We've all seen it on the evening news, a construction site hit a water main, gas line, or electrical service knocking out those services to entire neighborhoods or city blocks. Exodigo, pronounced X-Ah-Di-Go, aims to eliminate this problem with their off-the-shelf hardware and custom written AI software. Using readily available devices Exodigo can "see" underground to map services buried underground. This permits construction professionals to rapidly locate problem areas to avoid or at the very least, be aware of as construction proceeds.
Jeremy is the co-founder & CEO of the American-Israeli startup “Exodigo,” developing a solution to give construction, mining, and utility companies a better way to know exactly what is underground. Jeremy is a former decorated Major from the Israeli army Elite Intelligence Technological Unit and spent the last decade leading AI and signal processing teams.

Currently, improving jobsite productivity for all AEC professionals by introducing and implementing the best construction software to manage projects. I spent 5 years as a Field & Project Engineer working on large infrastructure projects in the Bay Area and saw first hand how inefficient and chaotic projects can be. There were many ways we were able to track work and documents on these projects with standard enterprise software, but in 2016, I started to see new emerging tech specifically for construction that made software more accessible to the field teams. At Fieldwire, I am able to impact change at a large scale in the industry by working with GCs, Subs, & Engineers to implement efficient and unique workflows based on the project and company restraints. Working with industry professionals (apprentices to executives) from all around the world has given me perspective not only on the construction industry, but allowed me to keep a pulse on the emerging world of Construction Software. Sam Bell chairs the Transportation Advisory Committee in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. As you will hear, that led him to close his highly-regarded auto repair shop in order to devote himself full-time to a small startup venture called RoadPrintz where he and his partner have been working to develop an operator-driven, truck-mounted, mobile robotic pavement marking system. He serves as a member of the City of Cleveland’s Design and Engineering Subcommittee of the Vision Zero Taskforce, and is a Board Member of ATSSA’s [American Traffic Safety Services] Ohio Chapter. He is the Principal Investigator on an ongoing National Science Foundation project in support of his company’s R&D efforts. He is married to his wife of 47 years, and is, he assures us, her ticket to sainthood! Sam, who has frequently been described as a true renaissance man, has a working fluency in Classical Greek and Latin, built his first tube-type computer in the 1950’s, and was named as a Champion of Sustainability in 2010, before it was cool. That same year, he became the only ASE-Automotive Technician ever to earn three consecutive perfect scores on the Advanced Level Certification exam, a feat for which he was named ASE Technician of the Year. As a Contributing Editor, he wrote numerous articles for MOTOR Magazine over a 20-year period, and served as a judge on its Top 20 Tool panel. He’s the author of several very geeky books and has helped with tool development projects for Snap-On, Matco, Hickok Instruments, and others. His dad was a NASA engineer who believed you should never own anything you couldn’t fix yourself. Sam met his partner, Wyatt Newman, PhD, PE, in 2007 when they were both involved in developing an autonomous robotic vehicle as part of the DARPA Urban Challenge. Their vehicle, codenamed DEXTER, was built without a driver’s seat or a steering wheel. DEXTER can be seen at the Crawford Auto/Aviation Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.

I'm a resourceful guy who was raised in San Francisco in a poor family. From my project work as an architectural student on scholarships at UC Berkeley and the University of Westminster to the many buildings that I have designed and now to my own 3D software company, I have devoted myself to user needs and customer needs. As a student I was awarded the two top prizes in my graduate program, including a fellowship to travel around the world for two years, during which I worked with architects in Rome and Budapest and immersed myself in foreign languages and cultures. In my practice as an architect, I earned a mid-career MBA degree. I combined my creative talent and business skills to lead teams on many landmark projects, including high-rise towers in SF, corporate HQ campuses in Silicon Valley and Marin County, hospitals across the US, university projects in California and Oregon, and a house for my family at the Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast.
I'm fairly imaginative, so it happened that I had a dream in 2014 about creating a metaverse of digital twins, although I was totally ignorant of those terms and relatively tech-averse. I proceeded to become much more tech-friendly and to gradually build a team of amazing people who I support and cherish. In 2017, we began to work on our dream full-time, pivoting from our part-time work providing 3D modeling services to develop 3D software products to democratize the access for everyone to do 3D design and visualization themselves. Jeremy literally grew up in the Restaurant Technology Industry. His family is the founders of Custom Business Solutions, Inc. and Jeremy’s early school vacations were spent soldering components for restaurant customers. Twenty-plus years later and Jeremy is VP, Professional Services for CBS, in charge of the implementation of technology systems for CBS customers.
