Welcome to â¦. Abolish Alcohol-Hypnotherapy For Breaking Bad Habits With Alcohol
Series
Get ready to just make yourself comfortable and shut your eyes now... let your hands lie
loosely in your lap... or at your side if that's easier... just be comfortable and relax your
entire body as much as you are able to... now I want you to take a deep breath and hold it
for a minute before exhaling slowly... just letting your whole body relax as you do ... and
I want you to keep your eyes shut now and just keep listening restfully to the sound of my
voice... and as you're listening to the sound of my voice, I want you to center for a
moment on your breathing... breathing slowly and steady and evenly... and as you exhale
each time, just letting your whole body relax more and more... so that you gradually find
yourself feeling like your whole body was settling further and further into the chair with
each breath you breathe...
and just the thought of breathing and unwinding makes you feel as though you're sinking
down... 5 Sinking deeper.... 4... and each breath makes you feel more at ease.... 3 .... and
with every breath you feel yourself going deeper and deeper... more relaxed.... 2.... down
once more......... breathing softly... Releasing.... and 1.... Completely relaxed.....
For a while now youâve been behaving and feeling in ways that have removed you from
your own, natural self. Youâve relied much more on alcohol to assist you through the
negative feelings which youâve been feeling, and have done so to such an extent that you
discover yourself denying yourself of your own truthful feelings.
No one feels on top of the world day in and day out and there will be times that could be
better. Itâs solely by experiencing a few of the lows in life that you can truly savor and
appreciate the highs. Hiding your feelings with alcohol doesnât fix anything, it simply makes matters worse, thatâs why you've decided now that youâve had enough of alcohol,
and you truly want assistance with this problem of yours.
Center now on a region of your life that you feel pleased with - you might wish to
remember something great that happened to you, something that made you feel confident,
an accomplishment perhaps or some kudos you got. ...now observe how you feel inside,
proud, confident, pleased - and let those great feelings get stronger, while you unwind,
and let go.
And once those great feelings are filling you I wish you to take a deep breath and clinch
your hand into a fist, while your subconscious memorizes those great feelings.
As whenever you wish to feel this way, all you need to do is take a long deep breath and
clinch your hand into a fist.
Thatâs great. Now conceive of yourself in a situation where you'd commonly have
reached for your first drink of alcohol. Note where you are, what youâre doing, who's
with you, if anybody, utilize your imagination the very best you can. If you canât image
the scene then recall it in as much detail as possible.
Note the feelings inside you as you reach for the bottle and imagine yourself walking
over to the sink and dumping that bottle, and as you execute this, I wish you to take a
deep breath in through your nose and clinch the other hand into a tight fist while you
remember...
