Have you ever felt a longing for connection, but always experienced disconnection instead? We need to understand where our true connection begins.

In this podcast I will be talking about being connected to the true vine. My Pastor, (Robert Woodard-Compton Memorial C.O.G.I.C-), shared a really enlightening message on this topic. The topic was Connected to Success. (linked in bottom of page).

He basically taught on John 15: 1-8. We are to connect ourselves to the TRUE VINE. No other connection will work or even matter. I'm expounding a little of what I received from this message. I pray that you will receive help as well as hope. If you are feeling disconnected in any way, know that there is still time for you to connect yourself to the true power source, which is our Father in Heaven. No other source will sustain you with the power to have everything you need to be successful in this life's journey.

I'm sharing with you this morning some of the insights I took away from Proverbs chapter 4. First, we will look at Proverbs 4:6-7 and discuss the topic of wisdom.Secondly, we will channel in on verse 18 on how we can be in the darkest of situations in our lives, but God promises us if we seek him, and trust him, our light will shine brighter and brighter. Thirdly, we will follow up with verse 23, when the scripture is instructing us to always guard our hearts. This is really important because out of the heart flows life. So we must guard what we hear, see, and speak constantly because the enemy is always trying to throw negative thoughts, resentment, bitterness, and pride, just to name a few. So we must always stay on alert.I pray that you will be blessed by this message. Take some time to read and meditate over this chapter. Pray that the Holy Spirit will enlighten you in the areas that's most beneficial to you.God bless you all!Much love ❤️ Martha

We constantly are facing different things in our every day lives that can steal our peace. The word of God teaches us in the book of James 3, that would shouldn't harbor bitterness, envy or selfish ambition in our heart. This type of wisdom does not come from the heaven but it is earthly.

We should learn how to live peaceful lives, always protecting our peace and our space. We are here on earth to 'do good'. There was once a time when we were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived with envy, hatred, and being hated. But praise be to God we are no longer that way. (Titus 3).

This podcast is to share an experience I faced, that I allowed to come into my space and kill my peace. I had to take back what was trying to be taken from me, by immediately recognizing what was actually taking place.

Today, I want you to evaluate your life and your surroundings. What are who are you allowing to control your peace? What steps will you take from this time forward to gain back the peace and joy that God has already provided for you to have? Listen closely and please share. I pray that your peace be restored today, and that you are set free from anything that is not from the Father in heaven.

Amen

Be blessed

Matthew 11:12 tells us that the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violence takes it by force. Each of us faces different spiritual battles each day. Financial, Relational, Illness, just to name a few. Sometimes, we have to get into our secret place, where we can sit still, pray, and listen to God guidance as he instructs in the way to go. At times, we need to stay in our secret place until we receive what we are asking for. Some reference scriptures we can follow and to see how others took by force what they wanted were as follows:Jacob- (Genesis 32:26)Woman with the issue of blood ( Mark 5)Hezekiah ( 2 Kings 20:3).It's time for us to fight back family. Take back what belongs you.Join in with me as we discover how to ' take it by force'.Much love

Why is it so important to study the word of God? I'm sharing with you 7 steps taught by Pastors Kellie Aqueze and husband, from Warrior Nation. This truly touched my heart and also showed me that I am on the correct path in following through with God's assignment on my life. God has a way of letting you know and understand who He is and who you can become as you get into a deeper, personal relationship with Him. We do that by understanding who God truly is. I actually got this title from a patient I was registering this morning. We started sharing the goodness of God with each other, and he then stated how beautiful this day was despite the heavy rain, regardless of his surgery, despite what's going on around us. He has such an upbeat attitude. He also stated how nothing happens by coincidence. That the family of God will meet one another and no each other( Ephesians 2:19-22). I'm so grateful to God for all He is in my life. So remember, there while going through the storm, continue to stay focus, keep moving forward, and never loose hope. When you reach your destination, the sun will shine. There will be a rainbow in the clouds. The Anchor (God), will Hold Despite the Storm. Enjoy!

Being faithful means being loyal, true, dependable, and trustworthy. A faithful person keeps his or her word. They are the people that you can count on to get the job done. God wants us to be faithful to him. He wants us to adhere to what the word says. He wants us to be examples in this dark world.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:21, that those who would be faithful over little would be made ruler over much. So by us being faithful to God in all that we do, we are sure to win because God will promote us to greater levels through our obedience.

Today let us evaluate ourselves. Where do I need to make changes regarding my faithfulness toward God? How do I start?

Start today.

CONFESSIONS OF FAVOR

In the name of Jesus, I am the righteousness of God. Therefore, I am entitled to covenant favor. The favor of God is among the righteous. Therefore, it surrounds me everywhere I go and in everything I do. I expect the favor of God to be in full manifestation in my life. Never again will I be without the favor of God. It rests richly upon me. I am a part of the generation that is experiencing God’s favor immeasurably, limitlessly, and surpassingly. Therefore, favor produces supernatural increase, promotion, restoration, honor, increase, assets, greater victories, recognition, prominence, preferential treatment, petitions granted, policies and rules changed, and battles won in which I do not have to fight. The favor of God is on me. Therefore, my life will never be the same. This is the year of God’s favor in my life. That is the favor of God. In Jesus name.

Amen

PRAYER TO HELP BENEFIT YOUR FAITH

DAY 2

Father God, I ask You to bring to my mind right now those forms of media and social media I ingest that You would like for me to consume less of. God, how much time daily with these things is healthy for me? (Wait and listen). Trade my morning desire for my devices for a daily devotional time with You. Help me emotionally to eliminate any fear, doubt, confusion, and agitation I experience because of media gluttony. Show me movie alternatives that will not clog my spirit and defile my faith. And give me the guts to say no to all the rest, no matter the inconveniences it brings. Keep my eyes from unclean things, whether online or in print, and bring purity to my thoughts. I allow Your holiness to invade my choices of music, and I give you full permission to convict me about any song on any playlist on any device that I own. Give me grace for this new media diet, Father. In Jesus name. Amen

Many times you have been speaking telling others about the things that God has given you to do but you haven't put forth the effort to make it happen. Or maybe you started but then stopped not knowing what the next step will be. What exactly is keeping you from moving forward? CONSISTENCY! On the real, we all are Consistent at one thing or another. Consistent in walking through our journey, or Consistent of making excuses. Either way, we are Consistent. So ask yourself, which way of Consistency can bring me to the place of power and breakthrough? We're do I stand in being more Consistent? I've shared with you a video message from Stephanie Ike- A Potter's House Church. The title, The Power of Consistency. This message blessed me so much. I pray it does the same for you. A good example of being a good servant of God is to meet a person where they are. Everyone's walk in life is different. Meeting a person where they are in their life's journey not only give them the reassurance that they are loved and and accepted for who they truly are. Question? Is meeting a person where they are, and accepting them where they are the same thing? Take note in how God not only meet us where we are, but He always accepts us as we are. To be more like Christ is to do replicate what he does. Jesus tells us to "Come." Come just as we are. To bring our burdens, shame, fears, doubts, sins and brokenness to him. Jesus welcomes us "right where we are." Scripture references: Matthew 11: 28-39; Isiah 54:4; Psalms 56:8; Psalm 34:4; Romans 5:8

Everyone may experience happiness in different ways. What would it take to make you happy? Better health? Money? Fame? Let's take a look at Solomon. He was known for being the King of Israel, who built the first Temple in Jerusalem. He was the son of David. He was at the height of his power during his reign. Solomon left an example for us on how he reflected on his life, and to pass his wisdom down to us.

  1. Solomon looked for happiness in Wisdom.

  2. Solomon looked for happiness through wine and pleasure.

  3. He looked for happiness through work.

  4. He looked for happiness through possessions.

Solomon was already rich. After searching for happiness through all these things, he came to the conclusion that, "this was meaningless and chasing after the wind." Solomon realized that his true happiness came only through the wisdom of God, personal relationship with God, and following the will of God for his life.

What does happiness mean to you? Have you, just as Solomon, tried different areas in life looking for happiness only to realize that there is more to be desired? Listen in. I would love to hear your comments!
