Pretty simple- just meditate- Hopefully each time we post it reminds you to take a minute to breathe and meditate. Don't overthink it, but take the time for yourself every day. The music shouldn't be distracting, but if it is please send me a note or let me know what kind of changes you want made. But I will keep it simple so that you can focus on yourself.
When was the last time you spent time outside? When did you take the time to meditate outside? Next time you get the chance try it! For now if you are at work or home use this time to meditate!

Today's episode we are talking about stillness and then spending a majority of the time meditating. Learning to be still both physically and mentally is a challenge and is something we have been focusing on the last few weeks.
Enjoy today's podcast and check out our blog Professionally Calm that we publish each week as well.
Here is the first long form music only podcast. Every few weeks we will be releasing a new longer form version. Save this as a favorite and come back to it later as you need music to meditate to. We will still be releasing shorter podcasts each week on Monday and mid-week we update our blog .
Special thanks to Bernard for creating this music!
This week we are focused on stillness- Taking time to be still can help us to slow down, become more mindful and present, and better understand our thoughts and emotions.
Subscribe to our blog Professionally Calm as we create new content each week. We hope that it will serve as a reminder and encourage you in your journey.
As we get more into meditation there isn't a one size fits all approach. Everyone responds differently. This week be aware of what you connect with and what distracts you.
Skip to 3:30 to start your meditation right away!
Take some time to clear your mind and rest (even if just for a few minutes). Most fail to spend even a few minutes each week resting and being mindful. Set a goal for the next two weeks to do this. After that you are many times more likely to succeed in making this a more permanent part of your schedule.
-skip 2:03 to start your meditation right away.
This episode will allow for some time to meditate. If you don't have a lot of time skip to 2:05 and start your meditation there!
This will kick off the start to our new episodes that are coming out in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy and benefit from the podcasts.
Hows the week going so far? If you are at work pay attention to your body and how you are feeling right this very second. Are you tired, tense or annoyed? If so acknowledge those feelings. How can you add positivity and relaxation to you day? Breathe and take time right now for yourself.
Since you probably forgot to meditate this morning try doing it at night (or maybe I just forgot)! End the day on a peaceful note. Breathe and focus on your positive thoughts and energy.
Try this one! It's a little shorter. But at the end of the day it's not about how good or bad the music is. It's about taking the time for yourself and trying to slow down.
Spend time today trying to refocus. Maybe you missed taking time for yourself earlier in the week. Today and right now is always the best time to start! Remember to breathe and try and find a spot with few distractions.
Try it! Why not!? Don't close your eyes if you actually are driving and be safe! But when you are driving and stuck in traffic use this podcast as a reminder to breathe. Simple as that! It's a time many people hate so why not make the most of it?
If you forgot to take time for yourself this week do it NOW! Breathe, meditate, and try to get in the zone. You will know when you are in the zone. For me it's right before I almost fall asleep and I am relaxed. I am still focusing on my breath though. Sit and close your eyes (unless you are driving then don't close your eyes). Don't forget to breathe! Try different breathing techniques! It's not rocket science, but pick a technique that works for you. If you don't have time to look into different techniques, just breathe and focus on your breath and don't worry about it. Have a great day and enjoy what it has to offer you!
This is the hardest thing to do! 10 minutes for yourself to think, reflect and meditate? Find a way to focus on you and your thoughts. Get creative! You might have 10 kids, 2 jobs and 20 cats and no time! If you have a quiet space great! If not sit at your computer or out at the job site and pretend to do work while listening to this and try to tune everything out. If someone questions you just let them know you were given a special assignment from your bosses boss and should just take a few more minutes (make it sound legitimate though and as if it's something you don't want to do so they leave you alone). I can guarantee work will still be there when you are done, but hopefully you will be more centered as you go back into your day.
Try to breathe in for 3-5 seconds at a time and make sure to exhale all the way out. Close your eyes if possible and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. This podcast is only 10 minutes or so long... If you are at work and your boss asks what you are doing just let them know you are working on the TPS report and will get it to them shortly! Try NOT focusing on work or the million other things you have going on (this is one of the hardest things to do).
