that Jesus accomplished on the cross and the resurrection life, made possible by Jesus's exit from the tomb. The tomb became ground zero for the beginning of New Creation. Jesus crushed Satan, sin, and the grave; thus affirming the hope of the Resurrection.

Jesus’ entry to God’s Holy City, Jerusalem signals to all who cry out in praise that God's plan for salvation had arrived on scene, in the flesh. Christ in whom the fullness of the Deity dwelled, was on route to fulfill his destiny, face-off against the great enemy, thus rescuing mankind through His great Passover action on the cross . Pastor Andrew shares that this was a mission Christ was poised to fulfill with great joy in the midst of the worshipful cries and conscious objectors alike. It was his journey to the cross and triumphant victory over the sin and grave, that brought us peace and hope.
Jesus invites us on an unforgettable journey of discovery and spiritual growth. We are accustomed to traveling and when we do, we have our 'must-have items' to bring along. In the case of Jesus followers, Jesus called them to follow Him and take nothing with them. Rather exchange all they know, for what he has to offer. Their curiosity and faith would be met with first-hand encounters of Jesus' compassion in all sorts of miracles and wonders. As they humbled themselves before their compassionate shepherd they saw the glory of God first-hand.
If we're in it to win it for ourselves we will be humbled, but when we are in it for the glory of God - his favor will overflow in our lives and multiply the outflow to bless others.

The Touch of God - HEALS. This happens when, by aligning in ‘faith’, God’s natural reaches into our ‘world’ and does that which we cannot do for ourselves. This we understand as supernatural. God truly is metaphysical “transcending physical matter and laws of nature”. Our opportunity then is to remain resolved to approach His super in faith through Christ - no matter our condition - leaving all results to God.

In Week 4 of our sermon series | The Touch of God | Andrew preaches how the Touch of God Unifies believers to harmoniously glorify God with their lives. This unity is through fellowship, that is the shared belonging and shared interests of believers. We are called to be a blessing to God and to one another as ministers of the gospel, sharing the good news. May it be a refreshing and God honouring precipitation of the gospel, flowing out into our community.
In week 2, Andrew talks about the Ordination of every believer in Christ. This appointment to every disciple of Jesus is love. Love for God is the 'glue' that bonds all followers of Christ together, enabling one to stick the course in bearing fruit. However, it's not any kind of love. It's not love for one person's truth over another - rather it's the measure of Christ's love and grace that serves as the rallying point and fruit-bearing. Christ's example of love to the Father and His Word is the love that Jesus appoints us to follow him in.
Pastor Andrew teaches how it is out of the outflow of Christ's love that enables us to live in love with one another. The inflow and outflow matter. That outflow serves as the wind in our 'wings' to reach out to even the 1 out of the 99.

What does your heart burn for? Yearn for? Life has a way of revealing what drives us, if we are willing to learn. In life there are lessons to be learned: most notably that God loves us, is with us, and for us. The various seasons and circumstances in life show his work, including revealing the motives of our heart. As we are honest with the condition of our heart we can grow. Growth includes increased favor to witness and even being delivered from that which interferes with us sharing the message of God’s wonderful grace and love towards all who believe.

Faith in Jesus is both a personal and corporate dimension. They are not mutually exclusive of one another. Saying, "personal faith doesn't matter", is a lie from the enemy, to bog you down in red tape. Resist the cool-aid 😊.

In part five of our sermon series "The Great Awakening," Pastor Andrew talks about the blessing of 'standing' in the will of God. God's will is multifaceted and part of His will for us includes being joyful, prayerful and overflowing with thanksgiving in all circumstances.
This is not an easy endeavor. As humans, we have our default settings. It can take time to reprogram our mind, will, and emotions to align with this heritage of 'thanksgiving' as God's Children. Thankfully we are not alone in this refining. We have the Holy Spirit who rewires and reworks the deep recesses of the fiber of our being (mind, will, emotions). Coupled with our spoken words, Holy Spirit empowers us to live in thankfulness all the days of our life.

In part four of our sermon series "The Great Awakening," Pastor Andrew talks about the importance of having 'OPEN ARMS TO JESUS'. People are watching. Bystanders are always listening. Sharing matters. Proclaiming the marvelous acts of God matters, whether it is received or not.
When we share our testimony about Jesus Christ with others there will be times when the message may not be received or outright rejected. Jesus experienced this too with the Pharisees (religious leaders of his day) and common folk. His message of the Kingdom was not always received by everyone. Some even said blasphemies against Him and the Holy Spirit because they refused to believe what their eyes had seen, or ears had heard. Jesus called them the crooked or perverse generation. Pastor Andrew shared how this label and title which Peter called out in his message is no different in today's context. Yet, we need not lose heart. Rather, be resolved and bold to share Christ in love. Seeds are being planted. God takes care of the results. He casts a wide net. Many are called, but the reception of the invitation is up to them.
We can learn a lesson from the crowd in attendance on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out and 'signs' were taking place. Tongues and prophecy were evidenced, attesting to Jesus' status as Lord and Christ.
After hearing the report (seeds sown) by Peter (Disciple of Jesus) concerning the ascended Jesus Christ, the Messiah whom they had crucified had indeed risen - the crowd responded with a repentant heart of faith. Receiving therefore the gift of baptism into the family of God, forgiveness, and promised Holy Spirit.
Let us be bold to share the truth and welcome all with open arms as they repent, experiencing baptism and forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ.

God always fights for his beloved people. No matter how big the size of the enemy or bark of threats at your doorstep, remember whose child you are. You are a child of God. God's strong hand will guide you and deliver you.
Pastor Andrew teaches about how our Home is a sacred place, a protected space where people love you, and in many ways enthrone themselves around you. They stand by you through the good and bad times, to the end of the line, because they have the endgame in mind. This is the way things are within the family of God. In the grid of daily life we do not have to lose heart. Jesus has destroyed the power of sin's grip over us and has given us new life. He has also given us authority in His name to demolish strongholds. We are totally forgiven and called to serve as witnesses to the authority of Jesus over the works of the Devil.
Jesus desires to make his home with us. Andrew looks at how Jesus' encounter with Zaccheus a sinful man, showcases how Jesus faithful to call us and transform our lives, to follow him.

Andrew shares a devotional based on Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of what is hoped for and the conviction of what is unseen". We all have personal, social, and spiritual hopes and convictions and at the end of the day, all said hopes and convictions are to be rooted in our faith in Jesus. He will see us through it all.

In Psalm 18:30 a man named David, who had his fair share of circumstances, teaches us to see that it is God who enables us to scale what seems unreachable heights, God who breaks down strongholds. God's way that is perfect and His Word that is true. In Jesus, we too can see walls and strongholds broken and experience Hope and life to the full.
