Brad & Thad here giving our honest, live, reactions to the either Kdrama movies or series’ (or sometimes whatever we feel like watching).
We will make absolutely no sense with our banter but the vibes immaculate.
We are called the Bussin’ podcast because we always start of watching an episode eating something new.
So sit back, grab a snack, listen to the episode with us, and regret coming on the ride.
P.S : We never look back and listen to our podcast content or quality, once we finish recording we publish it immediately. Our reactions are 100% raw, live, and unprofessional.
Brad and Thad returning with Tale of The Nine Tailed episode 7: “The Trap of the Cycle of Death and Rebirth”. Things seem to be picking up in this episode, the plot is finally progressing and we’re finally getting a proper introduction to who the antagonist is. In this episode, Brad is eating a cream cheese fruit danish while Thad is eating a crème brûlée fruit tart. Stick with us to the end of the episode to find out which was better, the media or the munchies?
Welcome back, it’s Brad & Thad, and today we are watching episode 6 of Tale Of The Nine Tailed: ‘The Four Pillars of Destiny’. For this episode, Brad is eating a cheese danish while Thad is eating a spinach ricotta. For a quick recap, the episode begins with Gia and Yeon kissing on a bridge, and while it does start off with a bright beginning it quickly descends to a whirlwind of emotions for me and Brad. Tune in to find out why and stick till the end to find out which we preferred: the Media or Munchie’s? Hint: we got annoyed at Gia a lot this episode 🤡
Brad & Thad venture onto episode 5 of Tale of the Nine Tailed while enjoying a whole ass loaf a bread (technically we didn’t eat much of it cause we were full 🤩 but hey it was there). Episode 5 definitely saved us from our lows of the last episode, and admittedly,, Thad did almost cry in one scene 🫢. Tune in to discover what made this episode so much better than the last and stick till the end to find out which was better, the media or the munchies? (T.W: child abuse, sexual assault)
Brad & Thad continue Tale Of The Nine Tailed kdrama episode 4 while sharing a cheesecake, with strawberry and Nutella, ice cream 🍦🤩 This episode was…. certainly an episode, let’s just say that. Tune in and listen to the numerous opinions we share on this episode and if you stick to the end you’ll find out which one we preferred more: the media or munchies? (Spoiler: we change our minds midway through the episode 🤔)
Brad & Thad finally back with the second episode of Avatar The Last Airbender. For this episode we’re indulging in ‘honey butter potato chips’ (Thad: the salty and sweet kinda canceled each other out and made it taste like air imo). Normally we’d say to “Stick around till the end to discover which we liked better, the media or munchies?” BUT, we also have other relevant news we reveal at the end. So try to stick with us till the end of the reaction to find out what we have to say, and don’t get your hopes up ;)
Brad & Thad continue Tale Of The Nine Tailed kdrama episode 3 while eating an assortment of dessert breads (and strawberry cake for Brad). Hear us sip on our tea and coffee while we proceed to forget every characters names 🤡. Stick with us till the end (a challenge, ik) to find out which was better, the media or the munchies?
Brad & Thad continue Tale Of The Nine Tailed kdrama episode 2 while eating the remainder of our chips from our bonus episode and also finishing up our boba (Brad ordered a strawberry milk tea with popping boba and crème brûlée chunks, Thad ordered rose milk tea with popping boba - note to listeners: order popping boba at your own risk). Listen along to find out which was better, the Media or Munchies? (Also the drink in the cover photo is just Brads order)
Brad & Thad coming to you with a bonus episode (which was intended to be the comeback episode) watching the blind date show : Naked Attraction. I, Thad, discovered the existence of this show on a TikTok and let’s just say…. It’s definitely something. So for this episode we’re eating bourbon white chocolate biscuits, shrimp chips, and takoyaki balls. Listen along to find out which was better, the Media or Munchies?
Brad & Thad watching Tale Of The Nine Tailed kdrama episode 1 while eating some Señorita bread and Japanese brand chips that are supposedly spicy . Listen along to find out which was better, the Media or Munchies?
Brad & Thad watching Atla episode 1 while eating fried rice and a bulgogi wrap. Listen along to find out which was better, the Media or Munchies? Spoiler: we might be 50/50. p.s. the episode was hella pixelated for us cause of bad signal so if we missed a few things then you know why
Hello hello, long time no hear. Brad and Thad are back with a new reaction, we now have no schedule and are doing this whenever we please. In today’s episode we are watching a Netflix movie called Wish You accompanied by many snacks. As for this reaction, no homophobes allowed! Stay out! This movie follows a very vague story line of two men accomplishing a goal together while also growing a kindling care for each other. This might have been our favorite reaction so far. TW: mentions of the word s*cde and kms jokes at the end.
Alright folks, here we have episode 5 of Record of youth. This episode was a bit more uneventful compared to episode 4 so excuse us if we were silent for long periods. Our silence also has to do with the fact that we ate some chocolate and mango mochi in the beginning. This week, for extra content Thad has brought you another rant, but this time with more family drama! Folks, seek therapy, even if you don’t think you need it - you do. Having someone to rant to is always helpful for our mental health. Until next week ;)
We are back with another episode of record of youth, this week we indulge in some more fried rice in the beginning of the episode because we are unoriginal and cheap with groceries. I’m not gonna lie, I’m (Thad) writing this description a day later and I can’t remember what else we talked about in this episode. But that’s what we’re all about here in Bussin’ Podcast, unprofessional and unpredictable. Anyways stay tuned for next week and expect and even worse description for the episode ;).
Finally we return with Record of Youth, we start of the episode with fried rice and tofu (you’re welcome for the clanking bowl asmr). By the end of part 1, Brad loses all her energy after eating, what else do we expect from a child?? Anyways, we started the second half of the episode late because we had an unintentional hour long rant about our lives, don’t listen to it <3 but if you want to just know that we provide absolutely no context so it’ll be confusing as hell. Anyways, once we finally managed to finish the episode with felt satisfied with not only the mango mochi in our digestive systems but also for the mother standing up against her controlling husband; Queen. See you next week, don’t listen to rant, and hope you like the new podcast cover that Thad made 👍🏻.
That’s all folks, last episode of Imitation, it’s been fun, the kind of fun you would have with a one night stand (hook up and never associate with each other after that). Enjoy our asmr of eating mochi and ice cream in the beginning. This last episode was very heartfelt - spoiler: Brad cries. We review our thoughts at the end, we are repetitive with the whole plot hole situation but it is what it is. See you next week.
Brad and Thad here finally back with ep 11 of Imitation, starting off with a banger and roasted potatoes. Small update, Friday schedules may have some bumps in the road because of connection issues. Look forward to next weeks episode 12, will all 9 conflicts and plot holes be filled? Will Park Jin Man stop being a fussy money hungry child? Will the Shax leader grow some balls? Stay tuned.
Brad and Thad here with another episode of the kdrama record of youth, for today’s menu we had fried potatoes and Brad’s lightbulb finally turned on in their gold fish of a brain and had the idea to add Parmesan on top of it 🙌🏻 anyways, considering we are barely hitting the second episode, we are still getting to know the characters and learning background info on them, it’s a slow start but the story looks promising. Spoiler: all pride aside, my man Hye-Jun should’ve taken a sugar daddy when it was offered to him
Today we are reacting to Ep 10 of the K drama Imitation. Sadly we did not have any snacks for this episode BUT it’s because we wanted to save room to make cake at 1 am,, anyways today’s episode finally had personality - unlike Ryok :D mans is in the middle of experiencing his first elementary school level relationship at the age 25 so we can’t blame him.
We finish off episode 9 of Imitation while eating spicy lays chips. Per usual the episode has no substance and a lack of plot with heavy unexplained backstory and flashbacks. Directors and script writers, I beg, explain your process because it ain’t clear to us. Anyways see you next Friday,,,,, unless.
Starting episode 9 of the kdrama Imitation. We’re crossing our fingers and hoping this episode has more to offer than the last. We made ourselves some fried rice and Thad put too much salt in hers, her tongue went pspspsps at the sodium levels.
This is part 2 of Record of Youth Episode 1. Brad comes in clutch and pulls out the Milano cookies, but regardless we end the episode starving. We discuss the episodes qualities while serenading y’all with Dreamers by Ateez. (Apologies for our seagull screeching we call singing )
Here we are starting a new Korean Drama - Record of Youth. Thad made Brad start watching it because she hates everyone in the show and wants share the pain, but the plot has something going on. In the end we start ranting about the economy and inflation differences between California and South Korea so be sure to tune in for our unqualified Ted Talk.
Part 2 of the k-drama imitation commentary from Brad and Thad. A little warning for this episode: it had no substance. If this episode was a spice? It would be flour.
We are starting episode 8 pt. 1 of the drama Imitation. Thad still cringes at the intro but Brad slaps it out her. Today we are eating balls, aka strawberry mochi ice cream.
Part 2 in the last 30 minutes of Episode 7. Spoiler for our review: the episode was very lack luster and we hate everyone ✌🏻. Also Thad forgot that she had extra snacks to eat barely at the end of the episode (cherries).
Raw and live with our reactions to the k-drama Imitation Ep 7. We start off the episode eating Samanco fish shaped ice cream and tea, twas Bussin 👌🏻.
Part 2 of our reaction to a episode 6 of Imitation. Then we discuss some random shit afterwords, looking up the actors names and ages. It’s Fr just random rants in here that don’t make sense.
Reaction to the Imitation drama pt.1 - Ngl we didn’t listen to ourselves after recording this so if the audio sucks then that’s not our problem ✋🏻.
