In the Philippines, one of the most talked persons is Mayor Alice Guo because the Senate is questioning her citizenship and true background. People are creating memes about her because of her statements which are not always consistent, As a person who chooses not to watch news programs, it is very rare to know current events in the Philippines. But since this is very trending in the social media, I cannot avoid to have a glimpse of the issue. It is like a very hit TV series where people are really talking about it anywhere. Anyways, I am trying a new style in art and want to try to do caricature. I hope I get this correctly.

Hello, everyone!
Welcome to another episode of christianyocte digital paintin! Today, I am painting a greenhaired woman. The reference is taken from Pinterest. The reason why I picked to paint this one is because of the unusual color of her hair and eye shadow. I would certainly turn my head if I come across with a woman with this hair. Anyway, I am really liking how the skin tone was done here. I can see obvious improvements in my work. If you have been following my art journey, you would certainly understand. I have now favorite brushes for the skin and ha.

Hello, everyone!
Welcome to another episode of christianyoctearts! Today, I want to show you another digital painting which I made again using procreate. I have been practicing doing my digital painting without the use of gridlines so please bear with me if you noticed unbalanced proportions.
I actually painted this portrait while my students were also doing activity on their seats. They were making a poster for the Nutrition Month so I can select a representative for their section to compete with the other representatives from other sections.
Anyways, going back to this digital painting, I fell in love with the reference as soon as I opened pinterest that day. The beautifully styled and colorful hair was the first to capture me. I would add the link here so you can also check it out. Link: https://pin.it/59ZhHxu
I want to call this painting "Candy" because of the colors of the hair which is very similar to that of a cotton candy. I am a sweet tooth, so that was basically the driving force that energized me to paint this.
Anyways, thank you for staying with me until this part. I hope you enjoyed the painting process here. And I wish that you will still join me and watch my next digital painting timelapse. My sweetest regards to everyone! I love ya!

Hello, everyone! Welcome to another quick episode of christianyocte digital arts. Today, I want to show you another digital stippling art!
I want to call this piece Mickey because the hair style of the girl is similar to ears of Mickey Mouse. As usual, I got the reference from Pinterest. I have saved and pinned so many references so I hope you will be with me all the way! Reference: https://pin.it/5l5Mete
Anyways, thank you so much and see you on my next one! Goodbye!

Hello, everyone!
Welcome to another episode of christianyocte digital arts! Today, I want to show you another digital painting I made using procreate. I got the reference from my pinterest.
Reference: https://pin.it/74H9eyu
By the way, I want to inform you that I am open for commissions. For something like this, you only need Five Hundred Pesos or Ten US dollars only. But for me to start the commission, you need to send your downpayment via gcash or bank transfer.
Anyways, this artwork is inspired by an artist I follow on instagram, I actually bought her procreate brushes in hopes that I can somehow make my artworks like hers. She really is very good in digital painting and I am inspired by her works.
I did not use grid this time so I feared that the painting would not be of good proportion. But, I really trusted myself that I can pull it off. And so far, I am impressed with my work!
The most challenging part of this digital painting is the eyes. I still have to improve painting the eyes, especially knowing which part of the eye should I begin to paint. I am always tempted to do the eyelashes but I think it should be done at the last part. But, still I am happy with my work.
Anyways, thank you so much for watching this painting process. I hope you enjoyed this one! Until next time! I love you all!

Hello, everyone!
Welcome to another episode of christian yuck tee arts! Today I want to make a digital stippling art! This is one of my favorite art style before. But it takes a lot of time. Imagine you are making a hundred or thousand of points instead of a line. That really takes time!
But I have to say that this time, with procreate, it is easier and faster. So, I believe this will be my go to art style if I want to create something but I just have a short time.
Reference: https://pin.it/MIRTHSV
For this digital stippling art I draw an Asian Girl that I saw in Pinterest. I like her eyes because I think it is the best of her features. So, I work it out a lot that it would look nice and good.
I wanted to add a background but, It did not looked good so I undid it. I also wanted to draw the hands but, I think I got it wrong so I just made it part of the whole gown.
Anyway, thank you for stopping by to my post! Have a beautiful day ahead! I love you all.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to another episode of christianyocte digital art! Today, I am painting a gecko but, I added some colors on it to give it another look compared to the reference. As usual, I got the reference from pinterest.
Reference: https://pin.it/82Nk7xF
First, I made a layer for the background. Then, the trunk of the tree where the gecko is. Then I started sketching the gecko.
I decided to draw a gecko today because I want to talk about it in this post. If I am not mistaken, a gecko called "Toko" in the Visayas. It is named as suck because of its sound... "Toko" "Toko"
I remember a childhood story about a TOKO. When I was a kid, our family shares a common restroom with my cousins, it was a separate structure from our houses.
This restroom is housed by this big eyed creature that I am very afraid of. There was always a time in the day that it would deliberately sound just like an alarm clock usually during 6 PM in the evening. And during those time, I would never go to the restroom.
My parents would tell me that it would never harm people if you do not harm them. That gave me courage to use the restroom during daytime.
But, there was this instance when I really need to go to the restroom, I went slowly inside, then suddenly it jumped and landed on my arm. I was so horrified that I ran outside the restroom. And from that moment, I had a fear of geckos and their likes.
Anyways, going back to the process of this painting... As much as I would like to make this realistic as I can, I could really copy the texture of the gecko's skin. It is very difficult to copy. I still have not reach that level... So, I just added here what I can do.
And, if you are not a professional artist, and you just do this thing for fun and as a hobby, you will certainly understand me. And that is totally fine!
At this point, I am already adding some details on the trunk of the tree. I want to have texture on my painting so I used a textured procreate brush. I also, added colors that are not in the reference so that I can give it a different feel compared to the reference.
So, that's all for this digital art painting process! I hope you find this process cute and pretty. Until next time pals, I love yahh...

Hello, everyone! Welcome to another christianyocte digital art. Today, I want to paint a woman that has very expressive face. It has been months since my last painting. I am just glad that I made another di
gital painting! I hope you like this process!
I started with painting the face with the color I picked directly from the reference. By the way, I got the reference from pinterest. After that, I sketched the features of the face such as the eyes, brows, nose and mouth. Then I worked on some details of the eyes and eventually the whole face.
I trusted the process that eventually this would work out. I added a darker colour from the right side to indicate the shaded part and lighter shades on the left side. I also use a lot of smudging here to blend the colors well. When I was satisfied with the skin, I worked on the hair by adding the strands and then blurring them. I was happier when I can see improvements. So, I got motivated to finish the whole painting. The last process was adding the freckles on her face. It was made easier because there is already a procreate brush to do that.
Anyways, thank you so much for watching my painting process! I hope you like this. Until my next one! I love you, all!

Hello, Art Lovers!
I want to show you today my digital painting of one of the main characters of Harry Potter - Ron Weasley. I decided to paint him this time because I have already painted or drawn the other two main characters, Harry and Hermoine. I decided to finally make one for a Weasley.
Actually, the whole family is kind of having a Harry Potter marathon now because of the long weekend because of the Holidays. I intended to make my nephews see Harry Potter instead of using their mobile phones so much. We have already watched the first and second movies. They want to watch actually but they cannot sustain until the end of the movie. Perhaps, their attention have been affected by the shorts and reels of youtube, instagram, and tiktok. That really annoys me.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the process! 😊

I cannot recall my last post on Digital Art. It seems like forever. This art has been in my Procreate app for quite a long time. Unfinished. Unattended. But, I decided to finish it now because I need to declutter to free up some space. My iPad only has a 32GB Capacity and it is now at 30GB storage. When I checked my storage, I found out that procreate eat up so much space. So, I worked on this drawing again.
It does not look very good artistically speaking but that is not my concern now. So, please bear with me. ☺️😭
I hope I can upload more constantly next time. Thank you so much. Enjoy!

Hello, everyone! I just want to share this fun game video I had with my wife days ago. I filmed it because it had been so long since we both played this and I am not sure if we will have another time to play this game in the future. I was maybe in Grade 5 or 6 when I last played this game. That's like more than 25 years ago for me, and 15 years ago for my wife. I apologize for the rawness of this video but I want it to be uploaded like this so I can exactly feel the moment when I go back to this video years later. I want this video to be on the blockchain forever that is why I am posting this one because this is such a fun and happy moments we had as husband and wife.
The game is called Jack Stone here in Cebu. I do not know how other parts of the country call this one, but I am sure many millenials know this game and maybe had played this game with flying colors. I am also not sure if this game is played in other countries outside the Philippines. I hope I can get answers from the comment section below. The game is very easy to play, here's how: First, the players have to decide who will be the one to start the game through a challenge which is to have the most stars/stones after flipping then catching the stones or stars using one hand. Grace and I skipped this process since we were just doing this for fun and leisure. The game is played by throwing the ball in the air and then picking the stone one by one and then successfully catching the ball. You can add a little challenge by agreeing that touching other stars on the process will make you lose the turn. Then after successfully getting all the stars, you should then proceed to getting the stars by twos, threes, and so on and so forth. After getting the stars successfully until 10, the player can proceed to another level which is more complicated than the first level. Any player can choose any strategy for this game.
When we played this, both Grace and I boasted that we were so good at playing this when we were kids. In the course of our game, I jokingly told my wife that I was a varsity player for this particular game. I also added that J was paid for playing Jack Stones before. Well, that is totally a lie.
We had so much fun in playing this game. I dominated the game 😆.
Anyways, do you also do this kind of stuff with you partner? Or is it just us? Let me know in the comments below! I think that would be all! Bye! Cheers!

Finally, we are already in the third quarter of the school year. I have waited this to come because I was not very confident of the previous TLE Exploratory Courses to my Grade 8 students. I am talking about Animal Production and Nail Care Services. Now that it is already Quarter 3, I am more confident of the lesson or topic because it is now Electrical Installation and Maintenance. This is one of my major subjects during college.
I know teachers like me would agree that you will really feel awkward if you are teaching a subject that isn't your major. Although, the two mentioned subjects are part of the TLE subject, I only majored Industrial Technology which only includes Technical Drafting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Electronics, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Automotive Servicing.
But since we are thought of being flexible and multi-disciplinary, we teach different subject in the school. I remember my first few years in DepEd where I was assigned to teach Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH, and Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. These are totally different learning areas, but I still did my best to teach my students. It was a burden.
Anyway, the video is about my students doing wire splices. The goal is for the students to utilize the use of basic electrical tools such as the pliers and at least make basic and common wire splices. I am not expecting a perfect wire splice because I know that they are still very young. However, I still get very good outputs from some of the groups. And that made me very happy.
I intentionally made this task a group activity so that they can divide the expenses to buy the materials (stranded and solid wires), divide the task of bringing the needed tools, and at least prepare and practice only one splice at home. I also told them to video their processes because I know I cannot see how they used the tools all at once since there are more than ten groups to facilitate. Prior to the activity proper, I reminded them the importance of safety and cleanliness. My exact words were, "Ang masamad, minus 50. Ug ang hugaw nga lugar, minus 100". I believe that that was very effective because nobody was wounded and no working area was dirty before, during, and after the activity. By the way, the students just squatted and performed the tasks in the classroom and the lobby because we do not have TLE laboratories. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this post. Cheers!

Hello, everyone!
Canduman National High School just had our In-Service Training for Teachers (INSET). It was a week-long of learning and fun.
We learned and re-learned about new teaching strategies that we can use to engage the students more in our lessons, we also learned about the child protection policy, we tackled about common issue, gaps, and problems of teachers and the learning process and identified solutions and action plans, we also learn how to make an action research which we can put inside our annual teacher's portfolio, and a lot more.
But for today, I want to show you video clips of the temperature check which I facilitated. The past temperature and attendance checks were very creative and well-thought of. There was Q and A about teh status of our heart, there was picture guessing, location guessing thru emojis, singing, and dancing. So, the challenge for me was to make and design a temperature check that was something different, unique and fun. So, I thought of collecting popular and iconic lines of Filipino Movies and Television Series and let the teachers give their own flavor of the lines. There were a lot who were very confident and so did really good on their performance, but there were also who were shy but still were able to do the task... But, overall, we really had a great time watching our talented co-teachers in their presentation. Indeed, teachers are very flexible, talented, and versatile in many aspects.
I hope you will enjoy watching these videos. Cheers!

Hello, everyone!
I just want to share this digital painting I finished a day ago. I was very happy when it was done because I saw a lot of improvements in this painting. One, I like how I worked on the skin. Although, it is not perfect, it is way way better than my orevious artworks. I also like the proportions I get, I think they are very close to what I wanted to see. So, in other words, I am really hitting my artistic targets on my works. I still need to work on a lot of things I know, but this is already a victory I must be proud of.
Anyway, I got the reference from pinterest. I will surely link it here, but for now as of writing, I find it so hard to copy and paste the link via #3speak. Do you experience it too? But, still I am thankful of this platform because it is like a youtube in the blockchain. The music is still from « Royaty Free Music: https://www.bensound.com ». They have a wide range of free music that can be used for as long as it is properly cited. You may check their website to find more music you can use for your videos.
I hope you like this artwork! See you on my next one! Cheers!

Hello, everyone!
I just want to share this Sinulog Presentation video of the teachers of Canduman National High School! Of course, I was one of the dancers! Therefore, I asked my wife to take the video. She never zoomed in and out the video so surely you cannot see me dancing! But, I was there because I want to honor the Child Jesus, Snr Sto. Nino!
Our school always celebrates our annual fiesta every January. I will have a separate detailed post about that! 😅 As if I get a huge following here! 😢😂 Anyways, I always prefer participating in activities like this... Dancing! I really like to dance even if some say I look awkward when I dance. Aside from dancing, I wanted to be included because this is one way of showing my gratitude to the child Jesus for all the blessings that He has given us for the past weeks. I really consider the pregnancy of my wife a great blessing. Others may think that you do not need to dance to pray, I cannot contest that because that is true! However, I do Sinulog, or we do Sinulog because we believe that praying + singing + dancing is more effective and pleasing to God. We believe that God sees the effort you put into the things you do.
Anyways, I hope you will enjoy the video! Let me know how you pray, do you pray and dance at the same time? How do you call that in your country/ religion? I am very excited to know. Cheers! .

Hello, Filipino Hivers!
I just want to share here in this community and in the blockchain our SDE (Same Day Edit) Video of our Wedding. This wedding will forever be one of the highlights of my life. I hope you will enjoy watching this via #threespeak!
Our wedding ceremony happened last April 30, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Basak, Mandaue City at 2:00 in the afternoon! It was a peachy-gray themed wedding, specifically chosen by Grace and I.
My suit and the gown of my wife was created and designed by my college classmate, Griffins M. Malazarte, the owner of GMO Collections. His botique is located near Banilad Flyover beside Julie's Bakeshop. He generously lent his gown and suit for us for free.
The gowns or the bridesmaids and maid of honor as well as the suits of the groomsmen and best man were designed by Raymond Cabahug. His botique is located in Liloan, Cebu City.
Our wedding coordinator was Maam Jovelyn S. Urot, the owner and general manager of JSU weddings and events. Our magical wedding package cost 230K PHP or 4600 USD good for 100 persons. It was all worth the price. We were very satisfied of their services from the prenup, to the church wedding to the wedding reception and to the littlest detail of the whole event and celebration.
Our wedding reception was at Maayo Hotel located in Mandaue City. Their ballroom can cater big events like weddings and parties. They serve very good food and has very approachable crew and staffs.
Our wedding videographer was still Kalidad Films who also videod our prenup. It is owned by the very professional videographer Derick Mou. You can contact him in his facebook page. All credits of this video goes to Kalidad Films.
Our wedding photographer was Michael Cinco. He took the place of Joshua Zozobrado because he has a a very important event to attend to that time. But, Michael Cinco was exceptionally good too. I will also share our wedding photos here soon.
So, if you know someone whose getting married in Cebu, do not hesitate to contact these experts in their field.

Hello, Hivers!
I hope you are all doing great in your undertakings, having fun with your family and friends, building stronger connections with your community and taking life with ease and gratitude!
Today, I want to share this digital fan art that I recently finished. It is a simple black and white illustration or painting on my old 6 generation iPad done on Procreate. I had fun doing this because it reminds me doing drawings or paintings on a black paper or canvas.
Maybe some of you have come across with "The Chosen". It is a series about the life of Jesus. What I really like about the series is that, it really shows Jesus as a human-being or it is not very spiritual. Of course, as a Christian and Catholic, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. But in this series, we can really see Jesus being tired, memorizing speech and other human thing.
Anyways, I really love this series, I have already watched all episodes of Season 1 and has already watched first few episodes in Season 2. I hope that the producers will get enough funding for this series because it is being distributed free for all. You can just download the application on your mobile devices and you are ready to watch this beautiful life story of Jesus together with Mary, his Disciples and a lot more. Get ready to be amazed and mesmerized by the individual characters depicted in this series.
If you watched this series, let me know! Tell me what are your favorite episodes or character.
