A daily micro podcast to help you get the more out of life
Short daily knowledge bombs to equip you in business
It's okay to say no to a work Christmas night out if you don't feel comfortable going. Going to social events with your colleagues can be intimidating, especially if an alcohol-centric atmosphere isn't the right environment for everyone. There are other reasons too why it might not be suitable for you to attend; maybe the event will take place at an inconvenient time or location, or perhaps your budget doesn't allow it. It can also be difficult to balance professional and personal relationships with colleagues, so attending a work function outside normal hours may not be ideal. No matter your reason for not wanting to go, it is important that you feel comfortable declining invitations to avoid any awkwardness or potential conflict. Remember that it is your decision and you should not be forced to attend if you don't want to. Communicate clearly and politely with your colleagues, so they know why you are not available, and explain that while you would love to join in the festivities, it simply isn’t feasible this year. You can also suggest alternative activities like getting together for lunch during the work day or organizing a virtual Christmas gathering instead. At the end of the day, it's okay to say no – whatever your reason may be! Respect yourself, respect others, and make sure that your decisions align with what is best for yourself and those around you. They may not understand at first but will come to accept it.
Active listening is a communication technique that requires the listener to fully concentrate, understand, and try to recall what is being said. It involves hearing the spoken words and paying close attention to the speaker's body language and non-verbal cues. The listener should avoid any judgments or assumptions while actively listening, How can you practice active listening? 1. Show that you are listening: Eye contact, nodding your head, and making affirmative sounds such as "uh-huh" can all show the speaker that you are paying attention and engaging with what they are saying 2. Ask questions: Asking clarifying questions can help to ensure that both parties are on the same page and that you have a complete understanding of what is being said 3. Avoid distractions: Any external distractions such as phones, laptops, or other people can be a significant obstacle in actively listening. It is essential to ensure that there are no distractions before engaging in active listening 4. Take notes: Taking notes can help to ensure that you remember the conversation in case you need to refer back to it at a later date 5. Use reflective statements: Reflective statements are phrases or questions that repeat or paraphrase what the speaker has said, such as "So you're saying…?" This allows the speaker to know that you are paying close attention and understanding what they are saying Active listening is an important communication skill that can help build relationships, increase understanding, and ensure messages get across clearly. In addition, practising active listening helps ensure better communication between parties and creates a feeling of mutual respect. You can become an active listener and improve your communication skills with some effort and practice. This is not just a skill for sales. it's a skill for life.
Rejection is a major issue in the sales industry. It can lead to lower morale, missed opportunities, and decreased profits. To mitigate the effects of rejection in sales, it's important to understand why it happens and how you can prevent it from occurring In some cases, rejection occurs because your product isn't a good fit for the customer or because they don't have the budget for what you're offering. In other cases, it may be due to personality conflicts between you and the customer or simply because they aren't interested in buying what you're offering at that time No matter the reason for rejection, there are steps you can take to help reduce its impact on your business. Focus on understanding the customer's needs and goals. This will help you identify the best solution for them, which may not necessarily be what you are offering. Practice active listening to ensure that you fully comprehend the customer's requirements before suggesting a product or solution. Use feedback from customers who have rejected your offer to refine your strategies and make sure that prospects are more likely to purchase from you. Finally, stay positive even when facing rejection. Remind yourself of past successes and focus on building relationships with potential customers instead of closing deals. By doing so, you can turn a negative experience into an opportunity to build trust with prospective buyers and ultimately grow your business
When it comes to successful sales and customer satisfaction, product fulfillment is key. Ensuring that customers receive the products they ordered promptly is essential for an enjoyable buying experience. By providing great customer service throughout the entire purchase process, from start to finish, businesses can ensure a higher level of satisfaction from their clients.
Product fulfillment also plays an important role in overall business operations by helping streamline other processes like inventory management and shipping. By making sure that orders are fulfilled quickly and efficiently, businesses can create a positive chain reaction with further benefits like improved efficiency, better resource utilization, and decreased costs.
At its core, product fulfillment is all about creating lasting relationships between buyers and sellers through trust and reliability. When customers feel confident that their orders will be processed and shipped quickly, they are more likely to return for future purchases. And happy customers often mean better reviews, which can help attract further business.
Ultimately, product fulfillment is the key to successful sales and customer satisfaction. By consistently meeting customer expectations throughout the entire purchase process, businesses can ensure a positive buying experience and build lasting relationships with their clients. It's a win-win situation for both buyers and sellers!
When it comes to providing great service and keeping customers satisfied, excellent communication is also essential. Keeping in contact with customers via email or phone ensures that any questions or concerns are addressed swiftly – helping create an even smoother purchasing process.
Remember if it's not written down it's not a process. Take the time to construct a chain of action to carry out and a checklist of deliverables.
For the love of god do not assume things, things. Have been completed.
Getting a sale is good but fulfilling it and knowing that all parties are happy is great.

There are so many things in your life that you cannot control. Weather, economic climate, political environment, war, and pandemics. You could waste a considerable amount of time and energy trying.
Instead, focus on what you can control and make it work in your favour. For example, have complete clarity over the vision of where you want to be and create a plan to get there. Break down the larger goals into smaller, manageable chunks that are easier to achieve
In business, this means understanding what success looks like for your product or service and developing strategies to reach that goal. Take the time to examine all aspects of the process -
from marketing campaigns to sales processes - so that each element is tailored to maximise results. Set benchmarks and measure progress against those at regular intervals so that improvements can be made as needed. You may only partially control some elements of your life and business. You decide how you respond to them. This is a crucial factor in determining your success. So, invest energy into understanding yourself and those around you so that you can make informed decisions that will help move things in the desired direction. Finally, be patient - it takes time to see results when working on something long-term.

Confidence and humility can be challenging to balance, yet they are essential traits to maintaining healthy relationships with others. To be confident means believing in yourself and your capabilities while also recognising the strengths of those around you. Humility means acknowledging that you don't have all the answers and being open to learning from mistakes without feeling less worthy. Both qualities should be embraced to build self-confidence, respect for others, and positive relationships within one's community.
The first step in achieving this balance is developing an understanding of yourself. Take time to reflect on your successes and challenges; use this knowledge to identify personal growth areas where confidence can take root. Having a clear sense of who you are and what you can do is key to self-confidence.
Humility should also be a part of this process—acknowledge there may always be something new to learn and don't be afraid to ask for help or advice. Open yourself up to feedback from
those around you, whether it's a mentor or a trusted friend. Ask how their perspectives differ from yours and welcome conversations about differences in opinion. This allows building on your existing strengths while learning more about yourself in the process.
To maintain a balance between confidence and humility, focus on being kind to yourself when mistakes are made. We all make mistakes, but they shouldn't define us, nor should they cause us to doubt our self-worth. When a failure does occur, please take it as an opportunity to learn and grow; focus on the lessons learned rather than dwelling on the mistake itself.
Confidence and humility are two qualities that can help build strong relationships with others. Work to find a balance between the two to develop self-awareness and respect for those around you. In this way, you can be confident and humble—and live a life of greater understanding.
Be confident in yourself and your abilities but resist the need to broadcast it to those around you.
Remember, just because you are the biggest in the room, it doesn't mean you have to be the biggest in the room.

January is less than 4 weeks away, and you will soon be bombarded with people telling you that you're not optimising your wealth.
It's true. It happens every year!
Some of it is great, and some of it is scary.
You don't have to shave your head, meditate on the top of a mountain, breathe like a free diver, eat raw vegetables, and become a yogi. I have done all of these apart from one.
Yeah, you've read those articles too. But we don't have to do it all once or go full blunt force, health guru.
Instead, look at adding these things into your everyday life. For example, make up your own morning routine.
Here is a list of my favourites. Of course, you can try some of these in one go or of them.
Have a ritual.
The first thing I do is make coffee.
I like the process and repetition of the smells and, of course, the caffeine. This signals the start of the day, and having something familiar feels good.
Brain dump journal. If I must remember multiple tasks and keep them in my head, it means it's taking up bandwidth in my head. So, write it down, make a voice recording add it to your notes.
Sweat, but not until you bleed. Who remembers the C&C music factory. Get a sweat on, the blood pressure pumping, push yourself, release the endorphins,d and enjoy some mental clarity. Who doesn't want to feel elated? Let's? Get HIGH. The benefits of cardio or great for your body, heart, or head. Skipping, cycling, rowing, running.
Practice gratitude. This may be the most straightforward and worthwhile exercise on the list. We are all bombarded with materialistic possessions. Cars, bags, watches, yachts, property, and even health and fitness equipment. It's easy to be swayed by everything you don't have.
Read a book for fun, that's right. Read a book for fun. Put down your business books and just read something for fun. The calmness and relaxation that comes from escaping in a book or unparallel. Turn the phone off.
Pour yourself a cuppa and just read.
It's simple, effective, fun and relaxing.
DRINK MORE WATER. It's simpler than reading a book. If you're lucky, it comes out of your tap. Scottish water is fantastic. The benefits of water are excellent, too. It improves mental performance, removes waste from your body and can help reduce calorie intake. I could do a whole article on water. Aim for about 2.5-3.5 litres of water.
Studies have shown that having a regular morning routine can boost brainpower, set your mind for success, and make you more productive. Here's how it works:
Establishing this quick yet meaningful morning routine can help you be more productive and thrive daily. So – give yourself that jumpstart to success and take charge of your morning. You won't regret it!
Remember, the most successful and long-lasting changes are applied gradually.
Let me know which one you are going to add this week.

We are faced with problems every day. I prefer to call them obstacles. The problem is sometimes of our creation but.
As Forrest Gump would say, "it happens."
The only thing we can control is how we deal with it.
How you handle a crisis and problems can tell about your character. It takes a specific type of person to remain calm and composed under pressure. Still, those people can often come up with the best solutions. In difficult times, taking a step back and assessing the situation objectively is essential. Taking the time to evaluate the details of the problem will help you come up with an effective solution. Once you have identified what needs to be done, focus on taking concrete steps towards resolving the issue. Involve other parties to gain their perspectives and expertise so that everyone can work together towards finding an answer.
It is essential to remain optimistic in extreme situations with no clear answer or solution. A positive attitude will help you maintain the mental energy needed to tackle the issue. Additionally, it is essential to remember that sometimes the best solution is to accept what has happened and move on.
The way we react and handle problems is an indication of our character. Staying calm in difficult times and finding solutions quickly can be incredibly helpful. It also helps us build resilience so that when similar issues arise again, we are better equipped to handle them. This makes all of us stronger people overall.
Ultimately, how you respond to a crisis or problem says a lot about your character and can often have far-reaching implications for your life. In these situations, the best approach is to take a step back, assess the issue objectively, and develop an effective action plan. This can help us make better decisions and ultimately reach a successful resolution when done correctly.
So when faced with tough challenges, stay calm and remain positive—your character will thank you for it! Running away from problems will not solve them; instead, be brave enough to confront them head-on with resilience and determination. Every situation has a solution, but only if you are willing to work and find it.
With the right attitude and mindset, anything can be achieved.

Perfection can be a great motivator and an excellent goal to strive for. However, it should never come at the expense of productivity. Perfectionism is a natural human trait that often serves us well; after all, it forces us to pay attention to detail and create work of impeccable quality. But when taken too far, perfectionism can hinder our progress. It can lead to procrastination and self-doubt as we become so focused on the pursuit of perfection that we forget about the importance of getting things done.
The key is striking a balance between striving for excellence and maintaining momentum. We should aim for high standards in our work while still allowing ourselves the room necessary to produce meaningful results in a timely manner. It is important to remember that progress isn't always linear or perfect and that mistakes are often an essential part of the learning process.
Focus on finding ways to be productive without sacrificing quality or becoming overwhelmed with perfectionism. Instead, create realistic goals, break tasks down into manageable pieces and give yourself grace when things turn out differently than planned. This way, you can achieve great results while allowing yourself the space to make mistakes, learn and grow. Remember: perfection is not the enemy of production; it's just one of many essential ingredients in producing success.
Here are five ways to start a project without waiting for it to be perfect
Start with small steps: Break the project down and focus on the smaller tasks first; this will give you a sense of accomplishment as each part is completed.
Set realistic expectations: Don't expect perfection from yourself or your team, but do strive for excellence
Give yourself grace: Remember that mistakes are often a necessary part of learning and growth, so don't be too hard on yourself if things don't turn out perfectly as planned
Prioritize: Identity what needs to be done first. Focus on completing those tasks rather than trying to perfect every detail at once
Collaborate: Working with a partner or colleague can help keep you accountable while also providing a valuable second opinion or additional perspective on the project
By keeping these tips in mind and remembering that perfection is not the enemy of production, you can create meaningful results without sacrificing quality. With practice and perseverance, you can master the art of balancing perfectionism with productivity.

When pursuing excellence, there's something special about finding that one thing you are great at outside of work. It can be enriching and positively shape your life.
Rowing is a fantastic way to get better at something outside of my day-to-day routine. It helps keep my mind and body sharp by challenging me mentally and physically every time I practice. And when I beat personal bests in time and endurance, the feeling of success is unparalleled.
The same goes for any hobby or activity you choose to pursue. Learning an instrument, playing a sport, cooking delicious dishes, writing poetry, painting - whatever brings you joy and a sense of accomplishment should be pursued with vigour.
There's no better feeling than developing a skill. When it comes to finding something you love doing and getting good at, that sense of pride is worth more than any material reward.
The pursuit of excellence isn't about competing against others. It's about competing against yourself, pushing your boundaries, limiting beliefs and striving for greatness daily.
Be bold, challenge yourself, find your tribe, get excited and enjoy the process.
Be a geek for that stuff and embrace the adventure.

When it comes to extra work, saying no can be challenging, especially when trying to make a good impression. However, there are several important reasons why you may want to think twice before agreeing to take on too much. One of the most significant risks of accepting too many responsibilities is that your regular job could suffer. You may find yourself stretched too thin and unable to give enough attention or care to the tasks in your primary role. This could lead to decreased performance and jeopardize your standing with your employer. You should also be aware that taking on too much extra work might mean that your employer is taking advantage of you - consciously or unconsciously. Asking employees for more than they can realistically handle is a form of exploitation, and it won't do you any favours in the long run. Therefore, while it may be hard to say no at first, it's essential to take a step back and assess whether accepting extra work will benefit you. Thinking carefully about how taking on more responsibilities could affect your job performance is a must before saying yes! If you're unsure if you should be taking on additional tasks, try talking to your manager or Human Resources representative - they can offer advice to help ensure your workload remains manageable. Ultimately, making sound decisions for yourself and setting appropriate boundaries will help ensure you don't get overwhelmed with too much work. Saying 'no' can be challenging but protecting yourself and your job is sometimes necessary. How should you say no to your boss while being professional? BE assertive but respectful. Start by expressing gratitude for the opportunity and explain why you can't do the extra work. Be sure to provide valid reasons related to your job performance or other obligations so your boss does not think you are neglecting responsibilities. If you feel comfortable doing so, offer suggestions on how the task could be completed if additional resources aren't available. Then, thank them for understanding and reiterate that you appreciate being considered for the extra work. Ultimately, it's important to remember that it's okay to set boundaries to protect yourself from taking on too much. Being assertive and direct but respectful will help ensure that your boss respects your decision while maintaining a positive relationship with them. Good luck! AND Frankly, it's dangerous. Last week, I spoke about output and productivity on a Friday afternoon. But ladies and gents, as I record this, we still have 50 days left of this year. I have had several conversations where people have told me that. Projects and launches can be started next year. I'm sure you are all familiar with Gates Law. "Most people overestimate what they can achieve in a year and underestimate what they can achieve in ten years." Although I believe it was Roy Amara in the 1960s "we overestimate the impact of technology in the short-term and underestimate the effect in the long run." But people, we still have 42 days left of 2022 What do you want to achieve before the end of the year? What could you do in 6 weeks? The other definition of madness is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. As a person who spent lots of time playing video games in the 80s and 90s, I can tell you. But, sometimes, you have to try something slightly different when faced with a challenge or a difficult situation. The next time you are faced with a problem, you can solve it using this method 1. There's no denying it. Procrastination is a tough habit to break. But the good news is that you can beat procrastination using a step-by-step system. The first step is to understand why you procrastinate. It's important to know that procrastination isn't always about laziness. In many cases, it's about fear. Fear of failure, fear of the unknown, or even plain old anxiety can all lead to procrastination. The next step is to start reasoning about your fears. Ask yourself the worst thing that could happen if you tried and failed at whatever it is you're procrastinating on. The answer is usually much less scary than the initial fear. The third step is to take action. This can be difficult, but it's important to remember that procrastination is a choice. You can choose to sit around and do nothing, or you can choose to take action and make things happen. Procrastination doesn't have to rule your life. You can beat it and get back on track with a little effort. Just remember to take things one step at a time. And if you slip up, don't beat yourself up about it. Just get back on the horse and try again. You'll get there eventually.
One of the most beneficial tools I have utilised this year is journaling. I have a journal which sits on my office desk. When I walk into the office, it sits in front of the monitor. It's a big black book, and on the front of it I have a pink post-it notes, and written on that are these three words. BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE! and next to that post note sits my favourite pen. These are the questions I ask myself before starting work. 1. What am I proud of? What is my gift or input to the world 2. Who needs to be acknowledged 3. How can I help someone else today 4. What are the three key tasks I need to complete today 5. What might I need help with, and who will I ask 6. What will a perfect day look like 7. What do I need to do to make that a reality 8. Can I improve my performance 9. How will I measure it 10. How would I like to describe my performance today If you go through these steps, you will have three decisive wins. 1. An enormous sense of well being 2. A productive day 3. A sense of completion Many people try making journaling bigger than it is or don't understand it. For me, it's jotting down my thoughts, intents, and feelings to have a more enjoyable and productive day. It's like jazz. It's not one thing. It's many different things to many people. So the only person that must enjoy or get it is you. Don't take my word for it. TRY It FOR 30 DAYS AND SEE IF IT'S FOR YOU. You don't need to use my question or methods but try it before you have a biased, uninformed opinion on it. Slay That Dragon

I used to live a life of poverty, and I like to remind myself how great my life is because we can forget or start taking things for granted. Take stock of everything we have. 3. Progress, Progress, Progress I have a busy mind, and the part that helps me feel truly alive is always trying to create something different or moving towards a goal or a project. One of the main ways I like to progress is by learning. But, unfortunately, I spent so much of my young life being force-fed shitty education from piss poor teachers. Some of them were great. Educating yourself on your own terms for your own purpose is incredible. Never stop learning 4. Be honest and tell people how you feel. There is a feeling in all of us that you need to dial into. The more often, the more powerful it will become. I'm not talking about Star Wars The Force. You don't have to run about declaring your undying love like you are in a Shakespeare play. I had a conversation with a good friend of mine on Friday.
He was unceremoniously sacked from a company that he had helped build.
Over the last year, he and his friend built a successful software company. But, like many start-ups, it was filled with challenges and obstacles.
He said that he didn't mind working together was excellent. Although they were constantly under attack, he felt that working in this partnership was great as he had a comrade to work alongside and weather the storm.
I will spare you the gory details, but OMG. No redeeming features from the partner. Zero.
Once he got it out of his system and talked to him about it.
I told him about the power of Forgiveness.
This met a strong raised eyebrow, and "are you kidding me"?
I told him to make peace with the situation and move forward.
Forgiveness is an attribute of the strong. Life is too short to carry a head full of broken glass and hatred. So instead, use that energy to fuel your next outstanding achievement.
There is no point in him carrying around the negativity, that frequency of anger or viewing life through a cloudy lens.
If you have been wronged, forgive, move forward, and rebuild.
I'm not talking about skiving off early to go to the pub.
I'm talking about taking time off to recharge, reflect on the week, and get some pep back in your step.
I'm passionate about my job because my primary goal is to help people have more successful businesses.

Ensure you finish work on time and draw a line under answering work communications outside working hours. Customers and employers will quickly harness your efforts if you blur the lines on the time you finish.
Have a plan for what your weekend looks like, meet with friends and family, go for walks, watch a show, and visit the cinema. The list can be endless. But, unfortunately, waking up on a Saturday and watching the next two days evaporate is easy. So, try to save your weekend.
If you struggle to switch off at the weekend, make sure you ask for help or at least share it with a close friend.
There is always someone there to listen to you.
Before anyone starts on what a shitbag he is.
Let's look at the level of professional success, From Boston to Bombay and beyond.
We can all agree that Elon is right at the front of the race to succeed in business and move the needle of progress for humanity.
In addition to being one of the wealthiest on the planet, he is also one of the most successful.
But he has also had several failures behind him.
Tesla was initially a massive failure at the start
He was rejected from several tech jobs, most notably Netscape
He was booted out as CEO at ZIP2
There was a strong belief that space X would fail
PayPal was shot down in flames at its earliest stages.
So, what mindset do you need to cultivate to be the Captain of your destiny?
No matter the hard path, no matter how significant the obstacles are, you must keep travelling towards YOUR chosen destination.
This builds strength. While submitting to the ideas of others can dilute your passion and personality.
Remember, good, bad, or ugly, you are responsible for every stage of your life. Everything starts and finishes with you, no matter what hand you have been dealt.
I don't mind walking up a hill for four, maybe five hours if a couple of things are factored in
Who is joining me on this climb?
What is the destination?
How are we going to measure our success or progress?
Are we prepared and equipped for the excursion?
These are the factors I will consider before spending my time.
Think about it.
Imagine we are going hillwalking together, and I tell you, "keep walking till I tell you to stop". You might think you would be executed and buried, especially if I made you carry a spade.
You weren't expecting that on a podcast.
When it comes to your professional life. How are you measuring your success?
Are you enjoying your job? If you are, this is great. You spend so much of your brainpower and time at your job. It's hard to pour energy into your job if you are not enjoying it.
Do you enjoy the people you work with? The world moves fast these days, so ask yourself, would you like to work with these people 2 or 5 years from now?
What is the end goal for you? Where do you want to end up? It's only possible to plan a journey by knowing your destination.
Measuring progress is different for everyone: financial remuneration, roles, responsibilities, opportunities, and freedom. These are some of the ways I measure my progress in my professional life.
If you can't measure your success, it will leave you without a compass to weather the storm of your professional life.
hat's not helpful, and I'm challenging it.
Let's change it to Adventure syndrome!
Who has heard of Dora The Explorer?
She's brave and confident and will attempt anything and everything. No task is too challenging for her, no forest too dark, no channel too vast and no mountain too high.
I'm sure there were times when she was nervous and apprehensive. But that is part of being adventurous that goes along with the territory of being an explorer.
She probably recognised those feelings and thought this is where I am supposed to be. She wasn't caught up in an imposter syndrome mindset. She knew those feelings were part of the adventure.
I am trying to remember her repeating her adventures, but I can't. They always became bigger. Always progressive and more challenging.
If you want a truly fulfilling life, shrug off your imposter syndrome and embrace adventure syndrome.

I can become focused on a specific task for a short period, and I can also lose Focus on a long-term project.

Throughout my career, I have had many different businesses.
Some of them failed, and some of them were successful.
The level of Focus you have will not only affect the outcome of your business but will also impact how you feel about your performance.
It's easy to get distracted when you are in business. However, you will undoubtedly have many new ideas, especially when things are going well.
You might even think you have enough success and momentum in your first project that you could quickly start another.
You may start something completely new, add another product, or create a new offer.
Not only will this take time and energy away from your first business, but what about when things go wrong when you hit any number of road bumps?
It would be great if every business were a Nike swoosh of acceleration, growth, and profit. Still, you will have problems with
suppliers, staffing, cash flow, and fulfilment. Unfortunately, that is a reality for many businesses. Scaling requires a massive amount of attention, funding, and Focus.
But what about when the business, team industry economy is going through a rollercoaster of ups, and downs, corkscrews pirouettes and collapses?
You need to maintain Focus. Focus on one single outcome will significantly increase your chance of success.
How many yachts can you captain at once?
Make sure you can safely and healthily operate your business. This includes taking full responsibility for all of it.
Here are my top five tips
Outline a defined period where you will solely focus on one goal, 90 days, or 180 days. There will be times when you need to stay the course, primarily through tough times, build up some callouses and become comfortable with pain.
Identify your distractions and use a strategy to get past them—the shiny object syndrome.
Outsource what you can and leverage other people's expertise and experience.

Change can be tricky, but it can also be an excellent opportunity for growth. Challenge yourself to see the potential in every shift, and you'll be surprised at how much you can accomplish. Embrace change, and comfort yourself with the knowledge that you can handle anything that comes your way. You can make change work for you with a positive attitude and a little effort. So go out there and conquer the world - one change at a time! Five ways to become comfortable with change 1. Anticipate change. Don't be caught off guard by change - try to anticipate it before it happens. This way, you can be prepared mentally and emotionally for whatever comes your way. 2. See change as an opportunity. Change is a chance to learn and grow. So embrace change, and use it as an opportunity to improve your life. 3. Be positive. A positive attitude is crucial when dealing with change. See the potential in every shift, and believe you can handle it. 4. Be prepared. It will be much easier to deal with if you're well-prepared for change. So make sure you have a plan and be ready to execute. 5. Seek support. If you're struggling to cope with change, seek help from friends, family, or a professional. Sometimes it can be helpful to talk to someone who understands what you're going through. https://linktr.ee/salesmindsetandbusiness SLAY THAT DRAGON #sales #mindset #business
Take some time to walk through some ideas on how you can overcome fear. Think about things like security, the opinions of others, failing, etc. Writing it out will help you see solutions more clearly.
-Start with a positive mindset. Acknowledge your fear, but don't dwell on it. Fear is natural, but it doesn't have to control you. Instead, shift your focus to what you want to achieve.
-Get rid of the idea that there is only one way to do things. There are many paths to success. Be open to trying new things and failing. It's all part of the learning process.
-Talk to others who have overcome similar fears. Hearing their stories will remind you that it is possible to overcome your fears. You can also get some great tips and advice from them.
-Visualise yourself overcoming your fear. See yourself being successful and achieving your goals. This will help you believe that overcoming your fear is possible.
-Break down your goals into small, manageable steps. When you take small steps, it's less daunting, and you're more likely to succeed.
-Build up your confidence by taking on more minor challenges first. Then, as you overcome these, it will give you the confidence to tackle more significant fears.
-Reward yourself for your successes, no matter how small they may be. This will help to keep you motivated and focused on overcoming your fear.
When standing at the bottom of the hill, it's easier to tell yourself why you can't climb it, how tough it will be and that you are not prepared for it.
Instead, tell yourself how easy it will be, how much you will enjoy it, how rewarding it will be and how worthwhile it will be.

If you're not afraid to seize opportunities, your life can be infinitely more rewarding. But unfortunately, so many people let their fears hold them back from pursuing their passions and committing to what they truly want in life.
Don't be one of those people! Instead, if you're passionate about something, go for it with everything you've got. And if you're not sure what your passion is yet, keep exploring until you find it. The world is full of possibilities, and there's no time like the present to start chasing your dreams.
So what are you waiting for? It's time to step out of your comfort zone and start truly living your life. Have confidence in yourself and your abilities, and go after what you want with everything you've got. You won't regret it!

Media outlets are rubbing their hands and laughing as they peddle out this relentless narrative of the world ending. "If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you are catastrophizing, try to take a step back and remind yourself that things are usually not as bad as they seem. And if you're still feeling overwhelmed, reach out for support from friends, family, or a professional. We all need help sometimes!
Three ways to stop catastrophising:
Acknowledge that your thoughts are just thoughts, not reality.
Challenge your pessimistic predictions by asking yourself what evidence you must support them.
Focus on what you can do to improve the situation rather than dwelling on the worst possible outcome.

Do you ever feel like you're not living up to your potential? Like you're not quite reaching the heights you know you're capable of? It's time to embrace your inner sparkle and magic!
When we were kids, the belief was easy. We believed in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and that we could be anything we wanted to be when we grew up. Somewhere along the way, life happened, and we stopped believing. We told ourselves that those things were for children, that we had to be realistic now. But what if belief is the key to achieving our dreams?
You must believe in yourself and your abilities before anyone else will. Once you do, doors will start opening and opportunities will start presenting themselves. But you must be passionate about what you're doing - belief without passion is just another pipe dream. You must go after your dreams with conviction, knowing that you can and will make them a reality.
So, forget about being realistic - it's time to embrace your inner sparkle and magic! Start believing in yourself and watch the amazing things that happen.

There's a big difference between being short on time and low on productivity. When you're short on time, it means you have less time than usual to get things done. This can be due to several factors, such as a busy schedule or unexpected delays. On the other hand, low productivity means you're not working as efficiently as you could be. This can be due to several factors, such as distractions or poor time management.
There are a few key things you can do to increase your productivity.
First, make sure you have a clear goal in mind. What is it that you want to achieve? Once you know your goal, you can work on creating a plan to help you reach it.
Second, keep track of your time. Use a timer or an app to help you stay on track and focused on the task at hand. This will help you avoid getting side-tracked and will allow you to see how long certain tasks take so that you can better plan your time in the future.
Third, take breaks! It may seem counterintuitive but taking breaks can help you be more productive. Stepping away.

There will be times in your life when you'll need to be disciplined and motivated. Maybe you're working towards a goal that seems impossible, or you're trying to break a bad habit. Whatever the case may be, discipline and motivation are key.
Here are some techniques you can use to motivate yourself:
-Find your why. Why are you doing what you're doing? What is your goal? When you have a clear purpose, it's easier to stay motivated.
-Make a plan. Having a plan of action will help you focus and stay on track. Write down what you need to do each day or week to reach your goal.
-Set small goals. Celebrate each accomplishment along the way. This will help you stay motivated and inspired to keep going.
-Find a role model. Look for someone who has already achieved what you're striving for. Seeing proof that it's possible will help you believe in yourself.
-Create a positive mindset. Change your self-talk from negative to positive. Tell yourself that you can do it and believe it.
-Visualize your success. See yourself achieving your goal in your mind's eye. This will help you stay focused and motivated.
With discipline and motivation, you can achieve anything you set your mind to!

It's well accepted that having a positive outlook on life can lead to all sorts of benefits, both in the short term and the long term. But what if you're not naturally a "glass half full" kind of person? Is it possible to develop a more positive outlook, even if it doesn't come naturally to you?
Here are a few tips:
Try to see the good in people and situations. This one can be tough, especially if you're used to looking for the negative. But try to focus on the positives, and you may find that your outlook starts to improve.
Don't dwell on bad experiences or dwell on what could have been. It's easy to get stuck in a negative spiral if you dwell on past experiences or what might have been. But try to let go of those thoughts and focus on the present.
Find things to be thankful for. Gratitude has been shown to have all sorts of benefits, both mental and physical. Take a moment each day to think about something you're thankful for. It could be anything from your health to a beautiful sunset.
Spend time with positive people. We tend to adopt the attitudes of the people we spend the most time with. Surround yourself with positive people, and you may find your own attitude becoming more positive.
Practice random acts of kindness. Doing something nice for someone else can give you a great sense of wellbeing

Are you angry at other people in your life when you should be angry with yourself?
I net one of my friends for lunch in town last week.
I as always arrived first and he as usual arrived late.
We had a tremendous lunch, and it was great to catch up with him.
When we left the restaurant, it went downhill.
He had parked his car outside and had received a parking ticket.
“Fuckin parking wardens”
He had put enough money in for 30 mins of parking and we were in the restaurant for a little more than an hour
The next words out of him were “I can’t believe they gave me a ticket?”
He’s my friend and I love him. But seriously
If you don’t want a parking ticket, put enough money to cover the amount of time that your car is in the bay.
Making mistakes is part of life it’s what makes us human, but when you make a mistake, you need to own up to it and think about how you can prevent it happening again.
He could have shrugged it off, paid the fine and learned the lesson but he then tried to demonise parking wardens
If you don’t want a parking ticket in life, then make sure you don’t put yourself in that position.

About 5 years ago I interviewed world record long distance cyclist Mark
Beaumont and he spoke about two types of fun
Type One fun
It’s enjoyable while it’s happening, it’s simply fun or in Glaswegian a bit of a
carry on. It is in it’s purest fun. I like to think of it as fast food
Type Two fun
Is miserable, it requires a different fear, a battle with your mind as the Chinese
martial artist say eat bitter, taking yourself to the limit and seriously debating is
this fun.
You can’t get a sense of achievement from spending the whole day at
Disneyland and some would say that Cycling from Rome to Florence in 5 days
is not fun, but OMG does it come with a sense of achievement.
If you want the Rainbow whatever it may be then you will have to put in a fair
amount of effort and deal with adversity, but the great thing is the more often
you deal with that adversity the more your palate will get used to eating bitter.
It’s the same in all aspects of life sometimes you need to go through some pain
and that is okay I think that is the secret to life.
Growing through adversity.
The next time life is giving you type two fun, treat it as an opportunity to
develop and grow.
Therefore, sports are essential to personal growth and development.

I’m talking to the person that is wrestling right now!
Not the person that is contemplating passing half guard
No, I’m talking to the person that is playing out the battle in their head of what
they should and shouldn’t do.
It’s hard to fight a battle on two fronts, it’s exhausting, but worse than that it
can be a terrible habit to form.
Let’s take the person that is sitting on the couch deciding if they should spend
the rest of the night sitting on the couch or if they should exercise.
Let’s look at the options
drink some water and then go home and watch some telly
yourself
extending that window then talk yourself into watching another 10
minutes then another ten minutes than feeling ashamed that you didn’t do
the thing you were supposed to do
decided on the outcome
You have taken the decision to relax and practice some self-love
You failed to choose and have now spent the evening tormenting yourself
and not gaining any progress in any direction.
Do not cultivate this mindset. If you do it will more than likely bleed into other
decision-making processes in your life.
If you choose to do nothing, make sure it is a choice instead of a default
position for coping with the unknown.

I worked as a hairdresser for about 15 years.
No matter how hard an assistant or junior worked, you could not outwork experience and the

And no two hairdressers are the same!
The funny thing is when you qualify (what a magical moment, money can't buy the feeling), I'm

Years ago, I had hands down one of the worst jobs of my career, and although the company is
highly successful, it wasn't the right fit for me.
I didn't do myself any favours by trying to fit into that mold at every step of the recruitment

What adventure do you want for your life, and what time frame are you playing?
Most of us go through life playing it safe. We stick to what's comfortable and familiar, even if it
isn't necessarily the best thing for us. But comfort can be a trap. It can hold us back from taking
risks and achieving our full potential.
Sometimes, the only way to achieve something great is to take a risk. That might mean moving
out of your comfort zone and into unknown territory. It might mean trying something new or
challenging yourself differently. Whatever it is, bravery always involves stepping outside of your
comfort zone.
Of course, taking risks doesn't always lead to success. But without risk, we'll never know what
we're truly capable of achieving. So next time you're faced with an opportunity, take a deep
breath and go for it. You might surprise yourself.

Punctuality is essential for several reasons. Respect, discipline, and productivity are just a few
benefits of punctuality.
Respect is one of the most important things in any relationship, personal or professional.
Showing up on time shows that you respect the other person's time and value their company. It
also sets the tone for the rest of the interaction – if you're late, it sets a precedent that it's okay for
you to be late in the future.
Discipline is another crucial benefit of punctuality. When you make punctuality a priority, it
shows that you're disciplined and organized. This can be an essential quality in both your
personal and professional life.
Finally, productivity is another key benefit of being punctual. When you respect other people's
time, you're more likely to receive respect. This mutual respect can lead to a more productive
interaction, whether it's a meeting at work or a catch-up with friends.
So next time you're running late, remember the importance of punctuality. It shows respect for
others, demonstrates discipline, and can lead to a more productive interaction.
Do you know who runs late? Amateurs.

Most people's lives are filled with stress and anxiety. It's important to take some time out for yourself and relax. Relaxation can help improve your mental health and performance. When you're feeling stressed, your body goes into fight-or-flight mode. This can make it difficult to think clearly or perform well. Relaxation techniques can help you feel more relaxed and cope with stress. There are many different ways to relax. Some people prefer to meditate, while others may enjoy yoga or aromatherapy. Experiment to find what works best for you. Taking even a few minutes out of your day to relax can make a big difference in how you feel. Here are my top 5 ways to relax: 1. Get enough sleep: Most people need around eight hours per night. Consider going to bed and waking up simultaneously each day to help regulate your body’s natural sleep rhythm. 2. Eat healthily: Eating nutritious meals helps your body to function at its best. Make sure to include plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your diet. 3. Exercise: Exercise releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects. A moderate amount of exercise is the key to maintaining your mental health and well-being. 4. Take breaks: When you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a few minutes to yourself to relax and rejuvenate. Step away from your work, take a break from your screen, and take some deep breaths. 5. Connect with loved ones: Spending time with loved ones can help reduce stress and promote positive emotions. Whether you stay in touch via text, social media, or person, quality time with those you care about is crucial for a healthy mind and body. #sales #mindset #business If you want to learn more click the link https://linktr.ee/salesmindsetandbusiness
What others think of you is none of your business. It's not worth worrying about what other people think of you - confidence is key.
People will always have opinions, but that doesn't mean you have to listen to them. Just because someone has an opinion about you, doesn't make it fact.
Opinions are just opinions - they're not worth getting worked up about. So don't let what others think of you get in the way of living your best life. Be confident, and remember: it's none of your business.

When it comes to leadership, there are a lot of different qualities that can make someone a good leader. However, some of the most important qualities of leadership are confidence and conviction.
Confidence is important because it helps leaders project calmness and authority. People are more likely to follow a leader who seems confident in their ability to lead. Conviction is also important because it shows that the leader truly believes in what they are doing. This can be inspiring to others and help them buy into the leader's vision.
Of course, there are many other qualities that make a great leader. But confidence and conviction are two of the most important ones. So if you want to be a better leader, start by working on these two qualities.
How can you display leadership abilities if you work for yourself?
If you have a team or are in management, leadership qualities are automatically more available to show. But if you work for yourself, leadership qualities may not be as transparent. Here are some ways to demonstrate leadership abilities when working for yourself:

When we trust ourselves, we are able to take risks and experience failure. This allows us to learn and grow as individuals. However, when we place our trust in others, we can often be disappointed or let down. We may also miss out on opportunities to develop our own skills and abilities. Therefore, it is important to balance our trust between ourselves and others.
How can you learn to trust your instincts and intuition more? Here are a few tips:
Before you can trust your instincts, you need to get to know yourself. This means understanding your values, beliefs and goals. Once you know what is important to you, it will be easier to trust your gut instinct when making decisions.
Your body is often a good indicator of what is right for you. If you feel anxious or stressed about a situation, it may be best to avoid it. Pay attention to your physical reactions and trust them as a guide.
Your thoughts and emotions can also give you clues about what you should or shouldn’t do. If you find yourself constantly doubting your decisions, it may be a sign that you need to trust your intuition more.
Meditation and mindfulness can help you to focus on the present moment and become more aware of your thoughts and feelings. This can be a useful tool for learning to trust your instincts.
It is important to take some time for yourself every day. This will allow you to relax and connect with your inner thoughts and feelings. When you are in tune with yourself, it will be easier to trust your instincts.

In any field comes from taking risks. This is especially true in the professional world, where growth and development hinge on seeking new opportunities and experiences. Of course, not all risks are created equal, and weighing the potential rewards against the possible downside is important before taking a leap. But in general, taking more risks can lead to greater success. There are a few key reasons why this is the case. First, progress requires change, which often means stepping outside your comfort zone. If you're not willing to take risks, you'll likely find yourself stuck in the same place for a long time. Second, risk-taking can help you learn and grow as a person. You'll gain new skills and knowledge by trying new things and develop a stronger sense of confidence. Finally, taking risks can pay off in a big way, both professionally and personally. Stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to new opportunities and experiences you would never have otherwise. Of course, it's essential to be smart about your risks. Blindly leaping into dangerous or uncertain situations is not advisable. But if you're strategic about the risks you take and are willing to embrace the discomfort that comes with them, you'll likely find yourself on the path to progress and success. Five ways to take more risks in your professional life: 1. Seek out new challenges -don't be afraid to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Challenging yourself with new tasks and projects can help you grow and develop professionally. 2. Be open to change - change is a necessary part of progress. If you're not willing to take risks and embrace change, you'll likely find yourself stuck in the same place for a long time. 3. Take calculated risks -not all risks are created equal. It's important to weigh the potential rewards against the possible downside before taking a leap. But in general, taking more risks can lead to greater success. 4. Learn from your mistakes - mistakes are inevitable. But they can also be a valuable learning opportunity. Use your mistakes as a chance to grow and improve professionally. 5. Embrace discomfort -risk-taking often comes with a certain amount of discomfort. But if you're willing to embrace the discomfort, you'll likely find it easier to take risks and progress in your career. Keep moving forward, and remember, the next miracle is right around the corner!
Liz Truss is one of the most failure-prone ministers in recent memory. A so-called
conservative, she has presided over a series of policy failures, from the disastrous
rollout of universal credit to the botched implementation of prison reforms.
But her greatest failure has been her utter inability to stand up for British farmers
and food producers. In the face of Brexit uncertainty and plunging farm incomes, she
has failed to provide any leadership or support.
Instead, she has shown herself as a fair-weather politician, siding with the powerful
vested interests driving down farm incomes. Her lack of moral fibre and failure to
stand up for British farmers is breath-taking. It is time for her to go.

It's no secret that high street banking is in decline. In the last few years, we've seen
zero interest rates, a decline in branch numbers, and fewer and fewer guarantees
from banks. This has led to a decline in customer confidence, and many are now
turning to alternative options such as online banking or peer-to-peer lending.
So, what does the future hold for high street banking? It's hard to say for sure, but it
seems unlikely that things will improve soon. With interest rates remaining at
historic lows, and fewer people willing to take on the risks associated with traditional
banking, it's likely that we'll see a further decline in the coming years.
This is bad news for bank employees and for the high street. But it's also an
opportunity for alternative providers to step in and fill the void. So, if you're fed up
with your current bank, now might be the time to start looking for something
different.
Several alternatives to high st banking include online banking, peer-to-peer lending,
and credit unions. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, so it's worth
researching to find the option that best suits your needs.
Online banking is a convenient way to manage your finances from anywhere in the
world. However, it's essential to be aware of the risks associated with online
banking, such as cyber crime and identity theft.
Peer-to-peer lending is a relatively new way to borrow money, which cuts out the
middleman (i.e., the bank). It can be cheaper and more flexible than traditional
borrowing, but it's essential to understand the risks involved before signing up.
Credit unions are a good alternative for those who want to avoid big banks. They're
non-profit organizations, which means they're run for the benefit of their members,
not shareholders. However, credit unions can be harder to access than banks, and
they often have fewer branches and ATMs.
So, there you have it: the end of high street banking. It's an uncertain time for bank
employees and customers, but there are alternatives if you're willing to look for
them. Do your research and choose the option that best suits your needs.
The cashless society is upon us. Traditional banking is threatened as consumers move away
from cash and cheques in favour of digital payments.
This shift has been driven by the rise of mobile commerce, with customers using their
smartphones to make online and in-store purchases. Financial marketers have also played a
role, using targeted advertising and promotions to lure customers away from traditional
banks.
The result is that high street banks are struggling to keep up. They are forced to close
branches and cut jobs as they lose market share to digital challengers.
It's not all doom and gloom for traditional banks, however. They still have a large customer
base and many years of experience in the financial sector. But they need to adapt to the
new reality if they want to survive.
How often do you visit a high street bank?
Should your employer be contributing to your energy bill? With the cost-of-living crisis putting pressure on workers incomes, more and more people are looking for ways to save money. One way to do this is to work from home instead of commuting to an office. While working from home may seem like it would be more expensive, in many ways, it can be cheaper than commuting. You don't have to pay for gas or public transportation. You also have more control over your food budget since you can cook at home instead of eating out. Of course, some costs are associated with working from home, such as a higher internet bill. But overall, it is often cheaper to work from home than to commute to an office. So, working from home is an excellent option if you're looking to save money. The price of takeaway food seems to have become more expensive, and with the current pandemic, it can be risky to eat out often. If you cook at home, not only will you save money, but you'll also know precisely what ingredients are in your food. You can avoid unhealthy additives and save money by cooking at home. Let's not forget how much time you spend in stations waiting for transport. The big question is? Do you think your employer should contribute to your energy bill? And if yes, how much?
As the world increasingly moves towards remote work, employers are turning to
surveillance tools to monitor their employee; output. While some argue that this is
necessary to ensure productivity, others contend it violates workers privacy rights.
One of the most controversial surveillance tools is productivity monitoring software. This
software tracks workers computer usage and reports back to employers on their activity.
Employers can then see which workers are spending more time on productive tasks and
which ones are slacking off.
Not everyone is comfortable with this level of surveillance, however. Some workers feel
their privacy is violated when their employer can see everything they're doing on their
computer. Additionally, there are concerns that this type of surveillance could lead to a
workplace culture of fear and mistrust.
Another tool employers use to monitor their workers is mouse jiggling software. This
software detects when a mouse is inactive for a certain period and then sends a notification
to the employer. This allows employers to see which workers are taking too many breaks or
spending too much time away from their desks.
Again, not everyone is comfortable with this level of surveillance. Some workers feel that it
is intrusive and unnecessary. Additionally, there are concerns that this type of surveillance
could lead to a workplace culture of fear and mistrust.
So, what do you think? Is surveillance necessary to ensure productivity, or is it an intrusion
on workers privacy rights? Let us know in the comments below.

In the business world, strong branding is essential to success. And a big part of solid
branding is effective communication.
Leadership involves setting the tone for an entire organization. It's about convincing people
to buy into your vision and follow your lead. And that requires strong communication skills.
If you're not a positive communicator, it will be very difficult to build a successful brand or
be an effective leader. People will simply tune you out.
But if you are a positive communicator, you'll have a much better chance of success. You'll
be able to connect with people and get them on board with your vision.
So, to be successful, focus on being a positive communicator. It's one of the most important
skills you can have.
It's no secret that happiness is the key to a good life. But what does happiness mean? And
how can you achieve it? What makes people happy? That's a question that scientists,
philosophers, and regular people have been asking for centuries. And while there are many
different answers, there are some common themes. Here are a few things that can help you
find happiness:
Be grateful for what you have.
Spend time with loved ones and close friends.
Do things you enjoy.
Help others.
Live in the present moment.
Of course, there isn't a single formula for happiness. What works for one person might not
work for another. But these are some excellent starting points if you want to be happier. So

There is no denying it. Procrastination is a tough habit to break. But the good news is that
you can beat procrastination using a step-by-step system.
The first step is to understand why you procrastinate. It's important to know that
procrastination isn't always about laziness. In many cases, it's about fear. Fear of failure,
fear of the unknown, or even plain old anxiety can all lead to procrastination.
The next step is to start reasoning about your fears. Ask yourself the worst thing that could
happen if you tried and failed at whatever it is you're procrastinating on. The answer is
usually much less scary than the initial fear.
The third step is to take action. This can be difficult, but it's important to remember that
procrastination is a choice. You can choose to sit around and do nothing, or you can choose
to take action and make things happen.
Procrastination doesn't have to rule your life. You can beat it and get back on track with a
little effort. Just remember to take things one step at a time. And if you slip up, don't beat
yourself up about it. Just get back on the horse and try again. You'll get there eventually.
So, I wanted to speak on something slightly different today. It’s hard for this time of year to
pass without thinking about the massive loss to life and change in society. It was the
darkest days I can remember and sent shockwaves through the world.
I could share with you where I was, but it would pale compared to yours. Like many of us I
had a feeling of helplessness for what was unfolding on the other side of the planet.
But I did promise myself to pay my respects if I ever got to NYC and many years later, I sat in
the 1 st Precinct talking to an officer who had lost friends and colleagues during the terror
attack.
During what was the worst of times, the death, the destruction, and loss of humanity he
found comfort in goodness and generosity of people. Even in the toughest times people
were putting themselves before others and making the ultimate sacrifice.
Even it’s only for today, embrace the good, the light and the positivity that lies in all of us.
What am I proud of? What is my gift or input to the world
Who needs to be acknowledged
How can I help someone else today
What are the three key tasks I need to complete today
What might I need help with, and who will I ask
What will a perfect day look like
What do I need to do to make that a reality
Can I improve my performance
How will I measure it
How would I like to describe my performance today
If you go through these steps, you will have three decisive wins.
An enormous sense of well being
A productive day
A sense of completion
Many people try making journaling bigger than it is or don't understand it.

Either way, you're right.
Give yourself permission to succeed to be brave. Give yourself the courage to move forward and risk it.
What do you think you're risking? Your comfort zone
I get it. Staying in the Shadows can be comfy and safe.
Nobody will challenge you if you don't stick your head above the parapet.
It's been bred into us
But take a moment and ask yourself. What am I good at? What's your talent, your passion
Where will you be in three months or three years if you don't give yourself permission to engage in that direction?
Will it be painful? Yes. Could you fail? Yes.
But you will learn that you are stronger than you thought. What if it all works out better than you can imagine?
Even if you fail. You will still win.
You will be better at

Act your age says who, Don't do that says who
What risk are you going to take today?
We're all conditioned to behave a certain way. Why? You're a superhero.
Choose your truth. Your identity. Develop your compass and live without apology
I mean, don't be a weapon but be truthful, authentic and accessible.
Nothing is guaranteed. I mean, I know what I want to be doing 12 months from now but holy Fuck, who knows what's going to happen between now and then? Right? Who knows, we live in one of the most unstable and turbulent times of the last 60 years.
Take some risks, and tell people to go away.
Would you rather live by your own decisions that you have made or hope that things don't change? Remember, not making a decision is still making a decision.
Let's stretch ourselves by expressing how we feel. Let's be bolder, kinder, and be vulnerable.
I know it's a rant, but someone needs to hear it.
What positive risks are you going to take?

Do you want me to make you smile?
Sorry about these abrupt starts, but I find it funny, and I need to hook you in the first 30 seconds.
We are talking about happiness.
Lambos, gold watches and yachts are all perfect.
I applaud your success. However, they don't bring me happiness.
Let me share with you my philosophy for a happy life.
Sincerely acknowledge a service worker and engage them in a meaningful conversation.
Practice gratitude
It's the simplest thing to do and lets you revisit or re-acknowledge how lucky you are
People would think they had won the lottery.
I used to live a life of poverty, and I like to remind myself how great my life is because we can forget or start taking things for granted. Take stock of everything we have.
I have a busy mind, and the part that helps me feel truly alive is always trying to create something different or moving towards a goal or a project.
One of the main ways I like to progress is by learning. But, unfortunately, I spent so much of my young life being force-fed shitty education from piss poor teachers. Some of them were great.
Educating yourself on your own terms for your own purpose is incredible.
Never stop learning
There is a feeling in all of us that you need to dial into. The more often, the more powerful it will become. I'm not talking about Star Wars The Force.
You don't have to run about declaring your undying love like you are in a Shakespeare play. Be brave and be honest with your feelings. You will find it easier to navigate your way through life and will also have more prosperous relationships.

I look amazing in suits, but I don't enjoy wearing them.
If you sit down, you get creases in your trousers, which look wrinkled.
If you sit down with your jacket, you crease the bunker lid, you know the bit at your bum. If you put it over your chair, you collapse the lapels.
Meanwhile, you must wear a shirt and tie. So then, as if it's not uncomfortable enough to wrap the fabric around your Adam's apple, you now have to tie a knot around another piece of cloth.
Jesus Christ.
The only remarkable thing about wearing a suit is that you get to take it off.
It's the same with the work you're doing. If you are in a job you hate or with a team of dickheads the only release in your life will be finishing work, and considering you spend the majority of your day, your week your years on the planet, you need to find something you like more than you hate it.
Spending too much of your life on something you hate is dangerous. It will creep into your personality and spoil you, but not in a Marks and Spencer's Toffee Pudding way.
It's one of the reasons why people can become so jaded, bitter, angry, and pessimistic.
Find something that you love or at the least enjoy. Then, you will be able to invest more of yourself, Your passion, your enthusiasm your intellect.
That will have a more significant impact on your financial and emotional health.
You might not know what it is, but I implore you.
Start thinking about what it is you love.
Do you want to reflect on your career and speak about the privilege, creation and impact or tell people it was just a job?

But no fucker is talking about the good
I get it negativity sells papers. We're all being pulled over to the dark side. The daily diet of pessimism is destructive.
But what about the good shit?
The happy content? The news that makes you smile makes you laugh.
We need to put that input back into our lives because the media isn't. We are getting a new politician in the UK maybe, just maybe, the fix the country.

Self-realisation and gratitude are two of the most important values that you can adopt in your life if you want to be happy and healthy. When you have confidence in yourself and believe in your value, it leads to a more positive outlook on life. Additionally, being grateful for what you have instead of constantly striving for more helps you to appreciate the good moments in your life instead of getting bogged down by negativity. Ultimately, these two values can significantly impact your overall happiness and well-being.
Here are the five best ways to practice self-realisation and gratitude in your everyday life:
Believe in yourself – This is probably the most important thing you can do for yourself. When you believe in your value and worth, it allows you to approach life with confidence. This confidence then leads to a more positive outlook on life, which can profoundly impact your happiness. Additionally, believing in yourself gives you the strength to overcome obstacles and challenges.
Be grateful for what you have – It’s easy to get caught up in a cycle of constantly wanting more. However, this can lead to unhappiness. Instead, focus on being grateful for what you already have. Appreciate the good things in your life and be thankful for them. This will help you to feel more positive and happier overall.
Live in the present moment – One of the best things you can do for yourself is to live in the present moment. Don’t dwell on the past or worry about the future. Instead, focus on the here and now. This will help you to appreciate life more and feel happier overall.
Be kind to yourself – It’s essential to be kind to yourself if you want to be happy and healthy. Treat yourself with compassion and understanding and forgive yourself when you make mistakes. This will help you to feel better about yourself and lead a more positive life.
Help others – When you help others, it benefits them and you. When you positively impact someone else’s life, it helps you to feel good about yourself. Additionally, helping others can also lead to lasting friendships and relationships. Ultimately, this can significantly improve your happiness and well-being.

In our fast-paced, constantly connected world, it's easy to forget what confidence really looks like. We're bombarded with images and messages that tell us we need to be thinner, prettier, more intelligent, richer...the list goes on. It's no wonder that so many of us struggle with confidence issues!
But confidence isn't about achieving some arbitrary standard of perfection. It's about knowing your own value and having the belief in yourself to stand by it - even when facing a crisis in confidence.
Here are four tips to help you boost your confidence:
Remember that confidence is an inside job. You don't need anyone's approval to feel confident - just believe in yourself and trust your own instincts.
Be willing to take risks. Confidence comes from stretching yourself and embracing new challenges. So don't be afraid to put yourself out there - you might just surprise yourself with what you're capable of.
Don't compare yourself to others. We all have unique gifts and talents, so comparing yourself to others is a sure-fire way to feel lousy about yourself. Focus on being the best YOU that you can be and let everyone else worry about themselves.
When you remember these tips, confidence will come more easily - even in the most challenging times!

Do you want to be coached, or do you just want the results?
Coaching is big business and can get significant results, but do clients and coachees know what they need to bring to the relationship? The coaching market is expected to reach £20 billion by 2022, with a 6.7% average yearly growth from 2019 to 2022. PWC claim that it's the second fastest growing sector in the world So if you are seeking the services of a coach, what should you be bringing to the table?
Remember, you're not just purchasing a product. You are developing a relationship too.
Here are the top seven qualities that a coach is looking for
Commitment - you need to know how much time and energy you have to develop.
Willingness to learn - do you want to increase your understanding and strengthen your business? You will have to learn some new techniques study and learn
Trust - You must trust your coach. You may have given them your time and money, but can you trust them? It's all very well to have a strong belief in yourself or even challenge them, but you need to trust that the coach knows more or better than you; otherwise, why are you working with him?
Vulnerability - If you need help, ask for it. The ego can prevent people from admitting that they don't know something or can grasp a process, but if you don't understand why or how to do it, how can you implement it?
Consistency and Patience - Do you think you can move the needle in a moment, can you fill up a fuel tank in the blink of an eye, or fill a bath in 60 seconds? Of course not. We see tangible results when we commit to changing understanding and producing work every day.
Resilience - becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable. Sometimes trying anything new will feel strange, but it will pass. You might also provide receive praise. However, some people find that uncomfortable too.
Courage and confidence -Don't wait for something to be perfect. People don't want to share because they want the product or service to be excellent. If it's wrong, their ego finds it hard to take, and they may have to change, but hey, it's easier to build on the good and improve it, so be confident about yourself, your abilities and your workout.
It can be challenging, rewarding, enlightening and empowering in a few moments, but as with any process, the more you commit and invest, the more you will get out of it. If you're not coachable, you might not get the result you're looking for
What qualities should a client or coaches bring to the relationship?
What would you rather do? Go to a friend's funeral and speak kind words about their character. or Listen to their problems and be there to support them through a tough time. I've got news for you. Not enough of us are choosing the second option. We are losing men at an alarming rate every single day. This is not a male problem. This is everyone's problem. We can't go back and save the one we lost but we can help those that are still here.
So it's 5:22 on a Monday night, and I have had a challenging day. (Haven't we all) I am faced with two options.
One go to the cinema and watch Jurassic park or publish a post on LinkedIn.
No popcorn for me tonight.
I have given myself the challenge of writing a post every day for ninety days. So far, so good. Not missed a day yet, and if anything, the process is becoming easier.
Doing just a smallish piece of work daily makes the process easier, faster and fun.
I feel more confident, and maybe the articles are easier and more enjoyable to read.
I know I'm further ahead of my contemporaries, and at the end of the 90 days, they would find it challenging to accumulate skill and experience.
What is the one skill or practice that you undertake every day?
Routines are one of the most important factors to build into your professional and personal life.
Without them, we are like kites in a storm. We are pulled in every direction and at the mercy of factors out with our control.
The reality is that we are all faced with days where something could go wrong
The train is delayed
God, forbid you lose or break your computer (where is that coffee cup sitting)
You may have some family challenges
Or today, you just can't be bothered, or today, you can't be bothered.
It happens to everyone captains of industry, world leader and you.
It can happen more often than we think. Are you monitoring your performance?
I like to start my day off with morning rituals. Some of them are big tasks, journaling takes about 18 minutes, brain dump takes about 9 minutes, reading is always supposed to be ten, and finally, meditation takes another 10 minutes. I will sneak in some brain training games if the diary allows it.
These non-negotiables set the tone for the rest of the working day, it's my catalyst for the day, and I know what my day will look like if I don't. Messy and unproductive.
Next, I have my daily housekeeping tasks that need to be performed.
Posting email management
client relationships
course creation
internal communications
writing up notes
brain dump
By ordering these tasks, I can control the amount of mental and emotional effort employed to get results.
So the next time you feel like you can't be bothered and want to go home or phone it in. Think to yourself. How can I make my day easier and more effective?
Which routines or practices do you use to get the most out of your day?
What is the story you're telling yourself? Life is filled with challenges to overcome, and how we frame them will impact how we deal with them. We will all face challenges in life, but how will we frame them? When it comes to NLP, framing is key. Your content can be easily misinterpreted or lost in translation without the proper frame. That's why it's important to be aware of the different ways you can frame your content in order to ensure that your message is communicated effectively. One way to frame your content is through the use of keywords and key phrases. Using these throughout your content can help ensure that your readers understand the main points you're trying to communicate. Another way to frame your content is through the use of visuals. By incorporating images or other visual elements into your content, you can help to make it more engaging and easier to understand. No matter how you choose to frame your content, it's important to keep in mind that the goal is to ensure that your readers understand and can relate to what you're trying to say. With this in mind, take some time to consider how you can best frame your content for maximum effect. 1. Use keywords and key phrases to help communicate your message effectively. 2. Incorporate visuals into your content to make it more engaging and easier to understand. 3. Use analogies or metaphors to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy for your readers to grasp. 4. Make use of storytelling techniques to capture your reader's attention and hold their interest. 5. Be clear, concise, and direct in your communication to ensure that your message is communicated effectively. Framing your content in a positive light will lead to a more positive frame of mind for both you and your reader. When you focus on the positive aspects of a situation, it becomes easier to see the silver lining in every cloud. Additionally, using positive language can help shift your reader's perspective from a negative one to a more positive one. Some tips for writing with a positive frame: 1. Use affirmative statements rather than negative ones. 2. Use words like "hope," "wish," and "aspire" to express positive sentiments. 3. Use phrases like "I'm grateful for..." or "I'm blessed with..." to focus on the positive aspects of your life. 4. Write about things that make you happy or that you're looking forward to in the future. 5. Focus on people's good qualities rather than their negative traits. By taking the time to frame your content in a positive light, you can help to create a more positive outlook for both yourself and your reader. When you focus on the good, it becomes easier to see. Have a great, good, average, sh*t, disastrous day Do you use framing techniques?
Video calls have been the backbone and foundation of the last two years, and it would seem that people still can't get the basics right.
Why?
Is it because people can't be bothered, did we lose some form of professional integrity or do people not know how to get the most out of a platform that won't go away?
If you think you need to level up, here are the best ways to show up
Say what - Poor quality audio is one of the main reasons people avoid video calls. You can't be an effective communicator if people can't hear you. Invest in a shotgun microphone and a great set of headphones. Avoid rooms with glass walls, open windows and background noise.
Frame yourself for success - I spend half my working day on Zoom calls and am always amazed by how people frame themselves. I've seen them all, the burglar, the ring doorbell, the 15% and my favourite, the mystery caller. If you are using the camera on your laptop, think about raising the height of your camera because if you don't, it looks unprofessional. If you would like an example of great framing, just turn on any news programme and look at the newsreader.
Look at the birdy - What kind of camera are you using? My preferred method is plugging a DSLR into my laptop. It looks better. The camera on my laptop is 10 years old. You can buy an economically priced tripod and the lead to connect it and use free software. You can't be taken seriously as a professional.
Backdrop - At this stage, it's simple stuff, but it needs worth mentioning. If you're calling from home, don't start the call in the living room with a cluttered bookcase and ceiling showing while telling the caller that you need to go through to another room.
Internet - do not start the call while downloading an HD version of the Godfather trilogy. If you can't organise a zoom call, how do you think you can demonstrate value?
You never get a second chance for a first impression. So make it count.

You are in charge of your life so make it a priority to be happy. If you're not enjoying your life then make some changes and do something about it.
Life is too short to be anything but happy, so make it a priority starting from today!
"The most important thing is to enjoy your life"
Nobody else is going to live your life for you so make sure that it's a life that you want to live. You are the only one who knows what makes you happy so make sure that you are doing things that make you happy. Don't let anyone else control your life, you are in charge!
If you don't believe in the impossible then you'll never achieve it.
So whatever your dreams and goals are, believe in them and yourself and you'll be surprised at what you can achieve.
"The impossible is often the untried." – Jim Goodwin
So don't be afraid to try new things and go When you start believing in the impossible, anything becomes possible. So whatever dream Don't be afraid
You can have all the motivation in the world but if you don't take action towards your goals then nothing will happen.
So get out there and make things happen, don't wait for someone else to do it for you. You are in control of your life so take charge and make it happen!
Don't be afraid to aim high and go after your dreams, if you don't believe in yourself then who will? You are capable of anything you set your mind to so never give up on yourself.
"The sky is not the limit. There are infinite possibilities out there and you can achieve anything you set your mind to." – Unknown
So whatever it is you want to achieve in life, go out there and get it! don't let anyone or anything stand in your way.
Your self-limiting beliefs are just that, they are beliefs nothing more. If you don't believe in something then it won't happen, if you do believe in something then there's a very high chance it will become your reality. You create your own reality through your thoughts and actions so make sure they are positive!
Your past does not have to determine your future, you can be anything that you want to be. You are not limited by your limitations, instead you should view them as challenges which makes the victory even sweeter when you do achieve what you set out to do.
"The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - it's all that matters." – Dalai Lama
So if you're not enjoying your life, make some changes and do something about it. Life is too short to be anything but happy, so make it a priority starting from today!
Sometimes we can forget what an amazing gift we are to the world, you are unique than their is no one like you. You have something special to offer the world and it goes way past perspective, you have an energy an opinion which nobody else has and that's invaluable and immeasurable.
If I gave you a task to achieve nobody would do it the same as you, they may come up with a similar outcome but the process and steps they took to get there would be entirely different. That's what makes you so special, there is nobody like you!
