Hi guys! I don’t have a catchy description to share. I am just here to tell you that it’s been a rough couple months and I’m just exhausted. I am only here to share my thoughts on productivity and where I’m at with that. Love you all.
Shalom! :)
What's your pick? Would you rather have a friend that's good at emotional regulation or you'd rather walk alongside them in that journey? Are you quick to cut off friends or you'd rather not confront conflict? Would you rather be with an insecure man or an angry man who communicates their needs by shouting?
Khetsi and I look through how interpersonal skills play a huge part in the lives of toddlers, teenagers and young adults. We look at this through our own experiences and through the lenses of educators. We discuss the idea of receiving a NO from someone and how we've processed the word NO growing up. I tried to get khets to join me with a cup of chai tea but she settled for milk and I rocked with that.
I got to sit down with Pris and we discussed the positives of being a TCK and how to navigate life in unfamiliarity.
I sat down with a group of male friends who were candid about how male vulnerability is received. There were giggles, big laughs, jokes and a lot of teachable moments. Grab your favorite snack or beverage and join us.
Need another Pick me up?! Let's talk hair. For some, this conversation can be old and tired. and some might be thinking "is hair even that big of a deal?" my guest Patricia who owns her own salon has more insight on hair and we sat down over Kenyan Chai tea to talk about the hair experience and science aspect of it.
If you are up for a good pick me up. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or a cold beverage and sit with Pris and I. we are tackling the term "where do you come from" and a lot more. #TCK #Podcasting #WhereAreYouFrom #culture
