This is an episode I've been looking forward to recording for a while, and it's the first one I've done for about six weeks. Aaron is great for motivation and inspiration, so this is well worth a listen. I'm planning a goal setting and journaling workshop in the near future so keep an eye on my social media (links below) for details. I decided in this episod  to rehash my video about imposter syndrome and explain my seven-step-guide to overcoming it. This is a topic I've talked about before, and it's something which has showed up for me a lot in the past, especially when starting this podcast. I've worked on navigating myself and I've helped clients overcome it too. Imposter syndrome usually shows up for us when starting a new challenge or moving outside our comfort zone, and can leave us feeling unqualified or unworthy of the opportunities presented to us.

In this episode I chat to Kayleigh Payne, an activist for sexual education and healthcare. Kayleigh bravely speaks about her experience of sexual assault and we also chat about the need for change in education and healthcare in Ireland. Public and well known cases such as the Belfast rape trial and, more recently the Harriet Robson case, also come up, as well as Repeal the 8th.
It's important to consider that you may find the topic(s) raised here upsetting or triggering, so keep that in mind. I consider this episode a unique one in the sense that it's a change from the previous two discussions with guests around mindset, but it is a no less important subject and can be linked back to mental health education. I felt it was important as a male to give someone like Kayleigh a platform to share her thoughts and experiences, especially when, at the time of recording, Harriet Robson had just been through an awful experience that week.
