The first episode of the Hidden Voices podcast is here! This has been a long time in the making. I’m so so excited to be here to ask important questions, listen well to people’s stories, and engage with both the joys and sorrows of minority experience. my ultimate dream and vision is that many would feel seen and heard through this podcast. In this episode, I talk with my sister, Rebecca Bowen, about our experience growing up in a multiracial family, discuss the importance of celebrating black history, and walk through ways that we seek racial reconciliation in the spaces we exist in on an everyday basis.
