In these podcasts, I’ll be talking with other authors about everything from between the process of writing a story to how writing has changed them as a person. I’ll be mainly talking with new or upcoming writers like myself and will be providing little hints along the way about what book marketing strategies have worked for us. Don't forget to read Veronica Allen's Poem "Sky Full of Stars" below!
Last night, I could not remember the last thing you said. I only remembered drifting off into a calm sleep. Or so I thought…
My soul left my body last night—and requested an audience amongst the stars. Upon reached the sky, I called out for the sun.
But he was so groggy—he told me to go to bed, rest my mind. But how? Unwilling to let go of the sweet words I know that you gave me… I continued.
The desire peaking --what honey poured from your mouth into the comb of my mind. So, I flew to the moon—she was shining so beautifully.
Mesmerized—I almost forgot the important request I had of her. “Dear salient celestial being---what did my lover whisper in my ear before I drifted away?”
She smiled and said "my dear, that is the mystery of the stars now—and they are stubborn beings.”
So, I flew away to the stars and commanded their attention. I yelled at those globes of gas and demanded an answer. They regarded me, then moved along the cosmos—as if I were never there.
Grief gripped my soul. Dismayed I needed to know the last words he spoke. The voice—a lullaby—always rocking me so. But what it says, I could never know.
It encompasses my ears and bids me to sleep every night.
It is not fair to be possessed so---not having control over my body or emotions when he talks to me.
Like a storm, his voice is thunder to my ears—deafening and beautiful. It quells my sadness, insecurities and all the negative things of the day.
He takes over and looms over head…telling my rain to stay in my heart and eyes---not to waste them unless they are to create life.
The descension waned into the sunrise. Finally settling back into its earthly suit. Light surged through the windowpane, pulling at my eyes. Arising, I turned and investigated---there’s something in the distance.
His words materialized and danced around the room----like music notes off a scale. They filled my heart and mind---like incantations, I was bewitched. Your words are my home. My savior My air It was then that I finally realized that my reality surpassed my dreams.

As always, if you guys enjoy this video, don’t forget to like and subscribe.

In this episode, I’m honoured to be joined by Mark Van Stratum, an entrepreneur and influencer based in Europe. Mark has an amazing background and I encourage anyone who’s listening to this podcast to check out this YouTube video by Stories of Scale on Mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0O8wT... In this video, we'll be talking specifically about his 2nd novel Alpha Seed, Beta Need: A Love Story. A psychoanalyst, Doctor Nuno Sousa, described Mark's book this way: "This book may seem just another story about a guy who wants to pick up women at first look. However, I guess that analysis can happen as a defence mechanism against our own repressed desires and inferiority complex, which makes us unconsciously compete with the main character! The main character stood out for me because after the first impression of a "guy who has a lot of intercourse," you can see a sensible man fighting for his son, trying to have a decent life. However, throughout his journey of dating many women, he truly is interested in understanding women, how they think and how they feel. And he never lies! This book indeed makes you question many things about romantic relationships and what men and women want (even if that's not what they say!)” You can order Alpha Seed, Beta Need: A Love Story on Amazon today. Hania Jacobs is from Norway, Nadine Vanders is from The Netherlands, Kieran Majury is from Ireland and Shantel Brunton is from West Canada. So glad we were able to come together despite covid pressures in each of our countries. Their advice on writing and self-publishing was awesome!
Welcome to my fifth author interview with Daniel Munro! Daniel's debut, The Taste Beneath, is to be released in September 2021, which chronicles the journey of Ryan Field, a joint leader of a community surviving on the remains of a vineyard on the border of the Surrey hills. It is a post-apocalyptic novel, set in southern England. It has been five years since the global conflict known as The Fast War. When a new, unexpected threat reveals itself to this community, everyone learns just how depraved people can become. Ryan, left with no other alternative than to keep his family and friends alive, has to push himself down a rabbit hole and perform acts of horror that no human should ever witness.

Welcome to my fourth author interview with Kci R. Red! Kci is a young poet who lives in Florida, USA. Last year when he was infected with Covid-19 and experienced a near-death situation, Kci decided he was going to seriously pursue writing and get his ideas out into the world. Since then, he has been particularly active publishing poetry online through his social media. Make sure to check it out!
Welcome to my third author interview with Vanessa Romanov! Vanessa has published three books which combine poetry, short stories, and commentaries on the world around her. She enjoys mixing philosophy with literature and creating characters close to the people we’ve all met. Her work is honest and well brought out, focusing on deep-seeded concepts we grapple with each and every day. As of 2021, she is studying a Bachelor of Arts and a Major in Crime studies and Psychology and is in the process of publishing her next two books this year.
Welcome to my second author interview with A.J. Creamer! A.J.'s debut novel, A Decent Life: Stories of Time, The Broken and The Corrupt, was published in August 2020 during the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. It was remarkedly prophetic for the time. This novel is based in a world overcome by fear and tragedy, with the glimpse of a post-apocalyptic world on the horizon. The story is told from the perspective of a couple out to right the wrongs perpetrated in society. But besides the mayhem, there is powerful imagery and philosophical lessons, with many interpretations of them. This novel addresses many issues most of us ponder: right and wrong, good and evil, just and unjust. The sequel to this novel, A Decent Life: Chaotic Whispers, is being released in July of 2021 and the final book in the series, A Decent Life 3: Sinners and Saints, will be released in December 2021.
Welcome to my first author interview with Chaselyn Roderick! Her first novel, Activated, was released when she was only 16 years old and her second, 99 % down was released a month later. As of mid 2021, she’s finishing off her last year of high school and is in the process of publishing her third book. Whilst writing and studying, she also works at an Italian restaurant and has interests in cheerleading, dancing, welding, and of course, writing!
