The use mask or not continues in American but we can see the infection rate and deaths go up in 37 states particularly in states that what to open at 100% and eliminate the statewide masks mandate. This has truly been more of a political decision versus one that takes in to account public health. Only 15% so far have been vaccinated at least with one shot. Many public and private health officials believe we are in for another surge.

There are some people to realize what and how White Privilege works for them because they never faced rejection socially, economically, educationally, as well as financially just to name a few. Even in a pandemic they still are first in line for the vaccine. Its a part of our culture that seems to continue today.

The riot at the US Capitol in Washington, D.C. was the apex of the white supremist groups running scared because they lost the election of their supreme leader Donald Trump. All of his actions to undermine the democratic process revealed his desire to become a dictator. It was all a failure and they used their voices and violence to demonstrate their displeasure. Now that they were used by Donald Trump, now they are existed from him and are worried about the federal charges and how their lives have been turned upside down.

Have we really made progress, the answer is no, as Dr. Martin Luther King said "I had A Dream". Thus far it seems to be a dream that we have to die and work for to make it a reality, Over 2000 black people have lost their lives in the struggle for justice and equality since 2013, and it does not even seem we are turning the corner. Its the new modern day system of slavery. But we get there someday. We Shall Overcome Some Day!

Since the Republicans lost the Presidency, House and Senate they are trying to turn the back to the days of Jim Crow by making it harder for people of color to vote with unnecessary restrictions, limiting drop off ballot boxes and striping thee power from local jurisdiction to conduct their election without fear that the big bad wolf is going to change it and take over since they don't like the ways things are operating. Trump 2.0 since he was complaining about cheating well before the 2020 election cycle setting things in motion if he lost.
